Meh. Nothing fancy here, and the price hikes during events are outrageous for what you get. I’ll do what I can to take my business elsewhere in the future. $400 for a small room with two double beds, we should have eaten WAY bigger breakfasts!

Customer service at front desk rude! Under the hide a bed couch was dried up pizza and fish crackers! Mainly front desk customer service was rude.

Clean room and friendly staff. Of course the cookies at check in made the experience all the better. Nice view of the water from the 4th floor. Decent fitness center for the hotel size. Standard American continental breakfast with cereal, eggs (scrambled and hard boiled), sausage, make your own waffles, yogurt, bagels/bread, and fruit.

This was a quick overnight stay for us as we traveled North and it was totally worth it. Friendly staff, clean and well sized room, easy check in and check out. Not sure what more you could wish for. Even during breakfast service the staff was very attentive and asked if we were enjoying the food (more or less looking for feedback). I would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the suite that included a kitchen. It was clean and spacious. We loved not having to go out to eat all the time. The view was gorgeous and staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the free breakfast and also took advantage of the 24 hour pool/spa. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an older hotel, but it was nice enough. The staff at check in were very friendly. The room was clean. We were on the 4th floor and were told that we had a great view of the river. We giggled at her version of great view, but honestly it was fine. I would be willing to stay again.

Had a great stay. Kind of pricey but very clean and friendly staff. Never sleep past 6 a. M. And I slept until 9 a. M. Comfy.

Good value for the price and clean and well kept. Breakfast room was clean and well watched. Food was good with good variety. Even being familiar with the area it was difficult to find. Needs better signage.

Great room, view and service for the price, and extremely comfortable bed. Saw deer from our window, though only a short drive to great restaurants, antique stores and Ft. Stevens State Park. Path outside connects to the board walk & river front trolley. And 5 HBO stations. Wish we had stayed longer.

I stayed this past weekend at the Best Western in Astoria Oregon. I have consistently had a good experience with Best Western over the past 10 years so I have made attempts to look for them when I stay. I have always had a clean room with at least the basic. I have not found bugs. Nor does anything look "gross'. I am a Dad and primarily only travel with my family. My wife has Fibromyalgia… so she is VERY sensitive to beds due to joint and back pains. Once more, we have always had consistently good experience for the money. The only need for improvement at my last stay was that the AC did not work very well and would shut off. But we noticed in the middle of the night and I did not feel like calling the front desk. I am sure they would have been responsive because the staff was nice. But we only stayed 1 night, so no big deai.

Not a place I would stay again. Phone in room didn't work, so I had to call front desk from my cell. No cribs available upon arrival, even when called in advance, pillows were horrible. Wifi is supposedly there but when I called twice the password I was given, didn't work. Also, no robes in the rooms, so if your thinking of using the hot tub or sauna, pack your own. Lastly, the blinds do not close, at all! So if you're traveling with kids, be prepared to have them be waken up at sunrise, as it shines right through the window into your eyes. Even at night, the way the lights are positioned outside will make it seem like its 6pm in the room at all times.

Great staff and service, would definitely highly recommend. The location is very nice right in Astoria within about 2 miles of anything you'd want to do in the town. The rooms have a great view over the bay. On my arrival, I was warmly greeted by the staff in a welcoming lobby with a fire and comfy chairs. The staff gave me a great overview of the town and restaurants you can find there as well as a lot of the sights around Astoria worth seeing. In the morning when I had car troubles, the staff, Fred in particular, helped me get a new room before the check in time, and was just very comforting and helpful with looking for mechanics. I would love to return to Astoria someday, and when I do you know where I'll be staying.

The hotel was a really good price for staying during spring break, albeit, it was a Sunday night. Breakfast was included in the price which was great having two kids. It was pet friendly but the pet policy on not allowing dog to stay in room alone was a bit harsh. I was scared to leave our dog in the room while we went swimming even. The pool itself was way too cold, hot tub was not functioning half the time, no towels were available at the pool, sauna needed repairs and was closed during our stay. The location was a little disappointing as you did not really have any good views of the river. You get what you pay for and this was a cheap place to stay.

Great stay. The kids loved the pool area and we loved the awesome breakfast. Only concern was the smell of dog and cigarettes in our room. But we would definitely stay again.

