We love the place since the moment we arrived! Clean, lovely patio and grounds,, close to everything. So romantic and cozy! Lovely!

We stayed at Touchstone Inn last year for our honeymoon. The owner was nothing but amazing and the room was perfect! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away in style.

We've stayed here before and the stay and Brad's breakfast was amazing. This time, we came here solely for breakfast (frankly we couldn't really afford $150+ a night to stay + pay for breakfast for two additionally) and we were saddened to see our meal would no longer be prepared by the chef, but aides in training, instead. Though it was nice, it was one course and vegetarian only breakfast for which I thought the $20 was too much for : ( Saddened by my second visit here.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with a Bed and Breakfast! I urge you not to book here! I booked a reservation at the Touchstone Inn, which is listed all over the internet as a Bed and Breakfast (as it is here on Google). As our reservation got close, I sent an email to the owners to let them know that my sister and I are gluten and dairy free in our diet. Brad, the owner wrote me back and said that they had quit making breakfast and had no food acommodations available. I wrote back to him and told him that they should not advertise as a B and B since they don't serve breakfast. After Brad received my email, the day of our planned arrival, he called and spoke with me in a very angry tone, telling me that he was canceling our reservation. This left us scrambling to get a place to stay because we were literally a couple of hours away from Taos and our expected stay at Touchstone Inn. We would have stayed, even though the Inn was incorrectly advertised as a B and B and couldn't believe that they cancelled us because of an email advising that they are incorrectly advertised.

Wolf was a wonderful, welcoming host and a great cook. However, the first room we were placed in had a truly decrepit bed that was very uncomfortable. Both the mattress and box spring were old and sagging. When we discussed this with them, the box spring was swapped out for another that was even worse. When we called Bryn to discuss this, she told us to call Wolf and said she couldn't remember his phone number. Surprising as he seems to be her only employee. Wolf then kindly moved us to another room with Bryn's approval. Unfortunately, our neighbors smoked in their room and the smoke came through the room divider. They were also loud until late at night despite our requests for them to be quiet. Then the long heavy curtain rod pulled out of the wall, almost falling on our heads. Carpet was also old and stained. Our impression is that Wolf is doing the best job he can but Bryn is having him run the place without help.

Thank you for giving us a "Home" during our Christmas Vacation. My family and I stayed 4 nights during the holidays at Touchstone and it was a wonderful experience. The Inn is beautiful and relaxing and our room very clean and comfortable. It was a pleasure getting to know Bren the owner and having the opportunity to visit her private studio. She a great artist and the house is filled with her touch everywhere. Mr. Wolf the innkeeper is also delightful. The Food was great. We'll comeback someday. Jose, Maria Daniel and Diego.

Each room is unique and distinctive. The owners are delightful and the food is fabulous. Anyone who decides to stay will truly enjoy the best of Taos's hospitality.

Everything is lovely at Touchstone. It starts with a unique, historic inn and wildflower garden followed by beautiful views of the mountains, an air of immense creativity demonstrated by the recognized owners (a painter and potter), comfortable beds quaranteed to induce rest, and delicious, healthy breakfasts. We've stayed in numerous bed and breakfast establishments and this is one of the best. Marguerite and Ted Anthony.
