Awesome place, the staff in the harvest buffet is amazing very attentive (Sheryl especially) the crab was amazing and the prime rib was very juicy! I'll definitely come back every Friday!

The show room is the best thing about this place. The buffet is always a hit or miss, especially when they have their order service. Sometimes it seems like they just grabbed whatever was left over and threw it on a plate. The hotel has really nice rooms but the t. V. Never has all the stations that they claim, some channels are just static and others have no volume. Each room has different channels that work. When you request service for the room they take their time, never a priority.

The only reason I give it two stars is because our bed was comfortable. The front desk lady (grey hair) was VERY rude to everybody; I asked her questions and she did not reply she just shouted I NEED FORM OF PAYMENT! I also tried to ask her other questions regarding the price and she said DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT? but never answered my question. The AC in my room wasn't on and I called the front desk; I was told they'd turn it on but never did. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated especially because I chose this place to stay and spend my money on during my birthday weekend.

Very busy all the time great atmosphere and dining hall plus hotel across the lobby with pool and sometimes live music and big Hall's you can rent for weddings or graduations or whatever the need.

The reception desk area smells very strongly of cigarette smoke since it is right at the casino. Our room was clean, quiet, and looked nice, but the mattress was hard and uncomfortable. The air conditioner did not cool the room. We had to open the windows while it was running to cool our room.

The property as a whole has seen a lot of improvements such as the hotel where all the rooms have been redone. The Winners Club is new and modern and the front entrance, hotel reservations desk and gift shop are all new! All in all the Ohkay casino is fresh and exciting. Additionally, the gaming floor has a broad array of games to choose from.

We just went to listen to some bands in the banquet or conference room they have. The most negative thing was the smoke. I think banquet room is smoke free but you could still smell the smoke coming from the casino. They need better ventilation.

Slow check-in. Slow with three guests ahead of me, then couldn't find my pre-paid booking in their computer. Great room: clean, spacious, and well appointed. Good beds. Doors between interconnecting rooms are too thin: guy's telephone conversations in the adjoining room might as well have been broadcast into mine.

We usually just come here for the all you can eat crab legs and buffet. Never been disappointed. Only thing I don't like is that smoking is allowed inside.

Great food and nice clean room. The people are very nice as well. Worth the money.

Ate at the buffet for seafood Sunday. Wish they gave bigger discount for kids as they shouldn't be $20 for a 10 year old. Food was good. Crab legs were fresh when you order them. Service was good as well.

The rooms at Ohkay Casino Resort Hotel were nice and super clean. We've stayed at another Casino Resort about 15 miles south of this one and the cleanliness didn't even come close. Also the house cleaning staff was super friendly. Every single employee that we came in contact with greeted us and asked if there was anything they could help us with. They had reasonable rates and the entertainment they had in the lounge was great. Only recommendation is to try and stay on the third floor. The people who were in the room above us woke up around 6:30 a. M. And made so much noise walking around sounded like they were re arranging the furniture. We would definitely stay here again just on the top floor!

It's was kick ass every day now it's gay now cus the security is up your ass for everything now.

Stayed 2 nights didn't sleep well due to the loud TV next door and second day seemed like they were fighting in same room. Our room was very nice no complaints there, very satisfied. Casino a bit too Smoky.

Always Something, this month (Nov. ) they had two days a week for Fabulous 50's which is good for me and my friend because we are over 65. The machines seldom have a breakdown, the Coyote Cafe serves wonderful food at an affordable price. The Player's Club ladies are especially courteous and helpful. Same for the Cashiers. I always have a good time here even when I lose.

I go to this casino weekly. Friendly service, good machines, good members club offers as well! Smoking and non smoking sections, Starbucks, good food for cheap! Favorite casino in a 50mile radius!

The staff in the coyote Cafe were pretty rude. We asked for knives and had to ask 4 different people. The food was great. The portions were big and the food was great.

Bathrooms need to be upgraded. Usually about two or more stalls are blocked and marked "it off order". Not very clean. Most casinos have self flushing tickets but not this casino. The food in the small diner is ok but most of the tables are usually dirty and you have to ask for sunshine to wipe firm a table. That locals makes you feel as if toy don't belong.

Great music by "tequila rain" drinks are a lil pricey and not quite as stiff as I like 'em and last call is at 1am! :o but we still had a good time.

Went for wedding. Beautiful! Great food. The suite we upgraded to had a horribly hard bed though. And the construction wall protectors in the elevator were creepy, to say the least. Finally, the renovated 'wood' floors echoed a lot.

The cashier at the buffet is the rudest person I've ever seen. Used to love this place seems like it's really gone downhill. But I do see them doing some renovations which would be great. But they really need to get rid of that cashier. Pretty sad that she is your first Contact going into the buffet she spoils your attitude for everybody else. But I look past her food was good service was good. Can't wait to see the new renovations.

This was the creepiest and nastiest place we stayed on our month long travels across the US. First off, they did not have our reservation. The only positive was that the staff worked to find us two rooms and honored the rate that bookingcom had given us, but they had not received anything from the site. We will not ever use this site again. The hotel was in a casino and we knew that, but what we did not expect was how nasty it would be and how freaky. We were scared to leave our room and only did so with another person. The shower was awful. The tub had jets and there was mildew up in the jets. We could see it and only used the shower anyway, but it was nasty. The water pressure was so low that it took forever to bathe and wash hair.

