Nice small place … hoo hoo hooo.

If there was an option for no stars I would give it just that, they did not pick up the phone. My family and were stranded at 3 in the morning. Looking for a place to sleep. Finally we went to the aloft hotel, paid 50 bucks extra per night. The people there are amazing helpful and empathetic. Would NEVER recommend the red roof inn to anyone!

We stayed in room 225 and as soon as we walked in the room smelled like smoke, in a room that is 100% smoke free. We found mold in the shower and a spider between the bed and the night stand. Although the sink was nice my seven year old daughter couldn't reach the sink. The front office lady was nic and friendly, but the room was rough.

This place is an excellent budget option but don't expect luxury. Rooms door are outside, and the site has no elevators. Ask for a first floor room if you have a heavy load. The site has clearly put some thought into upkeep. The room is nicely decorated, and everything seems clean. It's a bit of a range of quality. The vinyl chair it the room appeared to be from the 80s, but the sink area clearly has some new looking fixtures. Sink was mounted crooked, but nice all the same. Room had no fridge, coffee maker, microwave, or closet (just a spot for hangers). TV was a bit aged but did the trick. Few power outlets in the room. Note: I was staying in one of the standard rooms. Hotel advertises upgrade to a "Deluxe" room, which appears in pictures to be far nicer. I can't speak to the quality of those. Overall, not a bad experience, but personally I wish I had thrown a few extra bucks down for my week long stay at someplace that at least had coffee in the room.

Clean. Quiet. Nice desk people. Mattress was a bit hard but that is a personal thing. GPS didn't want to find bit it is easy once on the right road.

Good place for a short stay. VERY pet friendly! Was here for 1 week in July. A/C worked good. Nice shower, comfy bed. The comforter was amazing. Mind was blown, they must have been brand new. Bright white, puffy and soft — was impressive. No carpet, flooring seemed new. The manager Paula was nice. No complaints really. Wifi wasn't good at all. The dresser drawers were dirty so I didn't unpack my clothes. I'd stay here again if needed.

The guest service agent who checked us in, whose name was Martina let us stand and wait at the desk as she conducted a telephone call. The problem was not her having a call when we walked in, it was the manner in which she completely ignored us. First we were acknowledged by a man who said she as he pointed her way would help us he then quickly left the desk, never to return. As I said after Martina never looked up from staring down at her desk and sometimes toward the computer to make eye contact, give a smile or greeting. After 15 minutes she finally ended the call. She abruptly went into name still no eye contact or greeting. She spoke in a very condescending tone which conveyed annoyance but with a false nice monotone. It was passive agression and instead of having any dialogue she hurled facts at us. For example when asked if my traveling partner could have a room her reply was since your early and I have to do an early check in I will see what is available. Here demeanor screamed that we were a bother and she was doing us a favor by acknowledging us. There are subtle mannerisms that convey annoyance disrespect and rudeness and by far ignoring guests speaking down to them and then making "nice nasty remarks rank high in rudeness. Martina is everything you don't want representing a nation chain who must serve every type of person. I will never stay at a Ramada again. Btw the accommodations were clean and housekeeping was extremely nice.

Room size was small but very clean. Ideal for 2 nights. I would definitely recommend upgrading so you have a mini fridge and plush pillowtop mattress. They were doing construction on roof so if you are trying to get sleep past 8am. Good luck!

Litterally the most expensive crappy hotel I've ever been to. The Tv remote didn't work. The Wi-Fi constantly cut out at 3 minute intervals. I think the only plus was that the bed wasn't absolutely terrible and yet it still sucked. Unless they become a $40 or less hotel for the same experience ill never stay again.

This Red Roof Plus is functional, clean, and located in close proximity to BWI airport. It's located near a few restaurants and the area seems to be developing so that in a few years, it will be in an even more prime location. It was inexpensive, comfortable, and clean albeit a bit compact. There wasn't much noise and despite being initially worried by the warning on the door, my stay was ultimately safe. This isn't quite the place you want to be if you didn't drive and are using ride-sharing for more than a simple trip to the airport. I can definitely recommend it for the cost-conscious guest.

Clean place with plenty of parking. Great for my overnight stay to take a break from long driving. I got accomodated for my request for early checkin and got upgraded to premier room due to some issue with the original room I got. Friendly front desk team too. Will swing by again if I need another stay in the future!

Lovely little room, much better quality than I was expecting for the price. Comfortable bed, decent TV. Front desk staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I'd stay here again.

Found gross stains on the room chair and on the back side of the bed spread. Did the upgraded room it's clean in spots you can see but not so much in areas harder to reach. Not horrible but im very picky so could be better. Toilet was not flushing called front desk they told me to walk down and get a plunger from them. Excuse me I'm paying to stay here. Also cable went out due to weather you would think they would give you some kind of comp for that but no. Also was annoyed because I was told it was pet friendly but I was made to sign a waiver saying if my dog annoyed anyone one I would be charged for the inconvenience. No other hotel has this. Would probably opt to spend a little more and go to a better hotel next time.

