I was here for a few days for work events, I did not stay overnight or have a room. The conference rooms were nice and clean, and the internet was reliable and fast enough for our purposes. The buffet style catered lunches were good as well. The staff was friendly and responsive, definite the best part of my experience.

The staff were amazing! But at 3am I received not one but two wake up calls that I did not order. Then no vending machines so that you'll buy their food at their store at their cost, guess no late nite munchies! Then we gathered our trash but had absolutely no where to take it other than the two small cans in your room, there's not a trash can anywhere halls, downstairs, or outside ANYWHERE! My son had to go all the way around the back to find a dumpster. WOW! And that continental breakfast well that's gonna cost you! Yup, no free coffee! Also sad no microwave in the rooms, guess last nights left overs is trash (if you can find it).

Decent but somewhat dates hotel, with the typical US wonderful hospitality. In particular I want to mention a 'little' great breakfast host, who's been serving in the hotel for 18 years now, and a hotel worker I met in the corridor, who went out of his way to find me some ice cubes. People like them, make you feel wekcome. Large renovated rooms with nice bathroom. I believe that the downstairs area, with the restaurant and bar area needs to be done up. It's showing the age of this hotel, which I find quite a shame. Good breakfast buffet, but certainly not anything special.

Put my son and his new wife there for one night, while awaiting their honeymoon flight the next morning. The staff treated them very well, upgraded them to a suite, and added a nice treat to the room as well! Many thanks to the staff for their professionalism and their attention to detail… and for making the beginning of their honeymoon special!

Updated rooms are nice, however the heating and cooling in some rooms face the bed directly making it difficult to sleep. Hot water can also be a problem sometimes when you have to wait a good 5 minutes for it to flow. Lastly, electricity cut out in half of the room for no apparent reason. Took them longer than o would have liked to resolve.

The Marriott does it again. The remodel looks Simply Amazing. The staff was so nice and welcoming to me and my family. We actually live here in Durham, my eight year old who probably loves Marriott Hotels more than any other kid in the world asked if she could have a birthday slash sleepover at the Marriott with a few friends. Not only did the Marriott let us do this but they made it very very easy for us. You would have thought we rented a whole floor based off how helpful the staff was. I am back at my home but my wife and daughter and her few friends are there at the hotel at this very moment having the time of their life. Thank you Marriott.

Quiet room, well appointed. The beds are my favorite… Marriott foam beds. They are firm but comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal.

It’s full service Marriott hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean as you would expect. Hotel is close to RDU, free shuttle is provided. It looks more like business hotel. Restaurant on site is pretty nice. Gym and swimming pool are good. Lounge for reward members is at 5th floor. Complementary breakfast, snack, drink and evening mini dinner are good too. Another Marriott near Crabtree is more fun if purpose of visit is pleasure.

The hotel rooms are nice, but noisy. Strange clicking noises coming from the doors or the hallway. AC units are also the old de-centralized ones that turn off/on every 30min throughout the night. My colleagues experienced the same in their rooms.

Newly renovated. Convenient location to the airport and research triangle. Dinner/drinks available at the bar until late 1:30am, which is great if you come in on a late flight hungry. Would stay here again.

Fabulous rooms. We stayed in a suite, very clean, very nice. Great cost. Excellent room service. We had dinner in the dining room one evening, great food, server was wonderful. Love the staff! So helpful and friendly.

Nice place. Only thing that made me crazy were the pillows that were mismatched and the white pillow covers were different colors of white and different size cases. Comforter also had a black stain on it like from someone's suitcase wheels.

Located near to IT office's for easy commute. They have to improve customer service a lot. No water bottles in room.

I've stayed here on multiple occasions and every time really enjoyed it. The location of the hotel is in a great spot, though can be tricky to find the first time — — it's buried in a housing community off the main road. The hotel itself is great inside. It has a nice modern look to it and the staff are great. It's a full service hotel so it has all the amenities you need from indoor pool, gym, bar, restaurant, shuttle, and great service. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food is pretty good. Like all the full service Marriott's they serve Starbucks coffee all day. There is a whole array of restaurants one exit up or down from this location; however, there really isn't anything off the main road where this is located, and certainly nothing within walking distance. Whenever I visit the RTP area this is where I stay — — and will continue to do so. I really enjoy the hotel and its location is perfect — — right off the freeway.

Great parking lot clean rooms accommodating nice staff … no. Out side trash cans? no ice machines in hotel? Close to highway! far from fields?

The new rooms are pretty awesome. The showers are fantastic, and I hope all the Marriott hotels are going with this style shower. The sink… it's a little weird. Very very shallow, makes shaving a little challenging but it's doable. Nice room, and the restaurant downstairs is good. I suggest the tomato penne pasta, and add some chicken to it.

The most beautifully decorated rooms at this Marriott. Muti shower heads were great. Comfortable bed and great customer service from Troy at the front desk.

Check in was a breeze. Friendly staff. Free shuttle from the airport. Free delicious food at the concierge lounge. But this hotel has seen better days.

First rooms were so close to the lounge, we asked to move. My new room was fine, but associates room was under construction and had to be moved again. Another full service Marriott with a Fairfield Inn breakfast in the Executive Lounge.

