We called to Golden West Motel today and was blessed to find this lovely and clean motel with the best hospitality! We had a long day of travel through Nevada and smoke from fires… we found this beautiful motel to stay in that made us feel safe and at home! Thank you! Clean and updated room with microwave, fridge, working quiet AC and beautiful bathroom and shower!

Adorable motel! Louisa the owner was very kind and sweet, stayed up late to let us into our room after a long drive. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, and the fresh flowers were a nice touch! Would come back.

Loved the hosts! Super helpful when we checked in. Gave us lots of recommendations for local food. Their dog and cat were even friendly. Room had a fresh flower and everything! Definitely will keep it in mind if we're passing back through.

Can't add much more than previous reviews. Very clean, like-new rooms. Everything has a little special touch. The nice room layouts, the bathroom fixtures, real china coffee cups with real spoons and a glass jar of good coffee. Attractive outdoor areas to sit and relax. Owners on site and very friendly. We'll be sure to arrange our next trip to stay here along the way.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are well kept, cozy and clean. The lady who runs the place is very kind and funny! She cracked us up when we were checking in. It's a little bit hard to see from the highway, but it's a great place to take a break from the road.

The room was extremely clean and we'll kept, the grounds were cozy and inviting, the owner of the hotel is also who cleans and runs the location, she is the most kind and welcoming woman that I have ever encountered! Free Wi-Fi, lots of great channels on the tv, amazingly comfortable beds. My children loved playing with the dog on the grounds, the owners live on site… as do their lovely pets.

Your stuff is safe, room is clean, bed comfortable, coffee to die for. The best.

From Utah through Nevada to our first stop at Klamath Falls, Oregon. The first of 3 total hotels this trip. In this case, we won't be saving best for last.   I will preface my reviews with the following information that will be reflected in my ratings. 1) I have OCD; cleaning guest, hotel, inn, and motel rooms  before bringing in luggage is standard. 2) OCD also means every room is also inspected for pests and parasites; ex bedbugs, fleas, ect. 3) I have dogs, and I am no less OCD about them. 4) I have moderate to severe chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain (aka I do not travel well). 5) I have SPD, so minor things no one notices are a huge problem for me. 6) I also have a lot of allergies (other people's pets, most soaps, some detergents and almost all fabric softeners to name a few. With that out of the way, I will proceed with the review. Over 11 hours of brutal non-stop driving. By the time we arrived I was suffering immensely. Between the stress of travel, my lower back locking up, my sciatica on fire, to my dry and scratchy eyes from too little sleep there was nothing I wanted more than to relax. The room we got was an adequate size, well maintained with amenities such as a mini fridge and a microwave The bathroom had a large shower, small mirror, and a small sink. Two queen beds, for my sibling and I, were ready and waiting. I find comforters repulsive allergin reservoirs as they are rarely, if ever, washed so I ask they never be put on the beds.

My husband Gary and I didn't have a clue as to where we should spend the night. An out of town realtor we were talking to on the phone told us where he stays, we said we'd give it a try. When we arrived kind of latish the owner was all ready for us as the realtor"Bruce"had called her. Our room was spotless, everything smelled fresh and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and the price was very good. Next time we visit Klamath falls area we will stay at "The Golden West Motel… " Thanks Louisa for such a memorable stay at your Motel and to Bruce the realtor for all your advice and help…

Received a warm welcome. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner is super helpful. I'd stay there again. Highly recommended.

Comfortable beds. Shower with features useful for a physically disabled person like myself (although it might be improved even further with a non-slip mat). Friendly and accommodating staff. Guests are given a large clear map of the local area and any place they may wish to visit, or is recommended by the staff, is highlighted for them. Clean rooms with a lot of little decorative touches. Set back from the road so that the traffic noise is not too loud. Also quieter because it is out of the main city center. There is a nice little garden outside the office with places to sit, eat or chat. Recommended.

A lovely little hotel. The owners were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and my dog was welcome even on short notice. We will be back the next time we do a road trip down to California.

We are budget motel travelers. This is by far a must stay if you are in Klamath Falls. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. The owner is sweet and amazingly eager to accommodate every need for your stay. The beds and pillows are super comfortable, and the room we had was large and had a surprise mini kitchen, complete with a large fridge, stove, and mini oven, (old school, you need to see to believe! ) pots, pans, dishes, utensils, full size coffee pot, real coffee cups and even a wine opener and glass wine glasses. Can it get any better?. Believe me travelers, don't miss out on this jewel. Pet friendly too!

