We have recently tried Microtel and it has been a good experience. Fresh coffee 24 hrs is a big plus. Clean and comfortable rooms. We joined the Wyndham rewards.

I'm not recommending Victor unless you are a single person and just staying one night. We booked online for two occupants with a Queen bed.
The not so great: The photos shown are far different to the reality. Meaning, the rooms are VERY small. In the photos, the angle of the way they were taken, the room looks bigger as does the bed. They call these beds Queen sized, but they aren't. They're double.
The breakfast choices are FAR LESS than any other hotel we've ever stayed at, that includes free breakfast.
The heater is weird. Heat out one end, and cold air the other end AT THE SAME TIME! To make matters worse, the cold air is close to the bed.
We went down to the lobby twice for something and there was never anyone at the desk, we had to go in search of them… after waiting 10 mins.
The good stuff: Bathroom is okay and shower works well. TV too is okay but no list in the room showing what channels are what. Wi-Fi works well.
Rooms are clean and we like that there is a fridge. Price is reasonable for what you get.

We had a WONDERFUL stay this weekend overall! We were far enough out of Rochester and close enough to my family in Fairport and Canandaigua. The only real issues we faced were how slow the tub and sink drained and also the disgusting black gunk in our small trashcan (which I wouldn’t had seen if I weren’t looking for a small bag). Overall, the continental breakfast was nice and the hotel was quiet. We got a good rate on bookings. Com and we will come back.

The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and shops and variety of activities. The staff was very nice, but the hotel was not very clean, we found food in our room from a previous guest. Also, the breakfast left a lot to be desired. I think a skunk must have gotten stuck in the stairwell that was near our room, the smell was there the whole time we were staying there. Also, they allow pets, but you can't leave them there if you leave during the day. They don't state that online. Also, there are no elevators, this didn't bother us as we like to use the stairs, but just an FYI.

We enjoyed our stayed there! Very friendly atmosphere, clean facilites, good continental breakfast. This is our 3rd stayed and are planning on going back.

The hotel was clean and offered the basic amenities, including a mini fridge. The breakfast was nice to have included, but it was a very simple offering. Great for budget and time though. Would stay here again.

Very long check in time. Smelled like a wet dog in there. In fact many wet dogs were guests there with their humans. Otherwise desk clerks and employees were very nice.

Excellent! Had a great experience from the check-in until our checkout … the staff was good & helpful. Cleanliness in the room really impressed was very good … overall highly recommend this place … would definitely stay here again! Location is also good had a mall around and few good restaurants too. Loved the experience!

We arrived after midnight and the staff was very accommodating. Our room was ready immediately and check in took less than 5 minutes. We plan on staying here again in the future.

This place ticks all the boxes for cleanliness, comfort, cost and location. Quiet rooms, lots of hot water and nice absorbent towels. Really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is filling and plentiful. Hours from 6am to 10am with 24 hour hot coffee & tea. Our luggage was delayed and we arrived after midnight due to heavy snow & flight diversions. Nightshift desk attendant supplied emergency toothbrush & toothpaste. Free of charge! Really great place. Thank-you to all at Microtel Inn &. Suites Victor. This will always be my go to place when I am in town.

Clean, comfortable, no smell of cleaning chemicals. Easy access to rooms through multiple entry doors. Great price.

I stayed here for 5 nights recently and was very pleased. All of the front desk clerks were extremely courteous and helpful. The room was clean and the continental breakfast was sufficient. I will be back.

Have stayed here several times during the past year while traveling to the area for specialty medical services at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. There are many hotels in the area to choose from but we always stay here for many reasons. While the hotel can be hard to find initially because it is situated behind other businesses, it is centrally located to shopping, stores and dining in Victor NY. The grounds are kept up and the rooms are always clean and comfortable at a reasonable rate. Small workout room on premises but you can work out free of charge at Planet Fitness across the street as a Microtel guest also. Customer service is top notch here too and the hotel is pet friendly. We will continue to return whenever we are in the area.

I stayed a while in Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham. I stayed in the victor Hotel and the service was wonderful. It was a great location lots of restaurants around and the rooms were very clean.

No frills. This is a place to park your bags and sleep, and little more than rhat. BUT… the staff are friendly and very helpful, the place is clean and well kept up, and the prices are excellent. Very good value, as long as you're aiming in that direction.

I have visited this particular Microtel a number of times for work trips. The staff is friendly, the Continental breakfast is well stocked (though it could offer more variety, there are no options that I've seen for hot meals such as those automated pancake makers). The rooms are clean and well kept. Very good price for the value. I will definitely stay again.

The room was very clean. Although quite small, it was cozy, had a decent size bathroom, and every space was put to good use. We would recommend this motel, and would stay here again. (No elevator)

Quiet, clean, and relaxing. We had no problem with this place at all. Even with 3 cats (which is hard to get a hotel with) they were friendly and helpful. A delicious breakfast as well. I will be looking for more of this hotel chain for the rest of our trip.

This is our go to hotel when visiting our daughter at RIT. It's way nicer than the Microtel near campus. The rates are always cheaper than the big chains which makes up for the extra drive. Loses one star for breakfast room being too small and lack of equipment in workout room.

It was a great stay, for a short visit to see our daughter at college. I would recommend this to others and will stay again.

Stayed here for a cpl of races we were doing. Convenient to so much with many parks nearby. The hotel and staff are wonderful. Super clean. Would definitely recommend and stay again. I felt so comfortable and it had a homey welcoming feel.

