One of the best Days Inns we have stayed at. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good beds and cold AC. Nice and quiet with great location.

Staff is friendly and accommodating. We had a problem with our first room. The A/C in it didn't cool very well so we were given another room. There is a large desk in the room which takes up a good part of the little space in the room. Television was very limited and searching for something to watch was really annoying. The TV scrolled at its own pace through the guide. The ottoman in our room was broken. The hotel is somewhat dated. It is apparent that repairs are done in haste. The hair dryer and towel rack in the bathroom came off the wall with ease. So easily that we just kept the hair dryer on the counter. Be very careful getting into the shower because the floor is very slick. There are refrigerators in every room. Some have a built in freezer, some don't. There are no microwaves in the rooms (this was a first for me) though they have one on the first floor by the ice and vending machine. The breakfast is very limited. There is coffee and juice, toast, a waffle iron, 2 kinds of cereal and yogurt. We had a no smoking room. No sure if there are smoking rooms as well or if the faint smell of cigarette smoke was from the cleaning staff after their break. Coffee maker in room brews one cup at a time and they give you 1 regular and 1 decaf to last the week. The only time we got more was when we went to the front desk and asked for it.

We were very disappointed by the pet policy. We had a reservation for the night of June 26 in Geneva NY. I called them ahead of time to inquire about bringing a dog and was told the fee which was reasonable. Upon check in we were informed that the dog could not be left in the room unattended while we went out to eat. We were additionally informed that if we did leave her in the room the management could enter the room and remove the dog and send her to a local shelter. We were not told this when I called. We were not given the option of having her in a crate when we went out, as many hotels do. This was extremely frustrating as we were already there and had called ahead for information. At that time we checked other hotels in the area but most had no vacancies. We did finally find one but we’re very disappointed in the whole experience. Days Inn are noted to be pet friendly but we found them to be just the opposite. If this is their policy I would suggest changing the policy to No Pets. When people are traveling with a pet they need to know the full details. Although I called I would never have asked that question since we have traveled with the dog before and not run into anything like this. I would rate this no stars but that does not appear to be an option.

Breakfast was lacking but the rooms are very well kept and reception is very helpful with any questions.

I really liked my stay here, it operates much better then most Days inns. The people are very nice. Rooms are well maintained and clean. I will come back. Plus it's centrally located to Auburn and Canandagiua.

The owner is extremely nosey, seemed to think asking my wife personal questions, while at the breakfast counter alone, was acceptable. Waffle maker broken, and poor selection of breakfast items. The male night employee is highly unprofessional and refused to explain discrepancies in policy he verbally listed, versus, printed policies taped to the front desk. Refused me communication. With management. At one other particular stay, I was charged one price. It was written down very "secret like", apparently didn't passed t me on apparently business card, while a black family was charged another for the same exact room. What made me stay to listen, and fake interest in the news papers was the unusual way the price was given to me, in front of this other family… I suspected unfair practices, and that's exactly what I overheard. I would not reccomend This place for benefits other than reasonably priced (apparently depending on on who you are), clean rooms.

The staff is friendly, but the hotel is very dated. Carpets are worn and frayed, bedspreads are dates patterns and drab colors. No elevator or automatic doors… The whole place good use some bright colors to liven it up.

The location of the inn was very convenient; it happened to he right across the street from the restaurant I wanted to eat at! I believe the accommodations were fair for the price we paid for the night. My review is modest because there is supposed to be no smoking in the rooms however when we checked in it smelled like stale cigarette smoke in the halls and when we left our room in the morning the hall smelled like fresh cigarette smoke. The bed was too firm for my tastes but would be fine for someone who likes a good, firm mattress. The breakfast in the morning lacked variety and healthful options; all the selections were high carb and sugar like cereal, bananas, and waffles.

Bed was hard, pillows were soft, staff was friendly. Entirely adequate accommodations for a decently priced one-night stay.

Heater didn't work properly. Room smelled like cigarettes and it was a none smoking room. It was not clean.

Very clean spacious rooms and friendly staff, nice breakfast. Hallways don't smell like cigarette smoke like most. Would stay here again.

Excellent room for the price. Limited breakfast, but very unexpected for a budget hotel. Room was very clean, big, and comfortable.

This particular Days Inn was amazingly nice, especially compared to the Days Inn in a nearby town we visited a couple of weeks ago. The Geneva Days Inn's room was updated, clean, quiet, the shower abd bathroom was remodeled. The breakfast was great also. They have waffles, hot oatmeal with toppings, fresh fruit. It was one of rhe better continental breakfasts we have seen. Highly recommend Geneva Days Inn.

Upon entering the front desk woman was very accommodating and polite. We had no problems with any of the wonderful staff. The bed was comfortable with excellent pillows. Water pressure and temperature of the shower were also very good. The towels were somewhere between 40 and 60 grit. I felt like I was trying to same myself dry. They were not soft and barely absorbent. While the toilet had food powerful enough to blast a Yeti poop through its pipes, the toilet paper seemed to be an attempt at making the thinnest sheet of paper possible without becoming transparent. An ok stay at an ok hotel.

It's okay. We were going to stay at another motel three businesses down from this but were glad we left it and came here instead. There's no elevator for the second floor. They have lots of security cameras, which was good.

