Beautiful rooms, spectacular Hosts.

Had awesome stay at the Inn if we had to name one thing it would be the great hospitality. Ms. Carolyn and Ms. Dina are like long lost friends.

First, the inviting setting is both comforting and enchanting, with beautiful landscaping around this ranch style home, situated with a view of the Balsam mountains. Yet, it’s just a mile or so from town. My friend and I wanted a get away from husbands so we ended up here and it was great fun, wonderful hosts who made awesome breakfasts for us. We will be going back!

We have stayed at the Inn about 20 times. We love the warm welcoming atmosphere and very gracious Inn keepers, Dina and Carolyn! They are tops! Breakfast is always fabulous… I don’t think we have ever eaten the same thing twice. Highly recommend you book a couple nights at the Brookside Mountain Mist Inn and Cottages, you will fall in love with the Inn and mountain community.

My husband and I were gifted a stay there it was beautiful and they thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing, fun and enjoyable as possible. We can’t wait to try the cottages. ❤️

Great B&B! And the owners took such good care of us! The little touches like baked goodies and drinks, taking care of the hubby’s ankle, etc! Really great getaway!

Carolyn and Dina make you feel like you are truly welcome and they are appreciative that you decided to stay with them. Accommodations are great and they go out of their way to make your stay more than special. Breakfast are fantastic. And, Dina’s cookie treats are worth their weight in gold. The hostesses were extremely kind and friendly. The room was lovely — — spacious and comfortable — — the the breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious. Our stay was only one night but I wish it had been longer. An excellent place to stay!

A beautiful, quiet setting. Great views and landscaping. Enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the sunset. Comfortable beds in a lovely room. The in-room massage was superb! Loved the food—especially the sweet potato pancakes. I would definitely stay here again. Best B&B experience ever!

Dina and Carolyn treated us as if we were family. Room was elegant as well as comfortable. Grounds were immaculant and food was to die for. From restaurant suggestions to casual conversations we felt like old friends. Turn down service with chocolates, evening treats, coffee, all available after hours. It was like being at home only being seriously spoliled.

We are "well seasoned" citizens, with 54 years of marriage and had never stayed at a B & B. It was recommended by friends who had stayed there on 2 occasions. The Host were great! The place, room and grounds were spotless. The food and service was outstanding! The atmosphere allowed for a friendly exchange with the other guest who's ages varied from young to old. This is the best Bed and Breakfast. My husband and I were treated like family. The food was excellent and the House was elegant yet super cozy. The views were amazing. We will stay there again.

My wife and I had a long weekend and wanted to go somewhere quiet for a couple days. We found Brookside by chance and decided to stay there after reading some of the reviews. From the moment Carolyn called me to confirm our reservation, I was pretty sure I was going to like her. When Dina and Carolyn met us the day we arrived, I was positive I was going to love them. They're amazing hosts. My wife and I felt like we were talking to friends we'd known for years by the end of the weekend. Everything about Brookside is wonderful: the rooms are spacious, the house is cozy, and Dina makes an awesome breakfast while Carolyn serves up a lot of humor. We planned to get away for a weekend, but ended up making wonderful new friends. I highly recommend Brookside Mountain Mist Inn!

A+ in every way! We had a perfect stay this week in the Pine Needles Guest Suite. Carolyn and Dina went out of their way to make sure our every need was met. Breakfast was so delicious, I purchased Vol. 1 in a series of their cookbooks so I will have some of the recipes to reproduce at home. We especially enjoyed the view from the back gardens. When our travels take us back to the Waynesville area, I hope to stay here again.

Carol and Dina were very accommodating with our last minute stay, hands down the most relaxed B&B I've ever stayed at. The food was amazing, room was super clean and comfortable, on a beautiful property. Wifi worked great in our room so we streamed movies during the rain. Felt just like home with better food!

Welcoming and gracious! Breakfast is excellent. Large, well-appointed rooms. Park-like setting, close to downtown. Overall, very relaxing.

My husband and I stayed at Brookside for 5 nights and really enjoyed our first Bed & Breakfast experience. Dina and Carolyn were warm and friendly innkeepers. The 3 course breakfast was such a pleasant surprise every morning and so tasty! We plan to be repeat customers.

