This is the hotel that allowed sex offenders to be released into their facility, eight to be exact. No.

Just about every time I come to Rochester I stay at this hotel for the price and location. Unfortunately just about every time I come and stay here there is always a situation that leaves a very nasty taste in my mouth. To begin, Ms Angelica. She should not be an employee of your company at all. I will be sure to get back to her in a moment. I checked in Friday night after my flight was delayed twice. The young lady that checked me in was very nice I hate that it took a phone call down stairs to tell her that there was loud running up and down the hallway which she agreed that she was aware of it because she heard it herself which I was on the 3rd floor. Saturday I was preparing for a funeral I got the iron out of the closet it the rusted old iron leaked rusted water all over my clothes and the bed linen which I have pics of the bed my clothes I threw away. So unfortunately I had to wear sweats to my uncles funeral. I called down Stairs and got Ms Angelica which she sounded like she was sleep and I bothered her. I told her what happened and she basically said oh well when I asked her how would she rectify the situation. I asked for a manager and she told me that there was no one else that I was gonna talk to and that there was no district manager which is hard to believe for a chain of hotels. This was my last time staying at this hotel and you can definitely count on me telling everyone I know not to stay there as well‼️

The room is nice, and the entire staff was very helpful and friendly. Many nice restaurant are within walking distance of Holiday Inn Express. Awesome.

Friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms. I would have offered 5 stars if the elevator wasn’t so hot and dirty, if the TV had been in better work order, and if the included breakfast hadn’t been so lowly stocked (partially empty) a full hour before the close of breakfast. Breakfast is served during a 3 hour window, so a full hour prior to end is a big deal. But in all, these are not deal breakers, I had s good stay.

Ok rooms. Super dated elevator. Friendly staff. Pretty typical holiday inn.

THEY DIDNT HAVE A POOL! This holiday inn is really nice, inside. The rooms were clean and had no problems with. The Wi-Fi was fine.

It's a hotel, it's been refurbished and so the rooms are clean and new rugs in rooms and hallways. Breakfast is enough to get you going. Good coffee and a nice friendly staff.

Fantastic customer service right away and continues to impress me. Clean, comfortable, and friendly staff go a long ways in my book. I will Glady stay again if work bring me to the area.

I want to start out by saying that the staff that were particularly helpful and or an exemplary model were the really tall guy that fixed my fridge and the young woman in the breakfast area. Thank you both for the fine job you did! That being said the woman that seems to run the front desk wasn't rude but she wasn't friendly. I expect a little more than that when I'm paying $179 per night. I get that people have off days and I guess that may be the reason. Next would be the elevator that looks like it needs to be completely remodeled or replaced. The ceilings in the lobby are incredibly low too. The hotel looks like remodeling began and money ran out and things just were painted over or left undone. The bathroom near the breakfast area looks like it will be nice but none of the finish work is done. The room is TIGHT! The bathroom is TIGHT! The sink backs up even if you just rinse your hands. The fridge has a control switch on the back which I couldn't find on the inside where it should be. Called the front desk and almost immediately the tall guy I mentioned before came, pulled the fridge out from its place and raised the temp, put it back, and was friendly and gracious. This at best was a $79 per night hotel not a $179. I paid the full price because it would have been too much hassle to look for another place to stay. I would not recommend this place at all. Spend your money someplace else.

Clean, nicely located to some nice restaurants. Not a particularly friendly staff but I'm accustomed to Hilton properties. Room was a little small. Bathroom was very small. Not a fan of 1st floor rooms in general, but it was servicable for one night.

Excellent room. Wonderful breakfast. Nice staff. Adria was really nice and kind. 100% recommended.

Sink wouldn't drain, so we asked the front desk to take care of it. It was somewhat better when we returned, but the sink had dried remnants of the gross water that was backed up! Front reception area was nice, elevator and hallways were rather seedy. Our night was disturbed by loud men talking and slamming doors all night. When we went to complain at checkout, not one person was around at the front desk.

Clean hotel great breakfast will be back if you like sports don’t forget to go to the distillery next-door the food is great the people are friendly.

