Very comfortable motel on hillside overlooking St Lawrence River. Clean rooms, remodeled bathrooms, good card key locks. Excellent buffet breakfast. Both water and land access possible. Large variation in room from simple motel to full kitchen. Microwave and fridge in all rooms. Well kept grounds. Tennis and basketball on property.

Clean and large rooms. Was very welcoming when we were coming in late. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Quiet area and easy to find. Water pressure is great and right off the main highway (but set back so traffic noise is minimal). Comfy beds and ample parking.

Make sure to cancel ahead of plans change. They charge full room rate if you don’t cancel 24 hours before. The room was ok, missing threshold at bathroom, ac was non functional. Missing tiles in bath and the water temp fluctuated so badly almost got burned when the hot surged. More a $60-70 a night room then 120.

Room was small this time, and since it was graduation weekend for nearby colleges they just happened to charge way more than usual. The breakfast was pretty normal for them. They did add waffles though with toppings.

One of the best hotel experiences in the business.

I would consider the manor house a excellent place for a four star weekend me and my wife and son have stayed here twice it's nice.

Room was clean, grounds well kept. Complimentary breakfast is nice, highly recommend the potatoes.

The rooms are very spacious and well kept! Nothing like waking up to nature in the morning. That's a plus for me. Also the St. Lawrence river is walking distance.

Old, Hugh rooms, need a good cleaning all around like there was poop on there dock… what was with that. Staff was nice.

The rooms are incredibly well kept, tidy, and spacious. The St. Lawrence river is only a few steps away and there are countless of activities in the surrounding area. The Stonefence Resort truly is a home away from home!

Picked the place as we needed something close for a graduation party for a friend. We live out of town so looked at the reviews and thought "this is perfect". The place is anything but! Room was big but was very stuffy and took forever for the wall unit air to work. Spider webs and I am guessing termite dirt hills on the bathroom floor. Which maid left when she cleaned the room while we were here. Outside seating was also covered in spider webs and dirty. Very dusty like no one stayed in the room for a bit. Free breakfast! The room has no air conditioning and the patio outside not covered. So choice was to be hot and sticky or be in the sun. Food was ok but nothing special at all. Plus bar area had a mound of chairs piled high! Decided to go for a swim, surprise pool is closed! It's the end of June, really closed? Ok I will go to the fitness room to work out a little since I can't swim. Nope! That was full of old TV's, couches and end tables thrown into s big heap! The screened in gazabio was also having stuff done inside. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Will continue to look at other hotels for our fall family trip back to this area.

The rooms we were supposed to have weren't available due to a computer error, but what they gave us was sufficient and everything was clean, professional, and enjoyable. Beautiful setting! Wi-Fi not so hot.

Needed a room for the night with a some other people. We were able to grab a townhouse which had extremely comfortable beds, Wi-Fi, continental breakfast, and of course free Wi-Fi.

Clean and great service! Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I have stayed at Stonefence half a dozen times and it is always a wonderful experience.

The staff are incredibly nice. Room is comfortable and clean. I got in rather late (almost midnight), and had a malfunction with the room key. The owner came over right away and sorted it out. He called back a few minutes after I left to make sure the heat was working, and I was settled in. They offered to upgrade my room in the morning if I wanted to, but I was already unpacked, so I stayed.

Stayed in 201 with my track team, annoyingly 201 isn't connected to the rest of the 200's building making passing between rooms hard due to trudging through the snow.

My room was AWESOME! I had the jacuzzi suite. The room was huge. That jacuzzi tub was OUTSANDING! It was also HUGE! My room was very large, very private, very comfortable! Kitchenette was perfect. Bathroom was clean and nice. The king size bed was also very nice and comfortable, warm and cozy. The breakfast was simple but very good. The lady at the desk was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The room rate was very fair! I will definitely be going back!
