I'm sad to see this iconic motel/hotel go to the dogs. I've been coming here since I was a kid. Now my wife I stayed here going on 9 years. Other then the very uncomfortable beds and the lack of service, the place hasn't changed. Unless the the beds are charged we probably won't be back.
This place is disgusting. The room smells terrible even with the air on high for hours and the website says that one room sleeps three, but it doesn’t. The other room was said to have two queen beds and it doesn’t. The bathroom is grimey and the entire area feels gross and dirty and the lock on the bathroom door does not work, plus the entire handle is close to falling off. The bottom lock on our front door also didn’t work and the breakfast was lacking in many areas.
