Nice bed, breakfast, and staff. However reservation was made through Expedia and all amenities were not as promised or as sold when paying for reservation. We were sold a non handicapped room and my husband is in a wheelchair, and when asked if they had an accommodating room, clerk said all bathrooms were same size. Yet they have handicap signs on two rooms on backside of third building of the property.

This hotel definitely needs to be torn down and newly rebuilt, but for the money, not a bad 1 night stay. Our first room's a/c was broken, but once we told them they immediately moved us to the room next door with an AMAZING a/c unit! The breakfast was a nice layout with cereal, yogurt, waffles, juice, toast, and frozen sausage patty sandwiches. The room was pretty clean, considering all the previous damage the hotel has taken. The sheets were clean and the staff was super friendly. We only needed somewhere to stay for 1 night and refused to pay $100 plus a pet fee. The parking lots are pretty dirty with lota of stray cats, but those are a huge problem all over Goldsboro. All in all, I wouldn't mind staying there again for a night if needed in the future.

Our room was clean but for bathroom door. Outdated and yes carpets need cleaned or better yet replaced. Was surprised and happy to see the fridge was clean with no ice built up in the little freezer compartment. Microwave looked new and Clean. Lousy pillows. Under new ownership from what I was told and will be renovating. I have stayed in far worse hotels at higher priced when traveling. Forgot to add if you want face) hand towels bring your own. They didn't run the vacuum the entire week. Also only two bath think towels do bring extra if you want or need more.

Horrible. Worst experience at a days inn or hotel period. The pictures online look nothing like the real place, booked a king room, we walk in to a room that smelled like pee, there was someone else's trash still in the room, there was dead bugs everywhere and hair and dirt and bug wings all over the sheets, the air conditioning didn't work. I took pictures of it all. People hanging out by our room all hours of the night. We booked for two nights, only could stand to stay one and they wouldn't charge us for just one night they said we booked for two so we got stuck paying it. Our daughter got sick from the smell. I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone.

They cancelled my reservation as I was actually travelling there. Got an email to inform me of the fact. (Was driving so not like I could read it running down the road at highway speeds…) Got there and they didn't even have a room to match the reservations.

Dirty. Drug needles on tables. And blunts on the table. Other than that not bad.

The worse motel ever Staff was great. Manager is rude. Befbigs and roaches. Dope everywhere. Stay away.

I stayed at the Goldsboro Days Inn and would not recommend this to anyone. My first experience was be be given a room that was currently occupied, not funny! According to the front desk the room was suppose to be empty. Makes one wonder if they know who's staying there. When I did finally get a room it was smelly and had water leak marks on the ceiling. The carpet was dirty and a previous occupant had dropped a hot iron on it leaving a divot the size of the iron in the filthy carpet. Stay at your own risk.

$hit hole! Roaches! Bed bugs! Furniture falling apart. Had to threaten to call the cops for my refund. 79 dollars for a crack den? Go up the road a bit farther and get a better cleaner hotel. Do NOT stay here! Disgusting!

This was a dump! Half TV channels didn’t come in what did where snowy pics, when we complained all we where told was we know! Carpet was stained and musty, holes in walls and furniture busted up and beat down! Tub was flaking where they just painted over old surface, was glass where someone broke a window from inside a room no one cleaned it up, worse days inn we have ever seen in 45 years traveling! AVOID this place even the prostitution girls looked nasty that beat on our door all night!

They accommodated me and my kids when our house caught fire. Very nice staff.

Receptionist was very pleasant the night I got there. However, the room she gave us was not — the toilet was broken and I found a cockroach so she moved us out to another room and overall the carpet was very dirty in both rooms and very worn, more so in the second room and I found a dead cockroach so I think Wyndham needs to put some money into these rooms and make them more hospitable. Also the phone was not connected in the second room to even dial the operator or the desk. The lobby was very pleasant and a fairly decent breakfast. Coffee was good actually most places coffee is not, and grateful Hotel provided real cream — half and half. The waffle was excellent. And The breakfast Hostess was very friendly at first but as soon as the time to close came and I had had to ask her for a couple extra things I could tell she felt annoyed and wished I hadn't asked her for anything beyond the time the doors were supposed to be open. I did my utmost to be as gracious and pleasant and friendly because I know staff in those positions are not paid very well. And convenient location. After I was moved to the second room I did have to call the front desk to alert her to call security because someone was banging on a door just a few doors down from me, trying to kick it in and cursing to beat the band at somebody inside the room and I was concerned there could could have been a gun because the word was mentioned.

Love their breakfast in the morning rooms ive stayed in are clean and nice.

Rooms were out dated. Kind of dingy. Not the best place I have stayed. Rates were okay.

