We have been snowed in at the old Edwards inn this last weekend, celebrating our 35 wedding anniversary. It has been so magical and memorable. The employees are working so hard behind the scenes. Such a wonderful resort.

Great couples getaway with beautiful setting and exquisite service. And then, when you want time apart, there is golf, shopping and the spa all easily accessible. Beautiful drive up the mountain as well.

We just got engaged there yesterday and stayed at the Satula suite. Amazing accommodations and wished we had longer to stay but will be back!

Highly recommend this place. The staff was over the top — every single person we came in contact with. They thought of everything from champagne/cocktails, Dove bars at any time, even umbrellas at the rooms and spa/restaurants. The spa was outstanding! I can’t wait to return. The cottages were just the right amount of space for a couple and the bathroom was amazing! Can’t say enough good stuff about this place!

We chose to go to Old Edwards Inn for my birthday weekend. Everything about our stay was fabulous. The staff was top notch, spa was amazing, and food was heavenly! We stayed at the lodge and enjoyed watching the snowfall, and smelling the fire from the fire pit outside. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely one bedroom suite with two balconies, two full bathrooms. The bar is very country upscale English, beautiful dark paneled walls, very inviting. We miss an inroom coffee/tea service. Disappointed we couldn't get dinner reservations at Madison's, the hotel restaurant. Highlands is a lovely mountain town.

Celebrated my birthday this past weekend! The service was 5 star the rooms were spacious, the spa was delightful and the staff was beyond exceptional. Already booked a return visit and can't wait for another facial and massage. Also dinner at Madison's was delicious and the staff was beyond helpful and educated when it came to food allergies! I would highly recommend Old Edwards Inn and Spa!

We started coming here last year to celebrate wedding anniversaries and now the tradition will continue! This is a beautiful Inn with a wonderful staff. We love that it's just a 2 Hour drive from Atlanta and you enter the beautiful mountains of North Carolina! Its the perfect setting to celebrate any occasion! We are already looking forward to next November to come back and celebrate our 41st anniversary!

We did not stay here but we visited a few times. We had a spa day which was delightful. When you pay the price they charge you expect nothing less than tip notch service and it was certainly delivered. The staff, service, spa rooms, all equaled an amazing experience. We ate at the wine garden twice and found the staff to be very friendly. Food was also very good!

Great old world feel with modern standards and friendly helpful staff. Nicely positioned right in the middle of downtown. Not being able to make early morning coffee in the room cost a star.

Went to lunch in The Garden, it was excellent. I had the burger specialty with a cup of tomato soup. Service was excellent seating was outside near the waterfall, comfortable and intimate feeling. The staff were all great, seating was a breeze. Register with the hostesses and the immediately sent a text with a specific wait time. Were were able to do some shopping in the unique gift shop, and when out table was ready we recieved another text. Table service was impeccable. The food was amazing. Prices were reasonable and posted on the menus you could review before e end starting in. Even though it was busy, we never felt rushed to finish. An excellent experience we plan to partake of again soon.

We went here for a nice lunch. We were seated rather quickly in the Garden. Our seats were near the waterfall. Waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. The food was superb. I had the burger and the cook was spot on. The Tomato bisk was creamy and just right. We had a trout dip with special crackers. The prices were as expected. A very enjoyable experience and we will be going back.

Incredible spa experience. We did the blue mountain couples shower and then stayed at the spa for the rest of the day. Meditation room was divine. Took a nap and then had lunch — amazing service. Reasonable price and incredible experience. My wife and I are going to do this every time we come to Highlands/Cashiers. The entire staff was amazing. Particularly Sparkle, Mitchell, and Aaron.

Attended a clients breathtaking wedding and was able to enjoy the grounds as well as the spa amenities. IT IS A MUST! Thanks for such a relaxing time… if only I could of stayed longer. If I am ever back in the area this is my first choice, Mother Nature simply at its finest!

Had a most enjoyable stay at this top notch resort— until the morning of checkout. A mix-up in room numbers by the front desk resulted in the maid knocking on our door early waking us up. An hour later maintenance men were at our door trying to fix our lock which was fine. After such an enjoyable evening the early arousal was rather a bummer — But the staff made it all good with sincere apologies and a free lunch. This is a class resort. Mistakes and all.

