Super clean! Fresh everything! Felt brand new room 237. Sweet staff! Quiet. Great TV and HBO. Good water pressure. Lots of keurig choices. Lots of fresh towels. Big mirror. The bathroom light is a conservative switch so the light warms up and adjust itself based on the time left on. So don’t think it’s broke. Ha. It’s saving electricity. We recommend the Mexican restaurant across the street from the motel. It’s 5 star!

Wonderful room, great front desk service.

Close to a restaurant and bar. Plus a mimi market with gas station. Once COVID is over it will be back to full hot breakfast, pool open and eat in restaurant/bar again.

We visited family in Ashland Oregon. We checked in late the first night, and the staff was very friendly and prepared for us, as we had called to tell them we would be late. Then ADA room was great and the bathroom was large enough for me to get my husband in with his walker. The toilet could be a little taller to make it easier for him to sit down. Everything else was great. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff there very accomodating.

The food, service, and space in the breakfast room is exceptional. Food includes hot (steam tray), make your own pancakes/waffles, good coffee, and well stocked with pastries, breads, cereal, oatmeal, etc. Etc. The room itself is spacious and there are pleasant outside tables. We always stay here. For the first time, we got a suite with kitchenette so that we could fix a few of our own meals while in Ashland. It was very good, well worth the price.

Loved this hotel, loved all the little British touches in the decor, rooms are spacious and clean, lots of extra toiletries and the breakfast is unbelievable! Wi-Fi is also way faster than other places we’ve stayed, and they have a resident fluffy cat.

Excellent roadside motel located less than ten minutes from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and about one minute of I5 exit 14. Free transportation to and from the theaters. Property is well maintained. Beautiful landscaping that is lush and vibrant. Swimming pool and spa are clean in a gated area. Complimentary breakfast served daily that is OK. King bed was obviously new and very good.

Exceptional accommodations with very friendly staff! Staff very concerned about the quality of your visit. Large facility with plenty of amenities. Breakfast had plenty of variety and I took more than I could eat. Plenty of dining space for the large number of people that attended breakfast. Will definitely come here again when in the area!

First time in Ashland visiting our daughter. The place is clean! I saw 3 people sweeping up around the cars in the parking lot. Hot tub hot, but the pool was a little on the cool side for me. The breakfast served was excellent ever day 6 days on a row! Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, oatmeal, juice, bagels all excellent. A big time saver. I stayed on the first floor, it is a walk up to the second floor no elevator just so you know. Front desk staff friendly and prompt. I had no idea that Best Westerns were this nice. I would definitely stay at this place again.

This place has comfy beds, is clean and rooms are large. Pet friendly areas and a nice space with Jasmine and hydrangeas and roses decorating the walkways and lending sweet smeels as you make your way to your room. Staff is really friendly and helpful, nice pool and hot tub and breakfast area, will definitely stay here again if and when I pass through again. Convenient location off freeway but close to downtown Ashland so glad we booked this room.

I always stay at this Hotel while visiting Southern Oregon. I am always impressed with the front desk staff, their breakfast is good with plenty of choices. I recently stayed again at the Windsor and was impressed. Their housekeeping was busy and professional, our room was clean in good working order. The front desk clerk reconized me when I walked in the door and I did not have a reservation. That type of recognition is always a nice touch. After my last stay they emailed me and rectified the issues that they had before. I would recommend this Hotel if ever in the area.

Nice little room with a big king bed, cushy pillows, lil mini fridge — the breakfast was classic with lots of bread/pancakes/waffles/cereal/hot cereal, a little fruit and eggs/biscuits and gravy/hash brows/bacon/sausage — depending on the day. The pool was really crowded with families/noisy kids and the hot tub was not hot. Bummer.

WOW! What a Safe Haven for me as the SNOW kept me from continuing North (NM to OREGON) on I 5. What kindness, reassurance & genuine help on all areas! Breakfast was PERFECT! served in a comfortable setting/ not tucked away in a tiny room off the lobby (as experienced at other sites). The house keeping staff were so efficient, going about their "thankless" chores quietly & politely. Give them a raise!

