I stayed 2 nights, room rate was including breakfast but they charged me for extra breakfast.

Very good place to stay and nice location.

The atmosphere and design is nice, I love the huge space in the lobby. The cafe is great and the coffee is delicious.

They did an amazing job on my bff's Quinceañera! They jump through hoops for you, an all-around great crew and the hospitality was second to none!

I cannot say ENOUGH good things about the Crowne Plaza Suffern-Mahwah. From the moment I walked in the doors the first time and saw the waterfall garden and atrium I knew this was the place I wanted to get married. The pergola garden was a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, and the ballroom is UPDATED with beautiful chandeliers, a huge dance floor, and neutral but beautiful decor. We planned our entire wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party, Sunday breakfast, and hotel block) with Tracy Marvin who was easygoing and flexible with all of our requests. She was very timely in responding to my emails and phone calls and made it feel like I was the most important client she had every time I spoke to her. I was impressed by her ability to remember everything we discussed. From a last minute Friday night welcome dinner planned by my in-laws to the placement of our centerpieces Tracy's attention to detail was unmatched. Our maitre d' Diego made sure the day ran absolutely flawlessly and was extremely attentive not only to me and my new husband but also our families. My grandmother wanted to take him home with her. We were beyond impressed with the service, the food, the accommodations, and the absolute ease of everything. I could not have asked for a more perfect day.

The staff was EXTREMELY helpful, courteous, and friendly. We had an issue and someone was in our room to fix it in less than 5 minutes. The room was clean and nice. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
The only thing that wasn't perfect was the bathroom. The toilet was really low to the ground. You have to get into the shower to turn it on. So make sure you turn the nozzle away from you or you will get a cold shot of water in the face. There isn't any ventilation in the bathroom either, so the mirrors stayed foggy for a while after a shower. Thankfully no one had to do a That would not have been pleasant!

Their STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE, not an ounce of customer service. I was charged $20 for breakfast per day. They had no breakfast but only refunded $5 per day. Upon arrival the bathroom was dirty. I went downstairs but was told that they can only clean in 2 days because they're short-staffed. 2 days later, I ask them about having the bathroom cleaned, the woman at the desk claimed that she didn't have a note about it and accused me of lying. I've stayed at very many hotels. Nothing was ever as bad as this one.
do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. You deserve better than such awful customer service.

We had such a wonderful time with our family and friends enjoying the music and dancing. Happy Valentines everyone love is in the air.

Beautiful hotel. We brought our pet and they have a great green area for walking the dog. Nice patio with lounge. Love the rooms didnt have to use my air fresheners. Includes a marvelous breakfast buffet. Great way to spend 8 days at home visiting family. Well worth the money. Amenities are wonderful.

I stay here 2 — 3 times per month for work. The staff is always very accommodating when on the rare occasion I request an early check in so I can get work done in my room. The made to order omelets and breakfast buffet is an added bonus. I highly recommend the Crown Plaza Suffern-Mahwah for anyone traveling through the area or are in the area for business.

Stayed 2 nights for business. Room was clean, coffee was decent (k-cups) and the breakfast buffett was fine. Would recommend to other business travellers. I did not have a chance to see the gym or pool.

This Crowne Plaza is near lots of restaurants which is nice. We were there fror a wedding and were able to gather with other wedding guests in the lobby, restaurant and bar. The only downside is that there is no pool.

Close to NYC but without the NYC clutter. Modest rates for IHG club members, phenomenal staff, great rooms, amazing breakfast variety, and the appeal of the inside is breathtaking. Loved the bar centrally located in the common area with so much room for activities/events.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Great price for the region. Handicap room was well equiped. Will gladly stay here again. Wide variety of choices at the hotel restaurant.

My home away from home for almost 15 years. The staff are exceptional, the rooms are clean, the food is great and the pricing is reasonable. I also appreciate the location, which is just far enough off the highway to provide some peace and quite, while being close enough to Mahwah, NJ for me to commute there with ease. I actually work in the office building directly attached to the Sheraton Crossroads hotel; but I stay at the Crowne Plaza instead. Any questions?

From start to finish, we absolutely loved our stay. We actually were only there overnight and wished we could have stayed longer. Nick at the front desk was especially helpful providing outstanding customer service. The locale is quiet and peaceful with a lovely outdoor sitting terrace. The rooms are spacious, clean and exceedingly comfortable. The toiletries are from Temple Spa. The towels, sheets and bed were of very high quality, mattresses are excellent if you have back issues. The overall atmosphere here from the atrium with koi pond to the landscaped grounds make for an incredibly relaxing stay.

Very deceiving hotel from the outside. The inside is huge and absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are spacious with a lot of accommodations, separate TV inputs & unique relaxation packs. Rooms facing the atrium have two way glass which is very cool, but some would find it concerning. The rooms are listed as sound proof and we received little to no cell phone service within our room which was weird. Wi-Fi is spotty at best which was annoying, especially when attempting to work from the room. We had a really nice stay and would definitely stay here again while traveling.

