Nice staff but security was horrible. Never saw the guy until he accused my 10 yr old niece and I of being loud when we were relaxing. He never went to the room that was loud. Just made accusations. And never even attempted to tell any of the other rooms to lower it down. Felt that he wasn't fully doing his job. Or protecting us from all the drug addicts going room to room. I'll never go back until they remove him and get better security.

Management didn't have compassion for myself as a guest when my dog accidentally locked us out of our room at 11:45 pm. My boyfriend was considered the only registered guest after the day manager issued keys to me and didn't take my ID for our room after we paid for total of 8 days. When night clerk spoke to my boyfriend on the phone he still refused to give me a temporary key to enter our room. My boyfriend had to leave work to get me a key from office his didn't work and then rushed all the way back to work. I feel like we weren't appreciated as customers! We were going to visit rent an additional week but are leaving first thing in the morning. I did all my own housekeeping (my choice) yet staff in office were rude. Maybe they shouldn't have left the light on for us. I was the stubborn one who didn't give up hope on possible friendliness from office staff. I'm done waiting for them to be appreciative for our business .

Not the place to stay when dealing with a family medical crisis. The desk boy David accused me of lying about having paid for the room that my children and husband were in and threatened to call the police on me if I were to approach my room! And the room phones don't work. We came to Albuqeurque for a family medical crisis. My mom was in critical condition at UNMH. My husband, two kids and I had been in motels and on couches for a week. I was staying with my mom at night, sleeping on chairs in the hospital, and going to the hotels early in the morning to sleep. We could not afford to pay both phone bills because of the unexpected expenses. It turned out that the phone inside the hotel did not connect directly to the room as it did before cell phones were prevalent. This caused me problems when trying to communicate with my husband the morning after I stayed in the hospital with my mom. I needed to get to the room to sleep but I didn't know the room number and the room phone connected to the front desk so I couldn't ask my husband. I explained the situation and asked the desk clerk to please phone my husband's room and ask him to call me. He invoked the guest privacy policy as if I asked for information. I explained how badly I needed him to help me because I hadn't slept all night and my husband had no phone. The man said "I cannot harass guests.

Save your money, and get a different motel! Staff was incredibly rude, the amenities were well below average and when we went to check In the clerk was at the desk but the door was locked?! When we knocked he didn't acknowledge us! Highly dissatisfied!

Better functioning than some of the motel6s we stayed at on our trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative was the floor in our room got our socks and feet dirty when walking on it. I also liked it that they had security patrol there.

I reserved the room for my 19-year-old grandson who was traveling back to Arizona from Louisiana. The rooms smelled very badly of cigarettes, there were cigarette burns in the bedspead and the room was very dirty. He had to call me because they were not going to refund the reservation amount. His girlfriend had a bad reaction to the room and had to get medicine. The staff offered to give him a different room but my grandson said the same about the new room. My grandson did not stay in the room but went to Best Western. I am expecting a full refund for this Motel 6 because my grandson did not stay.

The room was clean, cool and cozy. The staff were prompt, helpful and kind. The area was safe, good parking and easy to navigate/locate.

BED BUGS! RUN FROM THIS PLACE! I now have to somehow try to quarantine ALL our families luggage when we get home Not to mention, you won’t sleep unless you buy earplugs, because the expressway is literally 20 feet from the building, so trucks shake the whole building. I am being honest when I say I might have slept for 2 hours total because the highway is so loud. Bed bugs!

I stayed here last weekend in and all went very well! The manager who's name I'm forgetting and front desk staff Angelica and Patrick made things comfortable. Hilda the housekeeper did a amazing job with cleaning! This crew helped my first visit to Albuquerque fantastic and memorable! For a Motel 6, it was a cool experience! Also the shower was nice and warm!

I really like this location the room was very clean and quite stay. The Man that was working was very helpful and pointed out locations in the area that I needed to go, he was very friendly. The ice machine wasn't working other then that great place to stay.

They do not rent in this hotel, they have bedbugs on the mattresses, it is something very unpleasant and the service is very bad.

Asked for a non-smoking room. Bed, pillows, and curtains all reaked of smoke. Floor needed swept and mopped. Toilet tank had mold on the rim. Woke up in the middle of the night to glow-in the — dark arrows and splotches all over the walls, ceiling, and door facings.

I only stopped to pick up a friend coming back, but it was a great experience. Friendly staff, definitely willing to help. Based on that alone I will likely choose this facility for my next hotel need.

Argumentative when I requested an upper floor room with no neighbors so I could rest. The room was clean and smelled good until some jerk below me began smoking in his room just around bed time. The smell came right into my bathroom and I couldn't escape it. There was no fridge and no microwave. The TV was on demo mode and it's language was set to Spanish. The bed was comfy for a change. All in all I loath Motel 6.

