Really wanted to love it but. Both outlets by clock didn’t work …. There was a gross mark behind bed I saw. Caulking in tub is discolored and a piece missing. TV froze constantly…. Really disappointed.

It's beautiful outside and in the Lobby but our room smells like a wet dog is in here! They gave us some spray but it wore off very quickly. For a 4‐Star hotel I would expect squeaky clean and updated rooms! The curtains are dingy and the shades are gross and broken. The bathroom door has been "fixed" with putty and same with a spot in the wall. The carpet has wet spots and is damp (and we are on an upper floor)! I am sadly not impressed. It is in a historical neighborhood lots to see and do if we had time tho.

Definitely enjoyed the Warwick. Have seen it many times in Philly and finally got the opportunity to stay there. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Love the neighborhood, and the staff was great too. And no in the picture that’s not a dead body I was just super tired from traveling all day and even the floor was comfortable.

Our room had no hot water and not all the lights worked. Was told parking was free with stay but then charged.

I booked a suite for NYE. The room was dirty, dusty. There was so much dirt on the remote that there were crumbs between the buttons. Carpet was stained and torn. The hall hadn’t been vacuumed in quite a while and dirt was visible. I do not see how this hotel is staying clean and safe during the pandemic when it was clear they don’t clean. The shelves in the bathroom had actual dust on them. The heater is so old that it makes a loud noise whenever it turns on, waking us up repeatedly. There was also about 10 people partying between 2 rooms. Guests were hanging out in the hall without masks. I didn’t expect to deal with any of this in an upscale hotel. Unless you need this location, you’d do better at a cheaper hotel. At least you know it’ll be clean. Very disappointed. I have photos and videos but don’t think I can attach to this review. Save money and stay someplace else. This was embarrassing for the money I spent.

The hotel is very nice and clean and they have real good service and two good restaurants to eat at, I really enjoy my stay there this weekend.

Buyer Beware of Hotwire and Warwick Hotel pricing scams… We selected this hotel for $89 on hotwire as a hot rate hotel which WAS a very good deal… Then there was a 29% price increase for taxes bringing our prepaid price to $115. Then the hotel piled on all their additional hidden fees at check-in… Starting with a $75 pet fee for one night in their "Pet Friendly" Hotel that was never mentioned on Hotwire or the hotel's website brought it up to $190. Then there is their $56 parking fee which again was not mentioned in hotwire when booking bringing our grand total from $89 to $246… Given their 176% cost increase from the original price quote I give Hotwire and this hotel 1 star for their undisclosed series of price increase scams…

Horrible room service. We have been waiting over 3 hours for our dinner to come. Nobody seems to care. Completely unacceptable.

My experience was perfect till we got treated like dump by the people who run the valet parking. Some ignorant man thought it wasnt a big deal we waited almost an hour for our vehicle and unfortunately one very un professional employee at front desk took our complaints as trite as well and did nothing.
it took us walking and getting our own car to leave. We were treated like we were wrong for being upset and then racially harrassed. It was truly rediculus!

Rude hotel clerk, told my niece the only reason they could afford this hotel was because they got a discount. The next day another gentleman guided them out the door as they were going into a restaurant, telling them that “You do not not look like you can afford this restaurant. ” He was however helpful by telling cheaper alternatives. The employees at this establishment should learn not to judge people by their appearance. My niece has a birthmark on 1/3 of her face. This birthmark is directly due to the chemicals her father was exposed to while serving over seas in the US Army, as she was conceived soon after he was back on
US soil. She had to put up with bullies in school, it’s a shame your employees felt the need to bully her. Shame on them.

It's so nice to stay somewhere and actually be treated as a GUEST. Grace at the front desk is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She definitely helped us get the most out of our visit to Philly. I highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful room and excellent staff!

Awful service. They lost the key for our car. Told us we must bring it. It was holiday — needed to drive back to NYC to bring backup key. Later found that they found the key — and did not even bother to tell us. … I accepted customer service when ask for compensation.

The suite was spacious and the staff were all wonderful but especially Dave the doorman. He went out of his way to answer all the questions we had about Philadelphia — it was our first visit. We will be back!

Really nice place to stay in Philadelphia. Staff were fantastic, very responsive to requests. Garage staff were awesome, very helpful. It's location is great for exploring the city. Reasonably priced for where it is and the quality of the hotel.

