We are locals who wanted to see the newly renovated Turtle Bay Resort and do some horseback riding. To our delight, we found the entire ground floor so welcoming as it lets in the spectacular ocean scape view everywhere you turn! The staff was so friendly and accommodating as they drove us to and from the stables and the Lei Lei restaurant on the golf course. The Aloha spirit definitely permeates here!

Amazing top to bottom! From the room to the pool, everything was top notch.

Turtle Bay is a beautiful resort. The employees are very kind and helpful. Alaia Restaurant is very good. You can have your breakfast, lunch and dinner there! Tigger was our waiter at night and he did an amazing job. You can also see a wonderful sunset at Off the Lip lounge. Roy Yamaguchi Restaurant was somewhat disappointing, we tried it for 3 times. We miss more entertainment activities for adults and teens. Unfortunately the cleanliness of my room was poor. They should offer more gluten free and lactose free options in their restaurant. Thanks for making my Celery Juice every morning. It was very important to me and you made it possible. Hope to see you soon!

We had a wonderful time! Everything and everyone we met met our high expectations. We look forward to going back soon. The Nalu Spa employees were the best at what they do! I was highly impressed with their professionalism. Next time you are headed to Hawaii, definitely go to Turtle Bay Resort.

This resort has thought of everything and is absolutely beautiful everywhere you go. The service was top notch by everyone we encountered. When we needed food service at the pool or lobby restaurant — Heather, Holly and Brittany went well out of their way. There were many dining options and we enjoyed them all. A very memorable visit and highly recommend.

Staff very good at resolving room reservation unavailability. Every so helpful and strive to make stay the very best possible.

Incredible hotel, with super professional and friendly staff. We stayed in an ocean side club level king suite. Absolutely incredible the staff were friendly and made sure to make my nieces birthday extra special. Food at Alia was incredible. There is no bad hotel view. Hands down will be back and highly recommend Turtle Bay Resort.

Staying on turtle bay was the best decision we could have made. It’s a nice quite resort where you can relax after a long day of activities. I did not get married on turtle bay but I got ready there. The staff is so friendly. The views from the rooms were amazing and the ocean club access is definitely worth it. The food is very good. The staff is so amazing and they go above and beyond to make you comfortable. One staff went and got me a lie when he heard I was getting married that day. Highly recommend staying there. Will stay again when we return.

Way over priced! food and drink disappointing. My gin and tonic was seltzer and tonic, no one noticed that the tank needed to be changed the $18 guacamole and chips tasted like store-bought from a week ago nothing fresh about that. We brought stuff to refrigerate. Refrigerator in room was not turned on. They claim to save electricity while they have probably a half a mile of pumped water features on the property! For $900 a night you think this place would be perfect. Don’t waste your money. Rooms are nothing spectacular.

Great service from front desk, housekeepers, and restaurant staff. Beach House restaurant was awesome — we had a great server, food was really good, and good ambience. Getting to check out the tide pools was a great moment of nostalgia. It was one of my most memorable memories as a kid.

Beautiful resort with a lot of activities available. Make reservations for excursions ahead of your trip to ensure it doesn’t sell out. The staff are amazing and super nice. This stay was for our honeymoon and we will definitely be back!

This was such a beautiful place to be. Lei Lei's restaurant was excellent. Great food and fast and friendly service. The scenery was exceptional with plenty of outside dining options allowing you to enjoy the amazing landscape.

How about all the sea turtles your resort has displaced? This area was a conservation breeding ground. I was so distraught to see how this area was over built without regard for Protecting the native sea turtles. : — (

The resort is shut down. To the maintenance man guarding the bathrooms, who sent me and my family on a 25 minute search for “the port-a-potty in the parking lot” you’re a jerk.

Nice Drive to the north shore when you leave early and very family friendly beach is a weekly family visit that we take majority of the weekends and a lot of choices to eat lunch as well.

Horrible customer service had the worst experience trying to book a vacation here, got discorague to not booked by agent, for a highly rated hotel and 4 stars you expect good services the reservation representative was beyond negative, rude and unwelcomed, no manager or supervisor on site no one to interact but this one extremely bad representative of turtle bay resort horrible beyond extreme bad experience dont recommend they act like they dont want your business here.

Beautiful and family friendly A perfect place to relax and enjoy! Great eateries around the area, lots of activities and sight seeing! Many beaches that are not overcrowded to enjoy!

