The hotel itself was fine. The room was spacious and clean. The reason I would not recommend this hotel is because they charge $32 per night for parking. This is excessive since if you have a car to park you are a captive audience.

I recommend everyone who loves top tier quality, great service, an wonderful employees; then this is the place for you my friend. I love the Laguardia Marriott. Amy’s Go two in Queens NY Best Hotel in the World 🌎

I wasn’t staying there but the hotel bar had great food. They close at 12:00am.

We're using this hotel to host our symposium on Sunday July 10. The setting is right. The staff is courteous. The ambiance is eclectic. Looking forward to this PHENOMENAL Event. Phenomenon2022. Com.

Sanitized and clean atmosphere. Great customer service and lots of parking. My daughter just had her Holiday Beautiful Pageant there this past weekend. I was very impressed with the rich luxurious Conference Rooms. I took absolutely beautiful pictures of her at this Marriott Location.

My stay was great. I used the gym. Went for walk. Had no problem setting up a wake-up call. My co workers used the bar, they had no complaints. We had a short stay and had to leave very early. So, being that close to the airport was a plus!

It’s completely unacceptable when you cannot choose the temperature of your own room. In order to have cool air during the winter months, you have to either ask for a fan or open a window. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who prefers to be in a comfortable temp while sleeping.

I just wrote a post on the page too, but here’s my official review. I’m a flight attendant and today was one of those exhausting, rough days with too many rude people. I barely ate and decided last minute to visit the restaurant and met the chef, Julio. He went out of his way to meet my dietary needs and greeted me with SO much kindness and talked to me for a little while like I was a human, not just a customer. He even hugged me and wished me a happy new year and said every time I stay there, I’ll have a friend. He turned my entire attitude around today with his huge heart and giving nature. I am so appreciative of him and currently in my room crying happy tears (ridiculous I know). He’s honestly the BEST. Thank you, Julio!

I was here for a retirement party. The atmosphere was lively, the temperature in the room was ideal. Our wait service staff was friendly and very efficient. The food was tasty and not salty. (so many places cook with so much salt, not here). I had a very enjoyable time.

New renovations are amazing. Great place for meetings and easy in and out of NYC. Room renovations left out the drawers but most folks aren't staying two weeks like myself. Yes the airport is doing construction but the hotel is done and it's great. Free shuttle to and from airport.

I have stayed at lots of airport hotels, so I had low expectations. This hotel thoroughly surprised me. It is undergoing a exterior renovation that it definitely needs, but ther interior is all well done. The entry is as inviting as the front desk staff is. The rooms are well appointed, the bed is comfy, the linens are nice, TV is huge, bathroom is fine, just a great overall feel. The food in the restaurant was actually great! We would definitely stay again!

They were super nice the moment we arrived. Rooms were clean, staff was overly friendly, especially room service and food was great. The shuttle to the airport was quick and easy. We had a HORRIBLE experience at the LaGuardia plaza next door to the point we left and checked in to this hotel. This is where we will continue to stay as we visit Queens often. 0

Comfortable, clean, great service, and newly renovated rooms at great prices. Super close to LGA with great shuttle service. The front desk staff is always super busy, but super pleasant around the clock. The bar and lobby are really great too. Breakfast bar is a little pricey, but very convenient. This will be my go to hotel for when I stay in the area!

We stayed overnight under vouchers from Delta. Rooms were recently updated and both nicely appointed and comfortable. Though having a cabinet with safe and coffee maker in the closet, making it hard to hang clothes, was a little odd. Wifi was good. Restaurant was closed for renovation. Staff was friendly. Would return.

I was on vacation with my family. The hotel even though it was under renovation was great. Our room was renovated and great. The staff was friendly and gave my kids great recommendations on what to do in the city. The only thing I would say that was not ideal was that the AC in the room was a very low cool only when we set the thermostat at a very low temperature. I would stay here again!

