Conveniently located. Very clean. They have a small work out room & a pool. Very clean. Friendly staff. There’s a restaurant inside the hotel but disappointed with the food.

My family and I love this hotel been here plenty of times. The kids love the pool and arcade. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, Lets not forget the breakfast its delicious. Would recommend anyone!

My medication went "missing" I was told 3 different stories. It was picked up by mail it was dropped off but has disappeared.

Wonderful staff. Meeting rooms were set as requested and additional requests were handled quickly. Guest rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet.

Very nice large indoor pool with arcade area. Nice interior design in dining room & pool area. Spacious fitness center. Everything is very well-maintained! Nice breakfast with sausages, eggs, maple bacon, fruit, pastries, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, & 4 types of juices. Everyone is nice. To top it off, the hotel staff gave our kids ice cream on our last day! Yup! He knows well that happy kids make happy parents! Highly recommend this hotel, will definitely stay here again next time we vacation in this area.

Horrible stay! Rude manager Dylan, unpleasant, my daughter cut her foot on an electrical socket not covered in the game Room, metal pieces from the pool were in the bottom of the pool the kids kept handing them to us. The pool area and around the pool outside of the gate were soaking wet with huge puddles everywhere. No only did my niece fall and smacked her head off the tile but another guest did too as we watched. Would never stay again!

I stayed here one night while passing through the Catskills on my motorcycle. Honestly, I haven’t thought much of Best Western hotels in recent years, but this change my perception. Very clean room, nicely decorated and a helpful staff. This place is huge. Large indoor pool, recreational area and work out room. The complementary breakfast in the morning was good. For the price you pay, I highly recommend.

I realized, by my mistake, that now the single sporadic and sudden customer is treated as a customer of series B. If you book through large booking companies you receive a more appropriate treatment (quality and price). Showing up on their own and suddenly they gave us a room with small bathroom and the cost that I find high. Next time it will certainly be better.

I was in charge of planning a family reunion where this hotel was used as our headquarters. The staff was very helpful in making sure that our stay was a good one. I received many compliments on our banquet where the 50 attendees were from all over the country. The food was excellent and the servers were very considerate of our time schedule and speaker. We were provided with a suite that was able to be used as a gathering place for family members. It was located next to a courtyard with tables where more could gather. I left various items with the front desk staff for pickup by family members and they were very good in making sure these items were delivered. A cousin and I stayed in the suite and we were pleased with the cleanliness and service provided. We hope to return in 3 years for our next family reunion.

Been there many times for different functions. Pretty large banquet hall. Food served is good. I gave it 4 out of 5 because of the parking lot. If you one of the last to leave and parked futher away, I feel that I am alone in a lower light area, in a not so good city.

A great older Motel with good upgrades. The restaurant is convenient and great. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you don't like fabric softener in the laundry, take your own pillow cases. Very clean otherwise and quiet. Great for dogs.

I had a nice stay here. There was nothing really wrong. It didn't blow me away, but it was enjoyable.

Overall a good one night stay. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, air conditioning very good, Wifi was fast, and the have a pool and small fitness center with some treadmills and dumbbells. Breakfast buffet was better than I expected.

Clean and crisp white linens and a very comfortable bed and selection of pillows. Overall, the room was clean with the exception of dust. All staff we engaged with were very pleasant and helpful. The pool/game room area and swimming pool were highlights of the trip. The pool was very clean and comfortable temperature of the water made it very relaxing. Breakfast was enjoyable as well with many hot and cold choices, especially liked the make your own waffle station. Overall a very enjoyable trip and I would recommend this hotel and will choose it again should we be in the area.

The staff was pleasant and the beds were very comfortable. I was very upset that there was a gun show taking place upon my arrival, which happened to be the same day as another school shooting. I felt this was disrespectful and inappropriate. I also felt uncomfortable being around so many people with guns while I was staying at a hotel with my kids. The room also smelled funny and there was black mold growing on the bathroom ceiling.

It was a nice hotel to stay at, for my work trip, would definitely stay there again if I'm ever back in the area. Great complimentary breakfast and service.

