If I could give none I would. Don't stay here found a loaded needle in our room! And management blamed me for it!

A. C. Was not cold, exterior needs a good cleaning, painting and general update. Pool was covered and not in working order. Rude front desk attendants. You get what you pay for. Unfortunately we were in desperate need of a place to stay at 2am as we were coming from out of state for graduation and the original hotel we reserved was even worse!

Clean, everything in the room works and the staff is very accommodating. Room service everyday. Enjoyed my stay.

The room was clean and accommodating. Would recommend better air freshener. Other than that it was good stay.

The room they gave me, had massive bed bugs. The city should check this matter, it isn't fun to be eaten by bed bugs, nor healthy.

May as well name this hotel the B&B Inn. Bug & Beating Inn. The bed bugs and beatings are terrible. I recorded the bed bugs and told the manager. He said he didn't want to see it, that I must have brought them from home. I also had to listen to someone in the next room over get beat up by her boyfriend all night while the front desk kept calling my phone to check on the abusee and the abuser. My power kept going out and they said they would leave me and my guest in the dark if it went off again. The manager also made a statement that this isnt my house so I can't have a hotplate in the room. He is rude and smelled of alcohol and drugs. My room also smelled like freshly smoked crack and the smell also stuck in my clothing.

I really should give this place a half star just for the cheap price. The rooms are bad, bedbugs are bad, I mean I itched all night. Had to get up and leave. Lady at the front desk no customer service experience at all. Very Very rude. Never ever staying here again.

May be the biggest bedbug's nest in the Carolinas, if you stay, please do not unpack, seal your laundry in plastic bags, soak them in alcohol and wash them… Also burn your pijamas.

I was very happy for the price! They have free high speed Wi-Fi (not slow like some places), Flat Screen TVs with cable, mini-fridges and microwaves. They also have free coffee in the morning and are located on the same side of the road next to the QT gas station where you can get all the other basic stuff you might want or need!

This place is ok. The only problem is the rooms I found roches and the price for the place is not conviniente.

They need to burn this joint down and start over. Cockroaches! Big and plentiful! Deeesgusting! If you want to get a cheap prostitute or some crack heroin and good knows what all else or may be get killed or robbed by the junkies or hood rat partiers then this is the place for you!

Never seen so many roaches and whatever else bugs and my life I been to cheaper hotels and never experienced this bad of a infestation of roaches. It is 2 am I have not slept because the roaches are crawling on bed. This building needs to be sprayed on a regular day by day basis this is bad very very very bad.

No coffee in room swimming pool looked destroyed, not up to date, but a place to, be while apt. Was being remodeled.

It isnt the best in the area, but for the price it is hard to beat. Rooms are tidy, and in my experience the staff have done their best to be accomodating. In my last two stays, the cable was out, and the a/c was little less than cool. (Probably needing more coolant? It was an older model).

I enjoyed very much it was clean closed to a store people were nice in our time of need will visit again.

I wish I could give this hotel — 5 stars. I stopped to take a nap and considered staying over, but the owner's business practices that irritated me at the time, prevented it. I hadn't read the reviews and I was angry. Now I'm happy that he may have saved me from a worse experience! The owner told me personally that he would deny anything that I posted, so instead of leaving any doubt about what a disgusting hell hole this hotel is, I've posted pictures of their sanitation grade, mouse droppings in the tattered dining area, trash in the walkways, trashy pool, etc. I DID NOT sit in the bathroom and could not have been paid to bathe there. The non — smoking room I requested had the stench of millions of cigarettes and I laid on my jacket in full clothes because I didn't trust the cleanliness of the stained, cigarette burned sheets. I showered IMMEDIATELY when I arrived home as a safety precaution. SPEED past this place if you have ANY other option. There are better cheap options. I'm sure there are empty dog houses.

This relax inn is very clean and no bugs of any kind. The staff is very nice and helpful. We would defiantly stay here again.