Here is my honest review. We stayed here for 4 nights. The Goods: -Brand new renovated rooms. -Great Friendly Staff -Good House keeping The Bads: -Under Renovation and was advised. -The construction noise stared at 7am; extremely horrible! -On the first night the AC vent was making loud popping noise was not able to sleep. They fixed this next day. -3rd night AC went down and there was a service call at 1am; lost sleep! -The lobby area was too dated and waiting for renovation. -No breakfast -Too much over priced for a hotel under renovation and facilities; especially when we pay CAD. Will go back for sure once the renovation is done and the price is decent.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They picked me up at the airport. The hotel was in the middle of a renovation and I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. Very clean. My only complaint would be the construction right next door to my room that literally shook the walls at 7am. Luckily I was already awake.

Our flight was cancelled last minute around midnight. We were greeted with excellent customer service, the ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. There were 3 guest and the last available room was 1 king bed, without us asking, one of the ladies brought up a roll away bed. We didnt even think to ask for roll away bed! I appreciate the amazing customer service and hospitality!

For a city as big as new York it's rather small. Overcrowded always. Easy access easy to depart. Waiting areas are so small. Overall I go in and out as quick as possible! No troubles there.

My office held an all day meeting in one of the conference rooms. The space was comfortable and attractive, though we did have a little difficulty with the climate control. The food and beverages provided were all delicious. There is ample, paid parking with direct access to the hotel. For our event, the staff provided paid parking vouchers for attendees that drive.

We missed our flight and Delta put us up here for the night. April at the front desk went above, and way beyond the call of duty as did Mike from the front desk. You made a bad deal feel like a good one. They should be on our Christmas list as they made us feel like family!

The deal was not overly polite yet everything was correct and we solved the problems that arose.

Lovely hotel! The nearby roads can generate a bit of noise, especially if a lot of emergency vehicles go by in one night. But the hotel itself is is great — very nice rooms and staff. If you're worried about noise, maybe ask for a room that doesn't face a road.

Hands down my worst experience in a Marriott ever. Stay clear of this Marriott. Front desk staff is a group of the most rude women I️ have ever met. Led by their disgrace of manager Roxanne Blake. She covered her for her night auditor Ana after Ana took it upon herself to call our room at 1am to argue the rate we were locked in at. After questioning why she called to argue and expressing how upset I️ was she proceeded to just hang up. Went downstairs was ignored. Next morning her front desk manager Roxanne Blake, someone Marriott should be embarrassed to say she’s in charge of anyone, proceeded to tell us that we are no longer welcome. We asked why she had no answer. I️ asked is it customary for her employees to call guests at 1am to argue rates and she replied by saying “something must have happened”. When I️ asked what they something was she said “I️ don’t have to answer you and walked away”. Instead of wasting our timing dealing with the morons at the LaGuardia Marriott we just booked another Marriott. We stay at Marriotts all the time this has never happened before. The overall nature and behavior of the front desk staff seems to be the norm and is accepted by management. I️ hope corporate can’t do something and turn it around. No one should stay at this hotel. Plenty of other options.

The folks at check in were nice and gave a great recommendation for dinner at the Marriott next door. My room was a bit outdated but the decor was pleasant. I would recommend staying away from room 1018 though, the air conditioner smells like somebody urinated in it. Fortunately I was only there for 1 night and it wasn't too hot, I just left it off. Also, there is no bottled water in the room. If you're an honors member make sure you ask for it at the desk, I had to go back down.

This has been the worst experience in my life. The front desk is incompetent and very rude. Tyese customer service skills were zero to none. We had key card issues (the battery in the door was broken and it was 2am right after we checked in), there was no hot water, and one set of towels. Not to mention I called customer service the next morning and all they could do is open a case. I've never had to deal with such disrespect and no help from customer care. I will not come back to this hotel EVER again! The whole Marriott customer care service has not been helpful!

Check in was a breeze. Rooms are nice size. Beds are comfortable. Traffic (air and land) wasn't too loud. Food is a little on the expensive side. Staff is really friendly. Location to airport is good. Location to anything else is a bit far off. Overall, I'd stay again.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly. The room was nice and clean. Great value for the price paid. My greatest moment came from my interaction with Gentry the restaurant manager who was bartending. He was extremely great, professional, patient and went above and beyond to get us what we needed though he wasn't the bartender. People like him is the reason why Marriott feels like home.

