Comfortable and such a welcoming staff…

Booked their executive king suite thinking surely their nicest room would be worth the $250+/night. No bellhop or valet service on property. After checking in notice room is unusually warm but turn on AC and assume maybe it was just a setting. Headed downstairs and found out both the pool and jacuzzi on property are not functioning. (Front desk staff was very kind and offered us some restaurant credit as compensation) After spending the evening out return to a room that is still warm, so we turn the AC down to 60⁰ hoping it'll help. Woke up around 3am in sweltering heat from the room. Cracked open patio door, thank goodness it was cold last night. Also elevator can be heard running from about 5am on. Would not recommend this property.

The hotel itself is okay. Housekeeping needs are HORRIBLE. Thus the staff is not trustworthy when you request housekeeping needs.

Extremely nice hotel. Definitely a four Star plus hotel. Staff is wonderful and will tend to your needs immediately. Big rooms and the restaurant and bar are very nice.

This hotel is lavish but not too over the top. It's still got some of it's old heritage while maintaining a modern atmosphere. The room was comfortable and the staff went well above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend this place for any length of stay.

Good service but bad coordination and Alfred service. Food tasting was good but the actual event food was not anywhere close to what was tasted. Not all items were brought out during the event and very rude bar tenders. Could have made the event more pleasant and better but they would not try to do that. They will be very nice before the event but on the date of the event they will try their very best to cut corners every where possible.

For $200+ I was disappointed. My bathroom had a barely patched hole in the ceiling, smelled of urine that could not be remedied and AC never cooled room below 78. Very little air circulating at all. Bed was good. Closet had a rod so low only shirts could be hung and safe had been removed. No tub rooms available so took a shower room with a curtain that did not go down far enough. Water all over floor. Only 1 drawer in room. I guess this was for just an overnight stay but I was stuck here for several days. Pool was nice and accommodation for parties was nice but again so hot you sweat continually. Food was ok but not great.

I stayed at the Renaissance Waterford for 4 days because of an event we hosted in their meeting rooms. The banquet staff was absolutely AMAZING but the hotel rooms were horrible. No water pressure and the smell coming up from the drains was unbearable. I had to flush the toilet a minimum of 6 times just to get it going. The front desk guy with the braids (overnight) was super rude and good for absolutely nothing, but if you want to book their meeting rooms I would say 5 stars! Banquet staff and food was on point for all 4 days.

This location was refurbished in 2015, so it's new and really nice! Their theme is "energy" being in OK. There are nice little design touches everywhere you look reflecting this theme. Bar/restaurant was nice with a decent selection of menu items. The room I had didn't have a desk, so that's a one star deduction for me, but overall this was an excellent hotel.

We stayed at the Renaissance Waterford for a couple nights for a wedding — — the couple had gotten a block there. Overall we were incredibly pleased with our stay, the room, and the staff. Our only dissatisfaction came from small-ish things like old facilities, breakfast, and a booking mixup. I called them last minute to try to still get a room at the block (and block rate). The lady on the phone was so nice and was able to get me a room. In fact, we looked online the next day and they were completely booked up. Check in and the room were fine. We could tell the building was old but they seemed to have done some remodeling, so the lobby and rooms didn't seem old at all. In fact the room was really nice, the bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was very modern. There's a restaurant and bar by the lobby, and a nice outdoor pool area. There's also a gym with a Whirlpool that smelled of mildew and chlorine. The staff really go above and beyond. I was in a bind helping with the wedding because I had forgotten some stuff at home, but they were able to help me out. I'm so thankful! Also the bartender kept the bar open a little longer when we got back from the wedding to help us keep the party going. The only negatives were a couple things that were individually relatively small. I think there was a mix-up, and one of the rooms in our party ended up with three people and a king bed. There's a nice sofa but the hotel didn't even have extra blankets.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed out stay at the hotel, and had no issues at all. Location is a little far away from the popular downtown tourist areas, but is still an easy drive to get to them. We were there as a part of a group for a wedding, and our group really enjoyed what the hotel had to offer. There was great breakfast, a good size bar, and a nice back porch to hang out at night with a few drinks. We didn't use the outdoor pool, but it was one of the best hotel pool areas that I've seen. I would certainly recommend.

