So, my flight gets cancelled and I have to wait until tomorrow to get on the next plane. Usually I'd be able to book a room over the phone for ANY hotel… except this one. They wanted to scrutinize me and put me through trial and tribulation to simply book a room, stating that "PER HOTEL POLICY" they have to have you fill out a form that is faxed or emailed to me to have my card on file, as they cannot take credit card numbers over the phone. I then find our my friend has been talking with this same hotel, was able to book a room, AND was able to give credit card information over the phone, so he got a room and I didn't not. Whether it be company policy or not, somebody is in the wrong, and this hotel has gone down the drain from what it used to be. I will never be gracing this establishment with my presence again, and I will be sure to share my ATROCIOUS experience with everyone I meet. This staff is extremely unprofessional, and I will never be doing business with them again.

Our company just had our 2nd Annual Manager's Meeting yesterday and I wanted to take a minute to recognize and thank Ashley Stout for all of her help throughout the process. She is so responsive, helpful, and made the process so easy! Everything was just as we hoped it would be. And the meeting, the conference room, the breakfast, lunch, and all the rooms were great! I would highly recommend the hotel and conference rooms to everyone in need of either (or both). Thank you, Ashley and Holiday Inn! See you next year, if not sooner.

Very disappointed. Called from the airport and was told the shuttle arrived every hour on the half hour. Made it to the pickup area by 5:28 p. M. And waited until 5:40 to call the hotel again. Was told at point that "he was almost there. " Called again at 5:50. Got the same story, but again he wasn't there. Late for my meeting now, left pickup area and got an Uber. Completed my meeting and return to hotel and explained what happened, was told that there's no schedule for pickups at the airport only for drop offs and that when I called they should have asked me what time I wanted to be picked up. Front desk clerk said the best she could do is give me breakfast and points, couldn't explain why I got misinformation period seemed stressed out even though there was no one else at the front desk. Arrived in room which has the same musty smell as the hallways. Gets worse, almost rotten egg like when air conditioning unit kicks on. Also, room is adjacent to a runway which one would think would be disclosed when you check in or at least when choosing your room. Planes landing right outside my window every three to five minutes even at 10 p. M.

It's a great location. You might miss it if you're coming from one of the small roads but it's nice. The day I went they were having a convention that blocked a bit of the hallway. The concierge and everyone else was really nice though :)

Hotel was nice. The first day was good the second the cleaning people left no towels so at 2am I had to go to the front desk. On the 3rd day the cleaning people NEVER touched our room had. To go to the front desk AGAIN and they were out of towels. Said they would have some at 7am wife called front desk at 7am to get towels after 30 mins no towels so she went down to the front desk. She asked a woman who was nice and helped but another lady was EXTREMELY rude and told her she didnt want her waiting here. I PERSONALLY WILL NOT COME BACK especially if the staff is gonna be rude and house keeping cant even refill towels.

Good size rooms. Comfy beds. Food average. Staff helpful. Specializes in conferences. Good for stopovers.

Staff was very helpful and friendly during our overnight stay. Hotel accommodations were as expected and good for the price. I would stay here again in the future.

Trent Jackson Jr, United Airlines counter was the best support I've had in my 15 years of flying! His time to help my family with our missed flight, dedicated to keeping call and getting us out in a timely manner was astounding! Thank you for all the help!

Customer service representative was really helpful and friendly. Were also about to leave or car there while we flew out on vacation. Room was nice and the airport shuttle was super convenient. There is a business center where you can do any last min work and a place to buy and toiletries that you may have forgotten. They also weren't out of their way to help us scan and fax some paperwork that came up last minute that had to be done before we left the country. All that to say, it was a really good experience, mainly because of the kindness of staff.

I was here for continuing education for nail art. On the 2nd day in the middle of the class, we were told by the general manager that we needed to stop what we were doing because of the smell of the products. Before booking the room, the educators had already made sure that it was fine with the hotel for them to host the class. The educators had told them ahead of time of what was going to be used and they were told it was going to be fine. There are a lot of us from out of town who paid and came here to learn and to enjoy Charlotte. But needless, that put a hold on our classes and a damper on our feeling to the hotel. I won't be staying here the next time that I am coming thru.