Hotel is nice and conveniently located near LaGuardia Airport. I have one complaint and that is it took 40 minutes to get a shuttle from the airport, but it was a Friday night. In any case, the staff was very friendly and the room was nice.

The hotel step is good, the staff is lousy, the breakfast is bad because there are very few options.

Decent, but below average Marriott right next to the LaGuardia terminals. Clean hotel, but in need of an update across the board. Good restaurant and bar, gym is fair, staff is great and ample meeting space. Shuttle runs every few minutes, but allow extra time right now with all the airport construction.

A very busy hotel. We were there for Classic East concerts and all the roadies were staying there so the place was a zoo. Being within walking distance to LA Guardia airport must have something to do with it. Even with the crowd the service was better than we expected!

The hotel was awesome, we got put up by the airline we flew with so that helped. Clean place, friendly staff. Located just around the corner from the airport. Not very close to God or shopping tho. But they do offer food services at the hotel. Overall great time.

It was my first experience in a Marriott hotel. I've found the lobby very spacious and welcoming. The staff at the reception was very nice and accessible, particularly Deana. However, I didn't like the room because of its narrowness. In addition, it was not looking so clean: the bed sheets were not looking so fresh, there was some hair on the floor and water in the bathtub was not flowing well because of something (maybe hair) stuck in the evacuation hole. Even the breakfast was not so top!

Room looked nice. Ac wouldn't really get cold. Pillows weren't supportive. Good water pressure is food. Bar/restaurant is really good. Bathroom is kinda sketchy. I could hear a guy in the next room brushing his teeth and using scissors.

Rooms are great, but just because it's 3, 5 star doesn't mean guests don't need a fridge and a microwave! And what's with the Norwegian water bottle for $4 in the room? You can't afford to give guests a water bottle for free? Absolutely love the 24hour airport shuttle service!

Place was well-maintained and luxurious inside. Quality cookies offered at desk. TV and desk connections in room are very convenient. Good assortment of toiletries offered. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was at the Marriott for a social event. A friend celebrated his birthday there. The attention was very good and the place nice and wide-perfect for the party. If I would recommend this hotel.

Come prepared to pay for everything from 34.00 for parking daily, for up to the Wi-Fi here-stay out almost at the 300 day is amazing, the rooms clean, these in front of the airport so that you hear each 1 of the planes q depart and arrive, the restaurant within the hotel very good. The criticism is that there are not many amenities around there is to pay, and that to me is like wanting to exploit the client for everything. At the front desk I was confronted with a situation not very pleasant with the up to day any one do it I went to ask why so expensive the parking, I said that until she paid so that she leaves the pay Parking is not very good response. Otherwise they should improve the offerings since, as I said before, come prepared to pay fees and costs exaggerated…

The tvs are not HDMI compatible there are no refridgerators in the room and the rooms overall felt crowded in a way. Still the hotel does serve its purpose as far as giving one a place to lay their head.

Lovely spacious rooms with firm beds. Slept very well. The dinner buffet was delicious. Three main course options fish, chicken, and vegetarian all looked appetizing. Soup, salads, and deserts all superior. After dinner coffee was Starbucks. Every staff was so courteous and pleasant. Over all my favourite hotel out of my trip. Last was definitely not least here.

Experience is limited to the meeting rooms. Very spacious and well lit. Can be a little humid. Food service is excellent.

The customer service was great. They recommended a restaurant in the hotel where I could grab dinner. Also the recepniotst had a funny sense of humor. My room was well cleaned and I honestly nothing bad to say about my stay.

Very nice hotel, great staff, clean and well appointed, seemed to be recently redone with new carpets and fixtures. We especially enjoyed dinner at the hotel bar and grill. Our server, Marvin was exceptional. It was very conveniently located near the airport, which was great, since our flight had been cancelled and we were flying there next morning. All in all a great experience!