These people should be drug out into the street and shot for knowingly renting rooms that they are blatantly aware of the infestation of not only roaches but the BEDBUGS! IM STILL ITCHING 2 WEEKS LATER… I stayed 2 nights against my will because there was literally no where else to go at the time. The first room was filthy and all fixtures we're stopped up. The second was about the same with the addition of bed bugs. This place should be condemned or burnt down. I'm calling the health department and the local news.

Management is nice, room was in good shape and freshly painted but be prepared to get 1st degree burns in the shower lol the water temperature is highly inconsistent and it was a pain in the ass to shower every single time. I was scalded a couple times.

This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. The first room was old dusty and not to mention filty from top to bottom. The second room was a lil better until we saw roaches crawling on the walls in the tub and in and out of the iron (I have pictures). So we checked out and went to another hotel. When we were ready to check in my card declined. I know it would be a few days to get my money back but I had enough to keep traveling with my husband for his birthday. I knew it was this hotel so I check my bank and low and behold the desk clerk (Sarah I believe) had actually debited my card for 4 different transactions even the $20 she was doing as a discount was debited. We had to get my son to send money so we could return back to Va. Birthday celebration was a bust thanks to this awful place!

Worst experience ever. Dirty room, dirty bathroom, broken appliances, no breakfast other than old light bread and some stale corn flakes. No ash trays in smoking room, Limited TV, internet very choppy although Wi-Fi is free, one pillow per bed. Filthy Bathtub and bathroom fan has dirt literally falling out of it onto my head. Clerk wont answer any complaints just kinda stares off into space like its not their problem. Really ruined me for staying at any Days Inn in the future, I'd rather pay double than ever stay at such a dump again.

We saw a few roaches, it looks as though they are trying to renovate. My microwave was broken, they came immediately with a new one. The bed was comfy. Toilet seat was off centered. Liked the hard wood floors. I won't return. There was a slight musty smell. Of course I brought my own cleaner, went over the floor a bit. It was for a weekend wedding (sis in law). Grin n beared.

With my Man. Nice people. Clean large room. Bed, so comfy didnt want to get out of it.

The room smelled like mildew. You can tell there was water damage at some point. The mirrors were all dirty. I do not recommend this place.

The best thing I can say is Pets Welcome. And CHEAP! But old and dirty room. But it looks like they are trying to do some painting and clean up… I guess some may say remodeling. Bottom line… traveling with pets and need a cheap place for a night or two… then you'll be ok. But it's not much more then that.

This is a dirty, ill maintained Days Inn. While certain rooms are undergoing renovation, the room given to me had shotty maintenance work done. And while there was evidence that a number of mattresses have recently been replaced, the carpet in my room was absolutely filthy and sticky. I was given hand towels out of a pillow case, which also contained unfolded towels (used towels? ). The bathroom was mediocre at best (stains in the tub, ceiling light/exhaust fan hanging down and covered with build up, mold on the caulking, etc. ). The website claims there are kitchens in all rooms. To me a microwave and fridge do not add up to a kitchen. Lastly there were flees in my room! At $87 a night, expectations were just not met. In hindsight, I would insist on previewing a room before paying. Staff is extremely friendly, though!

I would give this place no stars if I could. We stayed here once before and it wasn't this bad! This time there's roaches and ants in the bathroom. I have been in a car all day so I have to go and I am seriously refusing to shower or anything in this bathroom. To make it better the room reaks of weed. I have a two year old and I would NOT recommend this place for your kids. Sadly this is one of the few places that allow pets. But if you have the choice and the money avoid this place!

The only good thing I can say is the front desk attendant was very nice, we arrived early and she got us into rooms as soon as they were available. The hotel is old the rooms are old and dinghy, bathtub and sink had rust spots, I wouldn't even sit on the chairs without sitting on a towel, I didn't even want to get in the bed. Nothing here has been updated. I came for a wedding and only stayed for the night but I wished I hadn't. There are nice new hotels less than a mile down the road. I would never stay here again.

With events in the area, room rate was $97.75 per night + taxes which totaled $110.22. Expected much better from a Wyndham group. Beds were hard and you are only given 2 small pillows per bed. Carpet was very dirty. No lock on bathroom door. Drainage issues with toilet and bathtub. No water pressure in shower. We checked in Friday and out Monday. Sunday, after returning to the room after a long day at the AFB, room service didn't pick up dirty towels, replace coffee, cups, or condiments, and the beds were poorly made. Was told it was a smoking room, but no ashtrays were available. So I stepped out on the balcony to smoke. Air conditioner filter had not been cleaned in quite some time and it struggled to work. Dresser drawers no longer fit the dresser. TV channel selection was poor at best. Continental breakfast was very basic. Staff wasn't very friendly. 10 ft swimming pool that was closed for repairs. On the plus: quite even though located on a busy highway. Saw several pets, possibly service animals, so I would assume they are pet friendly. Some rooms were closed hopefully due to renovations.

