The front desk staff are total dickheads. They’re all rude and don’t care about your hotel stay at all. Every time I would walk into the lobby some old guy would sit there and stare at me until I left. Don’t give this place any business.

Good hotel friendly staff and great customer service, the wife and I stay from Thursday 1/24 til Sunday 1/27 just for my nephew’s wedding. Definitely would stay again the rooms were always clean.

Went there for a conference. It was so dirty in there, no staff at front desk to direct you, phones were ringing off the hook. Lobby windows were so dirty and I tripped over a brick trying to throw a bottle in the trash I front of building. I went to purchase a drink from hotel store but once again no one to assist so I walked to a near by dollar general. The lobby stink so bad like something had spilled and not been cleaned properly. The actual meeting room was also gross. The tables were dirty as if never wiped down in between events. When you finally did see staff they were unkempt and unprofessional. Just based off the condition of lobby and meeting room I would be SCARED TO DEATH to ever stay there, ever!

For the price we paid, this was a really good deal. A couple of minor stains on our bedding, but everything felt clean and the decor was nice. We appreciated the variety available for the complimentary breakfast.

Place needs to be update. No elevators. Towels were drity. Large dogs allowed in hotel. Landscaping terrible. Hallway had a smell. Staff friendly. Would not recommend this place.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced. We chose this location because the rate was what I am accustomed to paying for a decent hotel ($90+ a night). To start, the heating/cooling has a fan function, but does not work. Once the temperature is reached, the unit shuts off. The TV was very small for a two bed room and buttons had to be pressed multiple times to get a response. There was a hole in the ceiling above the shower, and the water temperature during my shower would go from hot to ice cold and back again repeatedly. The pillows on the beds are small and square, which was awkward. The blankets are super thin which was awful since I had to set the temp so low to keep the fan running. The final piece was that there was so one making Indian food across the hall in what I assume is the managers residence. I love Indian food, but the smell is extremely pungent and it was all that we could smell in the room and hallway. We will not be back.

Good value for a low price. Rooms are not fancy but have all you really need. Custom controlled heat/AC, microwave, fridge, good lighting and adequate furniture. Convenient free shuttle from airport if you don't rent a car Rhett. Cons: Doors are hollow so can hear noise from hall and air plane noise since near airport (small planes fly over infrequently during the day). Two floors and no elevator.

Clean room. Easy shuttle to the airport. Sleep and park at hotel simplified and reduced the cost of parking at the airport.

This hotel is just plain dirty and in poor repair. I had to clean the toilet myself, chose to not even use the tub/shower, and always felt the need to touch as little as possible and wash my hands. Grungy.

Dirty, dust on top of everything. Missing lightbulbs, (holes in the lamp shade so you could see for sure they were gone) outlet hanging of the wall, remote doesn't work, TV doesn't work. The wall seemed to be cracking which might be why the curtian wouldn't close all the way. Staff was not very curtious at all (no it isn't because we complained, my mom just toughed it out and is telling me about this now) wouldn't even say hello back to her in the morning. Would probably consider giving less than one star if possible.

In great need of updating. Dark hallways, old, dirty, ripped rugs. Right next to highway, train tracks, and Liquor Town. Felt seedy and dank. Breakfast was nothing special. No elevator — you have to haul your luggage upstairs. The only saving grace was that we had a fairly quiet night's sleep.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was crowded, like full up crowded. The staff did their best to keep up. The guests checking in weren't very quiet or supportive. My room on first floor near desk was not the quietest place.

Good location for shopping and food. Rooms are fairly priced. Breakfast is offered in the morning, but not much of a selection. Great staff that are very personable and welcoming.

Not a nice hotel. Front desk was friendly. Curtain was broken, and window wouldn't open. No fan in bathroom. A bathroom with suspended ceiling tiles. Alternative entry doors did not work with room card. Stale, musty odor in hallway. And a nice shiny comforter on the bed.