Had an amazing time when we visited in October! We will be returning in January! Highly recommend. A lot of experience included with your stay.

The golf course is in super condition. Great staff, bag boys are super. Not real happy about paying $100.00 dollars because one person did not show up. I can agree we should be charged if we did not make the tee time at all. There were 3 twosomes in front of us and slowed down our games. One twosome would hit extra balls if they did not like their shots. Slowed down the game. Wondering how I was charged an extra $100.00 and we had three players… so I guess the 3 twosomes should have been made to pay $200.00 extra for only having two players. This is one crazy rule. As for the transportation provide… it was outstanding… the driver was on time… stayed and waited for us to finish our round. Great experience.

This place is amazing! So family friendly, great food, perfect location and the rooms are amazing. We’ve just left the Four Seasons in Maui and if I’m honest, this place is sooo much better! The staff at Roy’s were unbelievably accommodating to me, from the valet staff, going out of their way to golf cart me down from the hotel to Roy’s restaurant. The waitstaff went above and beyond to accommodate me without me asking for anything. They had ice for my ankle, incredible meal, and made sure that a golf cart available to take me back up to the hotel entrance after dinner where the valet had our car waiting and would only charge half price for their service.
The staff should be commended for their kindness and how readily they go above and beyond, and not because it was their job. I will recommend to anyone and will hopefully return myself to Turtle Bay and enjoy their facilities.

Beautiful setting. Great accommodations. Good beach area and people can surf right past the hotel and outdoor restaurant area.

The ocean is phenomenal. Beautifully maintained beach area, great staff a d wonderful views. Snorkeling is always a hit and the food and drinks are fantastic. We will be back!

Our experience with Turtle Bay was that your satisfaction is tied only to how much money you were willing to spend. Of course, the rooms are pricey, but we went for 3 nights as part of our Honeymoon and really did not feel much love from the property. No mention of congratulations, no extra mile, and when we simply wanted to stop in at one of the bars on the property, we were told we had to pay a cover charge. In the lobby of the hotel, where we spend a considerable amount of money to stay in the first place. Overall, it's a nice place with nice views, and most of the staff were friendly enough. Just not what we were expecting to make us feel special on our honeymoon.

Best Hotel on the North Shore, granted there aren't many. The place could use an update to the rooms and lobby — for what one would expect (lobby had peeling, fake wood wallpaper). The rooms are large. The service was good, although experienced attitude from a few servers. The reception was "eh". The food was just fair (needs improvement), but the views are excellent.

Absolutely beautiful. Vista level rooms are fantastic — the bathroom is too die for. Food and beverages are very expensive but that's somewhat expected. The area and views are great. Love it! It's been a wonderful week so far.

We drove up from Honolulu for a quick weekend trip that ended up being our engagement weekend. Turtle Bay made the whole experience unforgettable from the moment we pulled up. Tons of beautiful land to explore, great dining and bars in the resort and surrounding towns which are driving distance! We highly recommend the magnum helicopter tour of the island, it’s breathtaking. We are considering returning for the wedding!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was such a wonderful experience. By far the best place to stay in the North Shore. The resort offers a lot of amenities, and was so easy to book activities for our week long stay. Very comfortable, clean and friendly staff. I would love to return to this location again in the future. Also not far from other beautiful beaches, activities, food trucks, and stores.

Great resort! We stayed for a week in August for our family vacation. Very beautiful place and the beach is amazing! The resort is very well maintained and the staff are very helpful. We booked a horseback ride through the resort that was very enjoyable. Our rooms had great views and were very clean and comfortable.

Stayed in the Turtle Bay Condos for the week while on vacation. Stopped by Roy's for a drink after watching the sunset. Bartenders we're all very nice and drinks were good. If you head around the corner to the right of the main beach is less crowded area to swim. Water shoes are helpful for walking on some of the rocky parts of beach and water entrances.

Great resort highly recommend.

