Upon arrival the lobby was stunning. The staff was amazing and courteous, warm cookies at check in. Top floor view was gorgeous, overlooking the river and bridges. The bathrooms had the cutest towel decorations and the mirror was top notch, felt very spa like. The salt water pool and spa are attached to a state of the art full gym. The water was actually hot in the spa and I loved the larger capacity and lanes in the pool. It was a true delight staying at this hotel.

Good experience, always courteous staff, never any issues. This is definitely my go to hotel for the Binghamton area. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are quiet and cozy. Also a plus, within walking distance of Lost Dog Cafe which is also excellent.

Can't beat the complementary cookie at check-in. Free parking, nice view from the rooms and a reasonable restaurants/bar. Not the greatest view of the gas station or industrial buildings next to it. EV drivers: Tesla super charger only. No other connector types available.

Was very happy with the smooth check in, as I cane in late with no reservations. All staff was courteous and prompt. The restaurant closed at 10pm, but our server let us stay and enjoy our food well past 10pm. Food was amazing and we'll worth the price point. Rooms were quite roomy, beds clean and cozy. Over all a great place to stay and I'll definitely be back.

Clean, luxury hotel rooms. I slept like a baby. I would definately recommend. I registered & checked in here last minute for one night, at around midnight, when I couldn't continue with my trip from NYC to Toronto. Parking is available for hotel guests, of course. It's within/close to downtown. I will return. Breakfast was not included in the rate but I was informed that they do charge extra, starting at $15 if you'd like breakfast. Wifi was speedy. Front desk people were courteous & friendly. I would stay here again.

Great dining service. Very reasonable prices, polite staff, excellent service, nice atmosphere and great quality. Does not quite overlook the water but overall a very enjoyable and comfortable experience.

Very friendly staff, especially Ashley. Restaurant and bar staff very attentive to all patrons. Very clean hotel which can be a rare find. My first visit here and I am impressed.

Stayed here for a conference. Food excellent. Rooms clean and updated. Beds comfortable. Very accommodating with our requests. Only negative was gym had limited hours, hard to fit in work out.

It was excellent, the Double Tree Hotel in Binghamton made me feel valued and very welcomed. There was nothing they could have done to make it better than they didn't already do. A job very well done.

Loved it! One of the best Hilton hotels in the area that I’ve stayed in! Very clean, great view, good food, decent gym and pool. Location is very central too and free parking.

Great hotel! The rooms are really nice. The beds & pillows are really comfortable. They towels & wash cloths and really soft too. The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful too; and they give you warm cookies when you check in. Their bar is really nice!

We went there for a Christmas event and had so much fun! The Hotel was very clean and the staff was very ready for the crowds of people and kids. Our room was spacious and clean. Loved it there.

The check in process was very fast and the staff was friendly and took care of any issue I had. The rooms were tidy, clean and were updated. The hotel also had a restaurant/bar downstairs which is very convenient if your working late at night. The only thing I did not like was the parking lot was located across the street. This wasn't a big deal but the only negative I saw while I was there. Overall, very good price for the room.

Great place to stay. Very hospitable and clean. Pool was small but relaxing and clean. Hot tub was great. Be careful of the breakfast though — not free unless you are a rewards member.

Nice hotel, spotty Wi-Fi. Breakfast buffet is pretty good as well. Regular AND cheesy scrambled eggs. Bar draft selection was all NY beers which was nice to see. I was expecting to see AB products, but was pleasantly surprised. Great proximity to area restaurants, and the two in town breweries.

Attended a Christmas event held by DoubleTree. Employees were pleasant and professional. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Held to the Hilton standard, the DoubleTree exceeds expectations for the personal and professional traveler. Highly recommended.

Amazing. Not only is it a beautiful hotel the Christmas experience that they put on is second to none. Everyone from the assistant general manager, Eddie, to the housemen and maintenance staff that we saw we're very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be planning another trip to stay at this hotel to experience Binghamton and all it has to offer.