Hotel is good as per price. Breakfast was also fine. Staff is nice.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms and great location near the college & downtown Geneva. I had the need to cut my stay short one night. My reservation was pre-booked for 3 nights and they didn't have to refund me the last night, but they did. Exceptional service and I will go back to stay there any time.

The location is nice, right next to several places to eat. The rooms are quite small, but they are comfortable.

It's not the best hotel. It's not the worst. It's just average. Nothing fancy or special but relatively clean. The Wi-Fi kinda sucks though.

We booked this hotel last minute on the holiday weekend. Upon entering the room there was a terrible smell in the room so we left the window open which helped. The comforter had burn marks in it, the chair in the room was red, but covered in black stains, we would not even touch it, the sheet on the one bed was torn with a huge hole in it, and the towels were like sand paper. As far as the continental breakfast it was toast, cereal, yogurt, and waffles which were all being cleaned up by 9:40am. These things the hotel has total control over. To top it off from 1am-2am our neighbors decided to have a family dispute which escalated from screaming to throwing each other against the walls. This went on until management showed up. We tried to locate another hotel anywhere but due to the holiday and several events there was nothing in the area. We didn't care if we lost our deposit this hotel was deplorable as far as I am concerned.

No frills hotel. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very minimal and it is a weird lobby setup (lobby closes from 11pm-6am). No irons or ironing board in the rooms. I had to borrow one from the front desk. Good place if you are looking for a cheap basic hotel.

Overall we had a great stay at this hotel. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was a great size, everything was clean and well taken care of. The only thing I can suggest, please get a couple of highchairs for the breakfast area. We had ano 8 moth old with us and nowhere to sit him for breakfast :)

The days inn was fine. We (my father and myself) were greeted politely, and got our reservation quickly. The room was clean, the beds were not the most comfortable beds I've ever been in, but they sufficed. We slept until 8ish, and then left.

Low key budget hotel in a great location close to the main drag in Geneva. The rooms are as you expect with this type of hotel albeit a bit dusty and dated looking. Each room has a mini fridge and a flat screen TV. Pretty decent for a short stay.

Clean, good sized, quiet room. Bed was way too firm. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff was very friendly.

The night clerk was nice, but the next morning everything was pretty poor. When we opened our door there was a mattress blocking us from getting out. The breakfast there was bare minimum. The orange juice wasn't even real orange juice. When we were leaving, there was nobody working in the lobby so we left our key cards behind the desk. I recommend camping in a tent rather than pay to stay here.

Extremely friendly and amazing customer service. We made a few mistakes with our booking and they handled our situation with a great deal of care to make good on our mistake. I would highly recommend them to anybody staying in Geneva.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for my best friend’s wedding this past holiday weekend. Our stay was wonderful from start to finish! – We were greeted by the front desk clerk, who was very friendly and checked us in with great efficiency, and was also very informative about the surrounding attractions. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again! We would recommend this to All-including our friends and family! Great location for wine tastings at Belhurst Castle or surrounding wineries.

Clean and comfortable room, good breakfast and very friendly staff.

Did a late check in at 10:30 PM and paid full price, it is a 3 mins drive inland from the Seneca lake. Had good Chinese restaurant and Dunkin donuts next door. Room was neat and clean with Comfy beds/fridge and good lighting. TV was an old CRT and seem to intrude into the room a little. Internet did not work till next morning, we had two small children and we were delayed in checking out by 20 mins, but we were reminded at 11:00 and again at 11:15 AM of the same while I had already updated that we are on our way out. It felt rude, given that I had checked in late, paid full price, and updated the same — the least that could have been done is give 20 mins to checkout after we had updated the same or ask us politely of our intentions at the second knock. Front desk was a 3/10 on courtesy scale especially during checking when I was struggling with the baby car seat and the baggage.

All in all, excellent choice for the price you pay; we were there just after Christmas. Not very busybecause of winter but folks there were very attentive, very helpful with questions about town and near by area. Rooms have been recently renovated, new carpets, beddings etc and it was showing clean. Breakfast area was standard continental stuff but was well stocked. Would I book there again?. For sure! The GM here has been the absolute worst hotel employee I have come across in my frequent travels. Two months after we have stayed there, I am still trying to get answers for my questions and have them stand behind their "100% satisfaction guarantee". They are not willing to do so, and the GM has been very rude. Even their corporate office will not help! He has stopped responding to emails, even with corporate involved, and will not talk to me on the phone saying that because I have already stayed there and paid, he cannot do anything and will not deal with me. When we got there, our door would not open nor would it close. He came up and did not see a problem and guaranteed us that the door would work. I was not having it, so he offered to move us reluctantly to another room. In the process, he was more concerned with whether or not he could sell someone else that room that was broken. Later in the night, when we got back, our keycard to the new room was not working. The front desk person was again very rude to me and asked what I did to make it stop working as if it was definitely my fault, not the hotel. Who cares whose fault it was? Just fix it! The next morning, the breakfast was disgusting. They were busy and there was nobody there to restock it. The orange juice tasted weird, the waffle maker didn't work and nothing was fresh. We ended up eating somewhere else.