We really love this place! The beds Are so comfortable, And they have an out door pool! They also have a descent fitness center. There is a restaurant/ bar right next door, a Mexican place right there, And The caldera brewery near by, so many fiid options. They do serve a hot breakfast as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, we were stopping for a night on our way to moving from CA to WA. The staff was quick and friendly. We had lovely rooms that were spacious, clean, and updated. The location allows dogs which allowed us to bring ours along instead of figuring out how to fly them from CA to WA. They recieved little complimentary dog treats too! The parking lot is spacious enough for you to stop there with a moving truck. I would definitely stay there again if we need to pass through as stay overnight!

The windsor is a great place to stay. The staff is very knowledgeable and accomodating, and that includes the housekeepers! the grounds are maintained at a high level and cleanliness of our rooms has always been very noticeable. Internet access is quick and very fast. And the breakfast is terrific offering a wide variety of foods. We recommend this location highly, especially for easy access to affordable gasoline and the interstate highway.

There were (yes seven) pillows on each comfortable bed. The heat/AC unit was whisper quiet. The vanity area was spacious. The breakfast service was spacious with lots of yummy offerings. Goldilocks would be pleased.

Great value for the price. Easy access to freeway. Not too far from downtown. Lots of nearby restaurants (check out Caldera Brewing! ). Rooms are clean, well decorated, plenty of parking and friendly staff.

My recent stay at the Windsor Inn was great. To start easy on and off to the interstate. Was greeted by Isaiah at the front desk. He was very friendly and check in was a breeze. We asked about a restaurant recommendation as the inn has a few around it, one is 30’ from the office. His personal favorite was the Caldera Brew Pub which we tried and it was excellent! The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good, my fav was the breakfast burrito. There was plenty of seating. There are several gas stations next to the inn which made it convenient. To summarize our stay here was very enjoyable. To the Best Western brand and the people who are employed by them thank you!

I loved my stay here recently! Although there was an issue at check in since my boyfriend paid with his credit card and I was by myself, it was resolved, Bed was super comfortable! Staff was friendly and I loved the full breakfast bar! I will definitely stay here again! Ashland is beautiful by the way!

It was really nice inside. Bed was comfortable, 1 pack and play we were provided with looked brand new, another was kind of gross : (. Upon arrival, staff was courteous, gave us a welcome bag which was lovely. It had 2 bottled waters and 2 granola bars. As I always seem to find in life, there was a large hairball in towel next to the sink. : (didn't catch it til right before we checked out-wasn't mine. The door handle to the bathroom was broken, the toilet didn't want to flush, and the walls were thin. BUT Breakfast was good! They offer gluten free and dairy free items upon request. Conveniently located next to a family owned restaurant, so we had a couple drinks before bed and walked right to our room. We'll return to stay here again in the future. ❤

This is our third time staying at this hotel. It is very conveniently located, well maintained and quiet. The staff is superb in helping with directions, recommendations and service. Breakfast staff is very polite and prompt when asking for anything special. We like the upstairs rooms over the pool area as they give a nice view of the mountain to the north and are spacious, beds very comfortable and the split bathroom with shower and toilet in one area and sink counter in another make it real user friendly and efficent. More hotels should design the bath areas this way. Highly recommend the hotel for value and satisfaction.

This is a great place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They make you feel as though staying at their property is important. The rooms are nicely furnished. The pillows and beds are comfortable. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. There were plenty of choices in the way of hot meals as well as cold. There are several very good restaurants in walking distance if one does not want to drive into town. Would stay here again.

European-like inn complete with snow-capped mountains in the background. Clean, lovely rooms, great hospitality and attention to detail. Full breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffle and pancake making machines, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, cereal, muffins, coffee, juice, breakfast burritos — the list goes on and on. About a five minute drive to the Christmas wonderland of downtown Ashland. All this for very reasonable rate. Discount for 55+.

Just a one-night stay to break up our trip. Very friendly staff at check-in, check-out, and breakfast room. Quick and efficient. Room was 2-queen, two sinks, shower/tub combo. No fridge or microwave, but coffee maker with Keurig coffee pods. Comfortable bed and quiet room. Very clean, well-maintained room and hotel. Breakfast room was large and comfortable and hosted a variety of food: scrambled eggs, bacon (on the thin side but good), potatoes, fresh biscuits and sausage gravy as well as other cold options and plenty of coffee. Staff on hand that made sure food stayed available. Would recommend to others.

