After a massive debacle with their "sister" motel located directly on the boardwalk, I was allowed to stay here. Its only a few blocks from the beach, has free rolls and bagels and coffee for breakfast, the staff are *GREAT*, the rooms aren't the absolute BEST, but its clean, and that's the important thing.

Nice room and affordable price for the location. Hot and cold breakfast.

We are from North Carolina and was visiting Washington and Oregon for vacation last week! Me and my wife was looking for a place to stay for the night 8/28/18, kinda last min spur of the moment! This hotel exceeded our expectations, room was very clean and the lady at the front desk was very helpful and really nice!

The Seaside Quality Inn is coveniently located off of highway 101. Room rate was reasonable. Our room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent with a few gluten free choices for me.

Staff was helpful and answered our questions and provided us with extra suplies when needed. The breakfast was also better then I anticipated, with many warm and cold options. It was a nice stay.

While my sister & I we’re visiting my boys in Portland we took a day trip over to the coast. After a day in Astoria we decided to spend the night & then go down to Cannon Beach to see Haystack Rock the following day. We decided to try & stay in Seaside before heading down the next morning. Since it was a last minute reservation there werent many hotels available. We wound up getting 2 rooms at this Quality Inn. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice and the hotel was clean. What really made our stay was the staff. A young lady at the desk that afternoon named Dyani was super helpful. She gave great recommendations for places to eat and places to avoid, as well as easiest places to find parking in a very crowded area. She gave directions to the beach if we wanted the more public beach, or how to get to a less crowded beach if we preferred. She and Doris, the lady at the desk the next morning, provided a map & directions to the beach at Hug Point, which I had never heard of but was amazing with its combination of beach & caves, and driving directions to Indian Beach without the mile & a half hike I thought was required when I’d looked it up. This was also an amazing beach I might have missed otherwise. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel and staff. However A/C was not working properly. Front desk had no fans. Ended up not sleeping well because swapping rooms would wake the baby. We weren't about to do that. Breakfast was good.

Friendly staff. Rooms with airconditioning! This is rare on the coast but felt great. Basic breakfast. Super clean and large rooms with refrigerator and microwave. Ice and vending machines on each floor. Toiletries include shampoo, conditioner, lotion, makeup remover sheets, and soap. Plenty of towels in room.

Not bad for not being right on the water. Clean room, breakfast. Really don't need much more when visiting the ocean.

Very good place for a good rest.

Stayed here, on April 23, 2018 — Wonderful Restful Nite, Great Breakfast w/Hot Food, Danish, & Juices! We want to Compliment the Manager Doris Nytka for being SO Informative, & Helpful on our next day's Travel Plans! As an observing Customer, we watched how hard she works, it made us tired watching her! She maintained professionalism, & treated others neighborly, & kept the lobby/kitchen spotless! I have always stayed at this Quality Inn while traveling through Oregon but I will never even think about it again. I always pay cash when I come and there has never been an issue before now. They have always been able to give me change with no issues and accept a cash deposit which is always been $100. The new cash deposit is $250 but they also require your credit card in addition to the $250 even if you're paying cash. But they are unable to make change so the manager Linda Club just told me to leave because she was unable to break four $100 bills. The price online was $79 for the night but Miss Linda would not drop the price below $86 for a repeat customer who only stays at this hotel. She was extremely rude, gave no reasoning for asking me to leave except for me inconveniencing her by asking for change. I went across the street to the Super 8 hotel and paid $67 with a $50 deposit and they were delightful and told me that this is not the first time other customers have complained about Linda at the Quality Inn. The room is a large improvement from the Quality Inn as well.

I am a Diamond member and I honestly have to say that the manager and staff are the best that I have had. They have gone above and beyond their duties to make sure my stay is pleasant. They make sure that I have breakfast every morning at 5:45 before I go to work. Eventhough, breakfast isn't until 7:00 am, Doris and the crew have something out for me. I wish that all Choice hotels were like this one. I will stay here for the remainder of my work period.

Clean and safe place, decent parking. My room was a bit cramped with the furniture setup. Manager and staff were so accommodating and helpful with guests. Free USA Today newspapers in lobby. Good off-season rates.

Great hotel with a very nice breakfast. Hotel prices were reasonable and just a short drive from downtown.

Best service I've gotten anywhere. Fantastic, flexible staff. There was always someone there if we needed anything, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Good bed, breakfast and nice staff. The continental breakfast was pretty good with a lot of selections and I loved their baby bagels.

I loved staying here and next time I come down I will absolutely be staying here again. They are very underrated and should be given more credit, I loved my stay here. The people beside us, across from us, and above us were absolutely amazing as well. The woman working the front desk the weekend we were there (I think her name was Dani) was extremely friendly and very sweet. She made sure we enjoyed our stay and always was very sweet and funny whenever she saw us. As well as she was helpful with ideas on venues as to where we should eat at around town.

We were pleased with how friendly everyone was at the hotel. The manager even made reservations for our anniversary at a local restaurant for us. Will definitely stay again if we return.

The hotel is great with well-designed, comfortable rooms and a hot breakfast — price is also very good. The one downside is a lady named Doris that works at the front desk who was extremely rude when I asked a question about the Wi-Fi.

Very easy access. Comfortable, clean rooms and excellent customer service. Recommended very good restaurants and knew the area well and where to go to enjoy the coast.

It was a good motel, inexpensive, great customer service. They just need more than 1 person in the evening, theater was only 1 person and she was trying to do her best. But to much for her. Please add 1 more person to the evening shift.

Amazing service in this new hotel in town. The ladies day and night shifts extremely helpful, professional and polite. They went several times beyond customer service during our 2 day stays. I definitely recommend anyone Quality Inn Seaside.

