Price was more than fair. Staff is amazing (thank you Michael)! Rooms are cozy. I’ll definitely be back!

Me and my Husband stayed here for two nights, we did not have Wifi or Cable this was room 22… we have asked kindly that they fix it and the owner said they did all they could, we had to be in that noisy room with noise above us all night people moving furniture at 2AM, the loud fridge, cars pulling in and out and no TV! we asked him the next day and he still said could not do anything. He never bothered to move us to a new room when I checked he had many rooms available, never gave us a discount for that, no money back! this was the worse place ive stayed at. The staff/owner basically ignored us, we paid for a room which includes Wi-Fi and CABLE and did not get either, I do not recommend this there were other tenants asking for money from us, the room was not clean there was flies dead flies on the shelves, housekeeping lady was very strange she kept staring at us in the kitchen, then, staring at us through window outside… I believe this is Discrimination because of how we are and looked and how others got Wifi and Cable yet we had to stay in a dirty room with loud furniture moving, and nothing to do. We will never come back. This place was not clean, is not taking covid-19 precautions at all either, things are not sanitized like the site says or cleaned daily after guests.

wrote one on their website also taken down. So I will try again. do not waste your money here. It is a joke! if I would have had the option to switch to a different place while in florence I would have in a heartbeat. I'll try and make it short… since it'll most likely be taken down again the bathroom was NOT clean. Outlet did not work, lots of water damage around the "shower". The shower was VERY small and dark, with no way for the light to even get to it. No where to put soaps while taking shower. Shower head was WAY TOO LOW, me and my fiance had to crouch down to even use it. Had to ask THREE times for towels and ended up having to get them ourselves. However guess that is what you get when your housekeeper is tweaked out. the bed was probably the same one put there when they opened in the 30's. Very old and uncomfortable with springs in your back the whole night. Yay! but why not top it off with dirty sheets and blankets, even come with a side of fresh blood on them. (thankfully we brought out own like we always do). after not sleeping all night from the bed and from the heat since your room has no AC, you get to get up and NOT have a cup of coffee in your room. Since there is no coffee maker! or microwave. don't worry though, you can go to the kitchen and have some coffee, and chose from 2 things for breakfast.

Very nice staff and make you feel very welcome.

Just paid $106 for a room here — NO CABLE. Should have been mentioned at check in. Very unhappy.

Just wanted a quiet place out of town. This was all we expected and more. First of all the staff were very friendly and accommodating to all their guests. I loved that even a few problematic guests were treated kindly and respectfully. The atmosphere is vintage and homey and you instantly feel like a guest in a friend's home. Rooms were clean and quiet. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. The lobby and front offered benches and chairs for resting and visiting, in addition to providing books, games and puzzles for you to use. Complimentary coffee, cocoa and tea are available in the lobby. Convenient location is within walking distance of Old Town and other helpful locations like Dairy Queen. I would highly recommend this place for a comfortable, affordable vacation accommodation or even a nice place for a "staycation". We will definitely be back. Perfect place for those wanting a simple, quiet, no frills place that feels like staying with a friend.

We booked a room here and checked in earlier today. Right away, we were underwhelmed. I get that it's an old building. But that is no excuse for the dusty, dirty ambiance. We got to our room, that, for some reason, the key had been left under the doormat the night before (? ). She said that apparently, the people who booked the room never showed up? Made me uneasy. Anyway, once we went into the room, we were very uncomfortable. It was DIRTY… as in: bedspread had stains. The carpet wasn't vacuumed, the shower curtain had mold, the floor around the toilet was dirty, and there were dead bugs (and possibly eggs? ) on the windowsill. It smelled old. I could have overlooked most of it, but when my kids socks were FILTHY dirty from walking on the carpet without shoes, that was the last straw. I will say, when I went to check out, the front desk lady didn't argue with me or make us explain. She refunded my money and we went on our way. I would never, ever stay here again and would highly recommend you look elsewhere. Or, set your standards extremely low. Its unfortunate.

This was a cute little place to stay. While it didnt have much for amenities we would stay here again.

