My room was wonderful, clean & the staff was very friendly! The breakfast was great also. I will stay here again.

Very clean, organized and friendly staff. My only complaint was the view from the top window. The trees need a little trimming other then that I had a great experience.

This review has to take into account that it is a 2 star hotel. The rennovations that have been made acquit the hotel nicely and will help the brand. Bathrooms in the single unit are a bit small and there needs to be a towel rack. It has a nice little open shelf, though for placing your toiletries. Flat screen TV on the wall over small working desk with built in outlet and USB charger, nice touch. Ironing Board and iron are tucked away inside "armoire" of a closet. May be larger in double unit (? ). Did not eat breakfast, but seemed standard with waffle maker, bagles, cereal, etc. But not a hot cooked breakfast. Ice machines on first and third floor, but vending machines on each of the three levels. Great desk service, and Aaliyah was ver pleasant and patient! One last thing, for a 2 star, the bed was very comfy and enough pillows provided. Floor unit AC worked well. Enjoyed my stay, recommend it, and will stay again.

This is a horrible place to stay. Toilet was broken and the bath tub held water in the bottom while taking a shower. Spoke to front desk clerk and she was rude. Do not go to this nasty hotel!

Phone rep was excellent. When I arrived, the front desk young lady was so sweet and kind. The room itself is newer looking. I was pleasantly shocked. They have padded bench under the window so it could actualky sleep another person. Pretty decor in the newer rooms. I have stayed here multuple times now and the service is excellent. Housekeeping corrects any issues. Destiny and Amanda at the front are so pleasant. I find peace here when I need a break from stress. I have only stayed in the remodeled rooms and they are soo nice. The price is excellent for the room. Great job Microtel.

Currently undergoing renovation. Staff is friendly, however the other guests currently seem to think this is a great place to get high. The entire 3rd floor smells of marijuana.

The young lady apologized and it's not her fault in my opinion. The toilet was seat up like it was cleaned but it was dirty with a poop stain on the actual seat. I cleaned the bathroom myself. If they can make sure that housekeeping are actually changing out the linen and cleaning instead of staging, they would get 5 stars from me.

Easy in & out. Quiet room. Comfortable bed. Nice towels. Variety breakfast. Micro/fridge in room not expect.

Run down rooms, uneducated staff. Looking for some where cheap to cook up a batch of meth. This is your place! If not go across the street to the Holiday Inn!

Easy access to I-40. Basic budget accommodation, clean, well-lit, plenty of parking and restaurants nearby. Our room was standard Microtel (bed, bath, closet, drawers, TV, minifridge, and microwave). Nice staff — on check-in, our first room had been smoked in and the desk clerk reassigned us immediately. The free breakfast is also basic — breads, cereal, waffles, coffee, juice, milk. If you want protein, head to the Waffle House or Jake's Diner next door. I HIGHLY recommend dinner at the Egyptian restaurant behind the property, too.

The Greensboro, NC, Microtel Inn is a very clean and well-kept facility. The rooms are kept very clean and the location to things in Greensboro is very good. The staff is very friendly. The motel is very conveniently located to I-40. Will be staying here quite a bit over the next 4 years while my twin sons are in college at Guilford College. Highly recommend to everyone!

I would rather sleep in my CAR than stay at this establishment overnight. The one night I did stay, I left my 90.00 Bluetooth speaker there. By accident. They called me the following morning to let me know that they had found it, but when I went to retrieve it, the story was "we actually haven't found it yet. " It's been over a week. I just want my speaker. Piss poor staff.

The Microtel Inn defly wasnt a 5 star hotel however the room was extra clean, water pressure & temperature awesome & safe great. If you need a decent room for a reasonable amount overnight then you have found it here. I would consider staying here in the future. The staff was extra friendly & helpful. Remember, you get what you pay for however with this hotel you get a little extra for a lower price.

Crawling creatures on sidestands when we woke up. Hallway smelled of pets. Big come down from stay 6 years ago.

Location was good. Room layout size was good. Room was musty smelling and had some gnats. Service to the room during the day was incomplete.

The room smelled like someone had hotboxed it. Everything in the room besides the tub, toilet, and bed was dirty. Bed was clean but hard as a rock and the pillows were pretty bad. No microwave or mini fridge in room. Outdated TV. But hey it was cheap.

We needed a place to stop and stay for the night. Called ahead and said we were enroute. The woman at the front desk was anything BUT hospitable. Talked poorly about our party as we walked in to another guest.

HORRIBLE Stay… I am only giving it one star because I cannot give it less than that. In fact, the ONLY good thing about this place was the location. First night on check in, I tried to explain a somewhat simple booking issue to the young lady at the front desk and she could not understand what I was saying. I tried no less than 5 times to no avail. Why are you working at the front desk of a hotel if you do not understand booking!?!? When I explained the same situation to a different lady the next morning, she immediately understood what I was saying and was able to assist. Now when speaking to the young lady on the first night, I asked to speak to the manager and was told the manager would be mad that she was being called because this was not an emergency. I was told the manager was not on site… it was only 8pm… not the wee hours of the night or morning. I never spoke to a manager that night even after I insisted she call the manager. She did call her but the manager did not respond to the calls. Upon entering the room… my family and I started taking showers. My error was not checking the bathroom first. When it was my turn to take a shower, I noticed red in the tub and on the hair dryer with hair all over the dryer. NONE of my family had red dye in their hair. This means the bathroom was dirty. I sent my kids down to ask for extra towels and they were refused. I then went down to ask for the towels myself and noticed I was now speaking to the manager.