I found you on an app for truckers and booked through Hotels 4 Truckers. It said there was truck parking. Nope, not so much. After moving strategical through the parking lot, we managed to park. You should develope the unused land next to it for truck parking. No, not a good stay especially arriving around 2am and tired. But… kudos to the security guard who watched the trucks all night. Give him a raise or something.

The front desk employee was great. Very well mannered and polite. He answered all our question and told us if we anything else to call him. He even told us how to do it from the room. Every day our beds where made and the whole rooms were clean and smelled clean too. I recommend coming back.

Compare to the location off midtown, this location was a lot more comfortable. The minute I walked in and told them my situation, they helped me get a room. The room was clean and comfortable.

I've been in a bunch of hotels and motels and I have to say that the beds are not so comfortable as others (not bad), you have to pay for the Wi-Fi, no breakfast (at least there's some coffee only available at 5 am though) we reserved for four people and they just gave us two towels and just a tiny soup. Nice staff at the front desk. Overall is not that bad but you can find better places for the same price.

It was very easy to get to my room and once I was there I was not disappointed. The room was very neat and clean. I was able to rest and I had a great night, I would recommend this motel to anyone.

The stay would have been nice, however the power was out in the morning and was hard having to take a shower and get ready with no light. I feel that the fee paid for the room included using the electricity and since it wasn't provided regardless of the reason part of the fee should have been returned. I will not do business here again and will bit recommend to anyone.

Well we had booked a non smoking room and got a smoking room, this room was a horrible experience. We informed the office of this and we were told that the rooms were random. My wife suffers from sleep apnea and I'm a service connected veteran. Whenever we travel we always use Motel 6, and have never had such an horrible experience. We asked for a broom as the room's floor was filthy and was told that there was no housekeeping at the time. Also on the second day we ask about housekeeping and was told that we have to ask for the room to be cleaned, also the tub has a hole in it and scratched my foot. I have never been so humiliated by a Motel 6. Next time I'm staying at another motel. Room # 140 Sorry.

Loved the coffee very early in the morning. Tasted great, too. Only negative comment: I was surprised when we returned to our room the evening of our 2nd stay, Our room had not had any service at all. Our used towels were where we left them, and no replacement clean towels for the next morning. I was given clean towels in the office and informed that I should request maid service if I want it. I still can't believe that is Motel 6 policy.

This is a nice 3 star experience. You get what you pay for but this Motel 6 has very nice people that go the extra mile for you. The rooms and grounds were clean, all amenities worked well and the overnight was secure and quiet. On a budget, this is a good choice.

I asked for a non-smoking room… when we got there the room was really stinky! No shampoo or conditioner only 1 tiny bar of soap! The sheets had hairs on them. When we checked out… they charged me $46 dls more than what they had originally told me. The guy at the front office wasnt friendly at all. Will never stay here again.

Nice staff. Room is cool, but I can't breathe. I haven't been able to sleep in this room. It's either an old smoking room or the smoke gets in from other rooms. I need rest! I have to drive over 800 miles with no sleep then to go volunteer for weeks with no sleep likely there either. Ugh.

Your staff and your motel were excellent. I have now stayed with you twice, in two years, and have found the same fine standards in place on both occasions. The receptionist, David, was very helpful and heads-up about everything; he even recommended a great place to have dinner. Your location is excellent for my purposes (proximity to the airport independent of traffic on I-25). Everything was clean, well-functioning and quiet. A great value!

We needed an inexpensive place to lay our heads to sleep for a night. Our room was clean and comfortable. Having a refrigerator would have been a nice addition. The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful and treated us like family! The location of this Motel 6 was very convenient with easy access to the interstate so we intentionally made a reservation to spend a night here on our way home as we knew what to expect.

Very comfortable and the staff was friendly and efficient. Only problem was that the holding on a debit card was sent through as payment. Still waiting for adjustment made as the actual charges were placed on a separate credit card upon arrival. We were assured that the amount debit card would be adjusted and removed. Still awaiting the correction. We have no hesitation to again stay at this location on our next visit if the adjustment comes through as promised.

Modern room, nice. Clean for the most part. Only problem … mosquitoes or perhaps another bug as well. I saw several female mosquitoes, and woke up the next morning with significant bites and swelling on my leg and face. In the two days since, the bites have become infected. Nothing unmanageable. I'd give the property another chance. Nice eight-foot deep pool, a vanishing breed … please don't ever re-do or get rid of your pool! Thank you for your pool!

This is a lousy motel to stay at. No hot water for a shower, Luke warm. Very rude people here. You ask for a smoking room and give you a no smoking room. No coffee in room have to go to front desk to get coffee and only severed from 6 am till 11 am.

