No stars, It's definitely not what it used to be. You have to choose now between having a fridge and microwave, or nothing at all. Every room smells like a smoking room, and there was a random knocking on my wall up until 3am. The only plus is that they accept cash without a huge deposit, for obvious reasons of course. Let this be your very last option if you're visiting Greenville or if you need a quick room for any other reason. As they say, "you get what you pay for".

No mini fridge. No microwave. No phone in your room. Old big box tv. Drink machine steals your money and they could care less. Drugs and prosititutes everywhere. Bad internet connection. It should get 0 stars.

If I could I wouldn’t give this place any stars dirty linens room was really smelly and I believe drug dealers and prostitutes. Me and wife stayed two night both of us thank god had our conceal carry license we both slept with our fingers literally on the triggers the front door was so flimsy their is no way it was secure saw what appeared to be blood on the bathroom door and the website falsely showed a updated room which it was not and I see why they say no refunds because you want to leave when you see the room. They lied about this place and I will never stay here again so Please unless you like being around crackheads prostitutes drugs and drug dealers spend the extra money and go somewhere decent I wish we had.

To pricey n not someplace I will go back to or choose to stay at! Not worth the money you pay… Went to get in the bed, pulled the covers back n hair was all on the sheets n pillow… M let's say we left after we saw the blood on the sheets! I will never return here again!

Cheapest place in town… roaches, crackheads and all.

Everything was jus tragic! So it's cold as heck outside and the heat don't work then on top of that I tried to call the front desk and come to find out lol the phone line was completely cut.

HONEST REVIEW, this hotel has surely went down, if you’re looking for comfort do not come here this is a place for people who are looking for a quick screw or just a place to lay your head, I was given a room with no television First I asked for non-smoking and then went back to the front desk and asked for a room with a television and without a horrific smell and to make sure it’s non-smoking, the front desk clerk then made me a new key. I went to the new room, walked in and it was a room where somebody had already used it! I mean literally! there were double beds, smelled horrible and people were already in there the blankets were off the bed the pillows have been moved this is clearly a room that somebody had just used blankets were off the bed the pillows have been moved this was clearly room that somebody had just used I immediately turned around went back to the front desk and asked for my money back I was really upset because I had just rented a room from them three days ago However that room I felt was clean enough which is why I returned with my big, but little did I know I was going to receive that type of service where they would give someone a room that was clearly used I felt very disrespected … this hotel will never receive any more money from me and to be quite honest you’re better off going to Greenville Motel or the Camelot at least they won’t give you a room where somebody clearly used, and that’s if you’re looking for a cheap motel.

Asked for a non smoking room. Got one that smelled like a smoker redneck's trailer house. This is also one of the most guetto looking motel. I sweat there was a drug addict staying here. She looked roughed up. She walked into the receiption and walked right out. It looks like from one of those movies where people have died into. Horrible. For your own sake, find someplace else to stay. It's no joke.

Good service. I checked in late so the room was in a off place and had to park a ways down. You really have to keep to yourself though because people honestly we're kind of sketchy. So be careful.

This place is absolutely disgusting! There was mold in the shower and on the certain! The sheets where all stained the door didn't lock all the way and there where roaches. They would not refund our money! This place need to be closed down!

Not a bad place for the price. Staff is friendly but the daily and nightly commotion with the residents is ongoing but it is what it is.

They really work with you on pricing! Rooms were clean! Breakfast was good too.

Don't go here. It isnt worth it. I came here for vacation with my significant other and she ended up leaving due to discomfort and I encouraged her not to stay. The room had roaches, smelled like smoke but was non smoking, sheets were stained, walls were cracked and smeared with paint, no fridge, no microwave. It was a nightmare.

The experience was really horrible and it gave me a bad vibe about ever going back there to stay whether I pay for it or it's free. They need to get it together and make sure all rooms are up to par for there visitors.

Terrible! Loud groups of people hanging out all over this place. Room was run down, dirty and you could not close the bathroom door unless you put the commode seat up. Sheets were very dingy and beds ready to fall apart. Not at all what the web site portrayed. Price was reasonable but would never stay there again.

This place sucks! Smells like wet dog in the rooms. Bed bugs and ticks all over the bed and bath room. Worst experienced I ever had in greenville. If I could give them negative stars, this place would be — 3 stars.

This place is disgusting, the rooms are nasty and they have roaches. When I stayed in got a deluxe room with one bed and a pull out couch. As soon as I go in their are roaches in the toilet and some on the wall. The bathtub was dirty, the couch cushions were nasty and the pull out couch didn't have a fitted sheet or pillows to go with it and it costs me almost $70 and I told them why was it so much and they say if I want a room for $60 I wont have a microwave or refrigerator. And the people at the front are rude. The housekeepers just walk right in if the door isn't locked they do not even knock on the door. And when it got to about 1 in the morning people were fighting and yelling and their was a ton of police out there. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone they should tear the place down.

I wish I could give them negative stars! This place is infested with ROACHES! They need to close down immediately. We booked through Expedia and luckily they refunded our money but it was just gross!