It was ok to sleep. Sort of. The air conditioning sounded like a diesel truck! It took hours for the room to cool. The layout of the hotel was bizarre! The good thing was the breakfast the following morning. Really good! To lay your head for a night it was fine. Would not be able to stay for more than one night, no more.

I went to Kingston for the Catskills Great Outdoor Expo, held at the Best Western Plus. The event was in the Conference Room. The area was smaller than I thought it would be but plenty of room for about 20 tables with different vendors and presentations. Enjoyed the Expo but didn't see any of the actual Hotel.

Excellent service with dog friendly rooms, comfortable beds and convenient location. The staff was amazing when my dog managed to get out of my room while I went to dinner. They called me and explained the situation while keeping him safe until my quick return. I can not recommend this hotel enough.

Rooms were clean, friendly staff, great breakfast! I love this place, the pool is heated and wonderful! Would recommend to everyone to stay here!

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool area was very nice, the staff were great and the food (breakfast) was excellent! We will definitely be returning when visiting the area.

Was perfect for weekend get away with family. Kids loved the pool and free breakfast. The rooms were on the smaller side but still comfortable. Also convenient to major highways.

An amazing place to stay. Very respectful and polite staff. Great quality of rooms and very clean. Amazing food in restaurant. Nice to have a great breakfast in the morning too. The eggs didn't taste like power eggs like I normally get at other locations. Great Job and will stay here again if I am in the area.

We had a great stay once again at the Best Western, the hoyel. Of our choice. The only problem I am had is that better pricing was not offered for the extension of our stay, we originally booked for the weekend but then our family member died and I extended our stay from a weekend to a week and told this to the desk and no one offered a deal for us staying longer, it would have been nice considering we spent so much money already. Also we have always stayed at best western and not once did I ever receive the $10 gift card advertised on the website for our stays. Other then that the service and staff was great.

An amazing experience. For $80 (via Priceline), we came to a hotel that was newly renovated, very well decorated, and came stocked with many amenities — lounge/bar, indoor swimming pool, etc. That I wish I had time for. The hotel room looked great and was well stocked with some great soaps/shampoos/etc. — and came included with a shower cap for the thoroughly modern shower (versus a bathtub). There was good in-room coffee. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were soft. The included breakfast was fantastic — actual cooked sausages, two types of eggs (cheese and plain), and home fries, variety of juices, and crisp water. The room made it hard to get out the next morning to photograph landscapes in — 5f weather!

Heated pool, fitness center, arcade games and ample seating space near the pool: great experience. No jacuzzi however. All the rooms either overlook outside or the Central pool area. Very close to the shopping plaza. There's a decent bar and restaurant in the hotel itself. The staff is a little cold however.

Went for a work event. Was very nice food was good. Very clean. Just wish the bathroom stalls were better. Very tight space.

This hotel is clean, cozy and has a very unusual inner courtyard. When I was there it was quite overcrowded because of several events it hosted at the same time. The audience we're couples with kids which were super noisy especially during breakfast. Overall it's a nice place but some amenities require renovation.

The rooms are a but odd as the numbers jump around. The lady at the front desk was explaining this to us when telling us where our rooms would be — glad she did, otherwise we'd have been really confused. The staff was OK; the front desk manager was friendly and helpful; the bartender I believe was under a lot of stress and wasn't quite the friendliest person. The crew who was making rounds taking empty dishes took ones we were not finished with yet (it was clear), and others had poured water in our soda/drink that wasn't previously water. The rooms were ok. We stayed on the second floor, and you have to go to the pool room to the correct t elevator to take you up (there's one by the lobby, but that is the incorrect elevator…), so the layout as a whole is a little odd. We stayed at the same time where was another event going on so in the morning the complimentary breakfast was a hot mess; quite a line of people trying to get breakfast and sit down, staff squeezing in and out between the lines to try to keep everything filled up. Overall, the stay and the staff was OK, I don't feel I can give a real proper review because there were two very large events happening at the same time and perhaps they were not quite prepared for it and I can't judge how they are normally.