We've always been very pleased. Hotel is always clean, friendly staff, yummy breakfast included that offers a good amount of variety. Pool is good with seating to lounge and visit with friends. They have a workout/ weight room but we haven't used it. There is a banquet room that would be nice for an event.

We were impressed by the quality of this property. Our room was large, comfortable, clean and well-appointed. The rate was very competitive with comparable properties. The room was very quiet, despite being fairly close to a busy street. Our winter stay didn't provide an opportunity to enjoy the attractive outdoor pool area but it would be welcome during Ashland's warm summers. A further benefit is having an excellent Mexican restaurant, a brew pub and two other restaurants within easy walking distance.

The Best Western Windsor Hotel at Ashland, OR is my favorite place to stay. I stay at this hotel twice each year as I travel between WA and CA. It is pet friendly and my travels require this feature. I make my reservations by calling the hotel directly and they are always done accurately and professionally. Check-in and check-out are both easy. Rooms are always perfect and the Internet service is faster than most other hotels I stay at. Their breakfast offering is fantastic, one main reason why I keep going back. They have a wide range of foods and also a pancake machine — I've never seen one at another hotel. There's a really good family-style restaurant next door (not part of the hotel, I think), The Oak Tree Northwest. I always stop there for dinner as I arrive. That's another reason why I prefer the Best Western Windsor Hotel in Ashland, OR.

The staff was polite and accommodating. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I do not like to travel as I do not like the gamble of hotel accommodations. I would stay here again. Great night sleep. Thank you.

The Bet Western Windsor Inn in Ashland, Oregon gets a five star rating from me. The staff was wonderful — courteous, helpful and professional. The room was very big and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've stayed in for a long time. I've already recommended this hotel to friends and look forward to going back!

Check in was smooth. The room was on the second floor overlooking the outdoor pool. I thought it might be noisy because of that, but it was not. Room was clean and inviting. Nice to have the gift of bottled water! Everything worked properly. The tea and coffee selection was also a nice surprise. The breakfast is quite complete. Make your own pancakes and waffles, to breads, cereals, a variety of eggs and potatoes, bacon, yogurt, juices, coffee and tea. Perfect for most people. Fresh fruit was bananas and oranges. I asked for a late checkout because of my flight and was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to beg or anything. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is good. We slept well!

Overall, an excellent experience. We had a handicap accessible room (ADA) and it met my husband's needs quite well. He uses a cane and/or walker. Many times you're not too sure what to expect in an ADA room and they can be inferior as far as meeting needs, particularly in the shower area. The room was very spacious, decorated well and pleasant. We could park close by and the breakfast room was also quite close, which was helpful for my husband (great choice of breakfast foods! ). The overall style of the motel is English and the plants are just beautiful — roses and hydrangeas abound. I was very pleased with our stay.

I was charmed by the beautiful wooden railings and the office in a separate little building. A friendly gentleman behind the counter directed me to my room on a paper map! I love the retro feel. The rooms were nicely decorated and beds with a pillow display. A Kuerig on a really nice double sink vanity. I skipped the free breakfast only because I was rushing to get on the road. I enjoyed my brief stay.

Exceptional staff, very helpful and considerate. When I arrived two hours before check in, Staff recommended a close by restaurant within walking distance (Caldera Brewery, GO THERE! ) and called my cell an hour before official check in time to let me know my room had been prepared. Immaculate room, comfortable. I needed to check out very early in order to avoid traffic congestion in central OR surrounding the Eclipse, and the night staff was alert and at the desk at 4:30 am. I didn't use the shuttle to the theater area, but one is available and that info is posted at check in. Service station for gas is outside the driveway and freeway is one minute away.

Great Hotel for visiting The Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Clean quiet room. The Staff are super nice and helpful. Breakfast is your typical fare, but kept very clean and the staff help move a lot of people through very quickly.

We arrived at 2am. The office staff was friendly. The room was great. Large, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was better than average. The grounds were very well kept and beautiful.

This motel had the BEST staff of any place I have ever stayed at!
They were extremely helpful, and seemed to really care about their guest's experience.
The room was clean, and big, but could have used more places to hang, and place things in the bathroom. The main problem with the room was the heater/cooling unit in the room. Even at the coldest setting possible, the room did not get cool, and it was very hot outside. Luckily, when I asked if there was a fan I could use, the answer was yes. They brought over a nice big 3 speed box fan! The only other reason I only can give a good rating, is that the outside was a little worse for wear, considering the price.