Check-in extremely friendly and efficient! Any special requests are taken care of if possible and always with a smile. Our room is always clean and ready for our arrival, including any extra amenities! Room Service is prompt and the food hot and delicious. Especially the Eggs Benedict! To sum up, Everyone who works here makes sure that you are comfortable and have everything that you need. Always a Pleasure to stay here!

I had a great stay here, my first time at this location. The staff was friendly, I got a delicious cookie, and much to my luck, a free room upgrade to a king suite, which was bigger than my last apartment. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot, and the room was clean and quiet. No complaints here, I'd happily stay again.

I've stayed at the DoubleTree in Binghamtona number of times for business. The staff have always been professional and accommodating, the rooms are clean and well maintained. I only wish there was more parking.

The hotel room was clean, the beds comfortable, decorated well. Dinner in the restaurant was not the best. The servers were good. The wait time was very long. I think it was an off night.

One of the best hotels in Binghamton! Recently renovated everything is fresh and clean. The elevators are smooth but can take a long time during peak hours. Rates are high for Binghamton but you're also paying for a higher end hotel. Worth the stay.

Recently remodeled. Restaurant and breakfast buffet are solid. Rooms are clean and we'll appointed. Staff is helpful and courteous. I have stayed here for more than 10 nights and have not had any issues. They also have a full (free) health club with free weights and a lap pool which puts other hotel fitness rooms to shame.

Passing through This was the first leg of our trip to Canada; the room was upgraded and very large and comfortable. Clean, serviceable and well up to Hilton chain standards. The only disappointment that I could raise would be the restaurant; it was a Sunday, and there was only one chef working (so a limited choice menu). As it turned out the choices were beaut, well prepared and served. A great hotel.

Rooms are very large and luxurious. Indoor pool also ust the monkey and the service is also good.

Stayed in hotel on the way to new york from niagara falls, hotel is conveniently located in binghamton downtown. Rooms were large and very clean. I would love to stay in this hotel anytime in future.

We got a very nice and very large suite for an affordable price. When we checked in, we were given a hot cookie and a bottle of water. The beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean.

Went to mothers day event. Awesome. It's looks really nice in there since they took over! Good food at event. Great service. Wish they had smoked salmon though ha!

The service and staff were great, as always. The room was clean and comfortable, but the fridge made an annoying vibration noise and I actually unplugged it in order to get a good night's sleep. I didn't bother to complain since the issue was so easily resolved.

I participated in a fundraising event at the doubletree binghamton. The staff was extremely helpful and very courteous. The event went off perfectly. The wood was great and the drinks plentiful.

The rooms, halls, lobby were all clean and comfortable. Services were great. The only down side was one of the elevators was broken and the buffet was nor available for lunch.

From the moment we walked in and were given hit fresh cookies, to the time we left, we were treated like Kings. Extremely comfortable beds, clean rooms, awesome showers, and really expansive breakfast buffet ($15 but worth it). This is the second time we stayed here and will definitely be back.

Staying on points with my girlfriend for a next day business meeting. Room was top floor suite. One of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was spectacular. Received appropriate Diamond member treatment.

The rooms, food, hotel lobby and fitness center are amazing but the TV sucks in hotel. Over half the channels didn't have signal and the rest had issues with the quality. Otherwise great place, great food super clean and very nice!

I attended a dinner dance on Valentine's day with my husband's Union Retiree event. The event was held in the ball room, it was very nice. The open bar was tended by a banquet server who admitted to being new with tending bar, but was extremely helpful and kind. 100% recommend it for events.

It was a great stay. Accomidations were great. Room size was amazing and friendly staff. Will definately go back again.

The inside of the hotel is beautiful and so clean. Freshly shampooed carpets. Everyone have been so friendly and nice. The bar provides a good time in the later hours.