It's adorable and walking distance to cute places, as well as the hotel is perfect price. Bathroom shower is for shorter people, just heads up. There's coffee in the lobby, first floor had doors that went to the lobby and parking lot, which was convenient. Great price for no frills, but clean place.

Our room was nice and cozy. The staff was very cheery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Price and location was great, no ac, and carpets were pretty gross. Otherwise they cleaned daily and had some charm.

We stayed in the spooky attic room which they called a 'suite'? Bathroom repairs & cleaning needed… dirty, peeling paint; water damaged wall… we didn't want to touch anything. The beds were comfortable and the sheets seemed new, however queen-sized sheets were put on our king-sized bed. Of course the 'too small' elasticized bottom sheet would not stay put… we had to re-make the bed ourselves at mid-night. The fridge had not been defrosted since 1971. We will not stay at the Lighthouse Inn again.

Helpful staff, but we did not get the room we'd reserved and the hotel wasn't what we'd expected.

We arrived to find out the new manager was staying in the room we'd booked. Thus we were downgraded to a room with no kitchen. The room was small but otherwise just fine. The teen girl working there was very helpful and gave us a coffee pot to heat our baby bottles with (boil a pot, then soak cold bottle to warm it up). Overall it was a warm bed to sleep in but the execution was botched.

Staff definitely could brush up on their people skills and being professional. They weren't rude but it wasn't anything special. They should also have a smoking area that isn't the front doorway or where in can go into guests rooms.

We rented two rooms for my birthday, people up stomping and yelling at 2am. Called manager twice and an hour later still stomping and yelling "party". I will never stay here again and I will make sure I tell all my friends to stay away.

The Lighthouse Inn remains a treasure to the Oregon Coast. While the Inn is older & continues to be updated. It’s combination of excellent location, comfort, country charm & glowing hospitality make this one tough to beat.

It's a warm friendly motel. Very inexpensive, but the staff is awesome!

"Only future friends stay here" greets you as you enter, and it was true. Charming foyer with a fire and homey antique Christmas decorations. Very cool and super spacious bedroom with 2 king beds and fun furniture from an earlier time. Slept so well. Such friendly staff. This stay was a highlight of the trip.

I really like this inn, the people are so friendly, my room met my needs and was warm and cozy, they are even pet friendly and very clean. Reasonably priced. I will stay again and strongly recommend.

Sadly, one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Room next door had a dog that barked all night and the Internet never worked. Shower head was so low, it was chest height and I was overcharged for my room and never reimbursed. I would not recommend this place nor ever stay here again. Good luck!

This is an old Historic Hotel with simple rooms and no frills for the most part. It is very inexpensive and you get what you pay for. I thought I was getting a room with a microwave and refrigerator but I was wrong. My room face the street so there was traffic noise all night from the main road that it sits on. A little paint would help. There are rooms in the back and some have balconies the staff is very friendly and courteous. It is in a good location for touring the Old Town section of Florence and it is nearly on the river. There is Cafe at one end so you don't have to go far for breakfast or lunch.

Thank you Chris & Jamie… you made are stay great… during a stressful time… we so appreciate everything you did during the time we were waiting to sign for our home… being in between houses can get a little crazy… but you guys made it easier and less stressful… thank you and we highly recommend the Light House Inn… very friendly and welcoming…

We love the Lighthouse Inn! Stayed here for the first time there years ago and have been back annually around the time of our anniversary. Quaint, simple, quiet, hospitable, and affordable. We are already looking forward to being back next year.

This place is quaint and beautiful with a friendly staff. The best part for me was the super soft beds. If given the chance, I would stay here again. I hope they don't change a thing. I love all the little trinkets and baubles and decor. It makes for great family fotos, and adds to the whole experience.

It's cheap and they allow dogs, plus it's walking distance from town. However, the building needs repairs, calling it a kitchenette is a little generous when it's really just a plug in double burner that doesn't even bring water to a boil and a mini fridge in a separate area of the room. We couldn't figure out how to get the hot water to work in one of the showers and our headboard was so loose that we had to scoot it a whole foot away from the wall at 2 am because it would tap the wall every time we breathed. However, worth what we paid.