Great place to stay when your flight is late and you need to sleep for a few hours. Clean room and cheap price. Free coffee in the lobby and free shuttle to and from the airport. Runs every 30 min and is reliable and on time.

Hotel is clean, rooms are nice. Short ride to and from the airport. Shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Breakfast is nice, nothing crazy but nice for the price point. The bar is nice as well and the drinks are cheap by hotel standards. Perfect if your stuck in Charlotte for a night.

Don't know where any of you stayed but this one on little rock road, I will never stay here again. The Most unfriendly, poor service holiday inn I've ever stayed at, and we've stayed at a lot across the country. Restaurant took forever to get waited on and the staff very very unfriendly. The cost was extremely high for a simple breakfast. And when I say forever I mean like 45mins to order and another 45 before we got our food. The room was not to bad except the bathroom, it had something on wall spilled that hadn't been cleaned (No idea what it was). But on a good note the bed was comfortable. Never ever again.

Probably more of a HOLIDAYINN express! 2018_Jan_27 lady at the reception was not in her work. Reception true very cool and I felt "annoying". The room is very dark. There are only a few desk lamps. The room was very clean. Not the standard of Holiday Inn. The restaurant is open until 11pm. But from 9:30pm I was not allowed to sit at a table for dinner, but should eat at the bar. After I waited 10 minutes, I went out to eat without having to drink and eat away.
2018_JAN_28 Breakfast staff was immediately annoyed when I asked about breakfast buffet.
Breakfast is only ' A-la-card. No buffet. Only during the week. But not on Saturday, Sunday and Monday conclusion: Never again!

Clean and trendy! The only set back is getting to it if you're not familiar with it's location. Great customer service.

I didn't get to explore much around the hotel however the staff was quite accommodating and the rooms were very large. The bathroom had multiple entrances which I loved. The rooms have an extra room between the main room with a couch and chairs. Really great room actually! Enjoy your stay.

Very close to the airport, it includes a shuttle service from the hotel to the airport and vice versa, it also has a swimming pool, bar and restaurant, very clean rooms and the atmosphere very pleasant, would definitely be a place that would return for convenience and Low price per accommodation.

The hotel is as close as can be to the airport, without already being in the airport. The layout of the hotel is odd. Each floor is one giant, dimly-lit, low ceiling hallway. I meant to ask if they had a small runway on the roof. It is quicker to drive to your room and use a different entrance if your number is higher than 25 or so. This might be how all Holiday Inns are, but I didn't care for having to pay extra for breakfast, or even a coffee. Even the vending machines were priced high. $1.50 for a Butterfinger? No thanks. I'll be happier at the Holiday Inn Express, where they are much more welcoming, and the breakfast is complimentary.

Clean room, clean bathroom. Rooms where not to expensive. Over all nice location and has a shuttle to and from the airport every 30 min. Just have to reserve your seats. We had a emergency overnight, there were plenty of rooms and they staff was very friendly. Food was a little expensive but that's expected. Over all a nice place to stay.

Hotel Amenities are very good. They even have a rapid check out system where they slip the invoice in your room in the morning so that you don't have to go to Front Desk. The only reason I am not giving them a 5star is because they don't have have Microwave inside the rooms. However they do allow to use one near the Front Desk.

The restaurant serves food until 10PM. It's very convenient to get to even if you're not staying in this particular hotel. Service was prompt and the food was pretty good.

The location is close to the airport but the aircraft landing didn't wake me. Rooms were very comfortable and secluded. The restaurant was not bad either, a decent selection of food. Breakfast was great with the fresh fruit.

Nothing like pulling back the sheets to get into bed in what you hope are clean sheets to fine so many hairs all over the sheet and pillow case. Absolutely disgusted right now. Tried to upload the pictures but conveniently that feature isn't working on here.