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Clean. Service is phenomenal. Friendly staff. Limited elevators, but otherwise no complaints.

I have stayed here several times. They have finished renovations. My main complaint is the elevators; one was down the whole time (and apparently had been down for some time) and the other one felt like it was going to break. The staff is very friendly and helpful. UPDATE 5/6/18 — Both elevators are working now.

Excellent rooms, excellent staff and great facilities. Easy drive to downtown Oklahoma made better by free on site parking. Loved our stay!

We attend Easter Brunch at the Waterford every year and love it every time! Great selection of food, very nice and attentive staff, and a beautiful atmosphere to dine in. We look forward to it every spring!

Very nice hotel! It's clean, 5 star service, and amazing hospitality! I am giving 4 stars for 2 reasons. I hate the parking situation. I travel 80% of the time, I am a woman, so I have more than a lots duffel… I have several bags, computer, hanging clothes etc… It's a jog to the parking lot around the back of the building, and the parking lot and the walk to it is DARK, and it's always full. It's a BIG DEAL for me, so much that I will not stay here again. The other reason is the coffee in the room… this is minor but it's a big deal when your on the 7th floor and they give you 2 little creamers. Every day this frustrated me because I would forget to grab more or ask for more. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is amazing, bar, breakfast perfect! Just be warned about the parking situation!

Rooms were great but they had horrible customer service. Very young kids, too busy flirting with each other to take care of customers. In the morning they had a large buffet set with no attendants. No signs anywhere stating you would have to pay to eat at it. Me and my spouse got a box of cereal to take with us and a glass of orange juice each. As we were leaving we were stopped by an employee stating we had to pay for the buffet, $30 for both of us! I told them they could have the cereal back we didn't see any attendants and did not realize this. They made us pay. We asked for manager, another young kid who did not care. They said if we took stuff off of it we had to pay for it. At this point, needing to get to our event and now running late, we said fine and paid. After the fact we contacted the hotel manager and then the corporate. We were treated with the same disrespect as at the hotel. When suggesting they put a sign up stating you must pay, they said we should've known as we weren't told there was a free buffet. Needless to say, I will never stay at another Marriott.

Came for an office event and enjoyed myself. Was confused that the parking slots were numbered but it was open parking and the numbers are to assist the valet. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby and the business rooms were clean and modern.

We were visiting relatives. Overall, it seems like a nice, elegant hotel. I can't comment on their service, we've never stayed there.

Elegant hotel, although the age has started showing now The rooms are decent sized and well appointed, although some of the fixtures are pretty old and in need of repair. There is a bar downstairs as well as Concierge service. Meals can be ordered to be delivered at the room There are a few conference rooms and a banquet hall Parking is available onsite, free of charge The staff is always courteous and helpful. Worth recommending.

Flawless stay with the exception of an elevator that did whatever it wanted. Wasn't too inconvenient though, I was in the second floor. Great restaurant and amazing staff in and out.

This is a really nice place to stay. If you are looking for a great night sleep, this is your place. If you're looking for a good breakfast, a nice Jim, and other amenities, this is your place. And if you just want to hide out from the family for a few days, this could be your escape hatch. Come on by.

This recently remodeled hotel was pretty nice. I agree with some of the other comments that some of the utilities should have been updated (eg plumbing as my shower drained slow). There is a bar and a restaurant which were okay. If you're up for a jog there is a park up the road that if you run to and back will get you 5k in.

Took my parents here for Thanksgiving brunch. The hotel was immaculate and the service was 5 star. The buffet was well organized and the food was delicious. We may go back for Christmas.

