Nice place to stay, very clean, bristo is very good!

Worst “sleep” we have had at a hotel. Air conditioning kicks on and off LOUDLY all night long; bed itself was not comfortable at all and my husband woke up covered in bites. Won’t return.

Beautiful room… friendly staff… great food at the Blu Stone Bistro! Highly recommended!

The hotel exterior is inviting. The lobby — with the 2 giant chairs is inviting. The organized and personable clerks at the front desk were inviting. The room cleanliness and basic decor was inviting, as were the flat screen TV and choice of channels. The bed mattress sucked. My sleep was restless and I woke feeling achy and unhappy. It became clear why the bathroom had a powerful pulsating shower massage. This hotel seriously needs a major bedding upgrade. Therapedic anyone?

This hotel is ok for family vacation travel, but the room furnishings are dated, the a/c is antiquated and ear splitting, and the height of the desk is oddly too high to sit at and work. I had to sit on a bedside table with a pillow on top, to comfortably reach my computer keyboard. They spent a fortune renovating the common areas but forgot the rooms. Also for this caliber of property, a free breakfast would have been nice, but at the price I paid via express deal was cheap enough to make up for the lack of amenities. At the rack rate, I would avoid. This could be an A property if they replace the old room furnishings and air conditioners, and include breakfast.

The hotel is at a very busy intersection but right near Albany International Airport. Check-in was easy and we had a nice room on the 4th floor. The room was immaculate with hardwood floors and a small area rug. We had a king room which was comfy. However there was no refrigerator in the room. There is a fitness center but no pool. There was an attached restaurant that was quite pricy and a small area in the lobby that sold light breakfast type foods. We had a very pleasant stay and was a pleasant fruity odor in the room and hallways. A stark contrast to the sometimes musty odors one encounters in hotels.

I was just here again, stay at Indigo several times a year for business. Rooms are clean, staff are super friendly and attentive. Pillows are horrible in every room I’ve stayed in. The air conditioner in the room Thursday night sounded like a jet engine every time it clicked on, so no sleep for me all night.

Hotel staff were very accommodating! Room was clean and updated. A/C didn't work extremely well but kept the room comfortable enough. Lack of a swimming pool lost one star. Hotel staff couldn't seem to answer the phone after 11PM. Altogether, it was a great experience. No noise from the flights into Albany and we were on the fifth floor. No fridge or microwave, but we were only here one night. Sauna was amazing! Wish I had one in my house. Will stay again but with one that has a swimming pool.

We're loved this hotel. Price was great. The style of the lobby and room was striking. The food at the bistro was good if a little pricey. Our order got scrambled but was soon corrected.

Because I had a discounted rate I was told that breakfast was not complimentary, I had to pay for it. I've stayed at more prestigious hotels for less and was offered complimentary dinner and breakfast. The beds were not comfortable.

I only stayed one night, so I'm afraid I can't comment on the hotel's full suite of offerings. My room was clean and everything was in relatively good condition (new or close to new), which was a pleasant surprise considering that this is not a new property. The fitness center is really well appointed and all of the equipment (of which there is a fair amount) was in working order. I was pleased on the all and would happily stay again.

Nice hotel, convenient location. My husband and I had a red eye flight to Albany and he had to work in Albany in the morning, so we stayed here. The rooms are fairly large and fairly clean. The bed was creaky but okay. The bathroom was clean, though the shower was a funny design. Parking was free, Wi-Fi was free, but no free breakfast. Their restaurant offers a decent affordable breakfast, and the staff is friendly. Our room was facing the highway, so it was a bit loud, but not horrible. Next time we would probably find a hotel in Albany that provided a free breakfast, always a nice touch.

I enjoyed my stay for the most part. Hotel Indigo is alright. It's a nicer, regular, everyday hotel.

I was only in town overnight for business. This was my first time staying at Indigo ND it won't be the last! Easy access right of 87. The young lady at the front to desk met me with a smile and was very personable, she even asked if I had a floor preference! The room was fantastic! It had hardwood floors, a king size bed, glass door shower… The only thing I'd have liked that it lacked was a refrigerator. The room was very quiet. There's a restaurant /bar attached, but it is close to tons of dining options nearby! Will not hesitate to book again!