I stayed here for 3 straight weeks, and overall experience is very good. It's more than a 3-star hotel actually, with very nice lobby and rooms. Bed is very comfortable! Most of staff are courteous, and housekeeping is generally thorough, although it would depend on who takes care of your room for the day. It's also at walking distance to a lot of nice places like the Rittenhouse Square park (just a block or two away), restaurants and shopping stores. It's a 12-min walk as well to many offices at Market Street too. I partly feel sad when I finally left, as I fell in love with the hotel and it's surrounding areas.

My husband left his shaver behind at the Warwick. I called the next day, with fairly low expectations that it would be found. When I called, the rep took my name & number and said they’d get back to me… I thought “yeah ok, I won’t hear back and the shaver is a lost cause. ” Two hours later my phone rang, the shaver was found and the Warwick mailed it out the next day. Words don’t express how happy you have made him! Thank you. ☺️

This should be a 3.5 or 4 star hotel. Fabulous staff & location! Great deal at $159. Refrigerator, coffee/espresso in room. The lobby is perfect to hang out and feel like you’re IN the action. Great restaurant and bar. Separate deli/coffee shop. Cold infused water in the lobby. The minute we pulled up valet was ready to load up his cart (without making us feel rushed). We were upgraded to a Suite with a separate seating area. The maid saw us getting settled and brought us more water, coffee. Steve, the concierge, was superb. He made arrangements for us at dinner around the corner, big bus. Rittenhouse Square is around the corner — a perfect park to peoplewatch local artists, families, pets. Felt V safe at night. Will definitely stay at The Warwick again.

Fantastic location. Classic charm with modern amenities. Two terrific restaurant bars on premises but there are dozens more within walking distance. Service was friendly and efficient. The concierge, Steve, was terriiffic, going above and beyond getting soaked calling a cab while continuing to give us tips on enhancing our brief stay. Our room was huge and comfortable. Will definitely return.

Great place, clean modern rooms with nice beds. Front desk people are nice and helpful. Best part of my one night stay was the amazing and wonderful valet people in the self parking garage. Amazing guys with great sense of humor. Helped us with detailed directions. I’d love if the hotel would help them out and put fans in the garage. Super hot working conditions that seem to be very unhealthy. That would be just lovely because they are working so hard and are sweating in that oven of a garage.

Loved this well-situated hotel in Center City. So many great restaurants, museums and shopping in very close proximity. Not only is the lobby totally Instagramable, the property brings modernity to history and the staff is great. Breakfast at the Cape Cod feeling Bluestone Lane Cafe was delicious and my room was comfy and tech-ready. Really great value even with valet parking at $50 (best option). Stay here.

If you are hosting a meeting it's a great location but not so great for personal stay. I used to stay here in the past when visiting Philadelphia because it was easy to get to the Market street shops by car or walking without being in the middle of everything. But now I may have to find a new hotel for personal travel. I wasn't impressed with my room and it was a Jr Suite. The size was great but it wasn't plush enough and it was located next to a service door so staff would slam the door and my room would actually shake. Do not stay in room 510. This a happened all night and I could not get a good night's sleep. I would have mentioned to the front desk but the woman on duty the night of Friday May 25th treated me as if I were a bother for just asking to valet my car. So bummed I loved this place. Don't be fooled by the lobby the service and guest rooms don't live up to it.

My room was spectacular! Comfortable and clean. Great city views from the 11th floor. My favorite pizza place is within steps of the hotel. Friendly staff from all walks of life. I plan on staying at The Warwick again in the future!

Old hotel near Rittenhouse Square. Rooms are good sized. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom was tiny. The complimentary drinks in the evening were good. Nice selection of snacks. Breakfast the next day was not that good. Scrambled eggs that were underdone. Sausage that may or may not have been fully cooked. They ran out of regular coffee so I tried to use an espresso machine they had. After 10 minutes I gave up. Also, they do not have keurig in the rooms. It was another brand of coffee maker that I was not familiar with and there were no instructions. Valet parking is high. $53.00 for the night.

The room was lovely and surprisingly large. Very comfortable beds, first class service, from greeting to departure. It was very quiet, so we got restful sleep. I would love to stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at the Warwick this weekend and had a very positive experience. There is lots to see and do (and great restaurants) within a 2-3 mile walk. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. One important comment, Marian, one of the registration desk employees, was particularly helpful and friendly. It’s worthwhile to ask for her when checking in.!