My family just had the most magical experience at this hotel! A big thank you goes to Sydney in the front desk who welcomed with a big smile and a very attentive pleasant manner. We leave with a very happy heart. And highly recommend staying here and eating at the Ember tavern at the hotel. Tre will make your dining experience wonderful. The food is deliscious. The service is out of this world. We will definitely be back.

My fiance and I were overnight guests at the waterford hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It's in a great location nearby shopping, dining, and things to do. The staff was very friendly. We had one minor mishap ordering room service, but the Waterford staff was quick to rectify the situation. The rooms were updated and decorated beautifully. Water pressure in the bathrooms were phenomenal.

Nice clean hotel. The concierge level attendants are awesome. There are two things I didn't like. The doors that interconnect two rooms have zero insulation and you can hear EVERYTHING in the next room. The other thing I didn't like is that there is not a desk in the standard rooms. The restaurant has a very limited menu and I didn't really think the above average priced food I got was very good. It has a few negatives but all in all I enjoyed the stay. The staff made up for the other shortcomings.

Amazing hotel. The best part was the staff at the front desk. I had driven in after a long day and the reception was so friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

I really expected more for this hotel. The staff is very accommodating and polite. However, the room was not up to a 4-star hotel standard. There were bulb's burned out and light switches that controlled nothing. We got very little sleep because the walls are very thin and you can hear the neighbors. We listen to an entire conversation of the neighbor with his girlfriend. In addition, we heard romantic activities going on in the room upstairs. We booked a suite expecting a separate bedroom so that I could work while my wife slept. However, it's just a long hallway with no door to the bedroom. The club level was very nice with a variety of food options and adult beverages. The hostess was super friendly and very accommodating. For a hotel that's listed as 4 stars I just expected more… like a quiet room.

I have been happy with the service at the Renaissance. The rooms are clean and well-maintained — was a little surprised to see no microwave. Beds are pretty comfortable. Staff has been friendly and accommodating.

This is a very nice hotel. I highly recommend staying here. It is very clean and smells amazing. There is a lot to do in the area. Staff is very friendly and helpful too. Stay away from eating at the restaurant though.

Front desk clerk was polite. Lobby was beautiful, and clean. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and clean. Only complaint is that I had the thermostat as low as it would go and the room was very hot. Sweating while I sleep is terrible. I may stay again, but only in the winter.

Enjoyed a king room and a 2 double bedded room 7/7/17. Close to shopping and restaurants. Nice area of town. Water pressure was great. Pool very clean. Bar and restaurant worth the $. Recently renovated, too.

This is a hotel with nice Renaissance quality rooms you expect from Marriott. The quality of the restaurant and service constantly leaves something to be desired. Clean rooms and friendly front desk staff. Restaurant is whatever and have had some issues with wait staff just being attentive but generally nice.

We stayed here 4 years ago and kept talking about how relaxing it was. Finally came back with our grandkids in tow. Great pool, but need to have towels out. All amenities in place and working. Well laid out rooms and comfortable decor. Well located near great restaurants in 5-10 minutes.

A very lovely location but incredibly sterile bland hotel. It feels like this a recent acquisition. Evidence all over that they are gutting and remodeling. Hopefully they will add some color or style. I had an adjoining room where the walls were so poorly sound proofed I could hear everything. You can tell why it is a low cost property compared to others.

The location was great. It is close to shopping centers which is where I was needing to go and lots of restaurants. It's also not far from Remington park and the Zoo. The staff is great!

I'm here on business. My company booked my stay at this hotel. Staff is friendly and attentive, but there are some major issues I had. Parking is horrific. They have a parking lot on one side of the building that maybe fits 15 cars. No spaces are ever available there. The other parking lot is in an uncomfortable area beside the building and far enough away from the entrance to have to look over your shoulder the entire time you're walking in. This same parking area is where all their deliveries come in and though it's larger than their main parking lot, it is still extremely hard to find a spot. There were no spaces available on the Boulevard either. Eventually I had to park in handicap and let the front desk know. I drove around 6 times to try to find a spot… Also, they are under construction right now. I work long days and leave early mornings before 7, so that didn't bother me since they do construction 8am-6pm. But today was my late day, which means I was able to sleep in… well, that didn't happen. Right at 8am, there was constant drilling into the two walls next to me. It's been going on for an hour and a half now and I'm not happy about it. On top of it all, I went to brush my teeth and the sink started spouting out an untasteful brownish color. I am now using water from water bottles because I am grossed out. I'm exhausted.