The room was nice, the staff was pretty accommodating. The issue was that around 9 or 10 at night the people above us began running around their room and jumping up and down. This persisted until 3 AM, at which point I was finally able to fall asleep. I called the front desk 3 times, once at 11, then at 12:45, then again at 1 am, and although the woman seemed like she cared, the guests above sure didnt. I don't want to leave a terrible star rating because it was a very nice hotel, but for 150 a night, I really cannot believe that they didn't offer anything, even a late checkout, after the night we had. I wish I could say better about them.

The staff was superb! They were all very friendly and helpful, especially Dyani. Because of her, we experienced a different side of both Seaside and Cannon Beach. It was a wonderful vacation! Thank you so much.

We had a very nice stay of 2 days/nights at the Quality Inn in Seaside. Everything was new and clean and no musty odor that can be typical at the beach. The beds and bedding was very comfortable and I'm picky about that. Even the free breakfast was more than expected — eggs, sausage patties, waffles, cold cereals, yogurt, fresh apples and oranges, pastries, many coffee choices, very good orange juice, etc. And served from 7 to 10AM. I'm a late riser and I didn't miss out on anything at 9AM. Definitely would stay there again. Sharon.

We came into town a day early without a reservation… first mistake. The only hotel that had any rooms was this one at $300 plus for the night. We didn't have a choice, so checked in only to find that our bathroom had already been used… Gross! Obviously not a fully cleaned room! After calling the front desk, they quickly gave us another room and we stayed overnight without incident. Too high priced for the quality and next to no service. Would not stay at this hotel again and will be much smarter in the future to have a quality hotel lined up for all nights of our stay!

Awesome experience at this hotel… Wonderful staff stayed in room 204 and loved it. We had a great family vacation.

Overall, we had a pretty good experience at this hotel. The room looked recently remodeled with nice charging station with both outlets and USB ports which was handy for three travelers and several electronics to charge. The room was a little small for my liking but we were only there to sleep and shower so wasn't a big deal. Breakfast was rather dull — typical egg disk (likely made from a powder mix), pancake maker, sausage patties, coffee, juice, toast, bagels, etc. The lady that checked us in (I believe her name was Doris) was very knowledgeable about the area and helpful! She gave us several booklets and brochures about the local area and places to eat.

Charged us an arm and a leg for rooms that seem somewhat unfinished. Our bathroom extractor was missing it's vent cover. One of our plugins panels was missing it's face plate. And our TV didn't work right in one of the rooms. Beds and pillows were comfortable though the sheets felt a bit rough. Lighting was hit or miss with one of our rooms having decent lighting and the other not having proper light. The guy who checked us in was really nice though.

If I could rate these scam artist piles of $hit a 0 star I would! I booked a room with these idiots through priceline 2 days in advance, It was confirmed with itinerary number and all booking information, I drove 280 miles to this place with my twin 7 yr old daughters to have 2 days at the beach, when I get there, they claim to have no record of my reservation, so I called priceline and talked to them, they had confirmed it with the motel, then they told priceline that they had no vacancy, after they tried to sell me the room for 135.00 after telling me they has no record of me in their system, they f'n lied to me because they didn't want to give it to me for the price I negotiated for! They broke my little girls hearts and costed me over a 100.00 in gas! I hope your hotel goes under! I ain't just making this review because I have sour grapes, it's because I come into town with hopes of a great vacation with my kids and realize you have no place to stay because all the other motels in town were filled up! These are scammers!

Motel was being remodeled. Asked for syrup for our waffles and the clerk brought out a large jug. We were waiting for our waffles to be ready and noticed bugs all over the syrup. We complained to the front desk and they said thanks for letting them know. I emailed the manager the next day and did not hear back. I emailed Red Lion Corporate and they opened up a case and said I would hear back in 5-7 days. When I didn't hear back, I contacted Corporate a second time. They said to call the motel direct. I didn't bother because obviously they don't care. I also saw a review on YELP that complained of bugs also on the syrup. This post was a day after we stayed there.

The rooms are way outdated, walls are really dirty they have stuff all over. The mattresses are old and noisy. We were expecting something better for $129.00 As we were checking in a guest at the counter was extremely mad had just checked in and demanded he check out emmediately. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

Very. Nicebplace to stay. Clean and priced right. We stay here every time we stay in SeaSide. Front desk people are nice and accodating.

Beware: Satisfaction is NOT guaranteed, nor is it offered! Checked in to a dirty room. We were then switched rooms. Kids wanted to watch television, oh but wait, they don't have the channels they supposedly "offer. " Asked for an extra pillow… not this time, they were out. So, as we all drift to sleep around 10:30P. M. A toddler with a led foot checks in upstairs keeping all of my kids up because she loved to run. Next day, I asked to be switched rooms because of the noise. No way ma'am, their booked. We awoke the next morning at 7:00 A. M. Because our favorite little toddler decided to do some laps and drop some heavy machinery. We call the front desk. 'Allegedly, ' they call upstairs and ask them to quiet down. Well, anyone who has kids knows, toddlers are not easily controlled. This is why, if you want to run a successful hotel, you DO NOT put toddlers on the top floor. This was not the toddler's fault, this was poor planning on the part of the hotel. We booked our hotel through Expedia which did everything in their power to get us a partial refund. Oh, but wait again… you guessed it, the manager said he had already addressed our concerns and refused to give a refund. Expedia then escalated the issue, and again, it was denied by the manager. So, Expedia was awesome and credited $100 to our account. Thank you Expedia! We advise you to spend the extra $20-30/night for a better hotel. Please consider it.
