Fantastic staff! Very clean and well-maintained. All staff friendly and helpful. My go-to when I’m in the area!

We stayed here for a conference at Duke. The room was clean, the air conditioning cool, and the concierge who checked us in was great. I was pleased with the bed and pillow options, but they weren't memory foam. Still a nice night. Did not sample any of the food options but appreciated the mini fridge.

The location is convenient to Duke and downtown Durham, especially given the courtesy shuttle. Rooms are nice and a good size. Breakfast is great! Service is good, everyone is friendly and helpful.

Great location near the Duke hospital. They offer free shuttle service to and from the hospital so you don't have to worry about parking. Nice restaurant and bar in the facility. Convenient to other restaurants if you want to venture out.

I’ve stayed here four or five times and the staff is always five stars! If it isn’t right they make it right! Best blueberry pancakes I’ve ever had!

By far the best experience we have ever had at a motel. My wife’s mother was in the hospital at Duke. We stayed at this establishment not knowing what her outcome would be. In this stressful, sad situation your staff brought forth light and encouraging words and deeds. From the front desk, to the restaurant I can’t say enough good things about you. Also, best hamburger I’ve ever had by the way! I can’t say enough good things to do you all justice. I hope we all meet again (under less stressful circumstances of course) as Lori and I both are completely overwhelmed at the great service and wonderful experience we had there. I’d give you a 100 star review if it went that high!

The steak I got was delicious as well as everything else I ordered. The highlight of the experience was our waitress Corena. Her sense of humor and personality made my evening a delight.

Our room was not available due to a water leak. They got us a room in another hotel that was much nicer. They were very apologetic and took care of us. A very nice hotel.

The entire staff was very kind and caring. I especially want thank Terry the driver and Ricky at the front desk. They both went above and beyond the call of duty. Terry was very and knowledgeable about the area and always recommended great locations to visit. Ricky was so nice and helped me get my dad into the pool with the handicap lift. I hope my dad gets into this research program so we can visit them again.

We were there because a loved one was in Duke Hospital. Everyone was so kind and the smiles helped ease our pain! Thank you so much!

We always stay here when visiting Duke/Durham or anywhere in the Triangle area. Great staff, great rooms. The made to order breakfast is a big hit with me.

Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Nice bar and restaurant. Only issue is with the proximity to the rail lines. Occasionally you'll hear trains throughout the night.

Excellent hospitality by the hotel team. Very large room size, and the room was cleaned well. A nice bar with outdoor seating. Conveniently located near Duke University East Campus and a five minute shuttle ride from West Campus.

This hotel was a great welcome to Durham. The booking was relatively inexpensive when I booked about 1 month prior. I was greeted with very pleasant staff and two free bottles of water for being an HHonors silver member. They also have me a coupon for two free items from their convenience store which I used to get some shaving cream. They also give you toothpaste and small items like combs for free if needed. The room was nice and the hotel was quiet. I did not try the restaurant but it looked good and was inexpensive. They have a shuttle that leaves every half hour to take you around the area within 5 miles, which is great for getting to Duke or other parts of the city.

The service is truly what sets this place apart — the front desk staff has been exceptional! All other elements of our stay have been solid as well. Plus, multiple restaurants within walking distance!

I saw a man named Dorsey being VERY unprofessional towards another employee in the hallway. This caused the lady to become volger. She was wrong for cursing. He was wrong for threatening her… he should have maybe taken her into his office to talk. This place does NOT look like the best place to work. I was appalled. I thought, maybe someone will talk to me in this manner. They were both wrong. And I'd rather not come back to this Hilton.

Room was fantastic and luxurious. Nearby restaurant called local 22 nearby. Friendly staff. Room was quiet. Highly recommend.

Hotel looks nice on the lobby, but … A few issues … both elevators have a "weird" smell, trains run every hour and blowing their horn and preventing to have a "quiet" evening or night. Also having to pay 10.95 plus tax for a simple breakfast was an unwelcome surprise… With the pillows, there wasn't an option for firm or soft… And we couldn't have a comfortable position to watch the tv. Staff was ok.

My family fled from hurricane Irma and decided to go to north Carolina and I have to say that was the best decision I've made in a long time. When I tell you the ENTIRE staff was just AWESOME and so compassionate it brought tears to my eyes. The Manager and the Director of sales I will never ever forget them. I will be going back there this time for a vacation. They treated my dfamily like we were their family it was a good feeling.

The accommodating staff, lovely lobby with welcoming choices of complimentary teas, coffee and chilled fruit and plain water, perfectly clean room… all so nice. Will definitely stay there again!

I stayed at Hilton garden inn for 3 days in a two queen room. It was a very standard hotel that met everything you wanted. It had good Wi-Fi along with access to the fitness area. The fitness area was small but had a treadmill and some dumbbells with some setups. The pool was very small. Breakfast was not free but their options seemed nice and good for the price. There was also a mini fridge, microwave, and keurig in the room. Overall I had a very solid experience with nothing to complain about.

Very pleasant visit. The staff was very attentive to our needs and extremely warm and engaging. I was very impressed with the attention and service the front desk clerk, Wayne Palmer, provided.

Nice hotel, decent location. Only issue is how close it is to the train, which can be heard at night. The staff is very friendly and made popcorn daily for guests. The gym is well equipped, with treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, and a weight machine.

A great hotel. Friendly staff. Great location. There is a wonderful walking trail nearby on Duke Universities East Campus and a Whole Foods. The hotel breakfast was good and their grits were the best I've had in years. Stone ground and creamy. I would stay here again.

I don't generally love to travel anymore but I came down with my family to visit other family members who live in Hillsborough and the experience at this hotel was really fantastic. Everyone was super friendly. The rooms were extremely clean, simple and fresh. I felt almost as if I was in high end hotel based on the look and feel of the hotel. Even the breakfast, which was included in our stay, was far beyond what I expected. There was an omelet station and waffle maker, a large selection of fruits, bagels, breads and pastries. It's also near a supermarket and Starbucks, and there are some restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this hotel and if I ever come back down to this area of NC, I will definitely be staying here.

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times. I'm the parent of a Duke University student and also a transplant patient at Duke Hospital. I have never had a bad experience here. Cleanliness is top notch, and that is more important than anything to me. But, in addition to that, the customer service, food in the dining room, attentiveness of staff, and amenities are all way above par. I personally think it's the best hotel in Durham, and I'm quite picky! You won't be disappointed!

Great location in a close proximity to ninth street with a lot of bars and restaurants. Staff are friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Overall, had a good stay.

Excellent hotel! Staff is courteous and the romms are very clean. Had a late night meal in the bar. The staff and the food were great! Beer on tap choice was small, but great variety of styles were offered!

Great location close to Duke and walking distance to a few restaurants. Spacious rooms are very clean with many accessible power outlets. Service has been great. Free parking is very convenient.