It's quaint and has a real bathtub. For the price it is reasonable. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls, but it's clean. The beds are too firm for me, but not the worst I've slept in.

Completely charming, reasonably-priced, eclectic little place, adjacent to a cafe/bakery, a short walk from Old Town and a free shuttle ride away from the casino. We stayed in two adjoining rooms comprising the sweet "family suite", with a little balcony and shared bathroom, very cute quarters and plenty of room for four friends. In the morning there is tasty complimentary coffee available in the lobby, and they do a great job of keeping it hot and replenished. Grab a cup, pull up a sit-down on a couch next to the fire, and flip through a book about lighthouses as you watch through the picture window at the fog rolling past. I'd go back in a heartbeat and definitely recommend!

We loved the ambiance of this quaint historic inn! Don't come here if you want ultra-modern rooms, but if you want a vintage experience with a really awesome staff, this is the place for you. Easy walk to the Old Town too.

We stayed in the deluxe rooms that had a window to the back, so we could get some fresh air without the noise from 101. Fresh air is needed as the whole room was pretty must. Everything in the room is very old, and it would even be charming ff some basics were not so run down. The mattress should've been replaced years ago, the pillow and blanket were smelly. Otherwise, the room was clean. But the bed pretty much ruined our night. Would not stay here again.

It was the first night on Oregon Coast trip for my family and we were in this place 10 o'clock in the night. The shower head in the bathroom was leaking bad enough to let us give up our shower, and sink to wash hands was on the carpet in the room. No microwave, no coffee maker… that's OK. It was after midnight for me to find a bug on the bed when I was ready to sleep. At first, I thought it was a roach, and tried to get rid of it from the bed. And I found a bigger one, and another one… They were showing up from the bed head. That's it. The front desk was closed till 7 in the next morning according to the woman who checked us in. I took some pictures of the bugs (I believe that they are bedbugs. ), and made a note to the owner. When I left the note and keys on the front desk, a woman showed up from the inside of the office. I explained her what happened, and she gave me the copy of voided charge of the room. And… my family were on the street at 2 o'clock in the morning. What makes me upset is the fact that they charge on my card this morning again. I totally don't understand how and why they are doing this kind of business. Also, the 7.4 point score they got on the web is a kind of mystery to me, either. I called them this morning, but the manager will be in the office after 3 in the afternoon, and the guy (Jenny? ) said he can do nothing about this matter. Great customer service!

The hotel is definitely solid as in you get the basics that you need, for cheap, and close to town/ocean. It even has this quirky fun vibe to it… except the hotel charged me $30 more than they said they would and charged me another $78 a month after my visit. I've tried calling the owner for the last two months and he's somehow never available. Alsk just a couple of days ago I finally was able to go down to Florence and I decided to stop in there on my way out of town. I asked the clerk if the owner was in and if not could he leave a message for him… well within two minutes of explaining what happened, the clerk called the cops on me! … I strongly suggest that you pay the extra $10-$15 and stay else where!

What a wonderful historic Inn. The innkeeper were very helpful and nice. When our heater wouldn't go off right after we got there she moved us to one of the inner rooms which was like night and day from being near the road. No road noises at all. It was very nice and quiet. They were very friendly and the cafe next door was the best and had wonderful gluten free food. We will be eating here every time we come from now on. And the Inn is where we will stay. A five star in our minds.