We chose to celebrate our 20 years of "US" at Old Edwards Inn and Spa and we chose right! We felt as if they were waiting just for us, the moment we checked in. Staff was professional, courteous and readily available without being intrusive. The grounds are immaculate and offer secluded areas to retreat and relax or areas to enjoy the company of the other guests. Our 4 night stay was beyond our expectations and we look forward to returning again. If you are contemplating Old Edwards Inn as your destination to relax and rejuvenate, I encourage you to look no further. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to celebrate 20 years of marriage in such a beautiful, welcoming and relaxing location.

This is one of the nicest restaurants in Highlands North Carolina. The ambience is wonderful. It's a quiet restaurant the inside is very comfortable. The food is typically extremely good.

A 5 star establisment obviously. But I never actually stayed in the hotel. I've eaten at the restaurant and I have been to the bar. It's very nice but expensive. Not for tacky tourists. You should dress nice and try not to act like a redneck if you go here.

We were there this past weekend for a babymoon. This hotel is so nice. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The spa was great and offered a maternity massage. I also indulged in a facial with was relaxing as well. We ate at the restaurant Madison’s for breakfast and dinner. Great food. Ate at the spa restaurant and their chicken salad was delicious! Definitely recommend this place and the town is super cute and charming. Lots of shopping and good food.

World-class resort. Staff is extremely professional and helpful. The resort grounds are gorgeous, and the original part of the Inn has so much character and charm. If you plan to eat at Madison's, be sure to make a reservation well in advance. It books up very quickly on holiday weekends. Old Edwards is the class of Highlands NC.

Truly cannot say enough good things about this place. Staff is friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable of the area. The room (we stayed in a private cottage) was phenomenal! The atmosphere of the entire facility is simply perfection. Made our honeymoon visit truly something magical!

The Inn and Spa are wonderful. The staff is incredibly nice, the rooms are beautiful and clean, the surrounding area is amazing. Definitely a place that we will come back to.

We honeymooned here and it was beautiful! The staff and everyone was so nice and helpful from our arrival to our departure! I loved the heated floors in the bathroom in our room and the fact that they had free ice cream bars! The bed was so amazingly comfortable it made me not want to get up and explore! I would recommend everyone visit at least once!

While visiting a friends house in Cashiers … we enjoy the restaurants at Old Edwards … Arts Lodge and Gsme room was a great place to watch football while enjoying cocktails. Madison’s was delish and the service in every place is top notch … wonderful cozy feel to this place.

BEAUTIFUL! Breakfast is amazing too. The Hummingbird lounge is very nice and perfect for an after dinner glass of wine and dessert! Didn't try the spa due to time restraints but EVERYONE tells me it's so worth it — it's on my list for the next time we visit.

Let me start by saying please do not work for them first because I use to work for old Edwards and let me tell you it was great but they don’t pay you at all, I worked a buy out that I never got paid for witched they promise to pay me and they never gave me my security deposits back at all. Tried getting in contact with them but they will ignore you or make up something so they don’t pay you the money back Very unprofessional! They never have enough workers for the simple reason that they over work everyone and don’t pay enough. I had too references and I was told I was going to get paid for it and I also didn’t get the money for that either it’s just a game for Human Resources which I will be going further with it. Besides all of that you will have very good managers and really good workers Robert Mickey is great, Elizabeth Gantt and Ryan awesome :) Karen knows what she is doing for sure. While I was working for them I didn’t have any complaints. I left because they couldn’t afford me I am worth way more then 7.25 an hour. I am wealthy but that doesn’t mean step all over me. So I have to prove a point now I have to do it on social media. I am not the type of guy to do this but I am looking out for the ones that can’t talk for themselves.

We went to the Old Edwards Inn for the Johnson and Impeduglia wedding on 10/21/17 hearing great things about this resort and its great service come to find you have one rotten egg that works there that ruined the entire experience for a lot of guest. Cameron with the short blonde hair was the young lady's name who worked the wedding event who was just a nightmare. The first of many offenses that Cameron did was just after the wedding, we were all walking to the outside reception area where they had wine and champagne on trays waiting on us. Everyone is free to grab one except when it came to my girlfriend, who was stop by a manager and asked if she had her ID on her… she did not at the time so she could not get alcohol, okay fair, but the comment Cameron made was not, right in front of us she says very clearly " she looks like she's 12" right in front of that manager. I don't know how you guys conduct business but servers should never be allowed to openly mock guest like that, and what's worse is the manager there did nothing to stop or scold her about it. It really hurt my girlfriend's feelings that she said it was just rude, she's 24 by the way. Once we got the ID everything should have been good right… nope the wrath of Cameron continued. She goes around asking everyone for their ID's as she sees fit because she and I quote "loves catching underage drinkers.