Water stays cold for a long time. When you get in the shower and comfortable with the temperature, it will freeze you again! Other than that I always have a great stay here.

Not a bad hotel, but not a great one as well. Rooms are clean enough, but bathroom is too small and the sink is outside the bathroom which is not very convenient. Room doors have some issues. We couldn't get into our room for like 30 min cause the door was stuck, and there's no maintenance people at night. Prices are reasonable. I would suggest taking upgraded room as it includes more features and isn't much expensive. Staff is somewhat nice. Overall, this place is okay.

Staff isn't very friendly. They put us on the 3rd floor and the elevator wasn't working. Upon investigation… Someone on the 2nd floor put trash in the way for the door to clothes thus stopping the elevator from working. I had to clear trash out of the way in order to get my wife and child to the 3rd floor. When we turned on the wall unit we woke up the next morning sick… I'm sure due to either a dirty room or dirty wall unit. Rooms are very small although redone recently. There are plenty of better options in the area.

We asked for a non-smoking room. The first thing we noticed when we walked into our room was the overwhelming odor of cigarette smoke. There were burnt holes in the bed sheets which we assumed came from embers from the last guests cigarettes. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

It was okay. Very stylish and comfortable. The rooms were nice a good place to lay your head. I love how the dogs stay free. But… I didn't like how gross the so called dog area was. I was walking my dog and found used condoms on the ground along with KY Jelly. Bunch of trash and so on. The outside was not all that clean. The steps were not to sturdy but it was okay. We stayed in room 254 it was nice just expected to carpet area was not vaccumed all the way. And every time my husband or I took a shower it was like a flood that leaked from the shower all the way to the sink area. So we had to get alot of towels just to help soak up the water. It was nice we normally don't do 2.5 stars and that was more of an 1 star to us. But it was only for 2 days. So it was fine.

The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable and overall I had a very pleasant experience. But the only negative thing that I noticed was the musty smell in the room. It might have been from the air conditioner that was on when I entered and maybe the filter needs cleaned or something because it was evident.

Check in was pleasant, very friendly. The room was dirty. At first without it was just a couple things… There just a couple towels hanging in the bathroom. There was only one washcloth and 2 hand towels, 2 were soaked and one had been used. The microwave had not been cleaned and the drawer handles were sticky. We let the office know. A little later I discovered that the toilet hadn't been cleaned and the bathroom floor had not been mopped. The rate was high for an unremarkable hotel.

Customer service was terrific for it to be so late, Mr. Eddy, was professional, well spoken and walked through the check in process with flying stars. Rooms were very clean, up to date, cozy with all the amenities. I'll definitely stay again. There was also a quaint snack box in the refrigerator.

The front desk was pleasant and friendly. They accommodated a room switch request with no problem. There were only 3 pillows in our room, which had a king size bed and the controls for the AC didn't seem to do anything… reducing the temperature didn't work and the high and low settings were the same it seemed. Overall though I'd stay here again.

Decent room. Rates were a bit outrageous for the location but it's not that big of a deal. Front desk personal at the time of check in was a bit over-the-top with his stories of having to kick a bunch of teenage partiers out the night before. Not very professional when you have three different customers in the office. All the other staff was fine and attentive.

Excellent location. Room very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping excellent. The only detail is that there was only an ice machine.

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn Plus near BWI Airport and Arundel Mall in Hanover Maryland. Because of working out of town, my stay exceeded a month. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff was always friendly. When I had a problem with a light not working, it was promptly fixed the next day. On the down side, being that I was there for an extended period of time, it would have been nice to have a coffee pot in my room. I was told that was for an upgraded room. Also there is nothing at all for breakfast other than the coffee that's always available in the office area.

Great staff! They were very friendly and accommodating for my trip. Room was very clean and ready when I arrived. Good for an overnight stop.

Great location, great rooms. I felt safe, it's on a side street with decent businesses, so it doesn't feel like you are in the hood, which is great for a lower priced hotel near Baltimore. Overall it was a fantastic stay and I'd come here again. At no time did I feel sketchy about staying here, as an adult male travelling with two females, and getting two rooms. I will definitely stay here again if needed.

Location is pretty good. The hotel is tucked away in a business district with a couple of restraunts within a minute's walk. I got a good deal on my room, and because I am staying here for a few weeks I am happy about that. If you are here for a single nights stay any of the rooms will do, but if you are here for awhile I'd recommend the deluxe king room which comes with a mini fridge, microwave and what appears to be double the floor space. Perfect for my stay.

I'm staying at the Redroof in Hanover md. I go to take a shower and discover there are red markings on the shower mat. I take a tissue and wipe and the red spot smears. I call the front desk and speak to Elizabeth to report the dirty tub. She reports that she is the only one at the desk, and housekeeping will not be in until tomorrow morning at 9am. I ask to speak to the manager and she informs me that a manager will not available until Wednesday. She does apologize for the dirty tub and offers another room. Otherwise I would have rated the hotel zero. Unfortunately I'm tired it's late, it dark, and I have too much stuff to relocate. Irritated times 100.