Worst experience ever. I rent hotel rooms frequently and this place was by far the worst one. Room was filthy when I ask for a clean room I was told it every room was booked even tho it was clearly a lie and when I asked for a refund they said no because I "took" the room already even tho all I did was walk in and rite back out. I took pictures of the filth and the manager said that the room was clean to the hotel standards. I definitely wont be staying there and I will tell everyone I know to go to anywhere else.

If there was a NEGATIVE STAR rating, I may think about it… This place is an absolute DUMP! I attended a party here on New Years Eve and they offered a deal for rooms for $65/night. In my opinion, it was $60 too much. The front desk staff were rude, undertrained, clueless and basically useless for any help or information. Our room was not the room we booked for starters, our keycards didn't work, and the room had an awful stentch to it. Dirty and skeevy, hairs all over the bathroom floor, and it was not mine! Oh, and the bag of weed the last guy forgot on the chair in our room, or maybe times have changed and instead of a breath mint, you get a dime bag! The hotel itself is way outdated, dark, dingy, and had a smell that I cannot describe. It had a snowed the day before and there was still 6 inches of snow in the parking lot in most parking spaces. It's basically run down and the only fix at this point would be a wrecking ball! Quality should not be in the name of this place, unless they rename it THE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO QUALITY INN! If you are traveling to Rochester, stay away from this place, its not worth it, there are many other nice places in the area to spend the night that are the same price. NEGATIVE 5 STARS for this embarrassing establishment.

Please avoid at any cost. To start — arrived with my wife at 10:40PM, was notified the Wi-Fi is not working, stressed need it for work and the suggestion they come up with — ‘we can try and cancel your reservation, but cannot guarantee it is possible, so better go find another hotel… ’ at 11PM, right, with no refund guaranteed! So went to my room, to find out AC unit isn’t working, freezing cold, came back and was told the only available room is with two beds, smaller and without the listed amenities like microwave. Still decided to move since it was warmer… the hallway stinks like weed, dirty everywhere, the clientele I’ve seen are whether drunk, or hooker-like underaged groups of 5-6, weird-looking cars coming and going constantly… keys won’t work and had to come back to charge… everything is buzzing and crackling, extremely noisy… ehhhrr disgusting inside out! Cannot wait till morning to get out, I don’t even plan to stay for breakfast coffee… hope this place will be put out of its misery Update: no receipt and extremely rude front desk guy, who said he’ll call the police for us, picked up the phone, hung up saying they’re on their way. Said he cannot provide the managers phone # — — again disgusting, I’m starting the legal action against this s**thole.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Comforter had burns in it. Alarm clock broken. No outlets for phones. Outdated. Breakfast was terrible, actually threw it away. Limited elevators, room was just dirty. Someone buy this place and fix it up. Try another hotel. Do not book here.

Loved the timely fashion of the staff and I have to say open Wi-Fi required no password thanks for the password however! Enjoyed the show and the comforts of home away from home And I LIVE LOCALLY but also love the idea that we can always find ourselves on the brink of vacation! I'm glad I got to experience the heat wave in the morning 56 degrees in January on the 11.

The room was fair for the price. The shower didn't work great and we did have a burn hole in our blanket but other than that. No complaints.

This hotel has seen better days and is really only acceptable for an overnight stay to catch a flight out of Rochester International Airport (they do have a 24 hour shuttle). I paid about $67 ($59 plus taxes) for the room and that would probably be the most I'd be willing to pay here. The lobby is nice and they did a good job decorating it for Christmas. Unfortunately, that's where all their investment is going into. The rest of the hotel is a study in deferred maintenance. My room was 128, and the bathroom was in horrible shape… a strange substance splattered on the door, a cracked toilet tank cover, and a bathtub with a stained and discolored bath mat. And the tub seemingly had no way to close the drain for a bath. Carpet was worn through, lampshades were cracked and bent, and the furniture was ancient. Bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi was reasonably fast, so it wasn't all bad. And the flat screen TV and fridge worked well. I didn't try breakfast considering my 3:45 AM departure to catch my flight. Staff was friendly enough, but disinterested. The woman checking out ahead of me had caught a bedbug in her room. I didn't see any bedbug evidence in my own room, but it's still cause for concern. This is easily the worst Quality Inn I've stayed at in nearly a decade. The others I've stayed at have been good to excellent. This one falls far short of Quality brand standards and needs to be renovated or downgraded to an economy brand.