Went with my organization and staff was not too cooperative. Like pulling when they were asked for something. Coffee shop was not prepared for more business and the food was less then acceptable. Two stars because it is pretty but will not go back.

Place is always clean, however they seem to play the we hope you dont notice food being charged to your room. I've stayed here several times and have found items charged to my room that I never had several times. Now I know to watch the bill since it's the only place to stay that's close. Just keep that in mind and check your bill.

This is a big hotel that has recently been renovated. The rooms are fairly modern and large. The beds are very plush which may or may not be good depending on your preference. There is a large atrium with a restaurant and small bar. There are many conference rooms as well. Not a bad place to stay and very close to the interstate.

Excellent service from ALL staff. Booked in for an 8 day business stay and enjoyed the hospitality. Flagstones restaurant served hot meals and their room service menu delivered hot food quickly. I definitely recommend this hotel for any stays in the area.

Lovely hotel. The employees are very pleasant and helpful. The koi pond in the lobby and the attractively decorated rooms made my stay pleasant and memorable. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel, again.

Thanks to all the Crowne Plaza’s staff for an enjoyable evening this past Thursday, April 26th. We held a Retirement Dinner for one of our esteemed Nursing Supervisors from Good Samaritan Hospital. Your staff was very accommodating and attentive to all our needs, including IT staff for assisting us with our “power point” presentation! The room was fantastic with the 2 tiers, one allowing for dinner and the other for our DJ and dancing.

The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed possibly ever but what made it impossible to get out of in the morning was the utter absence of natural light in the room. We weren't told our window would face a dark hallway. The bathroom had no fan and took forever to defog after showering. About the shower, you have to step into it to turn it on because of the glass panel. Enjoy the chilly blast to your naked body! If you wear makeup you should be used to not having appropriate mirrors and lighting in hotels by now, this isn't any different. These are all design flaws. The room itself was immaculate and the staff welcoming. The food and drinks at the bar are reasonable and the space in the lobby is ample for groups.

I've never stayed overnight here, but attended an event. Staff was over-the-top helpful and knowledgeable. Buffet dinner was good. Facility is beautiful.

I really enjoyed my stay. Lou, at the front desk, was amazing! Really nice guy. The hotel was really nice. The rooms were really nice. I would definitely stay again. The reasons I docked a star: I was caught by surprise on how they do their security deposit, regardless of paying with a major credit card; the parking lot is extremely dark; housekeeping is okay.

Stayed here 2/14 — 2/15. Went out to dinner at the hotels restaurant with my fiancé. My card was charged 3 separate charges totaling the 85$ bill (30$, 30$, 25$). On 3/13 I was charged ANOTHER extra 25$ to my card, without authorization! I called the hotel and they denied it. They steal from their customers. Beware!

Beautiful hotel very conveniently located right off the highway. The breakfast buffet was 1st rate. Worked out in the 24 hour gym at 5:30 a. M. So I didn't have to race to my gym after my flight home. Room was perfect in every way.

This place is so baller. Breathtaking lobby complete with koi pond and waterfall. Full bar. 3 course meal buffet of tastey food. Business services are top notch. Meeting rooms of all sizes. Only problem would be the price, but you are getting what you pay for. Smoke em if you got em.

Dog friendly. Nice yard for dogs to run. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Plus the have s beautiful coy pond (one fish per dog) and a nice bar.

A nice place to stay. The rooms are a bit weird when you have a room that faces the courtyard. You would think there would be a way to open the window in case of a fire. But overall a very classy place to stay.

The Crowne Plaza is located right off Exit 14B on the Thruway. The employees are all very helpful! The hotel is very clean. The rooms have a safe, a mini fridge and a coffee maker in them. The beds are comfortable if a bit on the hard side (for me). We had an issue with the heat in our room (didn't work). They sent a man up within 5 mins, he said they had to fix something, and within another five minutes had us settled in another room. The service was really excellent, and FAST! They have a restaurant and a bar, and a beautiful living wall water feature in the atrium. I could not hear any outside traffic in the hotel at all, which I was pleasantly surprised by. It seems they have many conference rooms available, and events happening, but I couldn't hear a thing, which made me quite happy. This place is clean, neat, easily accessible, very reasonably priced, has ample parking, and it's staffed with fantastic employees.

I went to this place for a professional meeting and found it very clean and cozy. They offer free coffee and tea for all people (guests or not) until noon.

Hotel was clean and updated with good service. My group had an issue with one of our rooms and the staff was quick to move us to another room. The breakfast buffet was decent but expensive at $14.99. We'll probably be staying here again.

After a horrible day of travel we got to the Crowne. The woman who checked us was AMAZING. Very pleasantly surprised by how the hotel looked. Very clean. Has a lounge and a separate restaurant. I definitely recommended staying here.

