Booked a specifically pet friendly room online. I even verified with the booking agent and was assured the room was pet friendly. Arrived after 4 pm and the room was not ready. Employee wasn’t at all apologetic and acted annoyed at me. Had to wait 30 minutes for room to be ready and then went back in. A different employee got annoyed because I couldn’t hear her mumbling through a mask and a plexiglass shield with a TV blaring behind me. Then I was told no pets were allowed. When I tried to explain that I had booked a pet friendly room she started shouting me down and wouldn’t even let me finish a sentence. I will certainly never return to this hotel again.

Was and am still annoyed with your front desk employee Susan, she was extremely rude and short with all of the people wanting to get their rooms. She actually told us we had a three hour wait because their Choice privilege customers were getting a late check out, well we were also Choice members. When we came back after 3 hours her attitude did not get any better. Maybe it’s time for a chat with this employee. There were several more incidents but I’ll stop now.

The best place to stay in Sanford…

I was trying to find a room after I had to leave my home during Hurricane Florence. I went to book a room here and was automatically re-booked for September 30, well after the storm would pass. When I called to cancel and point out the mistake, they told me the room was non refundable. After speaking to a manager, she never called me back. Taking advantage of people during a hurricane is disgusting and I will never stay at a Comfort Suites again.

Good sized room, friendly staff. Requested crib upon arrival and it was brought up quickly. Only complaint is the shower had little pressure and the shower curtain rod was loose so the curtain would not stay shut.

Good location and pleasant staff. The large room was clean. The bathroom showed signs of age. Had to “play” with the drain plug to get it to stay in place up while showering. Water pressure in the shower was lackluster. Tub bottom was very slippery.

Great place to stay whether you are traveling or just wanting a day or two away from the house. Nicest staff members you will ever meet, and will help you with anything. Pool and weight room are always kept nice and tidy and clean. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Stay was great. Rooms was clean, no issues. Staff friendly. Beds comfortable. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it's a comfortable clean room with a decent price.

Staff was friendly. Everything was clean and presentable. Enjoyed the small gym and indoor pool. Breakfast was pretty good too. We enjoyed our stay.

I work 3rd Shift at an IT company. I checked into my room at 3 a. M. I told the front desk lady that I would be sleeping in until about 12 or 1 p. M. She said she would make this note in my file. This morning, the cleaning ladies knocked on my door twice to try and clean my room while I was sleeping with a do not disturb sign on the door. Then after explain the situation to them, the front desk lady calls my room to inform me that I have to be checked out by 2 p. M. I told her that I already knew this, and that this should be noted in my file. She confirmed that it was, so then why are you calling and waking me up to tell me things I already know? I paid you $115 a night so your company Could Wake Me Up 3 times? One of the worst hotel experiences I've had.

Very nice hotel good prices, they do room blocks for events.

The rooms are not maintained. The wall is pilling in the bathroom. The sink is rigged so it won’t fall down. The water pressure sucks so it is hard to take a shower.

Nice room, terrible lighting/outlets. The room was nice, the bed was comfy, but the lighting layout is awkward and unweildy. The worst, from my perspective, is that the light and the outlets near the bed are on opposite sides of the bed… Very awkward is, like me, you are a reader who uses their phone as an alarm. Overall, a good hotel, but could do with more overhead/centralized lighting.

Comfortable room with expected amenities. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was better than other comfort inn locations I've visited. Only complaints I had were the after hours front door lock was broken and someone in a room near mine was smoking in their bathroom, which came through the vents into my bathroom.

This place is really nice and not too expensive.

This place is beautiful and clean. The staff is so very attentive. The Wi-Fi was fast. The business center was great. Finally the complimentary afternoon lemonade was delicious.

Reasonable place to stay. IThe staff was very nice. Breakfast was a bit above average. We had an issue with our room and were promptly moved to a new one. That new one had an ignorant neighbor who was smoking in a non smoking hotel. The staff handled them well, but sadly it still didn't help that there was screaming at midnight from that room until he was thrown out. Our replacement room was clean, but looking worn. Shower had low water pressure and the temp fluctuated randomly. I would give them another chance.

The hotel is great. Appearance and staff are complementary to needs required. The only bad experience is that we spent our 13 year anniversary in a cold room we're the temperature could not be adjusted or be risen to make it comfortable (65 degrees), when it was below 30 oitside. The Continental breakfast was good and and fully equipped with all the morning needs. Would recommend this hotel, in hopes that the temprature in room can be fixed.

Nice hotel. Stayed the weekend. It was unfortunate the pool was not working, but front desk compensated with bowling passes.

We've stayed at many of the comfort suites throughout NC traveling for work and this was by far the Best location! We had 3 rooms total for the night… everything was very clean. The breakfast area was great and the Best also! The absolute Best part of our experience had to be Susan, the front desk clerk. She was very polite and helpful. Being out of town trying to find somewhere to stay can be a nightmare, but it was a dream. A very big thank you to all the staff and especially Susan for the Superb hotel experience for my wife and I and the men who work for us! Hopefully next years work carries us this way!

Pretty solid hotel. Good breakfast spread, staff was friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. The couch was at a weird angle but I'd like to think it gives the room character.

