This place is amazing, and David saved our vacation! My friends and I broke down in a near by town. After a frantic call he came to pick us up, gave us an awesome tour of Newton and provided us with beautiful rooms in a very relaxing home. I can’t wait to return with my husband for a fantastic getaway. 👏 Outstanding customer service and extremely affordable. Thank you again!
What a great place! We loved staying there. Very comfy and clean. The instructions are easy to follow and Dave really sets it up nice. We stayed in the Farmhouse room, which was so nice. It even had a small fridge in it which we were not expecting. We met some of the other guests who were very nice and all had good things to say. We met Dave, the owner, who was very nice and gave use good recommendations. I like the quaintness of the house and room but also the modern amenities such as streaming choices such as Netflix and Hulu on the TV's and the USB blocks or wall plug ins to use. The bed was comfortable and there was a lot of drawers if you need to unpack. I liked how the lock were set up in the house and room too, using key pad locks that Dave would update with your own personal code. Newton was close enough that we could walk, so we did as it wasn't super hot. Nice little town, a little rundown, but they seem to be working on it. We were down a few restaurants due to a fire, but that was a temp thing but found one (pizza) that was very good. Breakfast is still scaled back a bit due to COVID but was all we needed. We stayed one night for a quick getaway from Charlotte (and our anniversary). The only issue we had was the hot water takes a very long time to get even warm, there is a sign in the bathroom telling you this. And the shower was a little weak. But I gutted thru a lukewarm shower and it didn't change my rating of a FIVE for Dave or this BnB! THANK YOU!