My cousin got married here. I'm 23, my parents were with me, and we happened to have a photo of my ID, however, I was told I couldn't drink even though some of my younger cousins were drinking. This isn't some public bar, I had a dress on and no wallet. MAKE SURE you bring your actual ID because they don't tel you ahead of time when they should if they are going to ID adults.

Spa facilities are absolutely beautiful. When my appointment at the spa was unexpectedly cancelled, they went above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of and still had a great experience. Will absolutely be back!

One of the best stays I've had and my husband and I travel a lot. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit the best it could be. Our room was wonderful and I did love the heated floors and towel rack, the deep tub was great as well. Our spa treatments were awesome, very refreshing and relaxing. We spent over 5 hours just soaking up the peacefulness of the spa. Facials, messages, pedi and lunch in our robes was the best. What better way to spend the day on a cold winter day! Thanks to all the staff that went out of their way to make our stay the best it could have been. A special thank you to Lauren, Elizabeth, John and the whole spa staff. What a wonderful experience it was.

I could not be more displeased with this organization. They claim to be accommodating, which they are not. The price is outrageous for what you end up with. And their employees seem to completely not care about their guest. For the money you will spend, I highly suggest you search for other options.

My wife and I spent a evening there last week. We stayed in one of the Cottages in the back of the property. It was comfortable and very pleasant. We wine with a snack at the Wine garden when we first arrived. We had dinner at Madison's that evening. We ordered room service for breakfast and ate on the porch in the morning. All three meals were wonderful. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. We will be going back there again.

Second time staying at Old Edwards and it did not disappoint! The accommodations are worth every penny! My first time taking advantage of the Spa and it was hands downs one of the best Spa experiences I've ever had! This was about my fourth time having breakfast at Madison's and I have to say the breakfast was not up to my expectations, based solely on previous visits. The service was spot on as usual but the food was not all that spectacular, my biscuits were cold, bacon was salty (I am a saltaholic so this is really saying something) and just an overall disappointment. Maybe a new cook? Not sure but whatever it was was truly not as it was two years ago or any of the previous times I've eaten there. Overall, Highly recommend The Old Edwards Inn and Spa, may hesitate before having Madison's again.

My wife and myself just got back from an amazing experience at the Old Edwards inn and I still enjoy talking about how incredible everything was handled by the staff and all the pampering amenities the hotel / spa has to offer. Back in august last year, we stayed at the hotel and observed how well trained staff has such an impact of your experience, that we decided to have our wedding ceremony held at the Old Edwards inn. The special event planner Jessica was beyond helpful to organize our celebration. Every single guest was raving about their accommodations and of course the dinner we had, prepared by Johannes Klapdohr. What an artist he is! There is a say " You get what you pay for " in this case it is " You get double and triple what you imagine for what you pay for! We can't wait to get back there again and again.

I hate to give Old Edwards a negative review because it is an excellent hotel and the staff is great. The only reason I am rating negatively is because I was a bridesmaid here for my sister and the wedding planner that they arranged was without a doubt the wicked witch of the west. Elizabeth Fletcher is the rudest wedding planner I have ever seen. She yells at the staff whom were doing the best job to begin with and even bosses around the bride and groom and not at all in a polite manner. Old Edwards, I highly recommend that you get someone else to run your weddings given your gorgeous facilities. This lady will destroy your wedding business.

Just got home from 4 days at Old Edwards Inn and it was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect and wonderful for a slow pace relaxing time. The pools are perfect, very refreshing and relaxing! The cottage we stayed in was perfect charm of old and new! The grounds are amazing; every where you walk it is breathtaking! The staff is wonderful, so kind and helpful and on their A Game! The wait staff was friendly and helpful! The head chef is great, he has a wonderful personality and makes fantastic food! I wasn't ever dissatisfied but blown away and always eating more than I should to taste all the wonderful food! The Farm is just jaw dropping gorgeous! It would be perfect for a wedding. Wow! Can't wait to come back with family! Thank you Robert and Melissa for an amazing experience! Great job.

My wife and I vacation for our anniversary at various places around NC and the OEI has been our best stop. The spa is hands-down, the best spa I've ever been to. The men's dressing room has amazing showers, mineral pool and steam room. The restaurant serves some incredible food and you can walk down to the Ugly Dog Pub for drinks and if you're lucky, some bluegrass music (I believe Nitrograss plays there every Wednesday night and they're pretty good! ).

My brother had his wedding at The Farmhouse this week. It was one of the most picturesque places I have seen in the USA. Highly recommend it for scenic views, tranquil atmosphere, and a great staff.