It was our honeymoon, so we went for a suite on the Vista level. The resort location is amazing, the grounds are kept pristine and the staff is very kind and helpful. The restaurants have great food and service, and you pay a premium. The pool is kinda small for the size of the hotel, and very crowded. As it is a family resort, there are kids literally screaming, at the top of their lungs, all day at the pool/beach. The beach is a bit rocky but the snorkeling is quite good. … The resort fee of $50/day is a bit deceiving, as we still had to pay to rent beach chairs for $40/day? We were there for the 4th of July, we bought tickets for the event they had advertised. It was overcrowded and understaffed, so the food came out late and it was cold. To their credit, they did give us a free drink, by way of an apology, but it felt like a waste of money. The view from our room was phenomenal, so we spent quite a bit of time just enjoying that. The room was quite spacious, had an amazing bathroom and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast on the Vista level was very basic, but we had pre-paid for the breakfast at the restaurant during our stay. We did find some ants in our room, but nothing crazy. One night the fire alarm went off at 3am, in our room only. I called the front desk and they sent a nice gentleman to come change the sensor about 30 min later, honestly, I expected but never received an apology from the management for the inconvenience.

The best place for staying at the North Shore Oahu! The hotel has a pool, nice bar and a restaurant. The beach is the best because there is a lagoon that makes the water calm and you can swim without danger of waves. At the and time there is a part of the beach with huge waves so you can enjoy surfing as well ‍♀️ The territory of the resort is very beautiful and relaxing. A lot of things to do including golf ️‍♀️ if you ever wanna stay at the north shore it’s the only one hotel there and luckily it’s very nice.

I stayed here because of the awesome movie (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and great views. My husband and I spent our anniversary here and had such a wonderful time that will always be cherished. We stayed in a large suite on the top floor and it was spectacular. I loved the concierge service with breakfast and snacks in between adventuring out on the island. The floor to ceiling windows that open up the whole room to the ocean were heaven! I love that this hotel is green and is helping preserve the earth and the island’s natural resources. The beach is amazing and we enjoyed snorkeling daily to observe the beautiful reef and its creatures. The entire staff was always so welcoming and helpful as well. The only thing I noticed that could use improvement is parking. It was always difficult to find a spot.

Everything was fine until cleaning staff entered our room despite the privacy sign. Everything in our room was moved and put in odd areas. The resort tried to make up some story about how someone had to have entered our room that wasn't staff. We we're gone all day. And left the sign on. They investigated and found their staff had, in fact entered our room despite the privacy sign. If you value you that stuff, especially on your honeymoon. You might want to reconsider.

Provides lots of options for exploring and experiencing Hawaii ample Beach and pool area superior in-Resort restaurants and Shop however, be prepared to spend on various things throughout the hotel. The stables at the resort are hands down best trail riding with the most scenic views 10/10 would recommend horseback riding. A beautiful but old Resort on the North Shore; but don't be afraid to venture outside the resort life to experience Hawaii in your own way!

Truly disheartening customer service experience. We booked a kayaking trip on a Wednesday for the following day. The evening prior to the kayaking trip, my wife became quite ill after eating a meal at the resort. We never received a confirmation email and were never told we wouldn’t be able to cancel or reschedule when we booked. I called the concierge Desk the night prior to the trip to inform them we would need to cancel our kayaking trip the following day. Assumed all was well until I woke up the next day to find I had been charged the full $200 for the trip. After speaking with multiple representatives at the resort, the resolution was charging me the full price for the kayaking trip despite my wife’s untimely illness. We never heard back from the kayaking representative despite being told I’d expect a phone call from them within the hour. No effort was made to correct the issue by multiple representatives. We enjoyed our honeymooning experience in Oahu but unfortunately the trip ended on a very bad note.

Popular place withing minutes of world famous surf spots & golfing. I revisit it for the beach, bar, music & nightclub. I suggested it to a 15+ person wedding party to while Waikiki construction going on. They had a blast with outdoor activities at nearby Kuualoa Ranch & Polynesian Cultural Village & plenty of romantic get away beach space. I'd give it a five, though a better mattress would be in the works for it.

My husband & I stayed here for 5 days. We both loved having our breakfast on our balcony while watching the ocean. All of the staff were very helpful in answering any questions we had and everyone was polite and welcoming. We loved having access to a beach that was not crowded and trails for hiking and horseback riding. Sunsets here were amazing. We hope we can come back again someday!

Getting married? Going on a honeymoon? Big anniversary or just a romantic getaway… this is the place to go! Sixth floor ocean view and your sure to bring a sparkle into your eyes! It’s quiet, clean and the staff are just awesome! Aloha is more than just hello!

Great place to snorkel a lot of coral.