We have had nothing but a pleasant experience during our stay here. The lobby and rooms are beautifully maintained and the staff is beyond helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

A hook in the bathroom was missing. Shower handle was loose and very difficult to turn and get to a temperature that was not too hot or too cold. Very cheap fixtures. Brother in law staying there had the same problem. A battery in the safe was not working when we got there so we had to have someone come up and fix. A makeup mirror in the bathroom was up too high for me to use. I guess if you are over 5’5 it might be ok. That said, the room was clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Beautifully appointed entrance, comfortable spacious rooms with wonderful beds. Gracious staff and wonderful to work with. This is our second time there and we'll be back again!

Everything was fine. The handicapped shower had no lip on the bottom and so the water flowed all over the bathroom floor. Other than that, it was a great stay.

The front desk was so curtious, and loved the aspect of texting your customer's in advance. Your hotel was fabulous and my stay could not have been any nicer. I will definitely come back.

Went to a birthday party in a banquet room. Hotel and staff who worked the party were nice and attentive. Food was good. Did not stay overnight.

Nice area, and great location. It's right off of interstate 87/287 so getting to the city from here is easy. There are also a bunch of restaurants right down the street with some great food and drink options.

Modern hotel with large stylish lobby. Check out the Coy pond. Bar and restaurant looks decent. Fitness center modern and we'll equipped. Rooms are modern, bed and linens comfortable and luxurious. No pool. No included breakfast. But you can get it at the on-site restaurant, for extra charge.

I don't have the time or the space to tell you how absolutely wonderful this hotel is. From the moment you check in, you are greeted and welcomed with total competence, friendliness, and knowledgeable people. The staff is so very accommodating and hotel is clean, beautiful and professionally run. I highly recommend the Crown Plaza in Suffern for an overnight or an extended stay.

Nice hotel! Wasn't really expecting it to be as nice as it was. Rooms are clean and updated. Staff was friendly. They had a crib for my daughter which was very convenient. The bar was a lovely spot to hang out. Wish the game room and Gym we're a little bit bigger, but other than that no complaints!

We've stayed here twice, once in the executive suite once in a regular suite with 2 queens. Executive room was obviously a better room, more space and seating, etc. The only obvious downside to the regular room was no fridge or microwave. Huge bummer for a nice room. We ate breakfast at the restaurant inside the hotel both stays. Both times around 10am, once it was busy and nothing was stocked, once when it wasn't busy and it was laid out beautifully. Food was decent, a cook on staff making custom omelets (super yummy! ) Overall this place was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Beds were soft and pillows were soft and comfortable. Everything was clean. The only bad thing I have to say about the rooms is the tp holder is behind the toilet… under the sink… so odd and hard to use… seems like common sense but oh well. Would stay here again.

This is the forth time I am staying here. The location is great. They have spacious rooms and Ok service. The restaurant needs to work on its menu. It does not have enough options to choose and the prices seems a bit higher. Over all I had good experience staying here.

Went for Easter brunch I thought everything was great food was amazing Great variety. And the service was on point. Great place may try Mother's Day brunch. Awesome.

The. Crowne Plaza's New Year's Eve bash package really delivered, What an amazing night we had, Wonderful cocktail hour, open bar and a dinner of lobster and filet mignon to die for. Luxury room with late. Checkout and a delicious breakfast New Year's Day. Staff went over the top to ensure guests were happy and satisfied, We will surely be back!

Great place to stay. Front desk is friendly. The on-site restaurant was very good. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Ample parking and located in a quiet area close to the highway. The only negative is that the bathroom fan cannot be turned off. I am a light sleeper and it took me a while to fall asleep with it on even after closing the bathroom door. Regardless, I would stay there again for sure.

It was a last minute decision I would happily make again. I actually wish we were in town longer. The room was immaculate along with everywhere else. It was quiet & very relaxing. I'll be booking with them again on my next trip to the area.

Really nice comfy rooms with great staff and a good restraunt. The lobby has a really beautiful koi pond which is great to look at, and my room had a view of it through mirrored glad which was weird but cool. Only downside was it was also a bit noisy.

Attended wedding and stayed two nights. Our room was really small but with all amenities. Parking lot had low lighting which is scary for off the highway exit property.

I am in the process of planning my wedding in which all aspects will take place at the Crowne Plaza in Suffern. Liz Defrancesco has been a true asset to the planning process and continues to make us feel completely at home and special with every visit. The chef is absolutely incredible, an artist of his craft. The food is so delicious that my family and I have been dreaming of it and can't wait to have it again at the wedding.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Amazing for the price paid. Lobby is beautiful. Restruants amazing, only thing missing is a pool.

What a beautiful hotel! The room was perfect and comfortable. The staff was very nice. And the lounge was wonderful and had fantastic food.

Went here for my company's Holiday party. First hour was open bar and appetizers in a huge atrium space. Typical fare, the pasta was pretty good. The party transitioned to a banquet hall complete with a bar and DJ. The table service was great, I don't think my glass of water ever got below half full. My steak was cooked to order and the food was very good. Overall, the Crowne Plaza was a great venue for the party.

Directly off the highway. Nice location. Room is spacious and recently renovated. Onsite restaurant had excellent food including the warm pretzels!