Paid $61 per night for a $30 room. Needs updating. Bowed mattresses likely indicates they haven't replaced beds in a significant amount of time. The rooms were technically very clean despite the aged condition of the dark matted carpeting, old fixtures and furniture and stale smell of cigarette smoke. I'm surprised because reviews I've seen showed three stars and this was def a two star room. Two stars (not one) because staff is amazingly friendly and professional and they do the best with what they have. Great smiles and attitudes improve the dank quality of the rooms. Continental breakfast was surprisingly adequate and refreshing. Enough tables for everyone. Free parking; near lots of food and conveniences. Something I loved, lots of wall outlets for my devices to use, along with the free Wi-Fi. If you are only there for sleeping, and you're used to 2-star rooms, you'll be fine. If you want to stretch out, relax and enjoy your room, I would skip this hotel.

I checked in late for a one night stay, the room and building overall were clean and well maintained. The key machine was having issues coding the key, but the front desk attendant was polite and walked me to my room to insure the key worked properly. Overall the experience was very nice.

Fairly convenient location. Clean rooms and bedding. Shower pressure was very weak but that's the only real negative. It was perfectly acceptable for the price.

Really nice rooms and location for the price. Only thing I didn't like was the TV was older then me and I'm not young. It's something I can look past for the price however since I travel for work but if I was trying to relax in the hotel for a few hours each day it would be totally different.

The rooms are super comfortable. A family hotel to rest in peace. Excellent cleaning, large parking lot. Variety in the breakfast, including fruit.

The staff was kind and courteous. The room was clean except for a pair of athletic socks on closet floor so that area was clearly missed in cleaning process. The amenities are what you would expect in a budget hotel. My son and I were on the third floor. It was very loud and noisy both nights. On one night the room next door to us was partying with 5 or more people in the room. They were cursing, playing loud music, and smoking (cigarette and marijuana smell all in my room and hallway). I spoke with front desk 3 times asking for them to address. They did and it got louder. This went on from 11pm-4am. It was not until I indicated I was calling police due to safety concerns that they were removed but this was after all night of being up. I requested a full refund on departure and was told I would have to talk to Sandra Bates the district manager about that. I filed a customer care complaint and I also contacted the corporate office to make them aware. I am concerned that the staff there needs more training and more of them on the third shift to better handle these types of situations for their own safety and the safety of guests like my son and myself. Customer care and the corporate office were very kind and apologetic for what we endured. I have called Ms Bates two times and left all of my contact information and yet to have heard back from her which I find utmost unprofessional when this type of thing is going on for guests and the staff this person manages.

There was an issue with my original room and they switched me. The breakfast was not great.

Bed was phenomenal. Little bit of a sketchy part of town but hotel didn't make it feel that way. Good security.

Room is very small and certainly not the cleanest, floors needed to be vacuumed. Could not find the bunny ears to make the reception on the TV clear. Beds were hard. Vending machines broke. Just horrible. If we weren't so tired we would have left and found another hotel.

Best hotel and Great Staff We recently stayed two nights at Microtel Inn by Wyndham Greensboro and found it truly outstanding in every way. It is beautiful and spacious. Every aspect of the hotel amenities, service and atmosphere are amazing. It is also located very close to all the Malls and Restaurant is within walking distance. This is a real gem to find in our favorite city — we will be back.

If you want dirty and smelly then this is your place. This hotel is at least 19 years old and looks like it. I reserved three non smoking rooms and was placed in smoking rooms and was advised all non smoking rooms were sold out.

The lady at the check n desk was the absolute best. The room was fair. The TV was out of date and small and the remote did not work. But the AC worked very well.

My Boyfriend is doing a job down here in Greensboro, NC. He and his co-workers have been staying here for over 2wks now. I personally have had the experience to witness — sloppiness in cleaning. You constantly have to call down and get them to bring towels up-wash cloths. WHY? It is 6pm and they have not finished cleaning the room, or replenished. Unexceptable. There "free" continental breakfast through the week is a joke. These men do not have time at 6am to go get breakfast and should be able to enjoy something here at the hotel before heading off to work. If you look at other hotels in this area the breakfasts are much different! The staff is friendly, but it lacks attention to rooms and guests needs! They will be back down here to finish the job up in 2 wks and will be staying in a different hotel.

Booked my room, then read these reviews, so I was expecting the worst. Even thought about buying Lysol before checking in. HOWEVER, my room was not dirty at all, dated yes, but not dirty. No bed bugs, no mold, and the towels did not smell funny (as quoted by other reviews). And no, the TV is not a 60inch LED. Its an old fashioned square box, color and has a remote. Im here to sleep, not watch movies. The staff has been very hospitable. I have stayed in many hotels in my life, this is my first budget hotel, and for $80 a night, its not that bad. Microtel. Should give you a hint its going to have small rooms.