First time staying at this Holiday Inn Express and I was extremely disappointed. The TV in the room was disconnected and didn't work, once staff came and fixed that then the cable service stopped. They messed up the billing of our two rooms after we spoke with staff in detail about how it should be charged. On Saturday evening coming off the elevator to a hallway of smoke in a Non smoking hotel was very disturbing. Only to be topped off by numerous guests returning at 11:30 and continuing their party in the hallway. Requests to the front desk to deal with the issue were ignored and the hallway party continued on and off until after 2:30. We won't be returning to this hotel again, and I won't be recommending it either.

I've stayed in better Holiday Inn's! Under construction at the moment doing upgrades. Great location for the Rochester area!

Nice hotel, staff is super friendly. They are still don't renovations and the entrance looks rough but the rooms are really nice.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 days, the hotel being renovated and we stayed in a newer room. Clean comfortable beds and newer amenities. Everything was good but went to great! I left my watch behind, after completely unpacking and not seeing it I decided to call the hotel with little optimism I'd find it. The hotel not only found the watch, it was at the desk and was sent to me in the mail! Thank you Leslie for the outstanding customer service and to the staff (finding the watch) for your integrity.

Good service and friendly staff makes my two week stay enjoyable. Hotel is currently going through a renovation and I am currently staying in their renovated floor. Overall enjoyable stay and very clean especially for what you pay for.

The Holiday Inn Express Rochester-Greece is a comfortable, convenient place to stay. It is a modern, four-story hotel located in the heart of Rochester's westside suburban shopping district. Having stayed at a variety of establishments, I was very happy with my room and the facilities overall. I stayed in a room with a king size bed. It featured a 32" TV with digital cable, Keurig coffeemaker, mini fridge, and microwave. The sink was bright green and part of a large vanity outside of the bathroom proper. The shower was hot with great water pressure and the towels were soft. There was a large desk near the window and a chaise lounge with a small side table behind it. There were many light fixtures throughout the room in addition to power outlets and USB ports that had the high amperage requirements to recharge digital devices quickly. The Wi-Fi also worked quite quickly, allowing me to get my work done without an issue. Though there are no restaurants on site, national chain Applebees and local chains MacGregor's and The Distillery are all located across the street. There is also hot coffee with half-and-half available around the clock in the lobby. The hotel also features one of the best hotel breakfasts that I have ever had. In addition to the usual coffee, tea, bread, muffins, pastries, cereal, juice, and fresh fruit, there were a number of memorable hot options as well.

Fitness center is comically small, but the hotel is otherwise perfectly adequate. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Great location, including a Starbucks across the street. Friendly people. Decent Wi-Fi. I can watch Netflix. It's quiet. Decent breakfast food with delicious, warm cinnamon buns.

Staff very friendly at check-in and knowledgeable about the local area. Lobby was nice, free coffee. Room was recently renovated and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Did not try the free breakfast. Would stay here again.

I really love working there, the people are very warm and welcoming. All of the staff get along like family helping each other to complete our task. Right now we are under construction to one of the floors, two of the floors has been completed and is beautiful. Working here is very challenging but it is so worth it when our guests says " thank you for a wonderful stay. " Believe me my next vacation I will be making reservations at the Holiday Inn Express on West Ridge Rd.

I rented a king sized suite. The furniture was o. K. But the Jacuzzi was really small I will go to the carlton or Fairfield inn nextime I want to pay for extra luxury. The staff were polite during checkout. I business travel at times. It's suites are basic but not really luxury class if that helps.

Nice renovations to lobby and other guest areas. Will be nice to see finished results. Always a good stay and value.

Good place too stay for a short trip. Remodeling on going but, with minor impact. Only negative is lack of hot water on 3rd floor guest rooms.

The hotel was undergoing construction during our stay but it did not interfere with our peaceful good time. The front desk staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was hot and ready each morning with a variety that satisfied our whole family.

They are renovating the first floor, but the whole building needs renovating. It's old, dated, and dirty. It took forever to get warm water for showers.

Stayed here for graduation for one day while had another hotel booked. This was way better than the other hotel down the street wish we could have stayed here longer and transfered right back but everyone was booked. Everything was excellent and I do wish a few better breakfast opinions were offered. I understand it's an express hotel that's an in and out.