This is the place for a great overnight stay for a couple. The rooms are small, but they have more than enough room for 2 people, and the service was awesome! The overnight manager John was very helpful and nice. I would definitely stay here again.

I want to express my deepest appreciation for the kind attention given to me this past weekend. As my family drove into the Inn parking lot I experienced a serious medical issue which ended in my being taken by ambulance to the Canandagua Hospital Emergency Room. Not only was the Microtel desk staff most helpful in attending to my immediate needs, they cancelled our room without penalty. Thank you staff for not only taking care of me, but putting up with small grandchildren who looked to you for attention. This personal attention is why our family uses only the Victor Microtel Inn & Suites for Rochester area trips.

After many tries… I will stop trying. Pass this location a couple times a year, have stayed 4 times. It's the only hotel where I have EVER asked to switch rooms because the one they gave me was CLEARLY full of debris (construction related, I believe). No complaints about the small rooms, it's a MICROTEL, and that part is understood. Typically, the friendly staff and awesome breakfast are reason enough to return. This time through, struggling to find accommodation for myself and 3 kids, I was told they had 2 rooms left. Perfect, I only needed 1! Then, when I said I would need a crib, I was told that there was a crib on the premises, but she would have to *search/scrounge, can't remember the exact term, to find it. I said, "Okay! If you have a crib, it's a go! " She repeated that she would have to dig to find it, and met me with a blank stare. Then, sweetly, she said, "If you would like, I could call the Holiday Inn next door to see if they have availability. "? I told her that they were full, then left! Maybe she was having a bad day? I had been in my van with 3 kids for 10 hours, my day was worse. I sobbed in the parking before forging ahead. Never again!

Great for a quick nights sleep! Rooms are small but worked perfect for the two of us. Toilet paper was not a new roll but I'm fine with not being wasteful and the rest of the room was clean. No elevator but they have first floor rooms if need be. Service was great and we didn't get breakfast but I grabbed a cup of cereal and muffins for the road. Muffins were great! Overall the best deal for the price!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Staff was super friendly, very clean, room smelled clean and was fairly quite. We travel with our dog, and there was no problem at all have her join us. The young lady at the desk even gave us the AARP room rate, to help with the $20 pet fee. So it saved us $21. Laundry was nice, clean and a good price. Only have two so they could use a few more. But over all we definitely would stay here again if in the area.

It is very convienant, clean and well maintained! We have stayed here several times. We have brought our pets here and they charge a $20 fee, but it is well worth it!

Best value! Actually it is more than that. Clean, both the common areas & our room. Room was just the perfect size for what we required. The bed was even comfortable & for me to state that is a big deal. I've stayed in 5+ star properties & had issues with the bedding. The staff was very friendly. Not fake friendly either. To top it off the continental breakfast was complete, fresh & delicious. If you're passing through on I-90 & need to stay around Rochester, NY, I highly recommend this motel. The price on the Hotel Tonight App was $87 taxes in.

The reservations were list for our group. Had a misunderstanding of them details of the accommodations and the responsible us arranged all of shape professional and courteous.

As a frequent traveler for work, this is my favorite hotel. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the location is excellent. It is right off the NYS Thruway I-90, and access to 490 and 590 is nearby. It's proximity to the City of Rochester and the Canandaigua Finger Lakes, New York Wine Trail is very convenient! As a Wyndham Rewards member and AARP/AAA member, the room rates are the lowest I can find. This hotel was recently renovated, so the rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. And, their bagels and coffee are better than any other hotel I've been in. No other hotel can beat this value!

Disgusting dirty hotel. The bathroom was filthy and had hair all over floor. The beds had hair on the sheets. Shower curtain had black mildew. Stains all over carpet. Gross! This was my first and last time at a Microtel.

Great Hotel! From the exceptional service and friendly staff to a great complimentary breakfast (with gluten free muffins), this hotel is one of the best in the Rochester area if you don't need all the hustle and bustle of a city hotel. Definitely coming here again in the future when I stop by this area again!

I was bitten by bed bugs in this hotel. The manager told me that the room was tested for bed bugs and none were found. However this was the only hotel we stayed in and I know what bed bugs bites look like. I am still itching. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Always have a great stay when traveling from Canada to NY. This motel is in a great place, close to many places to eat and malls. Conformable, clean and awesome people working here very helpful and polite. Great cost from Expedia!

Very clean and decent for the price. We had a mini fridge in our room. Breakfast was minimal but good. Bagels, English muffins, cereal, coffee, yogurt, juice. Would definitely return!

Decent budget hotel right on the highway. Good breakfast options. Close to the mall and few restaurants. Can use the gym nearby with your guest keycard.

It's your typical budget hotel. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Nice place to stay for the price, but a no frills hotel.

Do not stay at a place that will take your personal stuff and use them as a clean-up cloth to wipe up a leaky toilet. The staff were not also personable or friendly. I ordered a room with a microwave and fridge and I got neither.

I thought the rooms were very nice and clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. This isn't a luxury hotel but I thought it was a terrific value and will stay again.

These rooms are budget motels and I knew they had no mini fridge or microwave but I assumed they would have a coffee maker — — wrong. This is a first in my many travels and for this reason I will not stay at a Micotel again, I like to have coffee before I shower and I'm not walking down to the lobby to get it. The non smoking room reeked of smoke. On the positive side I will say that the Wifi was good and the room was clean other than the smell. But the smell ruined the cleanliness.
