This place is our favorite. Family run… and family oriented. Nice rooms that are comfortable and clean. The view cannot be topped. Thinking now about when to reserve a stay again.

Away from the crowdedness of Lake Placid. The most epic beautiful views of Whiteface. Low key rooms that are affordable with no price gouging. Owner is a great guy who truly cares about your experience.

A non chain owned hotel. Definitely has character, I think some people had jobs solely entertaining guests. the view is worth every penny. I would choose it over lake placid again. dog friendly is always a plus. Remarkable no dog hair in room. Which baffles me. I can't get my house dog free ever it seems.

The motel has great views and a great location to whiteface mountain and the near by trails. It is a little hike to lake placid which makes this location a little more quite and more cost effective. The motel has 2 lean tos for campfires it does have a pool but it was not open when we were there in October. The rooms were clean but the place felt like a motel a little old and in need of new paint, mattresses, sheets, doors, etc. I would consider staying here again in the future for skiing.

The price was good and the rooms were very clean. I liked the country feel of the stay. The hospitality was second to none. Eric went out of his way to make it a great stay. Definitely going back.

We stayed here with a group of nine. This place has amazing customer service. Very accommodating and personal. An amazing view of the peaks from our balcony. Has an outdoor pool a games room. I'll definitely be coming back here. Added value to our vacation trip we didn't expect.

Family run. They go out of their way for you. Fantastic views close to everything. Campfires at night are fun. The only negative I could find was the pool is really cold but don't let that stop you from visiting. Wonderful place.

Been here twice in 2 months! Love everything about it from the owner and staff to waking up to the most beautiful view of Whiteface Mountain right out of the room window. Everyone there is so accommodating anything you need they will do or get! Anything and everything you are looking to do are all only minutes away! My family and I have now experienced spring and summer here and can’t wait to make more memories here in the winter months… see you soon our ledge rock family!

If a rustic, off the beaten path retreat is what you're looking for you will certainly find it here. Located ten miles from downtown Lake Placid the lodge offers a quiet retreat setting close to local attractions. The rooms all face Whiteface mountain and each offers spectacular sunrise and sunset views of the mountain. Seasonal activities also make the lodge/motel a great choice year round. The staff are friendly and attentive and the rooms are spacious and well equipped and the beds are comfortable. If you are in the Adirondack region and are looking for a great family friendly place to stay I highly recommend Ledge Rock at Whiteface!

Super beautiful and scenic views, free Wi-Fi, pool, and swing set :) Owner (Roger) was extremely friendly and didn’t hesitate to bring us more linens, toiletries, and towels (we had a big group! ). Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Definitely recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

Beautiful view, comfortable rooms, and free Wi-Fi. The owner was accommodation and friendly. There was a swing set and lots of grass and chairs to sit on oitside. The owner did not hesitate to bring us extra towels and sheets. The breakfast included coffee, snacks, cereal and a lot more. Would definitely recommend and come back in the future!

Rooms are clean, management are so friendly and caring. Incredible location, the view of whiteface is stunning and it is the closest hotel to the mountain. Do not hesitate to stay here.

Stayed their during the 2018 New Year, being from South Maryland I was in aware of how severe the cold could be and my Diesel pickup fuel gelled the management their helped put a tarp over my vehicle and gave me a propane heater too use so I could warm the vehicle up was able to get everything taken care of. With the help the staff I could ask for a more CALM a pleasant environment! If you are in the area to go to whiteface for skiing, go here it is literally a block away from the mountain prices are very reasonable, also be on the look out Ledge Rock is hands down the best around.

The staff especially Eric was beyond helpful, professional and courteous. He assisted a colleague and friend who was in need and we could not be more grateful for his and ledge rock's generosity. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone. Thank you again so much.

I would like to say Thank You to the staff (especially Eric) for helping a fellow coworker of mine through a difficult time. From the minute we contacted them, Eric made sure their stay would be special. I would recommend anyone to visit them.

I went up this past weekend and had a great time. It was our first time in the area and Roger, Eric and the rest of the staff were outstanding. From recommending sites and attractions to dinner recommendations they were great. The suite was huge with plenty of space to spread out. Close proximity to Lake Placid and the North Pole. Whiteface Mountain was literally across the street as well as a gorge that you can nature walk through. The staff even set out sleds for my kids to play on and brought hot chocolate out to us. We didn't want to leave. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to go back.

Stayed here due to a death in the family, Roger the owner was terrific! Place is very clean and of course the view of Whiteface is awesome. Highly recommend this place.

Roger is the best! We enjoyed our stay here. There is a million dollar view from every room and they go out of there way to accommodate you! Highly recommend this establishment!

Staff is very friendly. Room was fairly large for the price. Price was reasonable for the area. Hotel was an older hotel that has not been updated. Does have flatscreen TV's and Wi-Fi.

This place is awesome… sure I will visit again. N imp thing is our kids enjoyed it a lot. Owner is very friendly. Makes us comfortable.

The owner is sooo incredibly sweet and very accommodating. The runs are extremely clean, spacious and cool! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Roger is the new owner. And boy, he'll show you a great time. He put on Opera when my family and I arrived and started a camp fire for us too. The greatest place to stay while you're in Wilmington or Lake Placid.

Great place to stay! Roger and his sons keep this place in excellent, CLEAN condition! Nervous trying a new place with my son but we had a great time. We stayed in the suite with the kitchen and couldn't of felt more at home. Owners and managers were very accommodating and gave great recommendations. Great place to stay and the view was AMAZING! Will be back for sure!

Awesome, from the views of whiteface mountain to the outstanding customer service the Ledge Rock is the best. We are already planning our next vacation here.

The Ledgerock was a great place to stay over night. We were climbing Mt. Marcy the next day and it was very close to the high peaks and lake placid. Nothing to complain about in the room either. Bathroom door doesn't lock, but staying with your s. O. It doesn't make a difference. Thanks Ledgerock.

It has a great view in the fall.

This motel is literally a 2 minute drive from your room to the ski base area at Whiteface. They also have good deals on Ski+Stay packages in the winter for discounted lift tickets. Aside from the skiing benefits, the rates are inexpensive for the area and the rooms are pretty good. Clean, well maintained, and larger than we're used to for similar ski trips, we fit 3 adults easily and could have brought a few more. Only negative was the wireless internet was out in our room but was still available in the common room. No other problems or noise issues. Definitely would return here if we're in the Lake Placid area again.