We Stayed at the Hotel for one Night. The Service was great! The Young Girl at the Front Desk was very Helpful in every way! My luggage did Not arrive and she gave me all amentities. The Girls at the restaurant were very Friendly top. The Hotel was very comfy and clean. Highly recommended!

Hotel itself was great. Good location, rooms are new and spacious, everything was very clean Had issues with check in as I was visiting on buisness. Front desk couldn't locate our third party credit card authorization. Had to use personal credit card to check in.

Nice hotel. All of the basic amenities you're looking for with great customer service! Fridges in room made me very Happy!

I come from a small City. So when I went to a big city and they didn't offer a complimentary breakfast like the hotel in the small City, I'm talking 26k in population, I was a little upset. They do have a restaurant. But the prices are a little high. I guess the Holiday inn has that right but the Hampton was there only other hotel off the airport. There are restaurants and stores nearby but you have to walk across a very busy highway ramp. A cheaper hotel closer to stores would have been a better option.

Paid almost $ 13.00 for lunch buffet featuring chicken, no white meat, salad past it's prime, rice with no flavor, veggies which were cold and rolls with no butter. Then an 18 percent gratuity was automatically added to the bill. Wouldn't have minded the price if the meal had been good!

This is a great hotel if youre planning any trip via Charlotte airport. My wife and I were staying the night and flying out to our honeymoon the next day. We ate at the restaurant on the hotel grounds. One major perk was the resturant manager found out we were on our honeymoon and provided us free drinks on the house. They front desk was very help with moving us room when our AC did not work. Its much cheaper to keep your vehicle here too.

I have been staying here for 7 years. You can not beat the price/value. The proximity to the airport is great. There is a hotel bar with good food and phenomenal service. Tom is an exceptional bartender who makes you feel comfortable and tends to all of your needs. As a woman traveling alone it is my first choice in the area as I feel comfortable here. Vik, the manager, looks after the restaurant/bar and does a fantastic job.

This hotel is quite comfy. The gym was setup nicely with dumbbells, a bench and cardio equipment. The rooms were very nice and clean and a nice size. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall this was a nice hotel and I enjoyed my visit.

The location of the hotel isn't horrible, but it is closely located to two other hotels. There is a restaurant and bar, but no complimentary continental breakfast. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The whole experience was pretty good, but not necessarily for the over $200 I was charged.

Wonderful. Needed a place to stay after missing connection to my flight. Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Room was clean and very comfortable.

Have read many of the reviews, good and bad. I landed at 12:45a. M. Called hotel, 5 minutes later shuttle was there. Most places shuttle stops at 10p. M. Great room, good breakfast, friendly staff. If anything, a bit pricey, but it is right next to the airport. I didn't see any of "negative" things others were complaining about.

Great new and clean hotel. Left my laptop in the room and realized it at the airport. A quick call to them and they retrieved it and sent it out on the next shuttle.

Last night I stayed at the Holiday Inn Charlotte Airport, and I absolutely loved my experience! The front desk rep. Cammie, was the best! Upon seeing me, as I walked through the door, she greeted me with a smile, and as she checked me in, she told me everything that I needed to know about the hotel. She knows a lot about the establishment! She even recommended the shrimp scampi pasta, in their restaurant. Even after I got to my room, she called me back, just to make sure that everything was O. K. I tried the shrimp scampi pasta, and it was the best. The restaurant was packed, but the waitresses were on top of it all. I only waited 15 minutes for my food and wine, even though the place was running over with guests! I highly recommend this hotel! I'll certainly be returning if I need a room, near the airport!

The hotel itself is very nice, the restaurant in the lobby is ok, kind of over priced. There isn't a lot in the area around the hotel to do, but the shuttle will take you around the area.

Since renovating, this property has moved way up the ladder in my list of places around Charlotte. The rooms are as good as an HI property can get, and the restaurant/bar is really good as well. Location is key for early departures from CLT. I'll be back for sure.

Clean, attractive hotel with very friendly staff. Room was beautiful and quiet.

