I got a really good deal and a day before I am to be there they called me and canceled my reservations claiming corona but when I and looked them up they actually bumped the price and extra $150 per night.

We had a wonderful time at Montauk Blue… very clean. The rooms aren’t that big but they are oceanfront! Walking distance to town. Complimentary umbrella and chairs until 5pm … loved everything about hotel.

Beach lovers paradise. Rooms are on the beach. Waves are. Doing their job with peaceful and relaxing sounds. Many excellent restaurants in the area as well.

Been coming here for the last 2 weeks of June for over a decade. Love it here! Balcony room overseeing the beautiful ocean. This year they now offer beach chairs, umbrellas & towels for customers. Great idea! This is the top hotel out here, bar to none. They have an indoor pool & jacuzzi. Manager, Priscilla, does a fine job. 5 star all around!

Montauk Blue is a nice hotel on the oceanfront of Montauk's prime beaches. They are recently renovated, but their pictures exhibit much cleaner qualities than the rooms themselves portray. That's not to say the rooms are filthy — they aren't. For a beachfront hotel, it was surprisingly adequate. Carpets could use more cleaning and shower drains need work as sandy guests likely clog the drains. The most pleasant part of the stay was the friendly staff. Everyone I spoke to was accommodating and helpful and I never noticed any attitude or otherwise. The room — a standard oceanfront king — was a bit pricey for being off-season, but otherwise the stay was enjoyable.

Nothing beats Montauk Blue Hotel for an amazing vacation. Staff is wonderful with beautiful rooms right on the beach. Wake up, walk outside and enjoy. 5 stars!

Anyone who knows MTK and wants to stay on the beach near town needs to spend a few days @ Blue. First, let me start with the first call I made to book the room. I had the pleasure of Janet answering the phone and needless to say she was a gem! She was so pleasant with answering my questions and getting me the best rate possible. Anyone in the customer service industry could take a lesson from her. And just when you think it couldn't get any better… We met Priscilla when we checked in who is the manager of the property. What an unexpected surprise how interested she was to get to know my wife and I. We spent quite a bit of time chit chatting and we really felt like we were welcomed. Guys… This place is fantastic and if they have availability there is no reason not to pay the price and stay @ Blue. Thanks to Janet and Priscilla for making our getaway to MTK without the kids extra special. Looking forward to seeing you both again. We stayed 2 nights July 2018. Thanks, Warren & Kelly.

The hotel is wonderful. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The price was low compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel is right on the beach which was great. I would absolutely stay here again.

I found a deal for 30% off when staying weekdays in June for 3+ days. We had room 124 which is past the pool, 2nd floor and has a partial view of the ocean (even tho it is the cost of a no view). I actually preferred this to the ocean front because you have privacy on your balcony. It was RIGHT on the beach, plus a pool and hot tub. Only thing they don't provide are beach towels. If you live in the area, bring your own chairs and umbrellas because the rentals seem pricey. Loved this place and I would want to come every year!

Nice hotel with clean rooms and a terrace for each room, unfortunately didnt get an ocean view. The pool is nice too but opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm.

Were very nice and we could easily change rooms. Not because it wasn't nice, only my girlfriend preferred to go to the top floor because she wanted to leave the balcony door open at night. Beds were good, clear this kind with only a large duvet is unusual for Germans, but was ok. Beds were good.
Small coffee machine in the room, the woman was happy about it. I was very happy about the small refrigerator, you don't have anywhere in our home anymore, which I don't understand, but that's a different story.
Everything was clean and well maintained.
Since we were in pre-season the prices were ok, but here on the corner everything is expensive, so you shouldn't complain about it either.
We'd love to come back!

Great, modern rooms, back porch leads directly to the sandy, pebble embelished beach. Clean and spotless room with walk in shower. We had the "please do not disturb" sign and workers left clean towels, toilet paper, extra coffee, etc, hanging from the door. I feel this adds a 6th star to this hotel. Absolutely staying here again and highly recomend. Do bring cash. Most eateries around accept cash only. Everything is near by, brick oven pizza, crab/seafood, pancake houses, surf schools, etc.

I give it 5 stars cause it best what it fits… I just this as a new weekend getaway. It's small but very clean and like the room color. The beach outside ur door. A great place to relax and take it easy with family or wife or girlfriend. No weird smells or dusty breathing room… easy. Parking… if ur looking to be treated like the president. It's not the place… but if ur looking for a place to get away for the weekend and a place to crash… this is the place…

Great location but very basic amenities. Room was clean but on the old side and the back deck furniture was just a couple of plastic chairs. Come here for the view and the proximity to town. Would stay again for the right price.

It was off season and we drove out there on a whim. They tried to charge us top dollar for a crappy room. We went down the block to the Royal Atlantic Montauk hotel and got a great room for a great price and had the best time EVER. You can see our posts on their website!