Went here for our honeymoon in March. Staying on the 6th floor was nice because a small breakfast is included when you book. The resort has people in the lobby to help you book activities. We did a kayak and helicopter tour through the resort. The kayaking trip was nice because we saw sea turtles in the bay and they gave a short walking tour around the bay after as well. The location of the resort is nice, slower paced. The only part that was difficult was finding a place for dinner since restaurants tend to close around 7 p. M. The resort restaurants are open but a little pricey, although the food is good.

Service is front and center at this resort. Second is environmental awareness and stewardship. Who wouldn't want to be aware of this stunning environment? I highly recommend horseback riding on the beach with the turtles. We rode by a turtle sunning himself on the beach. Memorable!

We stayed in the cottages, which (while pricey) was definitely worth it. We had a gorgeous view of the beach and fell asleep to the sounds of the waves breaking against the shore. The cottage hosts were also extremely attentive and helpful. They left little treats in our room daily and Keanu checked in on us to see how our stay was going and if we needed anything. He gave us suggestions on where to go and what to do as well as helping us with dinner reservations. We had a fantastic time at Turtle Bay and definitely plan to return!

Great location, great amenities. Clean. Rooms are nice (I stayed at the Vista Level) and had fantastic views of the beach. The "free breakfast" leaves a bit to be desired but it doesn't detract from my 5* since it's not important to me. Staff was super friendly and always cheerful.

This resort delivers all. From fine dining to secluded beaches, world class golf to horseback riding. Turtle Bay has something for everyone! Surfing, group workout classes, live music, poolside fun. Pa Akai was the best dining experience during our trip. We loved having the chance to cater ourselves to an awesome dinner with great service amongst an amazing view.

The resort is absolutely gorgeous! There are so many activity's to do here! We spent a couple of hours snorkeling in the bay. There are so many fish in the bay and it was an awesome experience. We are booked for surf lessons tomorrow and cant wait! The food is fantastic, but a little pricey. We are visiting a lot of the local food trucks that are reasonably priced.

The resort is great but my main complaint is how much trash is produced there. At the outdoor restaurant, most meals come in plastic containers on top of reusable plates. And each drink comes in a plastic cup, and they don't refill the cup, they bring another. It was horrible watching how much waste is created daily at such a beautiful place. Other than that, my experience was great. The beaches are all wonderful and walking distance, the views great and everyone was very nice.

Really good place to relax, it is out of the way being on the North Shore but a good getaway from the busy Waikiki. Beaches around this area usually has lots of waves but the resort also has access to the calmer waters for some snorkelling. We didn't get to see any turtles, but I did overhear someone mention them! Limited places to eat in the resort and quite pricey if you don Lei Lei's is highly recommended. For a cheaper eat, go to Giovanni's shrimp truck to Seven Brother's which is about 15minutes drive away depending on traffic!

We stayed at Turtle Bay for family vacation. Great pool and beach area. The staff is AMAZING. Everyone is so nice I do have to say that their Valet team is above the top. They saw my son was handicap and comped our service for our entire stay. They always had suggestions on great places. Always greater with a smile and great conversation about our day. They were hands down the best group of guys. Good is very expensive especially for what you get. The only suggestion I would have is more kid activities… overall a great resort.

Hotel… a dream! … view and Incomparable Beach!

The staff here is amazing. We stay at The Four Seasons and other very nice resorts, the staff here is on that same level. Everyone is professional, kind, conscientious and go out of their way to help you. We would not hesitate to come back and stay at the cottages again. The cottages on the beach were so nice, listening to the ocean each night was so lovely. Truly a great spot to visit!

Loved this place. Everyone is so nice! Our room even had a issue but they quickly put us in a new one. Not as crowded as other resorts. Amazing views of the ocean and sunset. Best bang for your buck. Free snorkel equipment. Food was amazing! So much to do. If you can, get the Vista level. Free breakfast and buy one get one free workout classes. Sunset yoga! Also check out the local scene for shrimp trucks and cheaper souvenirs then at the resort.

Wonderful sandy beach protected by a reef. Good snorkelling and swimming. Good hotel with good food options. Easy access to the beach for visitors with plenty of parking. Seals can occasionally be seen resting on the beach. Short walk to more secluded, long sandy beach.

Just a visit to Turtle Bay Resort. The resort is a town of it's own and seems to have a great range of accommodation options. Combined with fantastic beach views, salt water swimming options along with a large pool. There's a decent range of lunch and dinner options, all the extra amenities of gym, conference room and a range of activities on site.

