Very clean, easy check in, extremely friendly. The lady working the breakfast this morning was so so helpful getting our table set with a highchair and went above and beyond. Will definitely stay here again if we need a hotel in the area!

I have to say this had been the best hotel we have stayed in. I need a reservation late at night and they worked with me. You can text the front desk! How cool is that? CLEAN! They take Covid serious, and as a medical family that is a huge deal! This will be my go to for trips to see my family here on out!

Got an Luxury King Suite and it was phenomenal! We had a couple of small issues with the room but they were addressed immediately and we were completely satisfied with our stay!

Everything! Paying $191.00 a night you would think you would have hot water, but no. Noisy rooms to say the least. You also can’t get in the shower without the thing seeming as though you are going to fall through it and the best thing is stains on the sheets. When you also book for 4 people in a room please put 4 sets of towels and NOT 2. People wonder why I would MUCH rather take my own camper… gee I wonder. I would NOT recommend this hotel at all.

I definitely recommend. We are a family of five with a toddler. We were given a room with a king as well as a full pullout from the sofa. As a bonus, the sofa had a side section, so all three could sleep very comfortably. No one complained about being uncomfortable and the King was the most comfortable mattress my hubby and I have ever experienced. I brought a pack and play for the baby and still had plenty of room to move around. The pool is four feet deep which was great for kids learning to swim. This mom appreciated the fact it was indoor and that they were able to swim even if it was raining. The hot tub was perfect temperature and the chlorine smell was not overpowering.
The breakfast was good and there were enough gluten free items that my hubby was able to enjoy his meal. The juice was warm due to machine malfunction and they were out of milk one of the mornings but we were able to get lemon water from the lobby so the kids had something cold to drink.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us find coupons or discounts for local attractions and rembursed us when we changed our mind about an event.
It is clean and inviting and my children enjoyed seeing other guests pets. Would definitely recommend for families needing a nice place to stay.

Rooms were very clean and orderly. Easy to find but access is a little tricky as you can only get to it from a certain side of the street. Continental breakfast starts at 6. Nice back deck available at all hours from what I could tell.

Loved this hotel! Clean, clean, clean! Excellent rooms and very pleasant atmosphere inside and out. The staff is outstanding and very warm and welcoming every time you encounter them. Great free breakfast with very nice presentation, best I've seen in this class of hotel. Breakfast room and foyer is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Hotel is pet friendly so we got to see lots of little furry friends out for walks while relaxing in the comfortable outdoor seating areas. Hotel is walking distance from many shops and a few reatsurants. It is located near a college so there were lots of young adults everywhere. Would stay here again, bravo La Quinta!

Great service. Very good continental breakfast. Very comfortable beds. The place itself is okay. Since pets are allowed, it was a little bit noisy sometimes. The bathroom needed some renovation.

This is definitely one of the nicest LQ's I've been too. And I've been to a ton all over the US… The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were so clean. They do a fantastic job cleaning up after peoples dogs. The staff here was friendly and hard working. Breakfast was divine. I will be staying here again for sure. TY for a great stay.

This place is top notch. Rooms are well kept and clean considering dogs are permitted here. Our dog loves it and the treats at the front desk. I'd recommend it to friends and family.

Would love to give a 5 star rating but this is the second time (year apart visits) that we had very little hot water. Seems to be the norm for them. The pillows were like bricks. With that being said the positives are a wonderful staff clean rooms and nice breakfast.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Friendly staff. Everything is always clean. The free breakfast is a plus. We will be staying here again on our next vacation.

We are regular La Quinta Elite Guests and have stayed in many La Quinta's with our dog. This is by far the best of the bunch. The beds are very comfortable. The front desk is courteous and friendly as is all the staff and especially the breakfast attendant, Laura. The new breakfast items are over-the-top with fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuts. Yum! The indoor swimming pool and spa are clean. The entire facility has been recently upgraded and is clean and well kept. Outdoor charcoal grills are even available for guests in a picnic area.