I've stayed at the Warwick twice and I have to say it is the best hotel that I have stayed in — in Philadelphia. It is very clean, has large guest rooms and the most equipped and largest workout room for any hotel. I travel for a living and I've stayed in quite a few. It is centrally located in historic downtown and is walking distance from shopping and dining. I highly recommend this hotel!

I liked everything about this hotel. You have to be temperamental enough to be disappointed with this establishment.

The Warwick Rittenhouse is a beautiful old building. Bell hops are present to help with luggage. The lobby reception area is beautiful and well lit. Complimentary flavored water when you first enter, a nice fireplace and comfortable seating in the lobby. The front desk staff, while polished and professional, have a tendency to be a tad brusque. The hallways to the rooms on the floors I have stayed should get a refresh. The guest rooms are large and beds comfortable. Again, the rooms in which I have stayed could use a refresh; new carpeting and furniture would be nice. The rooms are clean but not as clean as I would like. I am a bit of a stickler when traveling. I do enjoy the complimentary soaps and lotions. I have never dined in either of the hotel’s restaurants so I cannot provide an opinion. The hotel is well situated so it is easy to walk around. All and all, not the best hotel I have ever stayed but the Warwick Rittenhouse is quite acceptable.

From the very start of being screamed at to get out my vehicle and leaving my baby unattended while they navigate a new space for my car in their teeny garage I realized this was a poor choice in hotels. Asking for simple directions like where to check in you are met with “stop bothering me” attitudes as they point to a small corridor. There are Glass doors where you have to state your business. No assistance. No friendly faces. Check in was equally unpleasant. Standing with luggage and an infant with a stroller no help was offered (so glad I brought tipping cash that was completely unnecessary). The elevator s are quick to shut — literally shut on my infant in the stroller. No safeguards in place to open back up. Staff watched — again — no offer of assistance to even hold the elevator button. Requested crib on special accommodations when I made the reservation — no surprise it wasn’t in the room. Slight surprise when it came about a half hour later by a man who just jammed it in the room at me without Even a “hello”. The room was dirtier than expected. There are far better places to stay in Philadelphia.

Good location, comfortable rooms and inviting entrance.

Hotel was okay. Parking was horrible… I opted to take my car to the garage myself so I would only have to pay $44, but they charged me for valet (52). So, I sat and waited to park my car for over an hour, and then they overcharged me. The staff was friendly, the lobby was updated and modern. The rooms were a bit old fashioned. They added modern sinks to the bathroom, which made it feel very small! Also, our bathroom door wouldn't stay shut which was inconveinencing. People who chose valet were waiting 45 minutes or more for their vehicles to arrive back to them. Overall, it is an okay hotel. Is it worth the money? — No, not with the other hotels that are in the area for the same price. That simple.

Location was excellent as it was within walking distance to our chosen entertainment. The check out time was perfect for sleeping in. (12pm). The room was big and modern. The one negative is that the bathroom could have been cleaner. The shower has hair from the previous guest and the tub has red stains on the ledge.

Nice hotel for an overnight stay. Bold lobby. Friendly service though check-in felt rushed. Room was spacious and clean. A towel was missing and had to call for another. Best feature is location near Rittenhouse Square, of course. One could vacation well within a three-block radius.

I was very pleased with the hotel itself. The lobby is very modern & sexy. The rooms are not as stylish but very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. And the location is super central ; a huge plus. I tried to get in touch with the front desk the day of check-in via telephone all day for specific questions about parking & nobody ever answered the hotel phones. I was told their phones were not working that day. Which is fine assuming this is not a regular problem. Overall, I would stay there again if it weren't for one thing in particular. I would not feel my car is safe to leave in the hotels parking garage because my new car was returned to me with a deep scratch stretching across my rear bumper which I didn't see until I got home to my own garage. I'm left to live with it as it isn't worth it for me to file a claim as I don't want my rates to change which for me is an irritation enough to not book a room there again.

My wife and I Have been a multi year repeat customers — Even through all the name changes — but on this the coldest New Years Day ever, they would not allow us to extend our check out a couple of hours forcing us into the bitter cold — I hope they are happy with their Decision because my wife and I will never be back — I hope your greed karma call comes to bite you in the ass — Signed Ex customers, and freezing because of your actions — Kelly & Glyn Jaime … Dear facebookers — there are many hotel options in Philly we highly recommend seeking other hotels since they could care less about they loyalty of your dollar spent!

