Beds could be better and pillows are pancakes, everything else is good right on beach, easy access, they could control the same guy who's here every year playing loud music at the pool, but beside that, we like it.

This is a great place to stay. The family comes every year with about a 25 people.

The cleanliness here is unbelievable… very very clean. Great innkeeper, friendly and helpful. Onsite diner has really good home cooking.

We came to Vila Nova as a group of 7 people to spend a week here. The rooms were in great shape and the pool was always nice and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful any time we needed any assistant. To top everything off we met some great people while staying here. When our time was over no-one wanted to leave. We are definitely making this our summer vacation place, can't wait for next year.

The place is nice and the location is great! Right at the beach, quiet and nice area for families. The pool is a great size, not cold and not too hot. Rooms are nice, equipped with a small kitchen, oven, microwave, pans and pots, and dishes. Staff is nice and very welcoming, the grill area is also very good. Bathroom could be renewed, phone in our room want working, but staff was always very nice and fast to help us. We'rely enjoying our visit here, and much probably will come again.

Right on the beach and good view from outside the room balcony but older bathrooms, so a little rusted and dirty…

For a hotel at the Jersey shore it's not bad. The hotel itself looks a little fun down but the rooms are kept pretty nice and the pool area was really nice as well.

Oceanside, friendly, comfortable! Terrific family owned and operated motel. This was our 22nd consecutive year of staying at the Villa Nova!

Great place, nothing fancy. But inexpensive and clean Have been coming here since I was born with my whole family (30 or so years) — look forward to it every year. Pool is great, shuffleboard is nice and relaxing, right on the beach. Attached coffee shop is about the same, nothing fancy, but clean and inexpensive.

I was a first time visitor, without reservations and got the last room available. Had arrived on a Friday evening and was told I had to stay two nights, only originally planned on staying one night. Was very happy that we had two nights there… no regrets. At peak season with no reservations, the price was higher than I wanted to pay… should have planned it better. Online price is 150/I paid 210 per night. : (The room was an efficiency, which was nice. It had a kitchenette (no coffee pot, though), comfortable beds, and it had the older charm of the earlier days. I liked that. Our room was within 30 feet of the beach, which was great! I didn't swim in the pool, but my wife did. It was heated, and she loved it. It was a family atmosphere, and even had picnic tables and a grill, and shuffle board, sliding board in the pool and it had a separated area for toddlers to keep them in the shallow end of the pool, what a great idea. See picture in the review below ours… The owner was in the lobby as we were checking out. She was SO friendly, we sat and talked to Joann (her husband, Harold was busy behind the desk) … and she even gave my wife a hug and a kiss on the cheek when we left. I would definitely stay here again… may make it a tradition. But will go online to book, to save some $. One more thing, it has a restaurant on the side of the motel which serves a great breakfast and also serves lunch… the employees there were very nice and very accommodating.

We love this place. The Villa Nova … Joann and Harold are family to us. Gayle is a good guy, always asking if you need anything. This is our place at the beach at least once a year. The rooms are clean, and you get to the beach right outside your door.

I love this place. Come back every year! Huge rooms, super friendly staff and the best location on the beach. The diner is delicious.

Everything is great except the Wi-fi.

For me, the Villa Nova is all about one thing: location. Located directly on the beach in Wildwood Crest, this motel is definitely on the smaller side and not much has changed since my family stayed here every summer back in the 80s/90s, but you can't beat the fact that they have 6 rooms facing the beach and the sand is just a few steps away from every other room. The rooms, themselves, really are pretty utilitarian, with bathrooms a little on the small side and plastic chairs on the balconies, but you can't beat the price and the staff was very friendly. Perfect place to crash with the family during an impromptu weekend trip to the beach.