I've been using Google reviews for years and this place is what finally got me to make one of my own. I am absolutely baffled at this absolute dump having a 3.5 star rating. I've traveled extensively and stayed at hundreds of hotels and this is the second worse I've ever experienced. The front desk attendant was surly at best. The rooms are in desperate need of maintenance, cleaning and updating. Honestly the place would best be served by gutting it. I can't place the smell, but it's pungent and even with the door open to the outside I have a headache from the odor. The shower is coated in mildew. The wallpaper is hanging from the walls. The carpet and upholstery are filthy. And the walls and ceiling are either unbelievably thin or there is a herd of elephants occupying the rooms above and around us. The heater is coated in a mix of rust and some manner of filth, I momentarily turned it on and due to the smell immediately turned it off. If I had the budget or was granted a refund, I would have turned around after a minute and found another hotel. I'm all for budget accommodations, for retro or even outdated but this place is none of these. I'm truly not picky and am basing my expectations on literally hundreds of other hotel experiences. This place is dirty, smelly, loud and incredibly uncomfortable. Again, I can't fathom how this place doesn't have a one star rating.

I and my son, Luke, stayed four nights at the Lighthouse Inn in Florence, Oregon (May 9-13, 2016). The rooms were cozy and clean. The decor was lighthouse-coastal sweet. The real asset of the Lighthouse Inn is the kindness, helpfulness, and warmth of their staff. Our hats are off to Chris, Jamie (the Guy), Becky, and Jamie (the Gal). Thank you for making our time lovely.

Strongly disliked this place. Over priced, dated rooms that were poorly maintained. Thin walls… extremely thin walls. No staff after 11pm which meant we couldn't switch rooms and we had to suffer the entire night next to very inconsiderate neighbors.

We stayed one night at the light house inn and honesty it wasn't so bad. It's comfortable, the staff was very nice, and we had a pleasant nights stay. Its older. So with that in mind it was comfortable. It's central location made for a fun evening if walking around taking in the sights and sounds of the area. Quite possibly will stay there again.

We called and made a reservation for a room with our dog, and were told they accepted dogs and someone would be available until 11pm. On our arrival at 10:30 no one was there and we were greeted with an extremely vulgar attendant who told us they didn't accept dogs and closed the door on us.

Stayed 2 nights, I had stayed there before and thought it was a bit old but quaint. This stay was not so pleasant. I paid cash and was charged on my card as well, when I called the front desk at noon to let them know that I had just checked my bank account and seen that I was overdrawn 100.00 due to the transaction the first remark from the VERY rude man was " check out is 11 and it's noon" that is when my feathers were ruffled and I informed him that I had paid CASH for 2 nights not one. They did apologize and return my money, which I had to drive 100 miles round trip to put into my bank account. I thought an offer for a free night voucher was in order or at least a half price night?

Stayed in this hotel/motel last weekend. The lady "Jennifer" at the reception was courteous, polite & made multiple follow ups when we were getting delayed for our check in. She suggested multiple options & gave suggestions to roam around in Florence. We booked the family suite. The rooms were pretty big, spacious & clean. The flooring was a little old but it appeared well maintained & was worth the price we paid for it.

Poor service at front desk, double charged, not refunded when told I would be. Room stinks, no fan in window, 20 feet from the highway. Mold in shower stall, tissue holder fell off the wall… Made me return the remote to front desk? not much else to say.

Nice place. I really liked my room for three and two small dogs. The bed was comfy to. Staff super nice and rooms well kept. Will stay again we had fun.

We have stayed several times. The staff is very friendly, the rustic look of the place is darling. They are pet friendly, Is our first choice when we go to visit daughter in Florence.

Historic building so it has a nice older feel and look. Rooms are obviously old in door sizes, noise leaks and the like. Nicely comfortable beds though as well as very friendly staff that hand out tokens to Mo's when they are available! No continental breakfast since they aren't a big chain but located close to many food stores/restaurants. I'd stay here again.

Do not trust the staff in the inn. I called the hotel and cancelled reservation three days before the arrival but they charged one night. They did not gave me instruction that the cancellation could be made through travelhero when I called. When I appealed for the wrongly made charge, the person who answered the phone told me that he did not remember answering the phone. Later they offered a gift certificate which is no value to me at all. Since I have not been there I do not know about quality and facilities.

While perhaps not the most modern inn around, this place is clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and helpful. Close to Florence's Old Town, it's conveniently located. You can get around without a car by riding the "Rhody Bus", which is scheduled weekdays 10 am — 6 pm.