Loved the pool and spa, and the room was nice with a very comfy bed. Hailee at the front desk was really helpful. She recommended several restaurants to us and we loved the one we went to. Breakfast was good, but not a ton of options. Mostly carbs; waffles, muffins, oatmeal, toast and bagels. Fruit and yogurt, coffee and juice.

Loved the indoor pool and coziness of the hotel in general, but the location is excellent! You are in the middle of town so everything is convenient. It snowed while we were there but it was so beautiful. I will definitely be back. Nothing bad to report of this hotel. Mountains were BEAUTIFUL!

Love this hotel. Me and my husband have stayed here several times. Great location. Great staff. Pet friendly and they don't charge extra. Can't say enough about that. Hotel always want to penalize animal lovers. Have a great rewards program as well. Front desk will make recommendations as well. Can't wait to go back.

Freaking loved it! Great staff, fresh "homemade" cookies, awesome jacuzzi tub, accommodated my request for top floor. Just all around joy! Day 2, we slept like rocks and woke up without aches. The jacuzzi tub is hotter than Hades and the jets got every achy spot there was to be had. We are so happy!

This was our first time staying at La Quinta. We were very pleasant with the place. Staff very pleasant and available if you needed them. The room was well above nice! Breakfast was great! There was not anything wrong with the hotel. It was hard to tell which hotel was witch. There are 2 hotels side by side and you take the same entrance to go to both of them. I still don't remember seeing La Quinta sign in front or behind the hotel. The sign that I remembered was at the entrance road (that leads to 2 hotels). Need a better sign or one at check in door. Otherwise the hotel was very impressive! I would stay again!

I love that I can bring my dog. The hotel is clean and modern. I usually have a great experience at the hotel but I was a little upset that I called twice to confirm that I could check in an hour or two early only to arrive at the hotel an hour and a half before check in time and be rudely told that they would not allow early check in. Even though I explained my earlier conversation with the hotel staff that said it was ok they later said they do not allow it after I was in the lobby. Was a huge annoyance and on top of that my room wasn't ready until 30 minutes after check in.

This is by far the best La Quinta my husband and I have stayed in, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, very much a dog friendly hotel and It’s great they allow big dogs. The room was very clean and spacious, the hotel decor was very nice didn’t feel like your typical La Quinta. It’s in a nice area with everything just minutes away the mountain ski and snow tubing was just 30 min away which was great, only complaint was pillows were a bit stiff and tub was squeaky but those are minor things overall super satisfied with their hospitality definitely recommend and would definitely come back.

It was really a beautiful hotel! Wonderful wrap around porch with lots of wooden carved rockers and other seating, so relaxing! We loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Our room was spacious and clean. Extremely friendly staff. Well stocked breakfast. We would definitely stay again!

Stayed here on a business trip to Boone. It was a little hard to spot as the rustic appearance blends in nicely with the surroundings. Check in was friendly, and the front desk staff was cheerful and welcoming. There is a very nice wrap around deck, with plenty of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the mountain area. The rooms was clean and comfortable with a nice assortment of amenities. While the TV did not have a guide function, there was a decent selection of channels and a nice flat panel screen. The bed was a memory foam mattress, a bit firm for my taste but comfy enough and warm. Breakfast was an decent offering of cereals, different types of breads like bagels, doughnuts, etc, some do it yourself waffle mix with waffle irons, and a little mini fridge of microwavable breakfast sandwiches. They also provided milk, juice, and coffee. Checkout was also fast and friendly and I would say overall this was a pleasant experience.

Wonderful pet friendly hotel. Staff goes above and beyond. Good continental breakfast. Inside pool and hot tub. Great housekeepers. All around fantastic experience. Manager takes care of any problems personally.

This La Quinta location is our go to place when in western NC. Mountains. We love it out here. Great staff clean rooms great porch. Just wish their breakfast served fresh scrambled eggs or fresh hot sausages. I would highly recommended this place for a cozy nights stay (or 2).