Very basic hotel, don't expect too much. Nice and clesn. Big breakfast area with stand hotel hot and cold breakfast. Close to highway, Walmart and shops.

Rooms were clean, price very cheap, staff friendly.

The breakfast actually was ok. Not like normal hotel eggs. So much better.

As noted in other reviews this motel is very dated. The furniture is old — painted and chipped. The lamp shades were cracked. Not enough outlets — and the ones that were there were behind the bed. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay — no eggs or sausage until we were finished with our breakfast. The person serving the breakfast was a maintenance person — clearly the breakfast was not his only responsibility. Should have been wearing an apron or clothing protector over his maintenance uniform.

Room was clean. Staff were friendly and attentive. Very reasonable rates. Complimentary breakfast was decent. Plenty of towels. No issues or problems.

Pros: The night manager, Kenny, was kind and responsive. He was apologetic and helpful. Quality Inn corporate folks, if you're watching, promote this guy before he drowns in the cess pool that is your Rochester, NY location. Cons: we had the chance to get to know Kenny so well because this place is a filthy dump. Our first room (yep) : the remote was broken, the hair dryer was covered in tiny black curly hairs and thick oil (I will never sleep right again), the room was dingy, and no plugs would stay in outlets because they are so outdated and unsafe. Why didn't we call the front desk?, you may ask… well, that's because the phone didn't work either. Kenny moved us into a second room. The door was so swollen, my husband was the only one who could get us into the room with two shoulder shoves. Seriously. The building is run down. The side doors have keyed entries, but no room key we had ever worked in them. That didn't matter too much, because most of the side doors were left propped open so that anyone could enter at will. There was a group of teenagers moving a mattress out (? ) And another group smoking pot. If you're looking for a family friendly place… keep looking. The breakfast is so disgusting. I actually gave some of the scrambled eggs to my dog and he barfed them up. (Poor guy … scrambled eggs are his fave… that says something). There were no coffee cups at the continental breakfast. We chose this place because it was pet friendly and inexpensive.

The hotel is great. They have done a lot of work to what used to be a run down old hotel. The new management seems to actually care about what the hotel looks like and the level of service that they provide. I would definitely book here again to see all the new improvements they will/have been making!

Expected to be much higher quality with over a hundred dollar price point. Room was adequate. Bathroom was tiny and dated but reasonably clean. Breakfast was decent and included a microwave, something not usually available. Overall met our needs but age if the facility showed through.

Breakfast ran out, visitors had to ask for it to be filled again, and they took a long time to do so despite there being three in the area, one of whom was getting breakfast for himself. The rooms are outdated, and worst of all, sounds from other rooms are easy to hear including yelling during my first night stay. I will not come here again.

When I was there this week I left behind my daughter's open heart necklace. My daughter passed away just a year ago and this necklace had a match which is buried with her. I would hope that the cleaning staff would turn this in knowing that it's a part of my daughter that I can't replace. She has a daughter I wanted to pass it on to. My heart is broken…

Hotel is remodeling, room door didnt close properly, everything else was in decent condition.

The room was very dirty and had a very bad smell to it. Even as a truck driver I think some dog kennels smell better and I would not even put my dog up in this hotel.