After driving for eight hours followed by a snafu between another hotel and a third party booking app resulting in my party of four not having adequate accommodations, I felt very fortunate to end up at the BW Windsor. The very helpful staff accommodated my truck and trailer parking and gave us adjacent rooms, which were very clean and relaxing. After being back on the road for about an hour the next morning, I received a call from the front desk informing me that someone in my group had left a garment in the room. Although we were too far to turn around, they were able to send it to my home address. Such great service — — I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Ashland!

I don't typically write reviews, but we were just so happy with our entire experience here, I thought they deserved the recognition. Very charming hotel, the kids loved the pool and spa. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds, pillows and sheets were very comfortable — we had a wonderful sleep. The breakfast was complete and satisfying and the kids enjoyed the wide variety of choices including making their own waffles. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We attended a wedding in the area and the bride and groom booked a block of rooms at this location. We arrived late in the evening so went to bed quickly, but the room was in great condition and very clean. There was a nice selection of tea and coffee in the room with a keurig maker, regular toiletries on the counter and a notice that should we have forgotten anything to call the desk and they would provide it. I hadn't packed a comb or brush and they brought a comb to our room right away. The breakfast was great, with a variety of hot meal options and pasties as well as fruits, juices, and coffee. We didn't swim at all but the pool was nice and clean, and the grounds were well kept. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area, and will book future stays here myself.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Windsor in Ashland, Oregon, on my way to family events in Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, WA. This hotel was comfortable, in a location convenient to the route we were traveling, had friendly, professional staff and was a totally positive experience. I liked it well enough to also book a room on our return trip to CA when we decided to stay an extra day in Oregon on the way home. I recommend this hotel as being clean, comfortable, and good value for the price.

Stayed here strictly out of convenience to the I-5 freeway. Turned out to be a very nice place. This was the last hotel stay on our 30 day road trip to national parks in Montana, Alberta, British Columbia and Washington. We were glad to hit a place as nice as this one.

The hotel was great! The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the Internet worked fine. We really enjoyed this cute little place and we have already told several of our friends!

For the most part, a good place to stay. The beds are comfortable and the towels are fluffy and it is clean. Not every room has help me bars in the bathroom which is necessary for me. Older people like me have balance issues and getting in and out of a shower tub combo is dangerous enough with the bars and really dangerous without them. They also have a shuttle to the plays which is a plus as parking id difficult and somewhat pricey around the theaters. We will stay here again when we are not in our travel trailer.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Room was clean and well organized. Staff was friendly. Bed and Pillows were comfortable. The location is also very good, it's right off the freeway and walking distance over to Caldera Brewery :)

Very clean room and grounds, friendliest of staff and all helpful. Dog friendly too! Had my dogs with me and they had a grass area just for dogs. I would stay here again if I'm in the area. There were two misses for me, the mini fridge didn't work and the TV flickered. Otherwise, it was a terrific value.

Clean rooms with very welcoming front desk. The one draw back is how far away the hotel is from downtown.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Best Western Windsor Inn. The person at the front desk was quite helpful and friendly. We even received a special pet package, which consisted of a few dog treats and a clean sheet/cover, to protect the furniture in the room in case our dog wanted to lay on the bed/chairs. Since we were in a rush to get to our final destination, we didn't try their continental breakfast, but I've heard that it's good. If we ever head toward Ashland again, we will definitely be staying here again!

Very friendly front desk, great breakfast. Nice outdoor pool and hot tub that both kids and adults love. Pool convenient to many rooms. Spacious gym. Beautiful gardens, beautiful architecture. Room is pretty standard, and a bit small but the amenities are awesome. Also convenient 5 min drive to downtown. Two great sit-down restaurants within 3-5 min walk — El Paraiso (Mexican) and Caldera (brewhouse).