(pics attached) I rarely write reviews, but this may very well be the worst hotel I have stayed in for several years. First, you should know this is NOT A WARWICK HOTEL. The name is Warwick, but it is not a part of the Warwick chain. I found that out after I was there. Let's take things in order. 1) We were supposed to have a room with a view (their website). We were given a room looking over an alley with dumpsters. We had to have our room changed. That was a bad omen. 2) there was wet blood on the sheets when we went to bed that night (pic). They must not have changed the sheets. They did change them though. 3) There was mold in the shower (pic), (4) the rack was pulling off the wall (pic), (5) the bathroom door did not close all the way, (6) the minibar door was broken, (7) the room was missing trim, (8) the room had very cheap linen that were the wrong size and mismatched, (9) the chair was broken (pic), (10) the bathtub drain was missing a cover and was nasty (pic). It was remarkably bad… I truly cannot overstate this. See the pictures for yourself… really, WET BLOOD ON THE SHEETS! Was friendly, clean, and had an amazing steak restaurant attached. Parking was expensive — self parked (41/night) or valet (54/night). New to Philadelphia so may have just been a thin I wasn't use to. Plenty of shopping, dining, or drinking within walking distance in any direction. Had a great stay.

The first time I stayed here we had a signature King room that was lovely. But this second time, we got a Signature King room that was much smaller, lacked a lot of the niceties of the other room (bigger bathroom, more modern tub/shower, two bathrobes rather than one, better coffeemaker). This room had NO hand soap, 1 broken bed lamp, and the other with a burned out bulb, and a bathroom the size of a closet. What a disappointment! I don't know if it's because I reserved through Amtrak, but I don't think I would try this hotel again, without an assurance that we would have the first kind of Signature King room! Only pluses were nice and helpful staff and convenient parking, comfortable bed (that was the same size in both rooms! )

Very clean quaint hotel in a great part of town. The room was large and clean. A bright comfortable lobby. Valet parking that I can recommend, the hotel is in walking distance of a lot of sites and restaurants and the city is small enough that we used Lyft and left the care where it was. Coffee shop in the lobby was good a little over the top for me but nice.

Awful! My brother booked a 2 bed room for us so we could celebrate Thanksgiving with the family. He paid extra for that room, and they gave it away without a word. I slept on a foldout sofa — which they wouldn't have bothered making if we didn't call down to the front. Oh and did I mention they ran out of blankets? A fancy hotel, that ran out of blankets during Thanksgiving. They found a couple thin sheets for us. To make matters worse, they also charged the wrong card, so I'm now temporarily overdrawn. They refunded us for part of the stay but that was a headache experience. Not to mention occasional rudeness/unresponsiveness from staff. You can do better in Philly, don't settle for this hotel.

Pretty nice hotel. The staff was very friendly. Gave us plenty of recommendations for places to eat and hang out. The downside was the parking. Had to pay over $40 to park at our own hotel for one night.

Beautiful room and the Rittenhouse area is super nice. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. The room was comfy and I really enjoyed the fluffy comforter and the sheets were nice and soft. Walls are well insulated. The parking can get a bit precarious, but have patience it will work out. You could definitely pick this for a nice romantic weekend away or a family trip too.

Our stay was delightful. The room was lovely, sparkling clean. Had a slight problem with the tub draining slowly, but was addressed promptly. Maintenance worked on it quickly and made sure we were not inconvenienced in any way. Lobby is lovely, customer service top notch, and the amenities are great. Within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, historical sites. Highly recommend!

Nice and cozy hotel located in the center of the city. The location is excellent, close to important avenues and in a beautiful historical building. The rooms are welcoming and the attention is first class. The annoying thing is having to make the deposit with the card and it takes quite a while to release it.

The decor was nice. The mattress was very comfortable. Location was good (however the hotels in City Center would have been closer to everything). With that said, I felt more welcomed at several of the hotels where I dined than in this one where I was staying. At other hotels, I was greeted warmly upon entering and attended to. At this one, I it was difficult to get eye contact or acknowledgement upon entering — not the end of the world, just unusual for a 4-star hotel. The walls are thin. I was woken up almost daily by the cleaning/room service cart at 7am. There is a lounge that serves a continental breakfast and snacks, but you ONLY have access to it if you stay on floor 11 or higher, which was rather disappointing and not explained well during booking. The bathtub drain was standing-in-a-few-inches-of-water slow, which staff did resolve when asked. Upon arrival, I thought it was strange that there was only 1 bathrobe for 2 people. On the last night of our stay, they forgot to restock the room with towels, which left 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel for 2 people. I asked the front desk if we could get more. They said they would send them up. Unfortunately, they never arrived.