It was the very worst place I have ever stayed in. Opened the door and the smell was enough to make me run. The lamps did not work and vanity was chipped away. And the electrical plugs would not work. So curling iron had to be used in the dark by the bed. They would not return our money so we stayed and never slept. People talked all night in other rooms and we could make out their conversations. The heating unit would scare you half to death went it went on and again when it went off. The bath tub was so nasty I would not even get in it to shower. No glass to take my pills, — in fact — no nothing that you find at any motel.! THEY SHOULD BE FORCED TO CLOSE — RIGHT NOW!

You can tell they're trying to improve. Flat screen TV in our room; hardwood floors that looked new. Staff was SUPER nice, and didnt complain at all when we asked for a refund, and was even sympathetic. Thats why they get 2 stars instead of one. You could tell the woman in the front office almost didnt want to rent out these rooms, she knew they werent great. Our room had 4 dead roaches and over 20 dead bed bugs on the floor. Air conditioning unit was old and brown, with no labels to explain how it worked. I know that it was only $51 for a night which is a good deal, But we had also stayed at a Motel 6 the day before in jacksonville, that was only $46 and the room was amazing compared to rodeway. If I start to hear theyve improved on cleanliness I may revise my review. If you try to stay here, make sure you check out your room and make up your mind within 15 minutes, because no refunds after that.

Dirty rooms, service terrible, very old.

When you're traveling with three dogs it is hard to find a place that will allow them for less than $20 a pet. The guy at the desk was very friendly when I called and said he'd only charge us $20 for all three and yes it was kinda a dump but it was good to sleep after 24+ hours awake. Seemed like a few sketchy individuals were around but we weren't bothered and it was pretty quiet. They had a very large grassy area for the dogs to walk around and a trash can for poo bags. Overall, it was a very good, pet friendly place. If you're traveling with fur babies it's a very good, cheap option!

HORRIBLE! I stayed for 30 minutes and left. But then again, I paid for a cheap motel room — I only needed a place to rest my head for the night. Walked in the room and it was horrendous. My door did not close all the way (and I was ground level) there was about an inch and a half gap between the door frame and were there door rested. BEWARE there is a 15 minute refund policy… RIDICULOUS! I was only in the room for 30 because I was on the phone making other arrangements. Called the 800 number since at check out the manager was not in, and the 800 number called the location and they have no idea when the manager would be back in… I work in hospitality. I know that renting a room for $45 means you are going to get a crap room… but the comforter was torn to shreds, there was a mildew smell in the room, my door did not close all the way and I found 1 dead cockroach as well as one alive one… 30minutes in this room and no refund or even partial is ridiculous… THE SANITATION SCORE IS 70.5!

I was hoping there was a negative star available, definitely doesn't even come close to receiving 1 star. Lets just start off by warning you of the sanitation rating, 70.5 I mean that should be a sign that the hotel should be condemned. This was the only hotel available in Greenville because of the football game and it being Parents Weekend, but even if this is the ONLY HOTEL AVAILABLE I suggest staying in your car. This was by far the absolute worst hotel I have EVERRRR stayed in. Too many roaches to count, half of the lamps on the wall didn't work, light in bathroom would never turn off, huge disgusting dust balls in the vents, air conditioned leaked like no other, etc. The bugs were the worst part of the entire stay… as soon as we get to the hotel we pull the comforters off and a roach crawled out, we had to go out and buy cleaning supplies and roach traps. We hung out in the outside hallway area because we felt it was cleaner than sitting in our rooms, and we got to see everyone's reactions when going in to their room for the first time, a handful ended up leaving. Word of advice NEVER and seriously NEVER stay at "ROACHWAY INN"

WORST HOTEL EVER! The only one's who seems to like it there were the roaches which were all over the room. The AC unit and heater added to the already pungent smell of mildew which is caused by the constant leaking and soaking wet carpet, when we turned it to heat we were overwhelmed by the smell of burnt hair. The white shower curtain was green because it was covered in mold plus the light over the sink would not turn off. To top everything off the owner charged us $150 dollars a night because it was family weekend and all of the hotels were booked. This place needs to be burned down and rebuilt under new management. Don't forget the health score of 70

Worst hotel of all time. Tried sleeping in our car instead. Bugs everywhere. Immediately went to the store and bought roach traps and disinfectants. Had to buy shower shoes too but that didn't help the amount of mold covering the shower curtain. We bought sheets too since the ones on the bed were stained and covered in burn holes. The air conditioner leaked so the carpet was soaking wet all around it. Half the lights didn't work and the light above the sink wouldn't turn off. This was not a choice but the only hotel we could find left in Greenville when we were coming for a football game. Advice is to drive home after the game no matter the distance vs. Staying in this hotel aka roachway inn and suites.

My husband and I stayed for two nights over the July 4th weekend. On the way home Sunday I noticed what I thought was the beginning of a small rash. By Monday morning, my arms and legs were covered in what I later found out were Bed Bug Bites. I immediately treated my bedding and the clothes I had taken with me. The bites are now starting to itch less, thanks to the Atarax and bite cream I was give by my doctor. I called the hotel and was told that "Lawrence" was not available and they did not know when he would be. I left my name and number but I'm sure that unless I call back I won't get a response. That's the biggest complaint. The room itself was not top notch clean, and the air conditioning was very bad. They didn't have ice buckets so we were given plastic bags to put ice into. My husband had to go into the supply room (next door) and grab the toilet paper we needed. I know that you "get what you pay for", but next time we'll have to pay more to get a decent room. I would not stay there again.