This happen on 4 21 2016 in room 127 well lets put this way if u want a bed and want to find some thing that u did not put there in the bed are room befor u walk in the room and drop off your stuff and your moms seeing eye dog and then come back in your room and u sit on the bed were your dog was laying and find something under the coves and u pull the coves back and u see a glass pipe laying there and u call the front desk and they come but get mad and the maid comes says she check the room to make sure it was clean and get mad at my mom and me says we had put it in the room the front desk did not do anything with the crack pipe the the girl found and took with her did not tell any of the other staff about it are did not call the the DM and tell any manager about what we had found in the bed other then move us rooms and did not say sorry to my mom are me other then think that we had put under the blanket so thee for we will not be staying at motel 6 at this location any more that is why I am not give one star if it would let u not put a start I would not gave it any star to this motel so I hope this will help other People to look under the covers be for they sit are lay on the bed are lave there dog in the room.

I was sleeping after a long night of work. Three times had people walk in my room pratically yelling. A big fat lard ass man by the name of Dipshit walked in waking up me and my family up because we were 20 min late on check in, then tried to charge extra for my 16 year old cousin after the day before we had been told he was okay. This place is full of bigots.

Rooms were very nice. Smelled like paint bad. Other than that it was A-Okay.

The room was cold no microwave or refrigerator had to walk around the entire hote to get to my room. I wouldnt stat at this particular motel again and I wouldnt even recommend anyone to stay here.

I would definitely stay again. The room was clean, the water was hot and the heater kept the room comfortable. Michael, front desk, was very professional and prompt. Well worth the cost and the convenience was exactly what I needed.

Great service in alb nm cesar chavez and i=25 nice clean rooms good maitenence personel and very helpfull I will stay again if need.

Property is clean and quiet (in spite of being next to an airport) and convenient for access to the University. Beware however, the staff is required to copy your drivers license and retain it. They could not tell me why, other than it is "company policy". This practice represents an extreme security risk and will prevent me from using Motel 6 in the future. This is the main reason I rated it with so few stars.

Rude housekeeping staff, knocks as they open the door, thankfully I had it latched. Horrible beds (unless you like springs poking you in the back) and cheap hardwood flooring in the rooms (why? ). A/C unit was extremely loud and vibrated irratically which led to me not being able to use it at night, l. The TV in the room is a 15" old school box tv, that had been partially spray painted black, I didn't care about the TV but I thought it was pretty tacky, even for a motel 6. Wasn't my choice to stay here but I definitely won't be back.

Place was OK. Clean enough, quiet enough, staff was friendly but a little spooked by the vibe in Albuquerque. We travel frequently and have yet to take a shine to the town, but it is gaining. Standard Cafe and Popejoy Art Museum both excellent. Will keep trying ABQ because it is right on our schedule.

If I could vote lower I would. Not only a rude check in but a rude aggressive horrible manager who threatened to throw my father in-law in jail for saying the clerk was rude. Do NOT stay here.

This room was the most disgusting room I have ever been in. First bed was covered in blood stains and the second in pubic hair and other mystery items. We finally noticed the stains and mystery items on both beds and when we asked for a refund we were told they couldn't because we had been there for thirty min. The hotel staff lied to us by saying they didn't have the money to refund us and were extremely rude. I've never dealt with people like this that could not make the situation workable for us. Never stay at this trash, disease infected motel.

I chose Motel 6 for all my stays on a trip to video a marching band competition at the University of NM stadium in late Oct. 2013. This one was incredibly close to my job, less than 1/2 mile from the stadium! I found the water pressure a bit weak, come to think of it, but not terribly so. I got enough from the sink to wash hands and brush teeth and just enough from the shower head. Hot water was not a problem and the A/C worked, even though it wasn't exactly A/C season. But it is the SW US. Despite my room being near the freeway, and there being a lot of activity my 2 nights there, and my being a light sleeper, it was quiet enough for me to sleep. I saw the security guard often, so he was on the job. My car's contents were safe, despite a lot of expensive equipment in it! This place has only ONE entrance and it is only accessible coming FROM the I-25 fwy. No median break for turning left from the east. A bit inconvenient, if you're coming from the stadium. But probably helps make it safer than it might be due to such limited access. As long as the rate is not over $39.95, it is a fairly good value, except. My biggest gripe with Motel 6 anywhere is the slowness of the Wi-Fi you usually have to pay extra for and the fact their key cards typically don't work after the first night on a 2-night+ stay, and have to be replaced or re-programmed at the office.

I visit my sister in Roswell, NM once each year and have stayed in this motel one night during each of my last 3 visits because of its location near the airport. The personnel have been very good. During first visit I had a down stairs room. Sleep as interupted for an hour due to some one moving in room above me at 2:00 AM. Very poor sound insulation between floors. During all 3 visits water pressure very low and water temperature barely warm. Wi-Fi available but for added charge. I stay there only because of location. I use a flight that leave at 6:35 AM. The price is cheap but water pressure and temperature improvements should be made to encourage repeat stays.