Very nice! Me and my husband stayed over the weekend and we were both very pleased. Very clean and the people that worked there were very friendly. Would recommend to anyone and we will for sure be back in the future!

Great hotel. Very clean, friendly front desk service. Great free breakfast. Even though it is a hotel, it still has the feel of the mountains with the decor. We stayed on the 2nd floor. The pool is a little small but no complaints here.

Loved the atmosphere and theme! The staff was helpful and totally awesome. The views from our rooms were nice and I liked that you could open the window on the 3rd floor about 6 inches for fresh air. The indoor pool and spa were a comfortable size, clean and a good temperature. There was a walmart, convenience store, Tanger Outlet and other shopping very close by. Although I don't have pets it is a pet friendly hotel. It wad affordable (less than $85 per night with AAA card booked through the hotel by phone. No 3rd party site) I would stay there again.

Great, clean, friendly place to stay. Liked the mattresses too. 3 kids, 2 dogs, and myself stayed there while visiting my daughter @ Appalachian State.

First room smelled overwhelmingly like dog. Was upgraded to a two room suite. Only difference in the rooms was layout. Room was the same size with an extra door. Breakfast was sad. I left a shirt hanging in the room when I checked out and the front desk contacted me to let me know. I greatly appreciated that. Woman at the desk was fantastic in moving my room and apologizing for the issues in the first room.

It was a great experience especially because we could bring our dogs. The location is perfect for walks around Boone. We were even more surprised with the quality of our room, even though we used points to pay for it. We got the top floor as we requested, but also got a jacuzzi and fire place. The staff are great and the free breakfast was awesome.

We had a mix up with our reservation upon first arriving, and the staff at La Quinta was extremely helpful and patient while we got things sorted out. We got a room on the third floor and to our surprise, got a beautiful sunrise view in the morning. There were a variety of options for breakfast and the snacks and refreshments in the lobby throughout the day were a bonus! Only areas for improvement would be better bathroom fans (pretty noisy) and there was a little bit of a strange odor in the hallway to the gym. Overall wonderful stay and looking forward to coming back next time we're in Boone.

LOVE the beds. Tub was oddly creaky with every move while showering. They need to look into that. I didn't realize all the rooms were pet-friendly, but there are dogs everywhere. Some little yappy ones at that. Our room smelled like dog to me to be very honest, and I had to ask to have floor cleaned b/c there was dog hair and some food bits. I like dogs, so not a huge deal, but I don't have any right now, and just want a clean room. Staff is very friendly and, again, awesome beds!

Just stayed here with my family and loved it! Super friendly and attentive staff, especially Shay, seriously… she was the absolute best! Clean room, pool, hot tub, great options for breakfast! We've stayed here twice, and will definitely be coming back again soon! People, Shay was seriously one of the most attentive, genuine people I've met in a long time! La Quinta management… you have one amazing employee!

When you pull in make sure you go to the hotel on there left. The entrance is not marked well. The room was clean. Many dogs in rooms. The pet area is small and on a hill. Lots of outside seating. Overall a good place.

Pretty clean and comfortable rooms. The matress was so nice it allowed me to sleep through the night. Reasonably priced.

The condition of my room was excellent. It feels very new (fresh looking paint, clean carpet, clean fixtures). The bed sheets looked dirty, but we're replaced when asked about. Continental breakfast is very good as well. I've highly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to others as well.

Had a wonderful nights stay here. The staff at the front desk was courteous and speedy. Enjoyed a warm cookie. The 2 queen suite was spacious and clean. Enjoyed the hot tub. The covered porches were nice and inviting loooking. Breakfast was 2 kinds of waffles and had breakfast sandwiches besides your other normal items. Will keep this place in mind for future travel with the dogs since it is pet friendly.

Lovely and rustic feeling hotel in a great location. Love the free breakfast, Wi-Fi and the rates weren't too bad. Also love the pool for leisure or exercise.