Most amazing hospitality I have ever experienced from a Hotel. Not only were the rooms and facilities immaculate, but the buffet/continental breakfast was top notch! We were in town for a basketball tournament, 10 6th graders, as we all know how they can be. I came out of the pool area to apologize for the noise they were making and the host at the front desks reply was to thank me for bringing them. He was even in the process of baking warm cookies for us that would finish as we went back to our rooms. This place sets a new standard for the industry! Best hotel stay in 10 years! Thank you for the weekend to remember! We will look forward to seeing you next year!

Excellent experience. Really nice hot breakfast options. Great rooms. Price was very reasonable. New hotel with older hotel prices. Employees were amazing and went out of their way to help, most friendly I've seen! I will absolutely be back and recommend to ANYONE!

Hotel was very nice. Staff is friendly. Timmi helped us find a restaurant to eat at. Fred checked us out quickly & was a pleasure to talk to. Our room had a fireplace & hot tub, I highly recommend booking this room if you are going with a significant other. Price was reasonable for a coastal hotel with a hot tub in the room. We will definitely be returning. And… breakfast was great, eggs, biscuits, sausage, oatmeal, pastry, waffle station. There's not really a view on the first floor, but that's not expected. You won't regret staying here.

I’ve stayed here multiple times because of it’s central location to Astoria. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and in my experience well mechanically maintained. The housekeeping staff does a nice job keeping up with the residents. The breakfast is not gourmet, but they do have a good waffle machine and there is always a toaster and bread. The hallway carpeted floors and the hallway walls are dated and show the wear of time and useage. In my particular room, 240, in January the lighting was marginal. The bathroom was poorly illuminated and the motel room could have used an extra fixture or lamp. In June the lighting would be adequate. I’ll stay here in the future again.

I love this place. I stay a 2-3 nights 3-4 times a year. Rooms are clean and comfortable. All the staff I've met so far are helpful and friendly. The location is good for vacationing many nearby places, like Seaside OR, Long Beach WA and course the historic town of Astoria OR.

Spacious rooms and the bedding was so comfortable! Slept like a drunk baby. Location was good; just down the road road from the 4 mile bridge that takes you into Washington. Pool and sauna are open 24hrs to adults. Breakfast was good — sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes; the usual suspects. Overall highly recommend. Also not that busy. Quiet for a hotel of its size.

We recently stayed here while doing a vacation to forage for mushrroms. The staff is amazing here! I was always greeted by everyone be it front desk, house keeping, or the breakfast staff. They went above and beyond. The pool, hot tub, and sauna are open 24hrs which is wonderful for me as I am night owl (10 years on a graveyard shift will do that to you). Their breakfast was very good with many options including gluten free and replenished frequently. They had coffee, juice, tea and hot chocolate 24hrs as well fresh fruit. When I asked about breakfast hours I was given a time but the breakfast staff let me know that I was more than welcome to come in and eat with the staff after breakfast was over if that worked better for me. I kindly declined but that was such a nice offer. The room was very clean. There was some black mold on the window sill, but from my many stays in different hotels all along the Oregon and Washington coast this is to be expected. I will definitely stay here again! The Comfort Inn & Suites is a whole other storey. I would avoid that place at all costs.

I really like staying at this hotel when on business in Clatsop County. It is always clean. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Close to walking path and boardwalk. Comfy beds. I'll come back.

Nice room. Clean. Our room was facing Highway 101 and the lights from the parking lot and hotel sign made is feel like we were in a stadium. The desk clerk told us there were no other rooms available, but the parking lot was half empty and the couple who checked in when we did had their room changed. We have Best Western points, but that doesn't seem to matter. We won't stay here again.

My hubby and I came to Astoria for our anniversary and chose to stay here. Our room was amazing. VERY clean and relaxing atmosphere. Beds were so comfortable and the pillows were AMAZING. Best nights sleep in a long time. Rooms seemed to be sound proof as we did not hear any outside noise which was nice. The continental breakfast was great, and the staff was very friendly. Loved that the pool was open 24 hrs. Would definitely stay here again we were sad to leave.