The strongest asset of this resort is its scenic value and secluded nature. However, this resort needs more affordable options for food and entertainment. I have no problem paying money for quality food, but I felt constantly shorted by the quality of dining experiences. Specifically, breakfast options were minimal and lackluster. We did horseback riding on our last day and it was AWESOME. Other than that, there isn't much entertainment, and we felt constantly driven to leave the resort (not that there is much else going on nearby). Rooms were adequate and we had a great view, but it was missing amenities and convenience I would expect a place like this to have. Overall, it is worth it if you're prepared to pay a heavy premium for, as previously stated, scenic value and remote location.

Turtle Bay has the best sunsets at any resort in Oahu! It's worth visiting at that hour. It's a good snorkeling place, you can see all kinds of fish and marine life. If you come to Oahu, visit the North Shore and Turtle Bay.

Turtle Bay Resort has provided an amazing experience for my wife and I on our Honeymoon. We opted for the Beach Cottages and the view has been phenomenal. We are a few yards from the beach and the quietness of the environment really allows for total relaxation. Our cottage package granted us access to concierge services and they have been amazingly friendly and helpful with all of our wants/needs. Since our arrival, the entire staff has been more than accommodating to ensure our complete satisfaction on our 1st trip to the wonderful state of Hawaii :) HIGHLY Recommended! Plus, Forgetting Sarah Marshall was filmed here lol.

Fabulous experience! Comfortable bed, great view, great service, great beach! I would highly recommend this place to any freind or family. I removed a star simply because you need to remember to get a room in the wing opposite the club if you're there on a Saturday. No where on north shore is open past 9, but it was unbearably loud until 2am on the 3rd floor.

We really enjoyed this place. Having a condo to go to and from is really nice. They had all the equipment there for use to go the beach. I'm taking off one Star because the A/C really sucked, almost non-existent and rules not to run it while not there. They said it would cool the whole place off. By that they must have meant the 20 ft directly in front of the wall unit. The loft was almost unbearable and never really cooled off. The upstairs bathroom was made for a hobbit. The ceiling was way too low for any normal human being. The amenities are nice, and convenience to awesome beaches is a huge plus. North shore is the place to be on this island. More rain and clouds, translates to not burning the heck out of your skin.

Always love this resort. Lots of food options, a great pool bar and can almost always see turtles in the bay right near the hotel. We came by motorcycle this time and they have close bike parking. Love to go to the restaurant on the beach, the name has changes recently and so I forget the name now. Very happy with our quick visit, and always feels like home.

We stayed at Turtle Bay a month ago and we couldn't ask for a better hotel experience in such a beautiful place as Hawaii. The resort itself is set right on the beach, and the balconies are facing the ocean, so you get a beautiful view every morning. Our rooms were very clean from the moment we entered, and we also appreciated the housekeepers for their consideration of waiting for the guests to leave before they cleaned the room. The hotel staff was very professional and knowledgeable, and they very politely accommodated us with no trouble when we needed it. If you're ever interested in booking a tour or going on an adventure during your stay, the employees at the Guide Post are very knowledgeable and prompt to answer your questions or assist you with any other matter. Generally, we found this hotel to be very peaceful and cozy at all times of the day since there was hardly any loud noise you would hear besides the beautiful music they play in the lobby. We especially enjoyed the live music in the pool area and eating in the open air near the ocean listening to music! Everyone was very friendly and courteous to make sure we had an unforgettable stay, which we did! In short, just book your reservation at Turtle Bay, because I guarantee you will have a great experience.

This place is awesome. We stayed in an ocean Villa. It was very nice and relaxing. The restaurants, golf courses, and pool bar are great. There's a nice calm bay to go swimming or snorkeling. I hope I get a chance to stay here again sometime.

By far the best beach on the North Shore side. Clean not many rocks that can hurt you when swimming. It's a public beach, there is free parking a very big lot. No showers only bathroom available. Since is within the resort premises the seats on by the bay are for guess only or you have to rent it for $25 minimum for 3 hours. It's relaxing and not too crowded you can order food and drinks.

The Turtle Bay Resort (Turtle Bay Resort) is located at the northernmost end of Hu Ishan, the only upscale resort on the north shore of Oahu Island. Hotels, beaches, golf courses, holiday homes, restaurant bars and so on, there is a small beach next to the name Yue: Kuilima vove (Quillima Cove). There is a reef in the bay that blocks the waves, so this is also a snorkeling resort, and you'll find that most of the visitors are white. When you're lucky, you'll see a sleepy monk seal on the beach here. Beaches in Hawaii are public, even if they are located in the resort. Sometimes parking spaces are tense, especially weekends and holidays.