We attended the firemen's banquet. Social hour was a joke. Veggies & wings… of which they ran out. Meal was awful. Prime rib was raw. And both the meat and the stir fry vegetables were cold. One very small bowl of dressing for salad. Made of mostly oil. Asked for more rolls. Was told they were baking never got any. Asked for coffee while waiting for meal was told we would get after we got our meal. Dessert was awful and we had a master baker as a guest. We need to go back to the McKinley they treated us very well and from the social hour to the dessert was outstanding.

The service was great. Awesome view of the river. Great modern rooms and a great location in the middle of downtown Binghamton.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room and facility was very clean and luxurious. Parking was easy and accessible. My daughter loved the chocolate chip cookies at the desk. Our stay was fabulous and we highly recommend it!

I attended a good friends wedding in September of 2015. Frustrations were apparent from the staff, when they found out that they needed to work late in order to accommodate the wishes of the newly married couple, previously arranged, however not shared to staff, by the person (s) in charge of catering the event. With disruptions in service, rude faces, new mother's in law resorted to moving dessert tables, for lack of staff, etc, I would not recommend this venue to anyone that is expecting top service for top dollar. Couples with low standards will be most comfortable here. I was not impressed at all, as a matter of fact, extremely disappointed and embarrassed for my friends.

Stayed a night and it was a very good. Room was clean and spacious. A good value for the price.

Hotel shuttle wouldn't pick us up cause roads were bad. Waited for taxi 45 minutes then a man doves us to hotel. Hotel wouldn't even give him $20 cause he couldn't print up receipt. Hotel desk personal was mean and snippy.

I spent the weekend at the Doubletree by Hilton in Binghamton NY and the housekeeping was excellent. The housekeeper on the 3rd floor, Amanda C who took care of our room, was very efficient, our room was spotless. We asked for extra coffee for the morning and she didn't hesitate to get us some. The hotel was centrally located so we could walk around town and view the sights. It had a beautiful view of the river and we walked along the river walk and sat in the gazebo located next to the hotel. We enjoyed dinner at the River Bistro in the hotel, food was good and waitress didn't hover, but was available when we needed anything.

After spending eight weeks in a row at Binghamton's DoubleTree, here are my main takeaways: Pros: The gym is surprisingly large and loaded with more than 3x the machinery I was expecting. I was always able to get a good workout in and the equipment was all fairly new. The bartenders were some of the best I've had. Friendly from the start, quick, and always good with recommendations for local entertainment. Creative with their drinks, too. The front desk staff was super nice and speedy with nearly every interaction I had with them. Cons: The internet. I cannot stress this enough — the internet at the DoubleTree was inexcusably poor. Being here for nearly two months left me hoping I could watch some movies via Amazon or Netflix, but the downright abysmal speeds and constant connection errors made this a pipe dream. Getting any real work done via the internet was a joke, too, and virtually impossible via the poor network the DoubleTree provided. While posting this very review I lost connection and had to sign in. The cleaning staff. I hate to complain about something like this, but I would only have housekeeping come by maybe once a week at the most. And they never really cleaned. Sure, I'd get new towels and sheets, but the rest of my room was basically untouched. This was a bit of a pain after a few weeks. No vacuuming? The water.

Nice business class hotel to stay at when traveling in central NY. My hotel room was roomy, clean and comfortable. It is very convenient to lots of bars and restaurants in town.

Clean and pleasant stay! It's close to the Riverwalk, has an above-average fitness facility and pool, and the staff was welcoming. There were some lovely outdoor wedding services going on while we were there, and it looked like they put a lot of effort into that. The on-site breakfast buffet at the River Bistro was lame, and that's why I deducted a star. The maple syrup was fake high fructose corn syrup stuff (it's New York — we make the real stuff right here! ), the pancakes were like corrugated cardboard, the coffee was weak, and the staff was huddled in a corner chatting among themselves most of the time. When it was time to sign the check, no one could find a pen, and they had to ask the other guests to borrow one. No wonder the restaurant was empty on a summer Sunday morning. Stay for the hotel, just go someplace else for breakfast.