No where near as dirty or bug infested as other reviews suggested, took the risk though the reviews were bad and was really surprised. Room was rather clean, walls could have been cleaned a little better. No bed bugs or roaches… and I looked. Pool was closed and covered, air conditioner wasn't very cold but kept the room cool. All and all not bad.

ROACH MOTEL! July 1-3, 2016 My boyfriend and I got a room for our Fourth of July weekend. Beware! A bargain is not a bargain. We stayed one night and decided to stay another night but had to switch rooms, the room that we had had already been reserved. We were moved to room 164. Wasn't in that room much that day, even paid for one more night… thats when we realized we weren't the only ones spending the night in that room. Not haunted… Infested!. I saw a baby roach on the headboard. I kept looking around the room and noticed one on the ceiling and another roach on the door behind the hinge. Roaches we're coming out everywhere. I killed ten and that was ten too many… we packed our things and left! Rooms are not as clean as the pictures you see online. I've stayed in some nice places and some not-so-nice. But this place is the worst by far! … and the walls looked like they haven't been cleaned EVER!. We had to go back the next morning to speak to the Manager, told him what we had found and how unhappy we were… only wanted a refund for the one night. The night that we saw all of the roaches … he offered us another room. And refused to give us a refund … needless to say it ruined our holiday weekend together. We weren't about to spend another night in a ROACH MOTEL! So take my advice PLEASE! If you don't want to go back home with more pets than you already have… And I pray we haven't! Don't Stay at the Relax Inn in Monroe North Carolina.

This place is disgusting! They have bedbugs and roaches crawling around everywhere. They wouldn't give us a refund. They need to be shut down! I wouldn't recommend staying at this place!

I wanted to check in for a week, the old lady at the front desk was rude and the room was filthy and smelled pretty bad. I decided to go somewhere else.

I came in from out of town I went in the room wasn't in there 30 mins seen a big roach then pulled the covers back and seen bed bugs I went to office got my refund and left! This is nasty I will never stop here again! By the reviews this is a on going problem!

Dirty, Major Bed bugs problem. Ownership should consider remodeling.

I have seen alot of bad comments about this so it lowersmy rating of it but when we called there was a guy named Kim on the phone and he was really chill, collected, and nice.

I am speechless at these responses, the good thing about this place is that its a affordable. Other then that… I was creeped out because I hate bugs I had my boyfriend put all my bags back in the car. And I stayed and when I woke up I had him, go get them. The hotels roach infestation is disgusting. I warmed up some food and a baby one ran out of no where to the top of the microwave. Relax is false advertisement we even had a roach crawl across the bare head board. Smh other the price I'm dispointed, it is literally a place to lay your head. Smh. Who ever your pest professional is they need to get glasses or a new job or stop lying cause it not cool how bad those roaches are. We had to throw away are left overs because we didn't them all over the food. Do better.

This place is horrible there ARE bed bugs and roaches in the rooms it's nasty and they would not refund my money.

Its a relaxing place and not so expensive so you have extra money to shop around…

Needs work I pulled up with my family and immediately cancelled reservation and left I didn't have a good feeling staying the although the staff was nice.

Nothing fancy but clean, safe and friendly if you just need an affordable place to stay for the night. Stayed here while laid over in Charlotte area for the night and for less than $50, definitely got my money's worth.

I will never stay her again they got bed bugs here I told the owner and he said sorry my bad I will but you in a nother room I said its ok because I am leaveing and fileing a complaint he said no no you dont have to do that I said yes the hell I am because you got bed bugs and probably roaches.

This property is reasonable, clean and in a good location. The GM, Sanjay Desai, was very supportive of our unique situation and provided excellent customer service. If you read a previous review, you will see that a previous guest mentioned that the GM remembered his name which influenced him to come back. In this day and time with everything moving at such a fast pace, having a caring individual in a lead position in hospitality is refreshing. The room had everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi was free and the cost for the room was extremely reasonable. I would suggest this property to anyone visiting in the area.

I enjoyed my stay at this motel. I felt welcomed by their staff. I will stay at this hotel when I come back to Monroe.

No refunds but couldn't stay. Human pee on couch, dead bugs. Carpet gross on your feet.