The remodel brings new life to hotel. Must see. Staff is awesome.

Loved the room and pool. Great area. Grear customer service. Bed was comfy. There was some remodeling going on, noise not too bad. Our room neighbors need a lesson in hotel etiquette.

The rooms were OK — nothing special, but these people are scammers — not only did my bill include the 5.5% tax (that was exactly what it was named), but also when I checked my bank statement the amount was 10 over and when I called to ask about I was told there was only one person that deals with this and when they transferred me I got voice mail of course, left a message and heard from them; I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place.

Biutifol hotel four stars.

One of the worst Marriotts we've ever stayed in. The breakfast was horrible (potatoes had too much pepper, the bacon was sweet and the eggs looked like plastic — I didn't even try them). The service is almost non-existent. I had to ask the maid to do our room. The air conditioning was loud and didn't cool our room. And the very best thing about Marriotts is usually their mattresses; this one was so hard, it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. We won't be coming back.

My experience at this the Waterford was superb from the moment I walked through the doors. Customer service was impeccable I was there for Women ReCharge conference but I plan to visit again just for fun. Sybil my waitress in the restaurant had a pleasant demeanor and Casey in the bar was wonderful. The management and staff is an reflection of how you should operate an hotel. I loved and enjoyed my stay there. My family and I will be back.

The Marriot Brothers would roll over in their grave if they saw this one. Worst hotel stay since the last time I stayed at an EconoLodge. The place was filthy and way overdue for a facelift. Had to have plumbers up to fix things. The staff was friendly but woefully undertrained. Never Again.

We stayed here for our five year anniversary and we thought it was good for the price. It isn't far from downtown OKC. The room was large with a little sitting area. Free internet, a comfortable bed, a clean room (I'm obsessed with clean rooms). Also, we ordered room service — cheese and crackers, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries — it was all delicious. But the strawberries were to die for! Best we have ever had. I would definitely recommend this place! Breakfast was delicious in the morning too.

Anyone who has ever stayed at a true luxury hotel in any major metropolitan city will be overly DISAPPOINTED with the accommodations here. The waterford is outdated, overpriced and dirty. The room (renovations done just a few years ago) appeared to have been done by an amateur (should've seen the bathroom ceiling! ), there were no 'perks' that you would find in other hotels, and the SECURITY was an absolute joke. For example, the side doors were not key-secured after 10 pm as the sign stated, so ANYONE could slip into the hotel through the side doors at any hour. This is basically a MOTEL 6 at a price point 4 times greater! Avoid booking here; you are likely to be disappointed.

NEVER EVER book here! My Wedding was a mess thanks to the Waterford Marriott! I was so disappointed and decided to stay here after another previous horrible experience, they gave us the Presidential suite — — small and outdated but we did appreciate the gesture fully. First the air conditioning broke in their Presidential suite — — and the front desk person said. Well it is the 9th floor it is just hot up there — WOW! it was 80 degrees and he did not call a maintenance technician. I had to phone again explaining that tomorrow was my wedding day and needed it to be cool to get ready. So they sent up $10 fans to cool down the room. The elevator went out — — and since they were shuttling Thunder cheerleaders, forget the bride and told me to walk down 9 flights of stairs! in a wedding gown. Finally after my sister in law complained they took me in the service elevator — — then we were late! My guests who came in for my wedding including my 70 year old Mother had to walk the stairs in 105 degree heat — — NEVER make the mistake of staying here.