Comfy beds but it was hot and ac wouldnt come on come midnight.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst Experience of my life. In the middle of our last night stay, someone tried to break into our room through the window. My girlfriend was terrified. I Woke up the next morning to check out to find cops chasing 3 girls around the hotel. I even overheard one guest explaining to cops that she had actually been attacked by one of the squatters. During my stay the hotel sign read "park and f*** package" which I found extremely morbid and unsettling. Some Staff members were nice. Most were unprofessional. However that does not make up for how unkempt the rooms were. There were stains on the sheets, the rooms and hallways wreaked of smoke. The continental breakfast was pitiful. Milk was spoiled there was orange juice everywhere. And the tables were dirty. The hotel was under "renovations" There were mattresses in the hallways. Everything was out of order. If you stay here you'd be better off sleeping in the lobby — that's nicest part of this establishment. If youre trying to save money… the car or a shelter would be a better fit. You've been warned.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience as far back as I can recall. I have stayed in several Inn's as well as Quality Inn. This place was like a low run down, side of the road out dated motel, (and that's putting it nicely). Stained carpet, stained foyer chairs, dust and debris in the corners of rooms, stained counter tops, lamps and telephone didn't work in room. And 3am I was in desperate need of a room for my family $147 double bed room. I knew this placed had to be a franchised establishment there was know way the company Quality Inn would allow a disgrace like this. And the nite clerk informed me that it was privately owned, my concerns would be address by management in the a. M. 10:55am we were in the car driving off. I advise if you have any kind of germ phobia — STAY AWAY.

The room was in ok condition. The staff was extremely trashy and inappropriate. Having loud conversations about sex in the hallway when my children and I were walking to get breakfast. One was standing in the hall with towels talking on her phone about face timing sex and getting hickies. I was disgusted with the way the staff was acting, especially around my kids. If you have children, then this is probably not the right stay for you.

I've stayed at many quality inn hotels across nys as I work out of town a lot. Quality inn is generally nice hotels to stay at which is why I didn't mind this one at first. Generally very clean and nice atmosphere and amenities etc. BUT this particular quality inn is by far the worst I've stayed at yet. The rooms are not so clean even the breakfast room was dirty. I sat down at a table that was very sticky and disgusting. The staff is very lazy and you can tell don't really want to be there… not very accommodating at all. The rooms are very old styled. I feel like I'm living in the 80s staying here, older tv's and green and orange bed covers. Once you stay at a few other quality inn hotels and then come here, you will know exactly what I'm talking about… very different and not welcoming at all. Not satisfied.

Terrible filthy and horrible service.

The hotel was undergoing renovations — that would have been good to know BEFORE we booked the room for 4 days. The discarded furniture was piled behind our assigned room, from which many people retrieved items at all hours. I did not feel my vehicle would be safe parked there. The Wi-Fi stopped working after 1 day, as did the pool. The ATM was out of order, as was the exercise room during our 4 day stay. We tried to watch a movie on the free HBO, but it was not operational. When I tried to call the front desk, the phone did not work. I was told that the phone was down as a result of the renovations. When my daughters and I went to the breakfast room, the floor was sticky, the tables ALL soiled and sticky. The food was not replenished quickly and we ended up going out for breakfast. The front desk personnel were very nice and very friendly. But we had a terrible experience overall!

Quiet and good night sleep. Good breakfast. No shortage on towels.

The rooms had wallpapers peeling off. The television is old and the remotes don't work. The bathroom was not clean. They say that they had high speed internet, which they did not have. In the room, I would be connected to the internet but it was limited so you have to go out in the lobby to get full internet access! The bed was not clean and when you want your bed sheets to be changed, they will never be changed. The worse hotel I've ever been to.

Very courteous staff. They were very helpful with the questions I had. My room was quiet and clean. For the price, I couldn't ask for much better. My only disappointment was that I booked through Expedia under the impression the hotel had an indoor pool. They have an outdoor pool, but I stayed in March. Not good swimming weather LOL.

Good place to rest when you are on a road trip up to Niagara Falls. We were part of a tour group so I am not too sure of the rates but it's probably inexpensive since our tour was dirt cheap. This seems like a family friendly motel to me. The rooms are spacious and basic. It's bare bones. No complimentary toiletries so bring your own shampoo. There is a microwave and fridge in each room so meals could easily be eaten in. There is a complimentary breakfast downstairs but there is not much food to choose from. The pool looked nice and the grounds were kept clean. Not bad at all.