Room was good, location was good, service was decent. But to have the only ATM in the building broken during events that have over 200 people and have the bar be cash only is a major inconvenience. Then to be told to walk 10 minutes in below 30 degree weather while it's snowing to get cash is our best option is not acceptable. And then after all that, we find out that the other bar in the hotel does take card after all. Incredibly frustrating that none of the three employees we talked with mentioned this. Then to top it all off, the bar started serving drinks in smaller glasses half way through the night while charging the same price. Food was decent, but ultimately hotel quality. Bed was nice.

Went here for a conference. Location is not so hot but the hotel makes up for it in design and service. Love the new updated rooms and the food at the restaurant is excellent. I was really happy with that. Plus they had complimentary breakfast. ;)

Nice stay, helpful service. Fire alarm went off for no reason one night for a while. Staff apologized profusely for the noise. All in all a nice place to stay.

A large place, with many amenities, but not very attractive, especially compared to the rest of the village.

Nice motel if you stay in the lobby and the restaurant. The room was very small, outdated and dark. The bath room was very tiny, but it did have a built-in night light which was nice. The Guest laundry was tiny with 2 washers and only 1 dryer. One of the washers left my clothes dripping wet, so I had to wash them over again in the other washer just to get a spin dry. Both washers had very short cycles of about 20 minutes, so who know if they really cleaned my clothes.

We only spent one night here, but would definitely stay again if we need to stay in the area. Great service at the front desk and bar. Rooms were nice and clean.

Looking for a place to stay in Kingston well this is a good option. Clean friendly staff and not too far from historic sites or the highway. Off season rates are very fair. Breakfast which was included had some nice hot options and was replaced multiple times. Dinner specials seemed like a good value. Pool was inside and rarely had more than a few quests in it. Small but adequate work out space and game room.

Excellent king bed room with all the expected amenities. Only a shower, no bath tub, which is fine by us. Typical continental + hot stuff breakfast, and surprisingly decent coffee! Really different enclosed middle area housed the very warm pool and arcade, as well as a separately enclosed gym — but you better like working-out on display because it's three walls of glass overlooking the pool. Super friendly front desk staff both in the morning and evening. Everything was very clean. Thank you!

The best western in Kingston N. Y. Is awesome! It's clean inside and out. Their staff is kind, and always smiling. They jump to help you and will even give you a map on how to get to your room, and even explain it to you! The restaurant is great! Food is good, and wait staff is excellent! I highly recommend this hotel!

My husband and I just had our wedding reception here and the service was off the charts! We had amazing food from appetizers hot and cold to a delicious dinner served later on in the evening. Sage helped us plan and get organized for the wedding while Dillon took over the day of the wedding. They were both amazing. The space was impressive, the food was delicious and the free room accommodation was on point. We got a huge suite which was so clean and spacious every single part of our experience was above and beyond! We highly recommend The Best Western!

Excellent staff. They went out of their way to help us and take care of us. Rooms were clean and neat. Breakfast was OK typical standard fare for a hotel. Location was convenient for everything, but once again the staff was wonderful and the kids had a great time with the pool and game room the food at the hotel was surprisingly good at dinner and the bartender was very entertaining.

Rooms and amenities were excellent. The included breakfast was great. My kids loved the pool and games. The one down side was that I called and made a reservation, when I called in route to the hotel, my reservation was not in the system. I had to make a second reservation but was able to get the same price. Lastly, the ability to have late check-out at no extra cost was very nice benefit.

We just had our New Year's Eve wedding here and it was amazing. The staff was friendly, the facility clean, and the food outstanding. Everyone had a great time and I can't recommend this venue enough. The prices were extremely reasonable and the level of quality and service we received was better than many higher priced venues! The breakfast in the morning was bountiful with hot and cold options and many of our guests used the pool the morning after the wedding with their families.

My family stayed there for two nights. My 75 year old parents stayed in the room next to ours. Both days, there was a car alarm going off, disturbing us and waking my father who was trying to rest with a bad back. The hotel does not require guests to register their vehicles when checking in and therefore, were unable to locate the owners of the vehicle.
The rooms were ok, need some serious updating. The pool and lobby were nice and the complimentary breakfast was good, especially the coffee.