Ac in room has musty smell full of dust needs to be cleaned. Requested different room. New room not much better ac still dirty I would have left but wife requested we just deal with it for the one night. Can hear every door to each room near you open and close. Beds are nice and clean looking but like sleeping on a trampoline if you move the whole beds moves. Have stayed in 4 different best westerns this week and this room was $150.00 for two queen beds. Previous night was 101 per night great bed and room breakfast was excellent. If I was near ashland I would avoid this best western. Sub par. Breakfast was watered-down oj dry muffins eggs were ok pancakes were out of a comercial machine not bad. Garbage was overflowing in eating area will post pictures. Before we checked out we started looking around room very dirty found a cough drop on floor lights in bathroom were white but covered with brown dust will post picture shelf in bathroom was covered in dirt. More to follow will edit when I get home Windsor best western Ashland I would avoid. Not worth the price for a bad night of sleep.

The room was clean and okay. A bit spendy for what it is. The location was okay as well. It was a clean safe place to stay for the night. The free parking lot is guarded and the maintenance man was nice as well. The best part for sure was Pete at the front desk. He is without a doubt, one of the kindest, sweetest, most thoughtful men we have ever met. I would go there again, just to see Pete.

After a long drive from SF heading to Seattle along I-5 (Feb of 2014), I pulled off the exit here and found this Best Western. The price was about $100 total one night, which seemed a bit high, since I normally prefer the $50 range. However it was late around 8pm and didn't want to waste time comparing prices driving around the area, so I decided to stay here. They have nice 32" or so LCD TV with the basic channels, rooms are clean, in-house coffee, free Wifi, and I requested a toothbrush and got it. I guess the cheaper motels won't have these "little" necessities. Bed was comfy, air conditioner/heat worked fine. I stayed at the top floor, was quiet outside at night, just enough away from the freeway, but close to get back onto it in the morning easily. They had a spa and pool outdoors and it was cold when I tested the water in the morning, so I guess there is no heat to the water (unless you stay there in the summer when the water gets naturally hot, I guess). They had hot breakfast as part of the room price, which was good. Eggs, sausage, juice. Good food to make up for the high room price. Overall, a nice place to stay, the hotel staff seemed nice enough. Plenty of parking for cars in the motel lot. The only con I guess is the high price. Would have been better if it was $70 or so.

We stayed (room 121) in April, 2012. A family of 4, 2 teenage girls, all were very comfortable. The room had fresh bedding, carpets, and furniture — all functionality in bath and room (cable, tv, internet) was great. Apparently recently refurbished because it is on par with more expensive hotels in southern california in the 200-300 range. Check-in took awhile, and we were tired, but settling in the room alleviated the stress from the road and that time from check-in. The girls and my husband were happy with the breakfast, and again, those facilities were clean and updated. Can't comment on the pool — Oregon spring, not open. 90$/night.

P. O. S. Tv didn't work. The cable connecter on the TV was ripped out. They need to get all new tv's for all the rooms. It's time to upgrade their rooms too.

The place was old but large and comfy. However, in the morning I found a row of bites on each leg that I still have five days later. I checked the internet and they sure look like bedbugs — — none of the characteristics of fleas or mosquitos. Pretty shocking nowadays. We had our pup with us who is flealess, but that place needs a batch of DDT or some insect killer.

We stayed at this motel in September 2008. We have previously always stayed at a B&B when we visited Ashland, but we thought we would experience a motel for one night only and have breakfast at the next door restaurant. We could save maybe $20 between the motel plus food, as compared to the B&B. This really didn't work out too well. The room that we got had a jacuzzi, but the handles on the jacuzzi were frozen so we couldn't turn it on. But most weird of all, the room was designed so that only one person at a time could watch tv. The air conditioner was placed in the wall in such a way there was no room for the TV cabinet. The doors of the TV cabinet didn't open wide enough to accommodate the viewing of two people at once. We usually watch TV sitting in bed. This wasn't possible. A person could not have seen the TV from the jacuzzi — — assuming the faucets worked and the jacuzzi worked. It appears when the air conditioner was placed in the wall, there was no advance planning to accommodate the desk, the mirror above the desk, the TV cabinet and the air conditioner. The room was not new. Other patrons must surely have commented on this anomaly, but nothing was ever done about it. I realize the motel has no responsibility for the restaurant next door, but we ate breakfast there, and it was very poor. All-in-all, we will not try this again. We're convinced our somewhat expensive B&B is worth it. (Motel staff was very friendly and helpful.
