Great location at the head of Seneca Lake. There's a restaurant with outdoor seating at the hotel as well as a large grass area with chairs where you can sit by the waterfront. A walking/biking trail runs along the waterfront and restaurants and shopping is close by. The room itself was mostly nice except the bathroom. 1 ply toilet paper and dated tiles and tub with shower. Renovate those bathrooms and you'd get 5 stars!

The best thing about staying at the Ramada is the location. It is a beautiful setting on the northern end of Seneca Lake. They had a happy hour on Friday with live music which was fun. On the downside the pool was super tiny. Looked more like a large bath tub. To me it was pointless to even have a pool that small. My room was right on the first floor on the lake side. However, most of the lake view was obstructed by the tent for the outside patio which was quite disappointing.

All the staff were upbeat, friendly, courteous and exceptionaly helpful. Our room was very neat and clean with no issues at all. The meals in the restaurant were top notch. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this inn to anyone.

The Ramada Plaza has a professional, friendly staff who made our stay in our clean and finely apportioned room wonderful. Was lucky to get a room with a view of the lake, and downtown Geneva is an easy walk from the hotel.

Great place to stay, enjoyed the service and food. They do a good job to make sure you feel at home while you are away.

Staff were all incredibly nice and professional. Very good service. The room and hotel are very nice and very well maintained. Sunset at the hotel is stunning, great patio to enjoy the scenery.

Just had breakfast at the Ramada for Mothers Day and I am appalled at the food they served. First we were told we could order off the menu and when we got there at 10, we had no choice But to get the breakfast buffet. The scrambled eggs were not fresh kind of cardboardy, the pancakes were small and hard the fruit selection was sparse, the bacon and sausage tasted artificial and the potatoes were not tasty. The only good part of the meal were the made to order omelets. Even then you felt bad if you didn't put something in the tip jar. The worst part was it was a BUFFET and they added on a 20 percent gratuity, even though the poor bus boy was cleaning the tables. At &15.00 a plate, this was just plain robbery. Never again!

Location, location, location. The hotel is perfectly positioned on the north end of Seneca Lake. I attended a meeting held in the hotel's meeting spaces and all were clean and well appointed. The best part of the evening however was dinner in a tent that over looked the lake. The food was good and all the staff were very friendly.

The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Location was perfect and the view of the lake is spectacular. The only negative aspect is the small pool. You really can't swim and it's only 3.5 feet deep.

Good base camp for exploring the finger lake wineries. Reasonable rates. Clean rooms. Geneva has good dining options.

The staff was pleasant. Rooms were clean & roomy. Sunday brunch buffet was delicious & the omlete station was wonderful.

Staff were friendly when we arrived about 7:30 pm and were told that the restaurant was open. But by the time we got checked in and bags up to our room and got down to the restaurant at about 8:10 we were told that they closed at 8pm. The guy behind the bar did manage to get us some good food anyway. It's a standard hotel. Standard rooms and facilities. Great lakeside location, but foggy the whole time we were there!

I attended an event recently at the Ramada Geneva Lakefront and had a wonderful time overall. The reason that I cannot give a full five star review is due to one wait-staffperson who had a particularly unpleasant disposition and manner, when serving our party. This individual was condescending, and rude; they placed plates down in a haphazard and uncaring way; they were not patient. This person's attitude was uncalled for, and beneath the otherwise good reputation of the Ramada Geneva Lakefront. I believe strongly that there should be increased training in this area. Thank you.

Love Ramada especially 4 special events. Just attended the inspire a conference there and the Ramada went out of their way to make sure that everyone there was treated great. The food was amazing five stars and the staff was stellar great job thanks for making us feel so welcomed.

I was very happy with our stay at this Ramada. Our room was Great! Everything we needed and very clean. The view is what really made the stay. We could see a large portion of the lake and it was awesome. It's location makes it a great starting point for wine tours. The restaurant and bar that were attached were great as well. Very happy with my stay and will be back again.

Stayed for two nights for a wedding in the area. Room was clean, check in and check out was a breeze. We ate at the hotel restaurant on Sunday morning for breakfast. Portions were large for ordering an omelet but there was also the buffet available for $14. Would recommend!

I would definitely stay there again. The hotel is showing its age just a bit and the carpet could've been cleaner, but the location is amazing! I highly recommend booking the lakeside as the sunrise is amazing. Othwise just get up early, there are plenty of paces to sit and watch!

This old-style hotel stood out amongst the modern, often tacky, stuff along the esplanade. Loved lying in bed watching the falls change colour, throwing open the window and hearing the distant roar of the falls. Loved being along the corridor from room 801 where Marilyn Monroe stayed. Dinner in the restaurant so memorable for watching the falls under the evening sun. Thanks Crowned Plaza for retaining that sense of the past.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Staff here is amazing! The attached restaurant is flawless. Looking for someone to hold a professional event? This couldn't be more perfect.

We have stayed at this hotel for the past 7 years and love the location. We have never had any issues and I was surprised to read some of the negative reviews. The staff has always been pleasant and our room was always clean. We just wish there was an exhaust fan in the bathrooms to keep the bathroom from steaming up during your shower. We walk downtown to a wonderful old cafe for breakfast! Great location to the many Seneca lake wineries and places of interest. Also a great walking trail and pier to walk on over the water edge. We will return in June of 2018 for our annual trip to wine country!