Great location, nice rooms. We made reservations through Groupon. They didn't show up in the system right away, but it was a quick fix. Loud toilets. The safe can easily be lifted up and is unattached to anything. Research parking before booking!

Rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. Price is good (for downtown Philly). Good location. Complimentary bottled water always wins me over (why don't more hotels do this? ). Hotel staff were very friendly and courteous.

The best way to summarize this hotel is to say that a motel 6 is cleaner, more efficient, and still has customer service. I stayed at this hotel for a work function and numerous colleagues had a variety of issues. First off was that the reserved rooms were not ready by check in time. Some people did not receive their rooms until 9:30 at night. I received my room on time but the room was filthy, had no towels, and the bed had no mattress cover. The bathroom has stains on the shower curtain, hair in the sink and tub, and felt like it had not been mopped in months. When notifying the hotel about all of these issues, there was a total lack of customer service, empathy, and willingness to rectify the situation. I would never stay at this joke of a hotel even if the room was free. Honestly, a Hampton inn is leaps and bounds above this place.

My 4th hotel in 4 days and definitely my favorite. Nice rooms, well maintained. Gracious staff that quickly took care of a guest induced problem (overflowing bathtub above me). They offered me a new room, I said I was fine, just leave me a couple extra towels to mop up, but by the time I returned from a quick dinner, everything was dry and tidy. They took what could have been a frustrating situation and turned it into a moment of delight!

The hotel is very nice. The decor in the lobby, hallways, and room give it a boutique vibe. We are in a club level reservation so we receive free Continental breakfast each morning which is okay. Staff in lounge area leaves a bit to be desired attitude-wise. In the room, most things are great. Bed itself is comfy and the room is clean though missing a room safe. The bathroom was a little dirty upon check in-hairs on shower curtain and side of tub. The bathroom is also in a bit of disrepair which makes it feel even dirtier than it is: stains on wall and floor, pitted tiles on floor, very little water comes out of the shower head, toilet is VERY VERY loud and squeals when it fills. Overall I am satisfied with the room and hotel but think more attention could be paid to cleanliness and upkeep. I would still probably stay again.

Good location and nice comfortable room.

I loved it here! Husband and I enjoyed a nice weekend here… It was clean, we had a nice view and the staff was nice. Amenities were fabulous. We had access to the Lounge, it was so nice! We attended the cocktail hour and the continental breakfast there. Again, staff was top notch and the food was good. I'd recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel I thought the lobby was very plush, room had everything we wanted, had breakfast both days of our stay, there was plenty to choose from, really liked the prime rib restaurant on the ground floor the steaks were like no other I have ever eaten they literally melted in your mouth, the service was also very good and surroundings lovely as was the pernest playing while we ate our meal.

This hotel is very stylish and boutique. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, the shower was good, everything was clean. The hotel is at the heart of the old town as we would like it to be. As a tourist you can't get a better location than this hotel. The Wi-Fi is free and very nice.

Nice location. Very pleasant staff. Nice lobby and rooms are recently renovated. Have stayed in different rooms in different seasons but have never encountered a fully functional air conditioner in any of them, though the hallways are very well cooled by contrast. The bathrooms lack privacy from other buildings and have no ventilation of any kind. If you get one with a window you can actually reach to crack open for air you will be regaled with loading dock arias and you might also enjoy the smell of exhaust from the city. The good is very good here, but the bad is puzzling. We used a parking garage across the street instead of the hotel garage and had no trouble.

On the plus side, it's in a relatively nice, walkable part of Philadelphia. But that's the only plus. The bed is a concrete block. The thin mesh that suffices for the window curtain in the bathroom can plainly be seen through, and it doesn't matter if you're on a high floor, because you can see through the windows of the buildings nearby. So bathroom privacy's a concern. You can hear everyone in the rooms next to you as well as across the hall. The service varies wildly in attentiveness, but not in cost. This hotel will gouge you on absolutely everything, from $40/night valet parking ($34 if you park yourself) to its overpriced restaurants, where it's pure chance that dictates whether your waiter/waitress knows what an allergen is. And while I know room service can be pricey, $22 for a salad is a bit extreme. Also, if a lot of people on your floor get room service, be aware it's only picked up once per day, around 2pm or so. This can leave certain odors in the hallway that you might not find pleasant, and I'd worry about the long-term implications about insects. One last parting shot: I'd have been happy to complain to the manager about the various problems at this hotel, but when I checked out, I was basically told to hand in my room keys, take my receipt, and leave. The usual question of, "How did you enjoy your stay? " was never said, and the concierge honestly probably didn't care about that, anyway. It was merely, "Okay, thanks, here's your receipt. Next.