The rooms are clean, front desk service is amazing, and a top quality pizza joint is at the end of the driveway. Always stay here when I'm in the area. That being said, the bar service needs attention. My first time the bartender left the bar for half an hour while I sat there waiting to get a drink, and when I did get it it was LOADED. This last time, I got service quickly… And with a hair sticking out of my glass…

Bed was very comfortable. Other guests were rude but that's not the hotels fault.

Staff was very friendly, the recently renovated interior was tasteful and we'll done, the beds were comfy, the hallways smelled nice, and the Bistro had good food and some awesome beers brewed right in Kingston (Keegan Ales). We even got to flip through channels as we had the bar to ourselves for a bit. The AC/heater was also easy to use and quiet and didn't wake me up when it switched modes. I'm a very light sleeper and have been easily woken up by AC units kicking on. Great overall experience. Also within walking distance to many great bars, pubs, and shops.

Horrendous staff. Not family friendly. While visiting family from out of state, my wife, our three children, her sister and one child were made to leave the pool all so that the pool attendant could continue playing on his laptop, iPhone and his girlfriend could swim without the noise of children. Just before the pool attendant called the front desk (because person's not actually staying at the pool were in the pool) he put away his electronics and the girl accompanying him left the pool area. Other than the pool attendants girlfriend there was not one other sole in the vicinity. The customer had stayed at this hotel for over 30 years and last Sunday was the last time staying. Absolutely horrible experience to end three decades of memories. There are much better choices in the Kingston area than this unfriendly, unwelcoming atmosphere.

First, I want to make it clear, everyone working there was fantastic. If I was only rating them, I would give five stars. The hotel was also attractive and the food was pretty good. However. The room, while neat and clean and well cared for, was designed only for people over six feet tall. I am not six feet tall, but I'm not extremely short either. Getting in and out of the bed was a struggle as the top of the mattress was at waist height. I could not even reach the mirror on the swing out arm, so forget about seeing in it. And the shower was a nightmare. A glass door that went half way across so water sprayed out all over from the open half. The shower head was unreachable to make any adjustment. And worst of all, the door, which was stationary, blocked access to the handle controlling the water unless you got in, which meant being hit with freezing cold water.

I stayed here for a wedding about 20 minutes away and was pleasantly surprised upon arrival to see that the facility was recently renovated and the rooms much nicer than I expected for a Best Western. The beds in my two queen room were beautiful and staying in room 413, I was afforded a view of the Esopus Creek. I found the noise level to be great despite having an adjoining room door and the entire hotel to be very clean. Breakfasts are included with the room rate and is pretty decent, though expect a huge crowd, especially on a wedding weekend.

Flat Screen TV with fuzzy picture. Breakfast was hot and tasteless. Coffee was horrible. Pool was nice and warm. Very kid friendly! Room was clean and bed comfy. AC got the room ICE cold (love it). Staff was nice. 2 Adults, 2kids and we would stay again.

My family has been choosing this hotel as our "getaway resort of choice" for years! The newly refurbished hotel is gorgeous, and we LOVE what you've done there! The openness of the lobby with the stunning fireplace, the tasteful rooms, the more-open patio area, the AMAZING gym which is gorgeous, invitingly cool, top-of-the-line & state-of-the-art, etc. (and SPECIAL THANKS for the individual monitors on the treadmills! ) And we loved the new seating areas in front (but we miss the fishpond! ) Special commendations to a few. Your Manager, Mr. John Turner (is that correct? ) is always immaculate, gracious and makes us feel like family. He takes great pride in his "ship" and excitedly guides us on personal tours of upgrades made to the facility and grounds. (Does he LIVE there? At 11 PM Friday night, he was tracking a storm moving through the area, warning us to take our walk before it hits! ) Bill, a young man at the Front Desk, is cordial and way-above-the-call-of-duty helpful and patient. Also, the young custodian who made constant 'rounds' throughout the facility, together with a new intern/trainee, were always available, helpful and understanding. This lovely hotel is perfectly situated for us, just 2 hours from NYC/Long Island and at the foothold of the Catskills. We love the Kingston Train, white-water tubing on the Esopus (in the Winter we went to nearby skiing and snow-tubing! ) and the pleasant, picturesque and quaint downtown Kingston.
