Not too bad. The rooms are clean and modern. It's a reasonably priced hotel in a good location. Friendly staff and close to the airport. The breakfast selection was a bit weak though. Microwaved eggs and dried out sausage. But the again I rarely eat the free breakfast at these places…

Traveling from Virginia, my most recent stay at the Hampton Inn on Ulenski Drive in Albany, NY was not recreational. Our mother was terminally ill and ultimately died on March 27th. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful; very caring and sensitive to my needs. The day before my departure I returned to my beautifully cleaned room to find a lovely plant with a condolence note signed by staff members. Many thanks to the entire staff.

Great venue… fantastic service (specifically Lori at the desk). The layout is progressive and the housekeeping is immaculate and the vibe is incredibly welcoming. All sorts of great perks and amenities.

This hotel is SO comfortable and welcoming! My boyfriend and I walked in at 8pm on a Thursday with no reservation and were given our room keys within minutes of arriving. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Albany area :)

Typical Hampton Inn. Clean, service was good. Had a room with a King bed. Room was a little small. Probably get 2 doubles next time.

I really like the Hampton Inn in Albany. It is just off of Wolf Road, about 6 minutes from the airport. You won't have to figure out transportation, though since you can just call the hotel and they'll send their free shuttle to get you. A small tip to the driver is welcome of course, but there is no fee for the service. You can request the shuttle to drive you anywhere along Wolf Road during your stay. The staff here is friendly and always willing to help. Each morning there's a breakfast buffet that features an egg dish, either a sausage or potato dish, yogurt, a variety of fruit, cereals, pastries and beverages, along with a waffle maker. I've taken pictures of my room, but this isn't the only configuration. I've stayed here once before and had a different room. The handicapped accessible rooms have an armoire and dresser. This room has clothing storage and hangers behind the curtain. Depending on your destination, the Hampton Inn off of Wolf Road is a very convenient location and close to shopping and dining. There's a barbecue restaurant in the adjoining lot. When I visit Albany, this hotel is my choice.

I was very happy to be here. Very clean and new. Bagel pizza tops (is that the name? ) instead of scrambled eggs at breakfast which was odd, in my experience. But overall no complaints. TV reception was excellent. Great mattress. I suspect this was all part of a recent renovation so I had none of the issues reported below when I stayed (which was a Sunday night). No fridge or microwave that I could see but I didn't need nor as for one. Places close early in the area but if you want to get served past, well, 9:30 try the Denny's down the street, which is a real scene but nice people.

Easy connection off northway and airport. Plenty of stuff around it to occupy you no matter what time of day.

Location is good. The doors to the rooms close slowly, little weird. Desk is small. They are renovating though. Staff was friendly, cookies great.

Nice area, they are renovating the hotel so it will be a lot nicer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Worth staying there again.

Kind of a dump but doing renovations may get better.

The staff is amazing… the general manager is trash and treats her staff awful. I won't give money to a place that has a GM with no morals.

It December 16 8:05 pm and your emoyees in a hampton inn blue van with the saying advertised "it's a good day for a good day" are at discount wine and spirits on wolf road buying alcohol… be careful people!

The bed was uncomfortable, the water was hard, and the electric kettle in the room was filthy, other than that no complaints. Friendly staff, good service, clean hotel. All said, I'd probably stay there again.

The room was very clean and nice. No microwave or refridgerator in the room, unfortunately, but there was an iron and a tv. The breakfast was somewhat disapointing after hearing good reviews. It was not a potatos and eggs hot breakfast, but rather a stepped up contiential breakfast, with skilled microwaving. I can't really complaining about the service, and the location in very very close to the airport. So not bad for a single night.

The staff was polite and professional. The room was clean and well appointed and the breakfast was good. A great overall experience.

Had a wonderful stay. Had a problem with TV, maintenance fix quickly. Breakfast was great and staff seem to cater to peoples needs. I would DEFINITELY go back again.