We were just exploring the north shore and had read about the resort on TripAdvisor. We wanted to stop to check out the hotel grounds and see about lunch options. We had a nice simple lunch and drinks poolside with hteat views of the waves right in front of us, beautiful. Friendly, helpful staff and beautifully kept facility (if a bit dated architecturally).

Beautiful views, two hour free snorkeling or boogie board per day for two people, Keurig coffeemaker in room, beautiful sand beach right in front of the resort, gorgeous landscaping. Every bar/restaurant on location is expensive to very expensive, the pool side is very windy and cool, if there is a free activity, e. G. Free tennis for an hour per day, one has to pay to rent the rackets, or with the 24 hour free GoPro camera rental one has to buy an SD card from the shop, or with the free ukulele lesson one has to pay to rent the ukulele. Overall, though, I would definitely come back!

It was good. We ate dinner at Pa'akai and enjoyed taking our time and enjoying the outdoor seating. Casual attire with good food (about $125 per person with drinks) and nice atmosphere.

My family and I went to Turtle Bay Resort to experience a few days out of Waikiki. The Turtle Bay was recommended by a friend who lived in Oahu. The resort was wonderful. The grounds were well kept and clean. The overall atmosphere was more relaxing and quieter from the Waikiki beaches and resorts. The salt water pools were wonderful and my kids enjoyed the different options and made a bunch of friends there. We had a partial ocean view with a mid-size room that was wonderful. They were big with a wonderful view. There was even a dressing area that closed off that was separate from the bathroom which is great for families. I would definitely come again. My two complaints would be: 1. The water pressure in the shower. Even my 7 year old complained that her hair was barely getting wet. 2. They are far from town and are really expensive — 5 chicken tenders w/ fries are $19.50 before tax & tip.

Very friendly staff. Nice pools and view. But I expected more from the interior design of the main building. Needs updating. Felt like an airport.

Location is gorgeous. Rooms are gorgeous. Wait staff are friendly, courteous and quick. Food is very good and the cocktails are even better!

Absolutely the best located hotel I have stayed in, the main draw backs however were that it constantly seemed that the hotel had a massive event ie. A concert in the Wednesday night where the hotel was basically taken over by kids, and a film crew using various locations of the hotel on a daily basis where you could not access as a guest. It just seems this hotel is more Interested on exploiting the natural beauty of this area for their financial gain, via commercial ventures than keeping their customers happy.

The rooms were nice, and the location was beautiful. Everything is super expensive, food, drinks, rentals were all expensive. However, we did enjoy the free parking, and liked that even after we checked out of our hotel, we were allowed to use the resort facilities such as free beach chairs, towels, and 2 hour free snorkling mask rental. Wish they had more availability for the hospitality room. Overall we had a lovely stay despit the high prices. We would return.

My husband and I spent our honey moon at this resort and LOVED it. We paid for a partial ocean view room which basically got a full ocean view with also a view of the resort pool, from which we could see the live concerts by the poolside from our balcony. The resort is huge and we would hike several miles along the beach which were very private and saw sea turtles and monk seals. We splurged on the helicopter ride that is on the resort and had a blast touring around the whole island. Our room was very large and clean along with the bathroom and had excellent house keepers, who were always very friendly and smiling. The only complaint we would have is a couple of not so great waiters in the restaurant, but we didn't let that ruin our honeymoon or our overall experience. The resort was more than my expectation and we both enjoyed it very much.

3 stars out of 10… Turtle bay is a beautiful place to stay. Nice views all around, nice rooms, clean bathrooms. One star goes to people at the golf club, the course and the restaurant over there. Super nice people with great customer service all around. The palmer course is my favorite course on this island so far. The other star goes to tutu that teaches hula and ukulele lessons. She is the most kind and sweetest person ive ever met. The entire one hour with her, I felt like we were family. She has the true spirit of aloha. The last star goes to some of the food I ate at the other restaurants. Kula grill has some awesome appetizers but so so entrees. The pork belly is unreal! I think they need to build entrees around their appetizers if you ask me. The special sides they offer taste way better than the entrees. Great breakfest buffet! Unlimited BACON! For 30 bucks you can practically eat everything they have on the menu. Surfer cafe is also awesome. The waitress there was super nice and also introduced us to the best tasting beef I ever ate in my life. Australian wagyu beef sashimi! So why only 3 stars? Being locals I would expect to be treated with aloha and receive the same customer service they give to the tourists. Being there some of the staff made us feel like we didnt belong because we were locals. For example my girlfriend wanted to book a horseback ride for my daughter and son.