I held a comic con there last year and the administration was horrible, MA is the home office and quotes you one price and then Rohit the local manager adds fess and costs that MA office specifically says won't be charged. I gave them another shot because MA GUARANTEED there would be none of that this time. Ooops. They charge 23% for service and waitstaff when I had no servers, food or staff. They charge $900 to set up tables, and they collect a hotel and occupancy fee of over $200 when there are no rooms rented. I checked the regs for NY on that tax and under the regs they can't keep it. However, rather than not collect it, they collect it and give you a tax rebate form you have to file with the state. So essentially, anyone not aware of that, gets screwed! And they keep that money gleefully. In due notice, the entire staff on the day in question, and after 5:30 the night before, are fabulous. But for $5800 for 2 small rooms, tables and chairs and ballroom space and no service… I'll pass!

Lizette, Yolanda, Kathy, Diane, Suresh, Mike, Shuttle bus driver Jose, exceeded all expectations. When I stay at a hotel, I not only expect a clean and quiet room. I also expect some sort of good customer service. That is not what I received here. At this location we were treated like true guests, family, royalty even. I will definitely go back to this location and rave to all that will listen how amazing it was and how awesome everyone was there. Please keep up the good work. I've stayed at my fair share of Marriott and Starwood hotels and this by far was the BEST hands down.!

Rooms are big. They were nice enough to let us check in at 9 in the morning. Carpets r old and causes a smell which isn't too strong. Otherwise the hotel is very clean.

Really just an overall bad experience with the hotel. The front desk manager, who worked on 8/18/2015 at 10PM ET was horrible. Some of the worst service I've received at a Marriott. Not expecting to be catered to, but just had to post that the gentlemen and experience was so poor I won't ever stay there.

Good evening, I have been very disappointed with my latest 2 week stay at this location. I feel that Marriott has been miss-representing the services available at this location. Each room is equipped with a junction box connected to the TV in the room. There are connections to hook up HDMI, composite, monitor, USB, phone, and LAN. Unfortunately none of them work in the entire hotel. Someone signed off on the Acceptance Certificate for this work and they should be fired for gross negligence. I'm sure you can find out how much this cost and I would bet money that the majority of these junction boxes are non-functional across your entire chain. I called ahead on Sunday night to request a TV that has a functional HDMI port and was assured I would have a working TV. Monday evening I arrive to find my request not honored. I again requested a TV with a functional HDMI port and was told one would be moved into my room by Tuesday evening. Again I was to be disappointed. I called again Tuesday and was assured that upon arriving "home" from work on Wednesday evening, I would have a functional TV. One guess as to what happened. In conclusion, I will not be staying at this hotel if at all possible in the future.

Planning an event with them. Their first QUOTED price had charges and fees that do not apply (waiters and waitresses and food and beverage charges). When I call them on it they try to explain that away in another way (well you see, it's the service charge for the blah blah blah). So then they try to rip me off with the taxes. 8.875% (tax in NY) and have it as 14% in another spot. Oh sorry that was just an error. Sure it was. Now we rent ballroom and 2 panel rooms and they send the bill, extra 500 for sales tax. Sales frigging tax? You're not selling anything. Their final bill with no food no servers no anything but space and tables was DOUBLE their original quote. Crooks.

Went to an event Saturday, food was mediocre; wait staff rude and ran us out before our time was over. I tried to find positive but even some other people said they got sick from the food. If I could, I give them half a star.

The manager at the front desk was very rude and unhelpful. We went for a funeral even we explain to him about the situation the way the reservation was made, he didn't care about us, I never see a front desk manager like that before. We paid $250 for a night no refrigerator no microwave, this is absolutly over price. Next day we have to go else where to got in other hotel for the rest of the time. I will never go to that hotel anymore, I will never recommended this hotel to any one, bad customer service specially the manager.

For the fees that they charge, this site is well below average. No type of complimentary breakfast, broken coffee maker in room, no bathroom fan in the room, broken ice machine. Avoid staying here at all costs.

It is fun to be here. This is often my starting place for smaller trips in the U. S. And all trips to Canada. I will be here in August. I look forward to it. It will be great to be here again.

Great place to stay by La Guardia Airport. The rooms are large. The hotel is super clean. There is high speed internet. Free continental breakfast. Good place to hold meetings. There are three floors of meeting rooms. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Complimentary parking.
