I would rate this hotel stay a 3! Only reason they would receive any points at all is because the women at the front desk upon check in was truly pleasant! After checking in we received nothing but disappointing experiences forcing us to cancel the remainder of our stay. We choose to leave then to give this facility one more cent! I called the front desk on Friday 10/7 to speak to a manager and I was told there was no management on staff! Really? I am a manager in the hospitality industry and I know for a fact that on a Friday night, on a weekend that has booked out most if not all of your facility there IS OR SHOULD HAVE a manager on staff! The neglect of care from every staff member was absolutely disgraceful. I watched some of the most unsanitary and unprofessional acts be followed through by staff it was sickening! Holiday Inn should be genuinely ashamed of themselves for allowing one of there sites to operate this way!

Handicap bathroom is NOT accurate. The shower is a tub with no way in or out of you can't stand and step into high tub. Shower head is NOT hand held and you have to be able to stand in order to lower it. Curtains on window are see-through… I felt uncomfortable. It also allowed too much sun to come in in the morning. I didn't arrive at hotel till 2am and wanted to sleep in… so much for that. Staff was wonderful!

The front desk service was phenomenal! They catered to every request we had which were, allowing a service dog to stay, covering parking, putting us in a room on the top floor away from the elevator, and covering breakfast. Not one issue was given to us by the hotel. The room was perfect! There was a king bed, lots of room, a TV (that worked efficiently), the bathrooms were a little small, but it was manageable. All around great stay. I really recommend eating at the restaurant 904 attached to the hotel for at least breakfast. The service was on point and food tasted great!

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn. The room was spacious and clean and we has a nice view of the town with the mountains in the background. The wallpaper could use some updating and the parking is a bit of a walk, but for me the most important factor is cleanliness and they really delivered.

The rooms are a little bit dated but they are clean. Staff was real nice and they have parking. Views are nothing spectacular but it gets the job done, a good sleep.

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. There's a garage in the back with awnings connecting to the property, although there isn't a covered ramp. Breakfast left something to be desired as it consisted of two types of overcooked eggs, greasy bacon, and dry brown-n-serve sausages as well as canned fruit salad. The coffee and juice was good. If you are visiting PPL, it is extremely convenient.

Good staff. Rooms were eh, but then again its not a Hilton. Not bad.

This hotel, while in an advantageous location, is in desperate need of an update. Nearly everything about the hotel feels old, the rooms, the lobby, the hallways, everything. The hotel charges far too much per night for what you get. I will compliment the staff though. Every person we dealt with was professional, attentive and welcoming.

This is a nice facility, for Allentown. Reasonable prices, well equipped rooms. How ever, the facility doesn't come with complimentary breakfast, leading to one having to pay for the fat over priced to service, or the in-house restaurant. Overall, good hotel. Do not come by though if you expect a free, good breakfast.

Hotel is fine and good service. When we checked in there was a little issue with the bathroom so we called room service and they just gave us another room and complimentary coupons. It was something not big too be bothered about but still they took it seriously and offered new room. Food is fine in the restaurant and they even have a small indoor pool to relax. It's just one day here and I find this place fine and it has lots of restaurants nearby so plenty of options to dine. Also if planning to go out for some shopping it's location is perfect everything is at a walkable distance.

This place gives you the impression that building is beautiful. When you get up close, the building is something different. It's more of of an older building trying to look upbeat. For what they charge for the rooms, it must be for location. The customer service was pleasant. It made up for the rooms that we stayed in.

Great room and amenities. Front desk was very attentive and helpful. They would go out of their way to aide you.

Place was clean and tidy, service was professional and friendly. Their bar has decent prices and stock. Parking is a little difficult.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn after a work site recently. Clean bathroom, large shower, and ridiculously comfortable bed. Excellent service, as well.

I am very disappointed with the Holiday inn on hamilton st. For almost a month I been trying to contact some one that deals with the banquet halls for my wedding since me and chris had decided to do it there. But for a month I have not been able to have no contact so the other day I valled and ecplained to someone there what I been going threw got to speak to someone at last just for her to tell me she never got a message from. Me thats bull so she says shes going to email me there banquet info guess what its been over a week and nothing in my email I swear I give up back on the search.

BEWARE OF PARKING NEXT DOOR! Hold on to receipt! Charged $10 instead of $6 because of concert. (Hotel reimbursed) Someone is lining their pockets. SHADY STUFF! Parking attendant wouldn't accept hotel receipt when leaving next morning denoting we paid. Hotel staff nice. Room was clean.

It's alright but more things can be added when coming into the lobby. Spending the night is okay but staying is ok but the experience isn't the greatest. But worth staying is okay.

Needed to call 3 times to management between 2am-4am due to a 'party' going on next door to us. With 2 toddlers sleeping in the room! I feel it should have been taken care of the first time not resulting in additional calls.

Half the doors are locked/don't work, which is an issue in the cold. Staff is friendly. No fridge in room. Blinds on windows inadequate.

Central location, decent for a 2* hotel but extremely overpriced for an almost non-working internet connection. Use your mobile connection or try a different place if you care about a minimal internet connection.

The shower hot cold dial was lose. And the toilet didn't flush. Move to 2 floor and the heater was falling off the wall and the ice machine was turn off. Also the guest laundry was closed. And the luggage cart screws were comeing out. AThe staff was friendly. How ever, they need to hire better maintenance staff! And the pool was small and dirty and it was very cold.

Nothing place is dirty the front desk manager is unprofessional, it has been one of the worse places I ever stayed at… Don't believe anything the front desk manager tells you… We had a room that smell like poop the bathroom was dirty the blanket had a urine stain and after complaining the house keeper lady told me for me to change the sheets and make the bed myself.

Clean rooms and pleasant staff. I was only there one night, but I have no complaints and it served my needs. Eggs Benedict is pretty great too.

Comfortable Enough Room — ok, new bathroom, clean. Some old fittings like light switches and plug sockets. Generally quiet, occassional street noise. Breakfast — No buffet. Fresh fruit ok, cereal ok. Sometimes no milk available: however fruit and toast given free to make up for lack of milk. Parking — good: next door and $6/day. It seems like an older building that has been mostly refurbished. Indoor swimming pool is small and was under maintenance during my stay. Location is convenient for Allentown City Center.