It's old, out dated and over priced. The rooms are not very clean, but the staff seems nice. You should feel safe here because every time I look out the window I see the police here. Breakfast is served every morning but based on my surroundings I don't trust it.

Employee stayed there and said was disgusting. Carpet was soaked from bathroom to bed (half of the room). Hotel/Maids would had to have known room condition, as rooms are to be cleaned daily. On that note, room was not cleaned. Maids had made bed and stocked with clean towels. That was all that was done. Guest told front desk clerk about room condition and was told "we will look at". The side tables had sticky residue circles, as if someone had spilled soda and was not wiped up by house keeping. Very disappointing, will not have anyone stay here again.

It was awkward because the cleaning lady's opened my room door while I was undressing. So I probably won't go back.

Said room was non smoking, smelled like an ashtray. Door handle literally fell off. If I were a homeless man I would have stepped inside and thought: "Nah, I'll take my chances"

Rooms were perfect and clean. Only issue that I had was the water pressure for shower was very low so it was hard to rinse off and all the hot water went to the shower head while the cold rush out the tub faucet.

Very nice hotel at an affordable rate. Free breakfast amazing services at the recession with sarahi … very friendly. Not all hotels have personally like this… I won't think 2 to stay again here … I really enjoyed it.

Very nice hotel at an affordable rate. Free breakfast and a pool with palmettos. A minute away from Harris Teeter and several food options, 5 minutes to Walmart. The room was nice and had a fridge and microwave. I was in town for 3 months and Days Inn charged $1700+ per month. I ended up going to Irish Inns (750/mo with pet) but that place is a dump compared to Days Inn. If you have the extra money, or you're in town for a short time I would recommend Days Inn.

Met friends there for a stay. Hung around pool.

First room we were put in smelled like pot so the front desk lady was very friendly about moving us. Second room the water in the bathroom was constantly dripping. It is very loud here and the staff does nothing to attempt to control this. I booked through a 3rd party so got a discounted rate but was not very impressed with the overall experience.

The first time I stayed here last year in March there was a small roach issue but staff and housekeeping were great and the room didn't smell bad at all. I stayed again last night in a different room and before I even walked in the room the smell of Marijuana was strong and it was coming from the room next door. I walked in my room and it REAKED of cat urine! The room was clean though which was nice but when you go into the bathroom and turn the light/fan on you could smell marijuana again. Staff and housekeeping were great as always but I really wish the room didn't smell so bad…

Rooms really need upgrades. They have pest. Will definitely not recommend or book ever again.

They didnt have Wi-Fi at the time I was there but I like the rooms are nice.

The hotel has all the basics of a hotel yet the lobby bathroom doesn't have a baby changing station in either of the male or female bathrooms which I found very unprofessional.

Stayed here a week ago and it was terrible. No fridge in the room, TV and shower did not work, plus the rooms are outdated and not taken care of. Staff is also unfriendly and very unhelpful.

The maid were very polite but on other note the lobby looks beautiful but you get in your room the are very out dated along with the TV being old and might as well be garbage because they only worked when they wanted to. I got a conjoint suit my kids room didn't have any lighting except the bathroom all the light bulbs were blown out. I also asked for one to be a smokers room and it was but no ash trays and it took them a whole day to locate me another. I went to use the bathroom and got locked in it til my husband returned from the store to take the door off to get me out and to top it off my cold water doesn't work in one of my showers. Also they are can't make a key to get me into my room. I've been here 3 days and every time I leave I might as well get a new key because my previous one will no longer work. Nothing but a hassle.

Nothing worked was change to 3 different rooms in one night and the last room had no inter net and woke up to no hot water would never stay at this place ever again and one of the non smoking rooms smelled like pot and smoke.

The worst place I have been in driver's beware staff sucks don't stay here room really bad they could care less.

Cockroaches crawling on the walls and floor. Very rude staff.

Wen we checked in we had no pillows in our and the 1 that was in here was folded like someone propped up to watch TV in bed. I don't think I'm come here no more first and last time here. Wen turned the lites off roaches were everywhere.

Stayed here 2 weeks. Had a door that would not lock, a bathtub that leaked badly, and three instances where females banged on my door at odd hours of the night. One night at 2:00am because the door lock was faulty one of the females actually opened my door and tried to come in. They were offering sexual favors for money and as far as I could tell were using illegal substances. Other than that the hotel service was great, the exercise room had working equipment and the overall room was not too bad.

It's very dirty and expensive.