Great location. Great hotel. What's better than all of this is that they have amazing staff! I was checked in by this wonderful lady called Howard. She was absolutely amazing. I was supposed to stay for one night. Everything seemed so worth it that I decided to stay another night Howard took care of changing my room to lake view, giving me a king bed and talking great care. Definitely spend a night here if you're driving by or headed to Geneva, NY!

Attended a wedding here recently. The food here was excellent. Great meal. The drinks were great as well. The restaurant attached is nice too. Great green space outside for wedding and morning walks. The only downside was my bed. Super stiff bed, which made for a difficult sleep.

The location is wonderful because it's fantastic being right by the water. Especially nice if you have children because they can walk along the boardwalk and there is an excellent playground at one end. The hotel itself is 2 stars. When we checked in we could see our sheets were dirty before we even got on the bed. They changed the sheets for us but it's still off putting. The hotel is worn and dirty in areas. When we arrived there were room service dishes by one room in the hallway. By the next morning, the dishes were still there. Restaurant is adequate. Had breakfast… Buffet $10, don't order the oatmeal. Side pancake $3 is great for a toddler.

I never actually been inside but did walk around the building looking for pokemon. There appears to be renovations taking place and its looking great so far. Great view of the lake, despite the water type pokemon not being as abundant as I would like.

They don't have breakfast and the lakefront is under construction very pricey the visitors center is right next to them. The room was clean though.

Very nice hotel with an amazing view of the lake adjacent to the hotel. While the size of the swimming pool is a bit small, it is a wonderful place to spend the night.

WOULD not recommend. Rooms were dirty. One of the double beds had dirty sheets and all pillows smelled very dirty, walls were very poorly patched, the toilet didn't flush well. After a long drive we stop to stay here. Kids wanted to take a swim. Pool hours were 9am-10pm. 9:15pm pool was closed, had to beg front desk to let my kids take a swim. With no lifeguard on duty we tried again in morning, (8:30) still not allowd to swim. Staff very unfriendly and not helpful to anything. Food was overprice and tasteless. View of lake was what the stars are for.

Was there for a short event. 4 of us walked in together. The person at the front desk never greeted us. We had to wait for info about our event to pop up on a screen in order to figure out where to go. The front desk worker should have assisted since they were just standing there. The rest of the event and venue were nice.

It was alright. It was a solid hotel, good beds, good rooms, the works. Bar was nice. The morning view of the lake was very pretty. The food they served was very good. I enjoyed it. Nothing special, just nice.

The wonderful staff took great care to ensure we had a wonderful stay while visiting our son who lives nearby. Great service, wonderful view, and competitive pricing make this a great option.

The room was very nice for a really great price. The lakefront view is great, and it's easy to walk into downtown to get food.

Dated rooms but nicely priced.

Great service. Clean rooms. The bed was conformable and the pillows were not flat. The staff was friendly and courteous. Ordered room service or last night and wished we ate in every night. The food was delicious and the price better than what we paid at other local restaurants and definitely more flavorful. Making plans to come back earlier than my next birthday get away. Thank you.

Enjoyed our stay. Wish they had a real pool, but the Hampton Inn up the street lets guests from the Ramada use their full size pool. The restaurant, The Pier House, was fantastic for dinner. The views are also wonderful. I would recommend this hotel.

Going To This Hotel For Almost 10 Years and The Only Problems I Noticed Were That The Arcade Games Didn't Work To Good. Last Time I Went It Had 2 Computers In Place Of That. It has always been great since then.

Pros: Good location and friendly wait staff. Nice view. Cons: The room: We stayed in on of the Jacuzzi suites on the top floor for our anniversary. The room layout was bizarre with a large room they placed two desks with chairs and no other seating other than the bed. The microwave was pulled out of the cabinet and set on a side table and the bed was uncomfortable. The linens consisted of a the sheets and a very thin bed spread. I like at least a couple of blankets and this was just uncomfortable. The Restaurant: We decided to have dinner there and it was disappointing. The wait staff was very nice but were disorganized and we had to ask a number of times to get service. The food was not great. I had a fish fry and the breading came out soggy and soft. My wife had the chicken with risotto. The risotto had so many sliced onions in it to be unedible. To their credit the wait staff were friendly and they comped some of our drinks. Breakfast on the other hand was great the food was good and the service was good as well.

So the best thing about this place is the view. Can't get any better than lakefront. Staff was friendly and had a corkscrew at the check in desk which came in handy. The negatives… I had breakfast here twice and the food is only passable… the cleaning service was vacuuming in the hallway before 9 am… extremely slow elevator… the drain in the shower did not work well and I was standing in water above my ankles after a 5 minute shower… I had to ask twice for them to fix it which I don't know if it happened because I didn't shower the morning before I left. The bed is not very comfortable and the pillow was as flat as a board. That being said if you don't want to stay at bed and breakfast this is a worthwhile stay due to the location.

It was a nice hotel, we bought the celebrate package. The food was great and the room was nice. The only thing that could use improvement was the front desk. When we checked in the women at the front desk named Velvetta was rude and cold.

They back charged me from a group stay, could not produce a statement, took over 5 phone calls to get a statement, eventually talking to the controller.

We just stayed 3 days and this Ramada leaves a lot to be desired. The laundy room that services the entire facility is directly opposite the lobby elevators and they leave those double doors wide open all the time for all to view. We had dinner there which was barely ok. The building is just simply tired, the staff was tired, and both my wife and I were very disappointed. We still love Ramada — but not this one. Stay somewhere else in Geneva, New York You can do a lot better than this hotel.