Easy and friendly check-in. Especially since it was at 4am! Room is comfortably small. Free Wi-Fi is great. TV choices are limited but the indoor pool rocks. Day staff is pleasant, but you can tell some are going through the motions. Great location with easy access to the interstate. I will choose this hotel again.

Prompt van service from airport. Fast Wi-Fi, very comfy bed, and a nice selection of TV channels. Not a lot nearby.

Very clean and updated. Staff was excellent! Pool and gym were well kept and great place to relax after a long day. Nice bar for a quick night cap. Wish there were more places to eat nearby. I've noticed everything in RTP is pretty spread out. Both McDonald's and Burger King close by if you need a quick bite. A few nice restaurants/bars nearby (Page Road Grill or Mez) which work if you're only here for a week. Overall great experience!

Rooms are clean and quiet. The hotel staff were all very helpful. I love the updated rooms!

First time at this location. Staff was very attentive, polite and professionally astute and accommodating. The room accommodation was very good. Despite some renovation noise 1 night, overall enjoyed a restful stay for 4 nights.

The staff is very helpful and the beds are absolutely devine. I used to say that there's nothing like sleeping in your own bed, but Marriott has definitely changed that opinion.

Good location. Good rooms. Good staff. The only issue I faced is the rooms are not quiet. I could hear people talking or laughing in the next room and in the lobby.

Concierge room was one of the best experiences i've had at a Marriott hands down. Food was top notch, coffee machine was a big thumbs up. Rooms are updated and kept clean. I like the new look as I had stayed here 15 years ago and it needed some work back then. The place was insane busy with what looks like several travel teams staying there for a local tournament but the staff kept up w/ the rush. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Rooms are a bit dated, but still clean and nice. Love the high shower heads. Parking is a bit of a challenge later in the evening, but still reasonable.

Simply the best check in experience I've ever had! Lovely gentleman greeted me, sincerely thanked me for my loyalty, and acknowledged that my room preferences had been met. This is an older hotel but well maintained. The real assets of this hotel are the friendly and efficient staff. Everyone I met was a pleasure.

First of all Anthony Davis at the front desk is awesome. Super friendly and great customer service. I had flowers delivered to surprise my wife and they put them in the room in a vase. The hotel itself is very nice and room is comfortable. Snacks and those items you may have forgot are available in the lobby but expensive. They have breakfast but its pricey. Indoor pool and hot tub are nice. We did have a drunk guy with his kids in the hot tub so our time was cut a little short. Unfortunately there was a strong odor of marijuana on our floor which just makes me shake my head. Its not the type of hotel you would think would have that. Oh and just a tip… if you smoke weed… we non smokers CAN smell it. Overall its a good place. Would stay again. Just those couple of fluke issues.

Was a great place to stay. Love the rooms and dining area. Just need to get a better sign showing where hotel is because it sits behind some trees off the main rd. I passed rt by it the first time and had to circle back around to find it. Over all a great place…

Clean, quiet, responsive staff… what's not to like?

They were amazing! My best friend just got married there today and they were soo hospitable and the wedding reception was beautiful! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone! Especially those looking for wedding venues!

My company had a catered holiday party here. The salmon was great, but some of the food was a bit cold at serving time. The property was easy to acces and the facilities were clean.

Stayed for one night, very nice and clean. The hotel has a very nice lounge on the fifth floor that offers snacks and drinks to elite members. I also used the shuttle to pick me up from the airport, very convenient.

So nice! Everything was great!

Came in town for business. Friendly staff great stay. If I come back to town I will be staying here and recommending it to anyone.

Convenient location, close to I-40 exit. Courteous staff. However there is renovation work happening to the restaurant and breakfast options are limited. Would recommend the hotel for friendly staff.

My husband and I booked the romance package Saturday night (which included wine, choc strawberries and a late checkout). We had a wonderful stay the staff was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. We really felt like they went out of their way to make our stay special and enjoyable. The property was very clean and updated. Including our king room which was stocked with everything we needed and then some (even a comfy robe). Great shower, bed, sheets and pillows. We liked it so much we stayed again the next night. After I checked out I wound up having to wait a while to be picked up the staff was nice enough to let me enjoy the hottub, pool, and workout facilities (which btw were wonderful) while I waited. If I had to offer any suggestions or criticism the towels could have been better and the hot portion of breakfast buffet wasn't terrific. However the food from room service and the bar was really good! Also we enjoyed the concierge lounge during our stay and it was great! They served yummy cheesecake Sunday evening and had lots of beverages to choose from all complimentary in the lounge. The hotel was also very affordable when you account for all the amenities. With a rate of $139 Sat night (for the package) and $109 Sun night! We will definitely be back.

Do yourself a big favor and go else where. Many bed bug infestations that have gone unreported (look behind the building to see the number of mattress being thrown out or sent off to be treated) don't expect employees to be honest or upfront about the issue. Management is awful and accepts no responsibility for anything, the finger is pointed else where. The food is HORRIBLE and to top it off WAY over priced. Do yourselves a big favor and go else where this is a 1 star hotel that claims 5 star.