Went for my honeymoon here on 7-20-15 till 7-25-15 I have never been on a better vacation or in a better hotel than this. It was super clean, friendly, the views are unbelievable. I have never been to paradise before until now. I rated it 4 stars but, there is two things that was really bad THE Wi-Fi at this resort was terrible you can never catch a Wi-Fi signal it would go on and off. The prices of everything was also high. If it wasn't for that it would have been 5 stars. Great job with everything else though turtle bay will defiantly be visiting again and will be recommending your hotel. I just have to deal with your Wi-Fi issues and prices for everything in your hotel. One example for pricing I ordered room service at 9pm a cheese burger fries and a coke it was $38.86 really! that was a bit ridicules I cancelled the order of course.

Aloha What a fantastic place to stay well worth the 17000 miles from here in the UK saving up to visit again. To see the sunset over towards Japan and have a laugh with Stu at the pool bar First class hotel will recommend to anyone from this side of the world 5 Stars without doubt.

BEST VACATION OF OUR LIVES! My wife and I cannot say enough nice things about the time we spent here, on the North Shore and all of Oahu! Mahalo for the memories! We stayed for our Anniversary, first week of June 2015, 5th floor of the West Wing. Amazing view overlooking the pool and the beach behind it. Waves were steady and we would close our louvered doors and leave the slider open at night, and just blissfully fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Room was clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable and clean; we slept like happy babies =) at first glance we weren't thrilled but the view was stellar, and the room decor definitely grew on us. We ate at Kula Grille, had a couple of drinks at Surfers and also dined at Ola at Turtle Beach. Ola was by far the most amazing restaurant and our server Chris provided most excellent service and was a genuinely nice guy. Night life in our opinion was pretty lacking here, but it almost seems that way by-design as there is SO MUCH to do/see throughout Oahu, you just want to come back to the resort, chill and relax with your loved one (s). I personally felt that everything was reasonably priced given the whole ambience — — — you have to expect that prices will be higher in Hawaii in general, but in my opinion the only thing that we felt overpriced were drinks. Again, this is expected and normal. Parking was ABSURD!

One of the best Hotel/Resorts we have ever stayed at. Very friendly staff, excellent room, pool/bar, views, food, etc. We will be back. My only complaint if I had to have one is all the cats roaming the property.

This is the best resort in the World. The resort staff are extremely friendly, professional, helpful and full of smiles. The surf out front is fun if a swell hits when you're here, and the board rentals are way awesome!. If you're going to Oahu, this is the place to stay, worth every cent. Rooms are a clean and modern beach theme with surf photos all over for a "beachy" feel. Loved the over head shower head. Room service and maid service is top notch! This is a nice and safe haven for your stay in Oahu, Hawaii. Wish I could live here 24/7. This is definitely a first class resort, and by no means a hotel. Love it here! Thanks Turtle Bay Resort! and a special thanks to the Vice President Danna Holck for making our stay even better! Tip: don't forget to try the water slide at least once.

I thought I was going to be blown away by the resort everyone raves about. I was sadly dissapointed. The first day we arrived our toilet was stopped up. Over the next day we called a total of five times for them to fix it. We were on our way back from a nearby town tired and ready for bed. We called to make sure that things were taken care of because literally the toilet was smeared. They told us that we had called to say that we didn't want anyone in there until we returned which is a load of crap. Luckily by the second night we had a working bathroom.

A wonderful place, I loved.

I have stayed inn resorts all over the world. The staff at Turtle Bay is up there with many of the best resorts I have ever stayed at. The staff understands why you are there. You are spending money and paying their wages while you are there. Because they understand this, they give you outstanding customer service. There is someone to help with luggage, direct you to where you want to go on the island, offer ideas on what to do at Turtle bay or on Oahu. In short the staff will do whatever it takes to help you enjoy your stay.

Horrible stay with this resort. I could not force myself to stay more than 1 night. I was never planning to stay with this resort but plans changed and I found myself checking in for one night and regretted every minute. Complaints about my Stay; 1. Horrible room. Now hot water. Broken glass and bottle in closet. 2. Bed bugs and could not sleep. 3. Advertisements for room stay say $129/night but when I arrived they billed me $385/night. Taking advantage of the little guys should be their slogan. Good luck if you stay at this resort.