We were so happy to have found this lovely, clean and friendly place to stay. I was so tired from driving all day and it took way to long to get a take out dinner. But when we opened the door to our room and found fresh flowers and a quilted bed cover, I felt relaxed and comfortable. We will stay here every year on way to see family. Amazing hosts!

The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and VERY cozy. It's a small family owned property and I highly recommend it if you like a nice, quiet property. There are several places to eat and shop close by, of anything is needed. The owners impressed me very much with their kindness and made us feel very welcome. I will be back to stay here again! A+!

Super friendly staff. Had a large clean double queen room. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee were all included.

Clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly. Our room was facing the road, but the noise wasn't noticeable enough to prevent us from sleeping well. Service was really friendly and helpful. The person at the front desk stayed up past 11 so that we could check in late.

The room was amazing and the owners are fantastic. It's small, privately owned, competitively priced, and perfectly clean. I know where I'll be staying every time I'm in Klamath Falls from now on.

It was very clean. The rooms were freshly painted bathrooms redone, lots of hot water, quiet, comfortable beds, nice soft smooth sheets, very nice for the price!

The owner was very friendly and helpful. They responded immediately to our needs and recommended a local place for breakfast. I took a star off because the Wi-Fi wasn't working when we were there. Everything else was great. The room was clean and comfortable, with a microwave and fridge. The heater kept the room plenty warm.

Louisa bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with my lodgings. Everything was clean, cute and homey. Anytime I end up here in the future, I will be sure to see if I can stay here again. Call ahead, they are busy!

We stayed in two rooms for two nights, but they were a week apart. It was on our way to Eastern Oregon going up then going back. Louisa, the owner with her husband, is amazing! They went out of their way to make sure we had the right room for our 3 big dogs and for our daughter, son-in-law, and baby granddaughter. Rooms were VERY clean and roomy. The beds were more comfortable than some other high priced hotels I've stayed in. I had work to do online, so she made sure I had a Wi-Fi connection, and it was fast. If you don't need pools and a fitness room, but a GREAT night's sleep in a very nice motel… stay at Golden West.

No pool, no free breakfast, no covered parking. What it does have is very caring owners, comfy beds, and lots of hot water in the cleanest place you have ever been at. Superb value for the modest cost. I will only stay here if it is available.

My Mom and I stayed there for three nights. My daughter was getting married in Klamath Falls. They are so incredibly attentive and even remember your name when they see you walking around! The rooms are clean, frig, microwave, flat screen tv. And she will bring a coffee pot with coffee, sugar. If you want it. Will definitely stay there again.

Clean room and fair price. Golden west is really clean, I never be in motel room with good smell, but golden west has it.

Was there for 1 night. First time in Klamath falls. Super nice owners. They spent over 1/2 hour showing me where my meeting was, great place for breakfast and dinner. We I got back that evening he came out to make sure I didn't get lost and every thing was o. K. Great place to get a good night sleep. I would go there any time I an in that area.

We stayed three nights while visiting local national wildlife refuges — — a very convenient location from which to reach all the Klamath Basin refuges. Owners Vincent and Luisa were super friendly and helpful — — you couldn't ask for better service or cleaner rooms. Granted it's not a five-star hotel or fancy resort, but the rooms are spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and had everything we could possibly need (microwave, refrigerator, TV with cable, table for playing games, large closet, clean bathroom with beautifully tiled walk-in shower, and faster Wi-Fi than we have at home). The rooms are also surprisingly large with an unexpected amount of floorspace. Very friendly and accommodating hosts with first-rate service. A delightful and satisfying stay.

Sweetness in Klamath Falls, Oregon! My husband and I stayed for ten days at this family owned motel while on business. Vince and Luisa are the friendliest people and truly care about their customers and their motel. They address you by your first name which makes you feel truly at home and they take time out of their busy schedule to visit. The rooms have been updated, are very clean and well kept. They do their own cleaning and it is spotless! The motel is located at the east end of town. It is a single story hotel so you don't have to worry about people above you. Our room was very quiet, relaxing and away from the street. We felt like we were in a studio apartment. Home away from home! The price was very reasonable. There is a microwave oven, refrigerator and we got a daily newspaper. They even furnished us with a 12-cup coffee pot, coffee, sugar, filters and two big mugs. We will stay here again because this motel truly is Klamath Falls BEST KEPT SECRET.

My dad and I were on our yearly motorcycle ride, headed for Crater Lake. After a long day of riding we found this gem. The owners were super nice, clean rooms and affordable. They even have a very friendly dog name Franchesca. Highly Recommend. If you like motorcycles the owner knows his bikes.