This hotel was great! They do offer a military discount. The staff was super friendly at arrival. Upon walking in the design was very modern and welcoming. The king sized room was large and came with a love seat, desk, and in room coffee brewer. The restaurant felt very large and open. We paid 18.99 for and 18" pizza which I would highly recommended. Then for breakfast they gave us free meal vouchers with our stay which worked for anything on their menu. Who really made the stay for us was Cindy in the restaurant. She very was friendly and warm, a very nice addition to the staff. Definitely worth coming back!

When I checked into this hotel I had a convoluted and complicated reservation. Matt C. At the front desk made it as pleasant as possible and took care of me like I was royalty. If you are ever a weary traveler on the road looking for a wonderful place to lay your head for the night, please pick this hotel.

I will never stay at this place again. Just because I left a lighter in the room they said I was smoking and charged me 250 dollars. I guess they are trying to pay for the work going on there. Everything is double from what it was before. From the food to the drinks. These people are crooks.

I recommend avoiding the martini at their restaurant. $20 for a sapphire martini. That's a record for me, and I've been all over the states on business. Granted I haven't been to LasVegas or New York where one might expect that price. I actually thought they charged me for two. There's no excuse for this in my opinion, especially at a Holiday Inn of all places. As for the hotel, I was happy with it. Just be warned about the bar / restaurant. It soured my experience for sure.

Dismal place. Drive a little and get twice the room for a lot less.

This hotel is in the middle of being renovated. We were given a nice newly renovated room. We were given cookies upon arrival. The room was very clean and good sized. Everyone was very friendly, even opening doors for us when we were bringing in the luggage. Great night sleep and would definitely stay here again.

One of the worst holiday inn I have ever stayed. Was not told about ongoing construction that starts at 8am. Just when you think holiday inn can't possibly disappoint you anymore, just book a room here. Holiday Inn has absolutely gotten my last dime.

I was traveling to Memphis from Fort Lauderdale through Charlotte. After 3 delays on my connecting flight, it was finally cancelled. I was flying US Air. They airlines book me in a hotel which I couldn't check in upon arrival at the hotel as there was no room. One kind hotel drive took me to the Holiday Inn nearby. I had no wallet, debit, credit cards, even ID as I had mistakenly checked them in on curbside forcefully by the airlines for lack of space in the overhead. All attempts at trying to get the lady at the front desk to help me were cold and not too welcoming. I had not eaten all day, I was hungry, miserable, couldn't get my phone charged as I had no charger handy. Luckily made it to bed and work up the next day contemplating my faith at airport with TSA. I explained what had happened to another lady at the hotel front desk. He name was loushanta washington. She apologized for her staff the previous night and immediately offered me a free breakfast voucher. (It was golden to me). Another lady (MARLENE HOSTON) also helped me with a tooth brush, deodorant, tooth paste and shaving accessories. I am very grateful to these two ladies and appreciate heartily what they did for me. Great service.

I originally had a reservation for another motel but was told my reservation was not in the system and was told my confirmation paper didn't mean anything and was turned away. I then proceeded to the Holiday Inn where they graciously helped me and my son. The gentlemen at the front desk were very apologetic about the situation that happened at a different motel and got me a room right away. They said if I needed anything else to call them at the front desk. They were very helpful and nice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend this location to others. Thank you again for your help, it was appreciated.

I will not stay at this Hotel again! Check-in was ok, the staff was pleasant. Upon entering my room, I found a dirty washcloth on one of the beds. I didn’t get too upset at first because my family and I were only staying one night and just wanted to get some rest before we continued of travel the next day. The next morning, while I was getting dressed a guy comes into our room. That was scary, here I am half-dressed and someone had been given a key to check into our room. How is this possible! My husband complained to the front staff during check-out and they said that the manager was not in and to call back. OK! We have been calling the manager and leaving messages since we checked out on Oct. 25th and today is Nov. 1st we still haven’t heard anything. I would not recommend this place to anyone and they will never get any more of my money! — — Disgruntled Customer.
