We love coming up to bryson city and this is where we stay. AP is the greatest. His mom and dad are to. We will continue to stay here as long as they own it.

An old time home town feeling. Quaint rooms still in the original style of when it was built. Private deck with a river view. Just a minute walk from downtown and only 10 miles from Cherokee. Owner is super friendly and treats you like family!

Great place alil pricey but comfortable room bed was nice floor a bit smelly and dirty overall great customer service.

The hotel itself is old and rooms are dated. The service was exceptional and friendly. The pool is nice not too big. It is good for a night or two but for those that like the nicer hotels this is not for you.

Great, friendly owners. Very accommodating. Room was clean and nice. Tv didn't work well. Other then that great experience with a great walking distance to downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is very convenient and although it isn't a luxury resort or anything it was a comfortable place to rest at the end of the day.

This place is disgusting. If I could have giving less than 1 Star, I would have but I can’t. People are chill, but it’s nasty. Shower head is chest night, bathroom door does not close, all around sketchy. I feard for my life the whole time. It was an adventure to say the least, why pay for a haunted house when you can have terrors for a whole night, can’t wait to come back.

This is your classic mom and pop place that is very clean, on the river and only a block from the downtown area, justwhere you want to be when visiting this quant little town. The pool is clean and good size. You can also get a room right on the river with a balcony. The owner lives on premises and is involved in his business. Felt very welcome.

Very hospitable environment. Friendliest customer service ever. Clean rooms and beautiful veiw, sitting right on the river. Balcony rooms overlooking the river available. Definitely a place to come get away and relax.

Absolutely loved our stay. The staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are very clean, they have an option to overlook the river and have screened doors on the porches. Great little spot, will stay there again.

Affordable rates. Rooms are clean but rooms need to be updated or restored to look like new. Appearance of rooms are rundown.

Pro: close to downtown, cheap, good Wi-Fi. Con: no hot water in shower, rundown peeling paint, very small bathroom.

Great service and friendly staff to serve you, as family friendly as they come, renovations are underway but should be done by spring. Great overall experience.

For starters, I was charged before my check-in time. So I couldn't get a refund. This place was very run down. The doors were barely hanging on the hinges. There was only one portable oil heater which is not good to have around toddlers. But the worse thing, is that I parked in the wrong spot and the worker called me a very bad name. That was uncalled for. My family and I came from out of state and were very disappointed and will never stay there again. We didn't even stay the night we were supposed to. We left and found a much better motel a couple blocks away.

My husband and I will NEVER stay here again! We were told we could have our cat in the room by the middle eastern man. Then two days later his wife flipped out on us and started yelling about our cat. Our cat is an indoor cat and very clean, has all her updated shots and is friendly. Then we were told only dogs could be there. We got some of our money refunded and now are staying at a much cheaper and friendlier place. The rosewood inn has terribly small bathrooms and if you have a cat that travels with you beware of the manager's rude obnoxious wife. When we told her that her husband said our cat was ok to be there, she started yelling and denying that we were told this. When we were gathering our belongings to leave, she flung the door open and started yelling that we were taking too long to get our stuff in the car. By the way, this took place after we got some of our money refunded. As I stated before, we don't recommend this place if you have a cat!

Staff was great and the view of the river in the back from the patio and the mountains on the front was amazing. They have rockers out front too. (And a pool but it was too cold for that) I wont stay anywhere else when I go to Bryson City!

Loved staying here! Vintage wallpaper, vintage feel! There was a family atmosphere and it was convenient to downtown. It could use some minor repair, hence the 4 stars, but it was clean, which is better than shiny, in my opinion. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, 1960s era drive-in motel. Room had essentials. Wifi good. Convenient to downtown. Walls do not stop TV sound from adjacent rooms. Bedding comfortable. AC/Heat is window unit on back wall. Bathroom small with lavertory outside. Key for entry door. No common area access for adjacent river. What we expected and met our needs.

Nice Owner's. What a cute vintage motel. Very cozy. River room with porch. Reminds me of my youth in the 70s.

Always a pleasant place. Came many times as a kid and later with my family. Could use some new paint but love the old country feel.

The bathroom was a bit compressed, with the toilet being slightly under the sink. Aside from that, it had a homey feel to it. Room was cleaned daily and the pool was very nice. Located just a short walk from the heart of downtown.

Very friendly staff (management) in very bad need of remodeling. Shower is not for anyone with height, flat screen TV nice but not good reception with very few channels. Beds clean and comfortable, pool nice. Outside light shines in all rooms with only thin blinds and curtains. We had very little sleep due to the light.