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is welcoming. The decor is modern. The only downfall is the noise from the freeway and airplane traffic as it is very close to the airport.

OK prices, OK rooms, OK pickup from Albany airport, OK service. Ok. No longer complimentary morning snacks, but "a" coffee cartridge in the in-room coffee machine. Ironing board, Beekman Boys amenities in the bathrooms, comfortable enough & clean crisp sheets. Newspapers down stairs. Dining room & room service. Close to Albany airport. Arrangements for park & fly. Ok.

It is close to the airport, near a good restaurant (Koto), and convenient drive (5-10 minutes) from Latham. I was on the 4th floor, room 423, the elevator was excruciatingly slow, but service was on point. The cleaning schedule was odd, but a call to the front desk got everything sorted. I would recommend this to anyone traveling and wanted to be close by the airport at an affordable rate.

Great experience, staff was pleasant and accommodating. Room was beautiful and clean. The attached bistro was convenient and had good food.

Room looks great. Fan on heater is so noisy have to turn off too habe a phone conversation. Freezing cold air along floor from under heater. Not well insulated. Ordered Irish Nachos via room service. Arrived cold, no salt or pepper. No hot tub our pool. Will stay at The Desmond from now on.

Average hotel, shady billing practices. Maybe for people on expense accounts? Entire stay is billed when you check in, but *also* a $50/night fee. Before entering my room the total cost + $350 was charged. On checkout they said the fees would be returned in 3-5 business days. It's been 3 so far and nothing.

2nd stay not so nice as first. HVAC is very loud which appears to be a common complaint. I had to fix our toilet to get it to work. It is pretty and the staff is very nice.

It was nice and as expected. Very clean and friendly staff.

Decent hotel. 2 things showers are dumb. Glass window in front of adjustments so you have to get in to turn the water on. Also lamps have outlets built in but the base of the lamp is designed where a phone charger doesn't fit. Two annoying room design flaws. Breakfast is also not free. Decent breakfast for 10-12 dollars. Other than that really pretty rooms, nice TV's and comfy beds.

08/28/17. Called 10 hotels in the area by searching on my Waze app. Everyone wanted $150-189.00 a room. Finally I came across Indigo. Guy behind the desk was super friendly. I'm happy we found this place. $99.00 a night with a super clean and beautiful room. Thank you so much.

Horrible Wi-Fi! Took 30 min to send an email because signal kept dropping and speed was slow! Beds comfy though.

Service and facilities are great and clean. Some small issues witht the room. Sticky door to the bathroom.

Checking in was quick and easy. Room is nice. AC can be a bit noisy turning on and off. Nice restaurant in the same building. Right by airport. Relatively close to alot.

Stayed at many hotels, this is one of the best. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Ice water in lobby, large sauna and the showers in the rooms have massaging heads. Large rooms, large walk in showers, lots of pillows, kerig coffee machines in rooms, nice modern clean feel throughout. No complaints. Highly recommend!

Our first stay with hotel indigo and we are happy. Check-in was quick and pleasant. Since we have an IHG membership, we were given a voucher for a complimentary alcoholic beverage which we used to get a glass reach of red wine. The room is sufficiently sized. The furnishings are clean and in good condition. Shower size is large with excellent water pressure for even the top floor. Room decorations are eclectic and refreshing if not just a little too sparse. Overall we enjoyed our first of a two night stay and expect our second night to be just as good.

Great room with nice staff, TV is a little outdated but manageable. The in hotel restaurant at the hotel indigo Albany is fantastic.

My group stayed at this hotel. Great hotel and we have been meeting here for the past 5 years. The hotel is under renovations that appear to almost be complete. We had a meeting at the restaurant next door, Blu Stone Bistro. Rooms are clean, fresh looking, and larger then most hotel rooms I have stayed in. Staff are welcoming and accommodating. The rooms do not have refrigerators in them but are available if you call the front desk.