As ASU parents, we were happy to find this hotel. Takes pets, good pool and hot tub, the rooms were clean and the mattresses the most comfortable I've slept on. Our last three visits have been extremely disappointing. The hot tub has not been working and were were not told that when we checked in, all three times. If I ever stay here again, I will definitely call to confirm it's operational before I book. This latest time, we wanted to buy bottles of water from their vending area — and when we took them to the front desk there was a sign saying the desk clerk was away doing other things. We waited nearly 5 minutes, and when she arrived, she said we couldn't charge the water to the room. We had been on our way to the hot tub (which we found out was broken when we finally got there), so didn't have any cash or credit cards on us. My husband had to walk all the way back up to our room to get a credit card to pay for the water. That is ridiculous and costs the hotel more money than it would to put the water on our bill. The desk clerk said, "I don't make the rules". Very disappointed this time and our previous two visits and likely won't be back.

This hotel is amazing. It's pet friendly, has a good lodge-type feeling to it and has a super friendly staff who is very helpful with anything we needed.

They mixed up our room reservation, but made it up to us by giving us another room, free of charge. The rooms are very nice.

I didn't like one dang things other than the bed was soft! Everything was fine when we first got there and checked in! Went up to the room to find it not cleaned worth and crap! There was hairs all in the drawers where we were to put our clothes so my husband went out and told the lady about it and got a rag to wipe out the drawers witch was NOT our job to do! The tub was the most creaking and cracking sound that I have ever heard in a hotel! We didn't even use the cleaning lady! We only slept in the room not party! Anytime I go on vacation I check my card to make sure no one has used it and tonight I checked my account and there was a $50 charge to my card Really for what? so I called at 12 midnight to find out. The man looked it up and said it was for damages lol really how dose sleeping in a bed damage a room? The hot tub wasn't even working we not once complained about the stuff we just tried to enjoy our stay! When I talk to the guy tonight he said most of the time this charge is for smoking lol Nether me or my husband smoke so I know that was a lay! So I called my Credit card company for a dispute because I did not authorize the $50 charge and I'm wondering how many other people they've done it to besides me! And that they don't even know. So if u stay here u might want to take pictures b4 and after. But if I were u I would t stay there. There's much better places than this place. Not happy at all!

Very professional and caring staff. Even though they are in the middle of an extensive remodel, their guest are still their number 1 priority. Very pleased to be spending my 11 weeks in Boone here at this wonderful hotel.

Wonderful Hotel. Reminded me of The Wilderness Lodge in Disney World a little. The hotel had so much rustic charm and a ton of character. From the wrap around porch to the impeccably clean rooms to the wonderful breakfast. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. We stayed in a suite with a king size bed, pull-out sofa bed, two (non HD) TVs, refrigerator and microwave. The Tempurpedic bed was the nicest feature of the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. They offer a good military discount, but without the discount it seems overpriced. Overall a nice stay in an above average "average hotel. ".

We stayed at the LaQuinta Inn in Boone recently. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very nice. We ordered room service (which we never do) from the Casa Rustica Restaurant. The food was delivered on time and was very good.

My family of 4 along with our dog, stayed on night at the LaQuinta and we very impressed. Staff was super friendly, room accomodations were very nice. Very pet friendly and found that this place was popular for those of us traveling with pets, yet Hotel was very clean. We all enjoyed the free Continental breakfast, that we were surprised to find that consisted of way more then bagels and donuts. My kids loved it! I definitely would stay with them again.

Well I did have a glowing review for this hotel until morning at 930am when someone just opened my door without knocking and with a donot disturb sign on the door. Other than that is was a very nice hotel one of the best locations I have stayed at, staff needs work though the manager seemed intent on explaining to me why she entered the room, but seemed to not understand that checkout wasn't untill 11am. No one should be opening my door just because I didn't stay another night. Again checkout is at 11am. Until a guest checks out, you shouldn't enter the room. Why I have to explain hotel proceedure to a manager is beyond me.