Awesome location, friendly staff and cool retro decor. Wi-Fi could be a little better, but otherwise no complaints!

Rosewood Inn as a wonderful little quaint Motel in Bryson City North Carolina. That we have truly truly enjoyed staying here I love the atmosphere I love the old timing look that reminds me of when I was growing up with screen doors just very peaceful the river flowing right off of our balcony it's a beautiful scene and I just truly have fell in love with this place and when I can come back this is where I will come to to the Rosewood Inn!

Nice clean place, river front rooms very cool. Country living oriented. Beds amazingly comfortable. Deck where geese visit daily on the Tuckasegee River. Walking distance to everything. Good management, very attentive and caring. Thank you for the experience.

Usually enjoy staying here but this time the freaking stink bugs were a huge problem… especially when my little girl is scared to death of them… serious stink bug problem.

A lot of work to be done here… Looks like something out of a horror movie… All my kids spoke of on the ride was the pool… When can we get in the pool? Are we at the pool yet.?. Only to get here a find pool. NO Water : (smh the sadness in my kids eyes made me want to cancel… So I did stayed one of the two night and booked @ Sleep Inn Should have canceled for both nights…

Quaint vintage motel. Stayed 3 times but on our 4 trip, our reservation was bumped or forgotten about. After showing confirmation, we still were not accommodated because they were fully booked. After driving 6 hours and found no other accommodations, we slept in our car at a campground with 2 kids! Had to cancel credit card payment immediately on payment made for reservations, in case we got shafted again. First 3 visits were good but won't go back.

Lovely 1940's motel. The new owners take great pride in bringing the Inn back to it's glory. Now the Inn is open all year long! The beds were wonderful. Our room overlooked the river. This is the only motel in Bryson City that is located on the river. Downtown is an easy walk with grocery stores, outdoor stores and many fine restaurants. The charm of the bathroom layout is totally 1940's. So enjoy a piece of history and stay at the Rosewood Inn! Great location for hiking into the Great Smoky National Park Deep Creek area.

It's a little old hotel in a little old town, the beds are fabulous, the rooms are old fashioned and clean! And the owners are as sweet as Georgia peaches! They show you the room before you commit! Some of the nicest hotel owners I've ever met! I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm here! ❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️

The room was very out dated and the dead bolt was broken. A note written in ink on the door said dead bolt broken. The room also had out dated sheets. The parking lot was dirty and landscape was not kept up. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable in the room. TV cable was ran down the wall to the TV unit. The best part of the room was the flat screen tv. I complain to management about our complaint. Manager offered another room. That room was worse than our current room. The second room smelled like a nursing home. The images of the rooms on the web of this motel does not reflect the true condition of the rooms/site. I felt like I needed to take a bath after leaving. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Great room with a porch overlooking the river. Only concern was a very small bathroom.

Charming little family style motel. The room feels like you're staying at a family member's guest room.

Clean, a very good place to sleep, just keep in mind it is an older place.

Love this place! Have stayed here the past 3 years. Miss Patricia but the new owners are friendly also. Can't wait till next year's anniversary.

Will stay here again very quiet nice room older place but clean. When we got here Thay up graded our room staff very nice to us older guests lol Thay went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you staff.

Very quiet place to stay with private balcony on the river. Old buildings but well kept.

We stumbled onto this place accidentally and can't wait to come back! The views from the King Rooms on the river are amazing. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. Walking distance to everything.

A group of riding buddies and me travel up from Florida every spring to ride the wonderful road in the Smokey Mountains. Bryson City and the Rosewood Inn is always our base of operation. Patricia is a great hostess and is very motorcycle friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The inns horseshoe configuration keeps your bike close and safe.

We all ways stay at the Rosewood. Price is very reasonable, it is quiet, we try to get a room by the river and it is clean. Bob and Karen Carroll Knoxville TN.

If I thought enough to write this review 3 years after our visit, I think that says quite a bit anyway. Patricia was a wonderful host and she offered a very personal touch to her old "motor lodge" type of hotel/motel in the Smokies. She was able to offer great advice at our request for food and attractions. The place was very clean and as a guest, we were made to feel very special during our stay. This place is not for someone looking for a new hotel, but if you like the quaint older style motels with owners that truly love making people feel welcome, then this is the place for you. Paticia truly made our stay in Bryson City a truly memorable experience. I will add more later if I remember more. Joe.