We just spent five glorious nights at the Brookside Mountain Mist Bed and Breakfast! It was hard to leave since we quickly felt at home. From the warm welcome of Carolyn to the culinary delights of Dina, your visit is everything you could possibly desire, each and every day. The rooms are all appointed richly and are very comfortable. The atmosphere of the entire home, no matter where you sit, is one of peace and tranquility, from the spacious living room, the patio with the lovely waterfall pond, the fire pit or the huge rockers on the front porch. Each setting is very special and affords one the opportunity to be alone and quiet or a gathering place to chat with other guests. The grounds are beautifully manicured and as welcoming as are the Inn Keepers. Fresh baked cookies every day is a special treat thanks to the talents of Dina. Dina’s gourmet breakfasts are a beautiful creation daily, with Carolyn serving each with a delightful smile and wonderful sense of humor and a gracious welcome each morning. My husband and I have visited many Bed and Breakfast establishments, and we have never had such a warm and gracious experience before. This is always going to be our special go to home away from home. Thank you, Carolyn and Dina, for making our time so wonderful! We will return.

The Brookside Mountain Mist Inn is simply a great place to stay. Carolyn and Dina are amazing hosts. They have thoughtfully and tastefully built the Inn to provide both comfort and luxury. The beautiful, extensive and well-kept grounds are a joy to behold, reflecting the care and love our hosts have lavished upon our surroundings. There are places all around the grounds to sit in comfort and enjoy the peace and serenity offered by the inn. Our room (Palms) was very clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and contained every creature comfort a traveler could wish for. The room was large, and offered comfortable chairs for relaxation should the weather not be all that it could be. The bathroom was both spacious and well fitted out. Breakfasts were tasty, healthy and delicious. Carolyn and Dina seem to have thought of every item to make their guests feel welcome and at home. Few larger and much more expensive hotels reach these standards. No question, we will be visiting this Inn again before too long.

I recently had the pleasure of being the minister to my good friends wedding here. The inn was absolutely gorgeous inside and out! A lovely and quiet environment, that is dominated by a highly picturesque view of the mountains. With coloforful landscaping and a cozy interior it was a wonderful setting for the small wedding, and the couple seemed to enjoy their stay just as much! I will definitely come back for a stay of my own sometime!

Perfect! Best accommodations in the area. We have stayed at the inn on at least nine separate occasions and have two more visits booked. Friendly innkeepers, great breakfast, extremely nice accommodations.

We just returned from our second stay at Brookside, and Carolyn and Dina made us feel like family coming home! This elegant home is immaculately clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The breakfasts (and snacks) that Dina prepares are beyond delicious. She has the magic touch! No other B&B could ever compare.

We just came home from a weekend at this gorgeous B&B. We have stayed at a few in Waynesville and this is THE one. The owners, Carolyn and Dina, haven't missed a beat in providing us with everything we needed including turn down service. Our room, The Plantation, was elegant and sooo comfortable! Each room looked as nice as the next. Good luck choosing. The scenery is breathtaking from their front porch, their back porch, their living and dining rooms. Speaking of breathtaking. Check out their breakfasts! We enjoyed a Blueberry Strata that had us all oohing and ahhing. It tasted as good as it looked. We are coming back next year to enjoy another time at this home away from home. Don't miss it if you're looking for quiet or action. It has them both.

This place is amazing! Spotlessly clean, beautiful rooms, incredible (I mean INCREDIBLE) food and wonderful hostesses. We loved it and cannot wait to go back. This is a "must stay".

This was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and I must say, I may never go back to a regular hotel again! The inn was so homey and comfortable, Dina and Carolyn were just as friendly and welcoming as can be, and what a charming location and decor! Everything was perfect, from the furnishings to the comfy leather couches by the fire to the bubbling jacuzzi tub in the Plantation room, and we even took advantage of the 30 minute beginner's Segway ride and had a ton of fun! Breakfast was a delight, with everything individually prepared and served hot right out of the oven, I have absolutely no complaints! If you're looking for breathtaking mountain views, a comfortable place to stay and relax just minutes from downtown Waynesville's shops and quaint restaurants, Asheville's downtown vibe and the gorgeous Biltmore Estate, look no further than Brookside Mountain Mist Inn! =D.