We checked in to the hotel last night, and were greeted with friendly, kind people from the moment we pulled up at the valet. The kind Australian woman at the counter was so helpful, and immediately offered me a reasonable solution to my desire to have a lanai, even though we had paid for the partial ocean view room. We headed to the grill in the lobby, and despite the fact that it was after 9, and they were getting ready to close, the hostess graciously seated us, and the waitstaff treated us like it was the first table of the night. Almost seem too good to be true? We'll, if you feel that way, then you better head up to the north shore and see what you're missing out on. I am so looking forward to the rest of our stay at this most amazing place.

This is the most disgusting and awful hotel I have ever been to. I reserved a smoking room and was smoking in my room when security knocked on the door to tell me I could not smoke. I protested because I specifically asked for a smoking room. The security used his radio to hit me in the face and ruined my vacation. I had swollen face the whole time I was in hawaii for two weeks. They are very racist and dark and I wish an earthquake or a volcano will destroy that place. And I hope a large fire will destroy that place.

Great area to stay if you are trying get away from the "city" feel. Resort was clean and staff very friendly. Restaurants were poor and highly over priced.

Greatly Enjoyed my stay for our Honeymoon. They were under construction at the time but they upgraded us to an even better room. My Parents actually just went for their first time and stayed at the same location and loved it.

Nice place, good time but. Running late at checkout with 3 pages of charges for the week I didn't notice that they tacked on a $300 smoking fee without notice. We don't smoke, I'm sure the room didn't smell like smoke. Why? I don't know, they won't answer my emails asking why they tacked it on. Was it a typo? Maybe another room was smoking and our room was wrongly charged? I don't know? I know I signed and left but the least they could have done was inform us of a complaint while we were there or at least answer my emails.

Maybe it's by design but this place don't get a lot of publicity and it's one of the most relaxing places I've ever visited. My wife and I spent a week on Oahu last week, we spent the first 3 days at Turtle Bay and the rest of our time in Waikiki. Each night at TB we slept with the balcony doors open, it was so relaxing to hear the waves crashing up against the rocks. What's even better was that they have louvered doors you can slide closed for privacy but still allow you to hear the ocean. We were so disappointed when we got to Waikiki, we opened our balcony door to dirty rooftops, ac units, and noise. We will likely take another trip to Hawaii in about 5 years and we will stay at TB the entire time. The service was great, if you're into golf they have that, it's just a cool place to stay. Unless you're like 21 or just love the "touristy" spots, rent a car and drive straight to TB when you get off the plane.

My husband and I had our wedding last month at Turtle Bay Resort, and it was beautiful. We were on a tight budget, but Mikilani in Sales helped us come up with really creative solutions to make it possible! Turtle Bay does not require you to use any specific vendors, and we found this flexibility made all the difference as we were able to bring in the vendors which best matched our personalities and budget. We had our ceremony in the Wedding Pavilion and reception in Pa'akai, and both turned out absolutely perfect, thanks to all the hard work of Dida, Chef Conrad, and Liz, the on-site florist. We were treated like family from every planning email, to our tasting and ultimately the wedding itself. They even accommodated my gluten allergy with a beautiful gluten free menu and cake. The attention to detail was spectacular and I can't say enough good about Turtle Bay! Dida, the Catering Manager, was so responsive to my questions and very flexible with our requests. She always made time to respond to all my questions and she communicated effectively to make sure that we were all on the same page. My husband loved the fact that she really paid attention to small details, and ensured our every request was fulfilled. One of the things that stood out to me was that she made herself available to me as early as 5 AM on a Sunday (the day of the wedding) for some last minute concerns that I had.

This is about the florist not the hotel itself! very disappointed. We received excuse after excuse from Liz. She had poor communication and never delivered on her promises. We are an active duty military family and having our wedding home in Hawaii but planning from Ohio where we are stationed. She has made the experience awful. She promised to have some mock up and ideas by Tuesday and we never heard from there. Then she promised Thursday. Never head back until I contacted her. She then sent a few pictures of the ugliest bouquets I have ever seen. Nothing like the photos we sent her. We told her exactly what we were looking for and wanted and she seemed to be not even on a close page. I wish I could post a side by side picture of what we sent her and what she sent back. I almost fell to the floor.