This hotel is not what it seems to a customer. I worked here for only four hours as a houseman. The staff cuts corners when cleaning, does not wear gloves, allows the sheets to hit the floor at the end of the laundry chute, hides their corner cuts from managers, and the management only hires employees who will bend to their will. I simply mentioned my previous experience with Mazzone Hospitality to my house manager, a jet black bob cut shorter woman in her 30s, the owners daughter (I presume). She stated I was being confrontational when I told her my experience, and had her underscore manager fire me cowardly, not evening offering a chance to "apologize" (for being disgusted with the ways they run their business). I returned later with my passport to finish my payment paper work, only to have a broken copy machine, rendering my ability to finish that day impossible. This hotel is dingy in its core, disgusting, and I would not stay there even before getting fired. Go to the Hilton or any other known chains in the area, stay away.

The staff is courteous, the room appears to be clean. The attached restaurant's food was good and the beer was cold. No complaints.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. Only down sides are no minifrig in room and Internet can be slow in the afternoon.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I had never stayed in a Hotel Indigo before and mainly we chose this hotel due to its close location to the Albany Airport, it is literally right around the corner. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful with nice comfortable beds and great bedding. I LOVED that the floors in the room were laminate wood, not carpeted, as a parent of a son with asthma this was a huge plus for me. The room we were in had a King Sized bed, a fold out sofa in a little living area, a table and a kitchenette area with a microwave and fridge. If you plan to fly in and out of the Albany Airport the shuttle service is awesome! You go to the front desk when you are ready to depart for the airport and they call the Park and Fly shuttle for you, they picked us up within 5 minutes of calling and we were inside the airpot terminal no more than 5 minutes later. Great value, great location, great rooms and great service. I can guarantee we will stay here again.

The hotel tries to entice you with a less traditional look to the lobby and the rooms. It has more "pop". But the floors are cheap laminate. The walls thin and if you don't get a room away from the front, you get a lot of traffic noise from Wolf Road and Rte 87. Also, this is an "a la carte" room in the sense that what you expect at most decent places, like a refrigerator or complimentary breakfast. All of that is extra. I'm not sure if that is what being "boutique" hotel is but it seems cheap to me. I paid for eggs and sausage there at the "Golden Bean"; their morning spot in the hotel. Eggs were so so, toast mushy, potatoes cheap and dry, and the sausage patty tasted like it had been dropped in a puddle and then fried in extra fat to hide it. This place seems to get recommendations nonetheless just based on it's dinnertime Bistro. I had filet mignon there with blue cheese scalloped potatoes and shredded squash. It was pretty good I'll admit, though the squash was heavy on the butter. There are loads of eating establishments just down Wolf Road, and if you go exploring there's more on top of that. And who wants to stay in the hotel all the time? All in all, that one hotel restaurant isn't enough to give a great review to the hotel overall. I'll opt for one of the larger chain hotels next itme.

I've stayed at this hotel before and have had no problem. This time they charged me an extra 56 dollars that they did not refund after saying that they would. At checkout you said the card will be recharged for that amount and it has yet to appear back in my account. I called to ask about that and the lady on the phone was very rude and not helpful, and would not put the money back on my card.

The walls were paper thin. For a nicer hotel, this is unacceptable. I heard my neighbor talking on the phone clear as can be. Reminds me of a marriott courtyard with all the amenities. Staff was pleasant.

I was charged $50 more on my account then I was quoted. I went down to the front desk to ask about the charges. The person (Mike) at the front desk told me that it is a common charge. I asked him why he did not explain this charge and he proceed to tell me in a very rude tone of voice that he did not have to explain the charge. I said that he needs to explain it to me. He then answered the hotel phone while I was talking to him. I was literally mid-sentence when he picked up the phone. I asked him again to explain the charges and that I didn't feel comfortable with the way he was speaking to me and (while still on the phone) yelled "well then you can get out" and pointed to the door. I then asked to speak to a manager and he told me there was not one for me to speak too. I asked to then have a number for the manager and he said, I'm not giving you a number. I then called the corporate office and they then called the hotel and there was in fact a supervisor in the building who came out to talk with me. She told me that he was "miss informed" about a manager being in the building. Also while I was on the phone with the corporate office, I heard Mike apologize to another guest for "having to deal with that", meaning me.

My family held a birthday party for approximately 40 people at this hotel's restaurant, The Blue Stone Bistro, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The hotel Manager Jennifer was so helpful and accommodating from the start, and the pricing was very reasonable! The event room looked great, the food was tasty, and the server who helped us was very friendly. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to have a small party.