The front desk service was awesome. The room was very neat and clean. The king size bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was good.

I have never been to a hotel with more friendly staff. I was amazed with how friendly the desk workers were as well as the housekeeping. Jeanette was so friendly and wanted to be sure we were satisfied. I have stayed at other, fancier and more expensive hotels and never had this friendly of service. Our room was very clean, they definitely renovated. Our room was cool with no humidity the entire stay which was wonderful. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel in Sanford to all of my friends and family that will visit in the future. Again, I was blown away by the friendliness of the staff, they deserve a reward!

Stayed here for the 4th when visiting family. The staff was extremely nice. The room was nice and clean when I was there. The place has a small pool, that I took my son in. They also had breakfast, waffle maker, eggs, sausages. I got creative and made a bagel sandwich. When I do go down to visit family again I will be staying here.

Fairly new hotel. The staff worked hard to keep things clean. They were very friendly and accommodating. Free Wi-Fi and a great breakfast!

Used this hotel to get dressed for my wedding (June 10th 2017) and everyone was friendly and pleasant. Somehow my room had been cancelled a couple of hours earlier and when my Hubby went by to check me in, he was told the hotel was booked and turned away. I called and the receptionist took my original confirmation number, apologized for the mix up, and assured me that she would find me a room. Sure enough when my Husband went back again, she had a room ready and apologized yet again for the mix up. Good customer service, well maintained rooms, and family friendly!

This place is fabulous. From the moment we checked in until our departure, we were treated with such respect. The lady that checked us in the hotel was extremely pleasant and efficient The entire hotel was so clean. Our rooms were immaculate. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The breakfast was very good. We will definitely recommend the Comfort Suites again. Thanks for making our weekend so pleasant.

Felt very welcome & great customer service! We called ahead because we was in 18 wheeler & they had enough room for us to park it on a dirt patch at the beginning of the drive! Warm cookies was especially nice before bed & breakfast was very good, bacon was crispy the way I like it! But they did have breakfast bags to go to if you don't have time!

As a military family, we have been doing business with Choice Hotels for years to accommodate family visits from all over the USA. Tonight, I had the experience of dealing with staff at this Sanford, NC facility and was told that a family member that I bought a room for tonight, could not stay in the room because she was not the CC holder. When I tried to make the purchase over the phone and verify my identity as being the CC holder, I was told that this was not permissible at any Choice Hotel. I'm calling BS because I know I have been doing business online and via phone for family at a plethora of Choice Hotels for years. So, that being said, I am to believe that this is a SANFORD, NC CHOICE Hotel policy since I have never encountered this problem before at any other Choice Hotel from Florida to California. Suffice it to say, Choice Hotels just lost this military family's business.

Hot tub was down. No towels at pool. Didn't offer me choice of free snack and drink with choice rewards. Lightbulb was out. Fridge was warm when arrived. Kinda noisy from neighbors. Bathroom caulking was horrendous. Semi comfy bed. Good breakfast options. Friendly staff. Complimentary toiletries available. No bed bugs. Wide but not deep tub. No silverware or plates. Ice machine on floor was out of order as was vending machines. Not the best but not the worst. Prolly the best you can get in good ol' Sanford.

Nice modern look and very clean. The beds were very comfortable other than the pull out sofa bed, but this is expected. When we asked for items for the pull out sofa bed, they only had one extra pillow available. Some of us brought our own pillows so we were able to lend ones off of our bed. They should have adequate supplies though. They do have a continental breakfast, but don't expect much.

Excellent facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Don't be so Excited about this Property. It looks OK from the outside, but inside is another Story. The Overall cleanliness is abysmal and the 1st floor and the lobby smelled Afoul. The Carpet in front of the elevator is filthy and the Staff is few and far between. We reserved a Room with a Sofa Bed, and when we went downstairs to request linens for the Bed we were told that there were no more Blankets because the Hotel was booked. Our Tub drains Slow and we found a Huge winged Ant on our Pillow. We requested a Room change, but we were denied do to the Hotel being filled to Capacity. Disappointing stay, but I will request an adjustment of the Rate upon Checkout.

We stayed at the Comfort Suites in Sanford NC. The building was very modern and the rooms were nice. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The fitted bed sheet had lots of piling and needs replaced. All other sheets were in great shape. Breakfast was light with only two hot options but was sufficient and fresh. Service was good. Everything seemed very clean.

Location is great the hotel is nice and staff are great. The hotel itself is older and the aur didn't always work during our training but the staff provided a fan.

This is an awesome place. Clean rooms, Showers are awesome, and comforters were dreamy.

First time staying in Sanford, not really by choice. I was tired from a long trip and this was the nicest we could find in the area so we gave it a try! The building itself is beautiful and new. The staff is friendly. The rooms actually look exactly like the pictures and are very clean, which as a traveler you know is always refreshing! The beds… let me just tell you the beds are HEAVEN! Slept like a baby:) The location is very convenient with so many dining possibilities only minutes away but I just don't care for this type of town and that's why I give it a four. I don't feel very safe walking outside. But overall there isn't anything negative I can say about the hotel itself, just the location. If I ever had to stay in Sanford again I would absolutely stay here!
