Great place for a stay. Rooms are spacious and has gorgeous view of mountains covered in snow from the room. Staff at the front desk are very friendly and welcoming. Value for money and comfort.

I’m highly recommending this Motel. It was such a great and beautiful place for our three day relaxing vacay. What an Amazing customer service by friendly staff! Loved the room. Will definitely visit this again in future. Really impressed!

Wouldn't stay there again. Given the look of some of what I assume were full time renters, I wanted to be armed. Sink, toilet, and shower in same room. Shower leaks. No vanity. Bed was ok. Quieter than I expected. That's why 2 stars.

Remodel coming along nicely. Too many dogs rubbed against the new doors and walls. Giving it a dirty look on the lower half of noce white doors.

The name is totally misleading — it is nowhere near a lake, let alone has any sort of view. Water comes out yellow/brown. Other than that, it's an acceptable little place.

We were driving from Vegas back up to Seattle. It wa slate at night and this was the only available motel within miles. We are very conscious about bed bugs and found none. I was very pleased with the room. It had a pull out couch for our daughter and bed my husband and I slept in was huge. I wish we could have stayed a little longer, but we had to head back to Seattle.

The motel is obviously in the process of being updated; construction materials are everywhere. The desk clerk was very courteous and helpful and had a cot in the room for my daughter as we had requested. The room had been updated and was suitable for the night, but had not been cleaned very well. The table was very dirty and the bathroom had dead ants all over, as well as a dirty toilet that didn't flush. We informed the housekeeper and she stayed that the plumbing was always bad in that room. It was okay for us, but $100 was way overpriced for something that was basically a summer camp dormitory room.

Rooms were well kept and neat and the price is reasonable for the room.

Zero stars. This place Instantly gave us a bad feeling. When we arrived it was under major renovation/construction work. The grounds were trashy looking. What appeared to be long term residents (all men) were sitting around outside their rooms staring us down as though we were intruding on them. Some even drew back their curtains to stare. It was one of the most uncomfortable scenarios ever. When we requested a cancellation of our reservation we were vehemently denied solely on policy. Our concerns four safety & well being wasn’t their concern. We never checked in or used the facilities. They had 4 other similar rooms still vacant, so no debt or cost was incurred by them. They didn’t care about out hardship of paying for another room that we would feel safer & more comfortable in. Hospitality wasn’t their goal, just pure greed. False advertising & lack of details to snag a customer was their goal. I wouldn’t sent my worst enemy to this dump.

Where to start this was the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. I changed rooms 3 times. The first room had a hole in the bathtub covered by a mat that had black mold underneath. The second room had ants everywhere and the third room had a heater that didn't work correctly plus ants and the water looked yellow when I filled up the bathtub. My car was the better option.

Great location with a very friendly staff. The motel is under some needed room renovations. The newly renovated rooms look great! Good Wi-Fi signal across the property.

Good deal for the accommodations. Clean and convenient!

Bathroom was extremely crowded with towel racks in the way when you first walk in. Nice TV tho. Very hard beds.

Water pressure near zero. But a pretty good motel in a pretty tired town.

I'm giving this place 2 stars only because it was under construction. Breakfast is not included. And when I was about to take shower No water pressure. Disappointed when I wanted to shower and no water pressure just dripped. B.

The room was absolutely filthy. I don't know how they can justify keeping things in such a poor condition. If I could give negative stars I would. The carpet was stained dirty and had human and animal hair everywhere. The toilet was dirty. All the handles where sticky and everything that people touch (remote, keys, switches) had clearly not been cleaned in a long time. The sheets were rough and stained. The blanket was covered in stains and dirt. I regret paying for the room rather than sleeping in my car. The latter would have been preferable.

Stay here every time we come to visit our son. Price is right. Rooms are nice and spacious. Also clean owners are very nice people. So if you want to save $$$$. I highly recommend lake view Lodge.

Great service, great price, bed was a little too hard.

It may not look all that on the outside, but the room was very, very nice (except the bathroom walls need painted). The price was alot less than I would expect that room to cost. The desk clerk was efficient & friendly Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

Great value! Newly remodeled room. King bed with sleeper sofa for $70, including tax. Very clean and charming. Great retro feel with very accommodating customer service. I wish every town had a hotel like this!

Old tear down hotel. Not nice beds. Nice people who runs place.

This place tried to say I stole their disgusting comforter and charged me $50. Worst place to stay in Lakeview. Crumbs of food in the drawers the maid came I'm while I was in the shower and proceeded to talk to me while showering. Hot tub was slimy. No clocks in the rooms.

The room was clean. It has the nicest parking lot hot tub I've ever been in.

Cheap. That's about the only positive. Friendly staff, but rooms are dirty and run down. The place looks like a military compound.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke, despite being a "non-smoking room". The water smelled gross and the bathroom was horribly out-dated, with a tiny sink that barely works and a toilet that does not look at all clean.

Reasonably priced clean rooms with great service. I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in Lakeview.

We opted for a motel instead of camping and stumbled on this property. We where very pleased with the decor — there are painted 70s-style rafters that make the ceilings appear higher, tiled bathrooms and appliances such as microwave, mini-fridge, etc. All this set at a 4, 800 foot mountain town makes for a very relaxing stay. Also having wireless internet that actually works is a nice plus. This isn't the Ritz by any means but perfectly functional for one-night stop over.

The reviews proclaiming this as a nice hotel are several years old. Obviously ownership has changed hands in that time. Without a doubt, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are tiny, Haven't been updated since the early 70's probably. The place is dirty, the parking lot is a mess, trash etc just piled up. The hand rails on the stairs are about ready to fall off. The owners are very nice people, they are foreigners and I think that maybe this sort of a hotel would be above average in their country. Even the lobby area that they occupy smells very bad.