I was amazed at how luxurious and comfy the room was… Jacuzzi bath tub right in front of the fireplace, window looking out towards the bay, king size bed that was actually comfortable, not like most rock hard hotel beds. The staff was awesome the whole time we were there. What a perfect getaway for the hubby and i! We definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Very nice hotel. The pool is itty bitty, but the hot tub and sauna are nice. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful. The room was a little small for the king bed size and the tub was small, but the fridge in the room was very big and the TV was a nice size. Very nice decor in the room, but there was a bit more hallway noise than is enjoyable. Overall a nice place to stay and a little pricy.

This hotel was clean, quiet, and a good value. The hotel is located within walking distance of several restaurants, and was a quick drive into downtown Astoria. We were just a few minutes from Lewis and Clark National Park, and the overall quality of the hotel was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Loved it, but the prices are absurd. I used points but I still know what the rate was. I want to replace my bed at home with the same type of mattress they have. Some may disagree, but for myself it was the best I've slept in a month. Very very cool staff. Everything was spot on except there prices…

This location has smallish rooms with a beautiful view of the river. It's nestled away so it's easy to miss if you're coming in from the South. There's a wide variety of foods for breakfast and the staff were exceptionally friendly.

Great experience! Called and booked a room when I was about 3 hours away. Came in after midnight and they knew my name and had my room ready! Slept wonderfully! The front desk girl even gave me a map and pointed out things to see! The only thing and it's not a complaint just a heads up the name on the sign of the hotel is different than the name on the internet but don't worry it's the only Best Western in town! Overall great stay, great place and great service!

We love staying here. Staff are very nice. Rooms are spacious, clean and up to date. We personally love the location as we normally are heading out of town to day excursions to Fort Stevens, Cannon Beach, Seaside and many other sights. We are runners and can easily get on the river walk trail and get up to 8 miles in easy without having to stop and go waiting on traffic. It also comes with beautiful views. We will be retuning soon for our third trip to Astoria and this hotel makes visiting Astoria even more fun.

I loved everything about this BW! Great staff, comfy beds, warm pool, and the best breakfast, which includes coffee with flavored creamers, juices, cold cereals, make your own waffles, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cream of wheat, sausages, biscuits and gravy, bagels, muffins, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. Will stay again for sure. Extras: Fresh baked cookies in the evenings, laundry is only $2.00 to wash and $1.00 to dry, sodas and energy drinks in vending machines are expensive so bring your own, the breakfast room gets crowded but I heard the wonderful staff directing people that they could take food back to their room on a tray, or eat in another room upstairs if they wanted to. They clear tables quickly and keep breakfast items stocked well. We especially enjoyed Patty, but the other gal (I didn't get her name) was helpful as well, she offered to get my granddaughter some scrambled eggs without all the cheese and other stuff in it when she saw that she wouldn't eat them. The driveway entrance is a little wierd, you enter through the U-haul place, and it is very dark at night. The sign is small. I'm glad we checked in during daylight hours. Also the sign says Lincoln Inn, which differs from the name on Expedia, which is BW Astoria Bayfront Hotel so this was confusing.

This is a great place to stay in fair weather. Close to town, spotless in the room with an excellent breakfast in the morning. My only problem with this hotel was that a storm blew in during the early hours of the morning and my door rattled like someone was trying to break in. After several attempts to quiet it down I was obliged to stuff a washrag between the door jamb and the door. The next morning when I raised the issue to the desk staff they said they were unable to stop the problem and that I had done the right thing. This is a nice hotel with good furnishings and a very comfortable bed but it might not be the place to stay on a stormy night if you want to sleep the night through. If you do have any problems it's best to speak to supervisors or managers rather than the desk help.

I had family in town over the holidays for an extended time and I am so happy I chose this hotel for their stay. Everything was great — — the room was very comfortable and well maintained, the staff was incredibly accommodating and professional and the daily breakfast was always delicious. The pool and big hot tub were an added bonus. I can't thank the staff enough for making their stay so enjoyable — — they really went above and beyond.