The service here was excellent! There was a small mix up at the start of my stay, but the front desk and the managerial staff worked immediately to correct it. The employee in question even called me personally to apologize. They treated me like a valued customer, even though I was no more special than the next person, and I truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is not as newly renovated as other Hampton Inns, but it was a clean enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this to anyone stopping through, who loves Hampton Inns, and is looking for a clean comfortable good night's sleep.

Nice rooms and nicely cleaned but the housekeeping is sort of loud, they kept waking me up in the mornings. Suggested to bring earplugs for anyone wanting to sleep in later than 8-9 o clock. The breakfast is delicious!

Such a great hotel! Check in took a little longer than expected because of how people waiting to check in, but my room was very clean when I got to it. They are a paperless hotel without a pamphlet describing what's in the hotel and where, but the front desk gladly asked any questions I had. This was an overall very good experience I had with the Hampton Inn.

Very friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Shuttle to airport and local places. Park and stay available. Convenient to airport.

I've stayed here about once per year for the past couple years and while it's still a good option, this trip may have me looking elsewhere. Room was clean, but in need to refreshing. Hotel staff sat in the lobby and complained about management when no one was around. I'll consider other options next time I'm in the area.

The room was neat and clean, the front desk was able to give us good recommendations for local food and drink, and the breakfast food was hot. The hotel was easy to find from the airport. My only complaint is the water flow in the shower, but most places use low flow shower heads now, so it takes forever to get one's hair clean.

I attended a training session held in the conference room on the first floor. It was a nice, quiet room. The air conditioner kicked in very frequent, which made sitting near it very uncomfortable.

Was a great stay for business. Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, and continental breakfast was good too.

Internet service very poor. Tech staff is on phone service only and they can't help you since they are in some other state. No one can help here and all they say is they are sorry. Bad place to use your computer. Don't think I will be back again.

Nice rooms, quiet, easy access to the airport. Only thing I didn't like was that the TV service sucks, and the tvs take 5 seconds to change channels. Not the worst thing in the world.

The room was clean and neat when I arrived. Breakfast was warm and we'll stoked. Front desk was very helpful, even with my late night arrival.

Stayed at the Hampton Tuesday night and was a pleasant stay. Room was clean and nice. Was able to use air conditioner which was nice in the middle of December. Would Def like to return there again.

Service as usual was exemplary. Rooms, however, were not very soundproof. I could clearly hear doors opening and closing, people talking in the hall and all water usage in the adjacent rooms. My short night of sleep was interrupted several times. I called for the shuttle from the airport only to find out that they stop the service at 11 pm. Even though they advertise as an airport hotel and flights arrive after 11. I could not find anything on the hotel website about the shuttle times.

We usually stay here each year on the way to a family reunion. The front desk employees are very friendly and helpful; the rooms are clean — the beds alone are worth the cost. We always appreciate the opportunity to have a quick, hot meal at the complimentary breakfast buffet. This year, upon arriving at our destination the following day, a member of our party realized he had lost his wallet containing identification, credit cards, and cash. Frantic, we called several places before making the effort to cancel the cards. When we called the Hampton, we were relieved to learn the wallet had been located by housekeeping — everything was intact including the cash. The staff had been unable to reach our cell phones, but they had already left multiple messages on our home phone assuring us that the wallet was located. We want to commend each of you for going above and beyond what was required in making arrangements to return the wallet to us. You displayed not only remarkable customer service but kindness. See you next year!

Worst experience ever. Hotel is just average. But the customer service is so arrogant and rude. I booked and paid the hotel rooms through the agency, but was requested to present my credit card at check-in for so called "damage" deposit. Later, I found my credit card was double charged and contacted the hotel for full refund, but the front desk refused to talk to me and lied about the transaction. Anyway, I managed getting my money back from my agent eventually after several hours phone calls. Next time, check your credit card and make sure no double charges!