PERSONAL PERSONAL approach! If you plan on staying more than once, this is your place. All I need is to call Ed, (I think he remembers all of his customers names not just me) and the booking is all set the way you like. Reason for not 5 stars — nothing to do with the people who work there. The hotel needs some reno. It would be nice to have newer facilities, microwave, fridge and integrated into the wall air conditioner.

Very friendly staff. Smells like a generic hotel, which is good because there are many places in the area that allow smoking in some rooms. I'm pleased that this place doesn't reek. Beds leave a bit to be desired, but they're comfortable enough for a business trip. If I was traveling for pleasure, I'd be disappointed. Breakfast is okay — very "canned" fare, but it's hot and free, so it's tough to complain. The whole place feels like it's been around a long time. Due for a renovation, imo. Overall a passable experience, even if not a world class one.

The staff have been helpful and courteous. It has free parking and an excellent selection of foods in the morning for their free breakfast. Free parking and easy on and off the highway. Lots of restaurants nearby in walking distance.

Just about the only redeeming quality about this place was it was somewhat clean. The shower makes a very annoying, loud, high pitched sound when in use. The rooms are so stuffy that after staying 2 nights I had come down with a cold which ruined the rest of my weekend. I would have opened a window but they were glued shut (fire hazard? ) which was very sad for all the lady bugs that were trapped in the room. When I brought the issue of the forever shut window with the front desk, the woman basically laughed and said she was very sad for the ladybugs… instead of addressing the fact that there was literally a bug infestation (however cute) in their hotel. Would not stay again, would not recommend to a friend.

The hotels amenities were comparatively nice. Its right next to the highway, so thats a plus.

Roy the Manager demonstrated complete lack of customer service and made the statement that "they are in business to make money" This statement was made during the reservation process! On line I accidently reserved the room for the wrong night weeks away from the nights that I need and Roy said too bad and he would not refund my money, so I guess I will have to pay for a room that I will not be staying in! Nice room, a bit small, cleaning ladies, got our room ready quick for us when we came back with a sick grand kid. Room for platnium and gold members good for snacks and soft drinks, nice touch. Easy to get around city from here. Great two nights.

It was hotel or motel. I still wonder. 1st time saw wash basin/sink in room instead of bathroom. Front desk staff particularly the matured gentleman at the time of check in was not courteous. We were in USA for 14 days but had issues in this hotel only. Water from the sink and bathing tub was not draining out — Room No. 324. Engineer came and said it can not be rectified. Front desk did not respond on their own. Contacted them and then shifted to Room No. 322. We stayed from 17th to 21st May, 13.

Last month, my Wife and I stayed at this hotel once again and nothing has changed. The staff was wonderful as before. I was actually surprised to see the same faces as years ago! To me, that means they must love their jobs which leads me to believe the management really takes care of them. The room was a delight. Clean, warm and fresh. Enjoyed the high speed internet which did not lag. My wife needs a high speed connection for her work and she did not get dropped once from her network. Breakfast was great for being free. Lots of options. I full heartily recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Rochester Area.

Zero stars. Front desk took my money, checked me in, and didn't bother to tell me that there was no hot water. When I approached the front desk about this (not being told of this problem), they didn't seem to care. Ridiculous business practice, and I had to go through several phone calls to HIExpress customer service to find anyone that cared. And even then, the offer from them was unsatisfactory. AmEx will gladly dispute the charges for me. Poor form, poor management, and poor follow-up.

I stay here often on business. The staff is friendly and they go the extra mile if you need something. One time an employee actually cleaned the snow off of the cars in the parking lot. They always greet you when coming and going. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable, there is a refrigerator and microwave in the room, and they offer a free breakfast that has a decent selection. Looking forward to the priority club lounge that is being built. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Rude staff! I'm completely appalled by the rude and inconsiderate staff! don't stay here. They'll mock you.

While staying @ this hotel my retainers were thrown away the manager came and searched our room including our personel items to seei f he could find them. He asked us to give him time to go through the laundry the next day which we did and he would make it wright if they did not turn up they did not and then he refused to do anything said NY law covered them for lost or stolen property. New retainers are 600.00 not even a sorry just to bad Lock your doors and put do not disturb on them.