For sure, the hotel have an amazing view to the ocean and direct access to the beach! But, we came in November, the hotel was almost empty it was for our wedding anniversary I asked them to give us their best room to make our stay wonderful, but nothing not even " Happy wedding anniversary"! The rooms are small, not very clean!, Bathroom small… But the thing that's makes me very upset is that we have a room that it couldn't be closed with the key! Oh also, they have a key for the rooms and not a card like the most hotel have in our days. But anyway, it was a stay OK but not amazing …

This hotel was pretty decent for the price (188). I came here for the montauk bromantic getaway experience and it provided the necessities. The room was fairly clean and came with soap, conditioner, and gargle, but no toothbrush or toothpaste so get your own. The view was pretty amazing and woke up early to build a sunrise bonfire at the beach at 7:13am. Would recommend for other couples or bros.

I'm not sure how anyone finds a way to complain about paradise. I could not have stayed in a nicer place on the beach. The staff I bumped into were also extremely friendly.

My husband and I were in NY to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. 1 1/2 days in Manhattan and 1 1/2 days on Long Island. We have been to some of the worlds finest resorts and some of the worst. I really enjoyed our night here. There was nothing fancy about the place but we received a warm welcome upon arrival and were bumped to a king ocean view lst floor. Had a comfy bed and woke to a beautiful beach. No complaints and I'd certainly go back! The high price is just a New York thing to be expected. I'd recommend this place for sure!

The location couldn't be better, right on the ocean. The room is nice, rug can use shampooing. The bathroom is small and the shower really tiny. Price was over $300 for one night. I'd say that is to high for off season and the room. Luckily we had a beautiful day to spend on the beach. It also has an indoor pool and jacuzzi.

Excellent oceanfront hotel. Pristine rooms. Housekeeping does a great job. Always clean and smells nice. Views from the balcony are second to none. Walking distance to restaurants and the center of town.

This place is dated and we had holes and cracks in our walls. I also called to let them know we had black mold and dirt on our sliding glass doors. They were supposed to clean the doors and fix the wall. They speckled the wall and wanted us to relocate to another room. I chose to enjoy our time instead of waste it moving. We will not be returning to this location. Very disappointing.

Couldn't say more than — get a oceanview room and soak in the salt air. Simple accommodations, but it was clean, very decorated and modernized. No beach towel service, bring your own! Walkable to all the cute spots on the main strip in Montauk but you'd need a car to go explore more, or rent bikes nearby.

Great location with stunning views. Staff was very friendly, room was clean, contemporary, and functional. We had a beach front room and the view from our deck was stunning, the ocean was right in front of us. That is what you are paying for and it is worth it. The room is nicely decorated, but keep in mind the rooms are more on the budget side, but they work. They need to clean the sliding doors better, the view is the main draw and the glass is very dirty. The locks are a bit fidgety, but otherwise it is a great option in the area. It is also walking distance into town so you get the best of both worlds.

My family and I loved it! Obviously, if you're looking for a luxurious pampered place to stay, you go to Gurney's (on Ocean side) or Montauk Yacht Club (on Lake side and Marina). If you're looking for a clean, semi-modern oceanfront room that has an indoor pool for the kids and a walk to downtown Montauk (full of shops and places to eat), Blue is the place to go. Had a great time! This weekend was packed with families. Will be back.

Great location right on the beach. Friendly staff addressed our concerns without issue. Walls are a bit thin and we could hear lots of footsteps upstairs. Pool was nice. Wifi a touch spotty, but all in all a great experience for my first time to Montauk. Went on a Monday.

Nice rooms for the area. Indoor pool that has a ton of open windows. Super easy access to the beach, nice staff. Walls are kind of thin, I stayed on the first floor and the people above us sounded like they were in our room.

This motel has a great location but it is an old fashioned motel — nothing fancy here. The rooms are clean — very important — but could use some repairs/updating. We stayed on the first floor and could here the active family banging away upstairs very clearly. Out rate in mid May was $170 but learned the rate for the same room went up to $700+ on weekends in July and August — wow! Nice inside pool and hot tub.

This hotel has an excellent location, right by the beach. Also they had clean towels and blanquets. The room was also clean. This is it! The rooms interior show years of decay with cracks on the walls and dents on the door. Furniture is falling apart. The desk and drawers had to be leveled with pieces of toilet paper. However, this is not the main problem: The treatment that my son, my wife, and I received from the hotel manager Ms. Tracy was terrible, rude, and offensive. Also they are much disorganized at the front desk/reservations. When we checked in on Monday September 7, 2015. The reception ladies were kind of rude, but my son had patience because it was the day after Labor Day, it must've been really busy. 30 minutes pass and then while waiting there, they told my son that there were no rooms available because they were still cleaning. Then, a white couple come in, and sure enough, they're given a room right then and there. The ladies at the front noticed his dismay, and then they said that they were "upgrading" us to a king size room. They give him the keys of room 481. My son went here with our luggage, and my wife and I in toe (behind him), open the door, and my son saw a passed out, naked lady in the room with all sorts of condoms and liquor bottles on the floor. Immediately, my son told us not to come in, that there is someone in there. My son went back to the front desk immediately and they gave him another room that magically presented itself.