Room without a view for around $100 on a friday night, room was okay nothing special, bed was sort of comfortable, curtains dont close all the way so you get a nice bright parking lot LED light in your face all night. The pool was disgusting felt very dirty when I got out promptly. Hot tub was not hot but jets were ridiculously strong, sauna was a joke. Breakfast was probally the best part decent selection with potatoes sausage eggs and biscuits and gravy, plus cookies at cookies at check in were good. But next time we are in the area we will probally stay somewhere else.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good for a hotel. Staff was very friendly. Only thing went wrong was A/C quit working when we returned around 6 in the evening. Front desk person came up to look at it. Maintenance person was gone for the day she did offer to move us for the night. We declined because we were leaving in the morning.

We chose to stay at the Lincoln Inn because it was one of the few hotels in AstoriaAstoria that is pet friendly. The room was very nice, as was the pool and breakfast in the morning. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Accidentally reserved my room for a day after I wanted to show they were extremely accommodating fixed my reservation we got the jacuzzi room for a romantic night out breakfast is great fireplace is better than Lincoln cities will definitely come here again worth every penny. I have stayed at Chinook Winds seahorse and a couple other motels on the coast I would have to say this one beats them all.

Friendly staff, nice pool and hot tub. Room was clean and of decent quality for the price. Location is somewhat farther from downtown amenities than the other prominent hotel chains, but the rates seem to be lower here. Very enjoyable stay overall.

Let me preface this by saying that we are generally very easy guests to please. Prompt service, a comfortable bed, and a good shower will usually get you most of the way to a 5-star review. In this case, we were in Oregon for our honeymoon. We stayed literally all over the state. Portland, Astoria, Eugene, Salem, Bend, and Corvallis. Most of the places we stayed were sub-$100/night rooms. We visited Astoria earlier in the week, and we loved it so much we decided to return later in the week, and use some of our wedding cash to splurge on a room with a view. The fact that we paid nearly double what we did anywhere else meant we had only slightly higher expectations. Unfortunately, this Best Western was by far the worst experience of the whole trip. We spent the day hiking in the Columbia River Gorge before deciding that we wanted to go back to Astoria to finish out our trip. By the 4pm check-in time, we were ready to get into our room to relax and take a shower before our dinner reservations. We arrived right at the 4pm check-in time, and were told that the room wasn't ready yet. It was suggested that we go take a walk or grab dinner, and they would call when it was ready. No time estimate whatsoever. Thinking it couldn't be too long, we sat in some chairs in the lobby, near the hallway leading to the 1st floor rooms. While we were sitting there, I could hear the maids griping loudly about the workload. One said "It's too much. I'm going.

Stayed here on my recent honeymoon and loved it! The building is beautiful and the rooms are modern and comfortable! The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Complementary breakfast was great and the pool and sauna were excellent fun. Located in the middle of town with a great view of the Columbia River and the Astoria Bridge. My only downside was their driveway and their signs — — — the sign for the entrance was too small and I drove past it almost every time I went back to the hotel and you have to drive through a storage/uhaul area to get to the hotel. If they had their own entrance and a better sign it would help immensely.

Nicest Best Western that I have stayed at. They remodeled it recently and boy did they dump a lot of money into it. Wood doors, granite countertops, beautiful tile everywhere. They also have a 24 hour pool and hot tub that we didn't need because We had a room with a Jacuzzi and a fireplace for the same cost as the hotel rooms downtown that would just have a bed in them. A good free hot breakfast was included as well! The only negatives were that it is about a mile from downtown and the river view is good but probably not as amazing as one of the more expensive downtown hotels. Overall was good choice.

My wife and I stayed one night here in January. We both had a wonderful time while there. We decided to go for a evening swim. We both noticed and commented on the low amount of chlorine in the pool. (Our eyes did not burn a bit — a very low odor from the Chemicals in the pool). We did not think much of it. Packed up, left the next morning. I currently am dealing with styes in both eyes. The styes have been a reoccurring problem since the day after the pool swim. My wife had difficult time with draining the pool water from her ears that night but was able to get her ears clear within 20 minutes of not being back at the room. She came down with a bacterial infection in both ears. Not a head cold. A bacteria from an outside source got into her ear canal and infected her. Gross. I personally believe they are not keeping up on the pool. Swim at own risk.

We had booked the river view Jacuzzi room for 2 days. I just loved every bit of the experience. The service was friendly and prompt. The breakfast was good enough to start the day. They had the crib already set in my room. Thanks guys for making our anniversary vacation perfect.