The rooms was very clean and beautiful bed was comfortable and the food and room service was good and delicious.

Nice Renovation to Higher Class Radisson Blue This is our 2nd stay at this Radisson Hotel but they just renovate all the rooms recently so the room we got this time was completely updated with a more modern décor and looked brand new. It is a historic building with a very pleasant looking spacious lobby. We arrived early around noon time; Tracyann checked us in with a great smile and gave us a very spacious room on the 6th Floor without any problem. We liked the new look of the room with a fridge, coffee maker, in room safe and a view of Philadelphia streets. Free in room Wi-Fi internet was reliable and with fair speed. Bed was very comfortable and we slept better than the sleep number bed. There's even a free bottle of water offered in our room that was a nice touch. This Hotel is in a good location and you can walk to many attractions easily such us LOVE Park, City Hall, Chinatown, Rittenhouse square, Reading Terminal Market, many Museums and much more. In fact this beautiful city is very walkable and we enjoyed walking around and visit many attractions just by foot. In general, we would love to recommend this hotel for touring downtown Philly. Stayed June 2013, traveled as a couple.

This is a lovely hotel, conveniently located in the heart of the shopping district. It's incredibly elegant — you'll want to give yourself some free time to just enjoy the spacious lobby, which has two fireplaces and many cushy chairs. It's definitely pricey, but the rooms are luxurious and spacious, so it's worth it.

“Blu Scru” Worst service ever! It started before we arrived, when told our reservation was for a room with one king bed. There were 3 adults in our party, so they suggested we upgrade to a room with 2 queens for add'l $$ — — done. We arrived to find we'd been misinformed — they had no queen beds, only doubles, so we shifted back to a king room and asked for a rollaway, told it would be sent right away. It was 9:30 pm and we were tired, had an early appt. Next morning. At 10 pm, I called about the no-show rollaway, heard person I was speaking with ask someone in background if he was still on break, then she promised me the bed would be sent right up. 10:30 pm, I called the front desk, promised it would be there in 5 minutes. Ten minutes later, the hotel manager called to apologize and offer free b'fast coupons. At 10:45, the bed finally arrived. I could not even look at the person delivering the bed, much less respond to his mechanical apology. Next, the room — small but functional; bland decor. The bathroom HAS NO VENTILATION SYSTEM, just a window. So, if you want to air out the room from a steamy shower or whatever, you have to open the window. We were there in mid-October; it was cold in the bathroom when the window was open. Lobby decor almost comical, trying way too hard. The restaurant staff was CLUELESS and inattentive; food was mediocre at best.

The hotel is very nice. The lounge is impressive, it's well located, close to a bunch of restaurants and the Rittenhouse Square Park. But it didn't have blackout curtains, an the maid didn't make up our room the second day we were there.

I stayed one night in this hotel, lobby was nice, room was clean but the bedside reading light did not work and the coffee machine was broken. Apparently the room coffee is complimentary so no discount for the inconvenience, or vouchers to get coffee from their restaurant area. "Ensure your 100% Satisfaction" is a slogan I saw in numerous places, somehow I left not feeling satisfied, and somehow I do not think I will be going back.

First, be aware that any reviews of this place over a year old are outdated, because it's been renovated and renamed. The results are pretty great given the constraints. This is a historic old hotel, so no matter how cozy and comfy they make your room, the ceiling in the bathroom will always be seven feet. Four stars for the lobby, which wants to be a W hotel. Four stars for the location, and five stars for the room. But six or seven stars for the service, faultless from start to finish. They let me change my reservation late due to a snowstorm. They upgraded me to business, which included happy hour (free snacks and drinks served by the nicest guy in 49 states) and breakfast. When I asked the cleaning lady for an extra bar of soap (mmm — — lemongrass! ) she literally gave me a handful of toiletries. Give these truly nice people a try and you too will be saying, "Hyatt at the Whatvue? ".