The casino itself is decent and the slots payout enough to make it fun although I've never won a large amount of money here and I don't think anyone ever has. What really grinds my gears who was the buffet they advertise it all over the road leading up to the casino as if it's the most amazing thing ever but then when I walked in it was a little confusing on how you go about paying or sitting yourself. I stood for five minutes as I watched the casino employees walk around pushing in tables wiping down and staring at me and my girlfriend while we waited to be served or seated. After what seemed like five minutes but was probably only really too I decided to walk in and we began to feed ourselves thinking we would just pay on the way out only for the lady who sat there watching us the whole time wiping down the tables to walk up as soon as we walk in and tell me that we needed to pay. Frustrated beyond belief and wanting to cuss this lady out we walked over and began to pay only to turn around and walk out because after my girlfriend had taken a look at what they had to offer for food she was disgusted in no longer had an appetite. Go to the casino if you want to waste time gambling your money and maybe winning it back but if you're looking for decent food McDonald's would be a step up from here.

Lounge. Great Tuesday Karaoke. Dance Floor has a blinding light. Always great music. Hotel, not bad. Ohkay, no pun intended. Buffet is Ohkay. Slots, entertaining. Promotions are pretty good. Service People are fantastic.

Resoundingly average. A few unsavory characters around, though as a large male I don't foresee any problems. Room is clean and not smelly. All staff have been fine.

Nice. Good atmosphere. Games are new. The food is good and inexpensive.

Confusing rewards program & lackluster customer service are the main reasons I won't return. Slots are extremely tight. The staff was apathetic at best and unmotivated to provide even the tiniest effort towards an enjoyable guest experience. They offer first timers $10 in free play but their inability to give customers a clear set of instructions for its use lead many to waste more than the 1 dollar to activate free play. The seafood buffet was a field of landmines with frozen pollock filets, coconut shrimp and crab legs. The crab legs were delicious but the rest of the buffet was barely "phoned in" & looked very unappealing. If you intend on eating your weight in crab and only crab you're in for a treat. Otherwise, don't bother.

We went for the dinner buffet (Friday night is seafood night). The crab legs, shrimp and fish were Awesome. Getting the players card was easy, figuring out how to use it was very confusing.

We ate the buffet and later I became intensely ill. Thankfully my grandmother did not eat the same selections as I, as an illness such as I had could have had dire consequences for a person her age. My mother stated to me as she walked down the hallway to go to the front desk she could hear someone in their room heaving as though they were sick also. My mother reported my situation to front desk and to the kitchen staff but was pretty much just blown off. I contacted management via Email but didn't even recieve a response.

It's a bit run down. The employees are very friendly. They have good machines. They paid out. But the people gambling there were a little sketchy. It's the kind of place you need keep your drink in your hand.

Reviews are MOSTLY terrible… indicative of the care the place has for the GUEST… every thing was mention by all the reviews… caca this and Bad that… most current reviews (2) are 15 days old… rest are MONTH's ago and more… maybe gamblers/guests don't wanna even bother doing a review… (waste of time) No change is gonna come about… me personally. I;m pissed… I could NOT talk to any dept. No matter department I chose… quote — > mail box full … 4 deptmnts duh?

Do not stay here. THEY HAVE BED BUGS! Stayed here because we had work just north of Valarde. Was OK except I got bit all over my body by bed bugs. Management did not care when I told them. Do your self a favor and do not stay here unless you want to be eaten alive by BED BUGS.

The rooms were reasonable, but pretty run down and very noisy didn't get much sleep with the neighbors partying all night.

Well first of all. This is a getaway. For my family and I. The kids enjoy the pool. And my husband and I like to check the casino out. Also the food is great. Especially the crab-legs. Yummy. Come try it out.

This was a fantastic experience. Even though the carpets were beyond repair, the room was beautiful and the staff even better. I would definitely recommend this place to visit.

Love this place. Management was so nice. Very nice Hotel. Everyone was so friendly and curtious. Will defiantly stay again.

Rooms are slightly above average for price. Well kept, and clean. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Did not try room service so I am unable to rate. I did eat in the casino cafe which was excellent if you like authentic New Mexican cuisine! Homemade daily by a very sweet Hispanic lady. Portioned just right to hold you over until your next meal. Priced right, very affordable.

Love the buffet on Saturdays.

The big problem with this casino are the OHKAY OWINGEH tribal police who look for tourists who come out of the casino and ticket them with traffic violations on their way out of the casino just going through town! We found out that the tribal police charge 3 times more for traffic violations and according to the New Mexico State Police, they can MAKE UP THEIR OWN RULES. Beware.

Not a place I would stay at next time. Rooms were hot, beds are hard, scary at night and the internet doesn't work.

The first 5 time staying here. They put us in the very corner room. The rooms are Ok. They need to change the carpets and update the TVs. The bathroom drain was plugged there was no fan in the bathroom. Not a good experience for the cost. Will never stay again.

Bad experience, rented 3 rooms for myself and family due to a death in family. When I got into my room rm 233 I noticed a hole in the wall, hair in the shower, and trash in the trash can. I called the front desk didn't get a name and reported everything wrong. All I asked is that they throw my trash, never happened trash stayed in the hall way the whole night. The next day I got charged $150.00 for the hole in the wall I hope someday whoever made that hole pays for in some other way and God only knows I am telling the truth.

Always enjoy staying here as were passing through, it's fun and the buffet is Amazing. Great food, Good price, friendly service everywhere. Great lighting/security, nice rooms, outdoor pool attached enclosed to resort, I really love it here if I could change one thing it would be the beds, not as comfortable as I like. Overall they get 4 Stars from us.
