Me and my husband stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and we enjoyed every second of our time spent here. We actually live in the City and just needed a break away from work and our children. The front desk receptionist was amazing❤️ very sweet and very easy to talk to. I actually packed Lysol disinfectant spray and bleach spray to clean down our room once we got there and ended up not even using any of it. You can literally smell the cleanliness in the room (and I inspected every inch of the room) I was super impressed and it made my stay even more comfortable, I felt at ease ❤️ the room was quite with beautiful decor and the bed was super comfy. Parking was convenient, no long walks to and from our car. I felt completely safe. We had to use our key cards to activate the elevators which was sooooo decent and it gave us ease of mind just knowing not just anyone can wander in and out of the hotel. We have 8 children and will be needing more breaks and this is now our go to spot ❤️ Thank you for this awesome experience.

I booked my wedding for Oct of 2020 with Jeby, unfortunately Covid hit & for 6 months we were told that by Oct gets here 150 guest should be able to be inside the venue needless say Randy the banquet manger was very wrong about that! For some reason they believe it’s legal to hold our deposit which I find funny because of their contract states if it’s an act of God or out of human control we’re suppose to get our money back but nope, Randy the GM & Randy the banquet apparently don’t understand their own companies contracts so to make a long story short … we will see the Hilton in court & will smear their discussing, no moral, cold hearted hotel me in the ground! Who do y’all think y’all are to tell ppl to switch their wedding dates?! You didn’t pick my original date & you will not have ANY say on when & where I’ll get married! Oh I got married outside my mothers house & it turned out perfect! My lawyer will be contacting you guys soon as we get back from our honeymoon 10/10/20 without the Hilton! I will NEVER BOOK A HILTON ANYTHING EVER AGAIN!

Ok hotel, not the best location I've stayed at but, a decent place to stay minutes outside of the city. This particular location is quite outdated. I arrived on a Tuesday afternoon. The toilet seat was hardly attached. I called to get it repaired, they were there in minutes! The TV didn't quite work the first half dozen times of off and on, I figured it out. When I asked the "cleaning supervisor" in the Hall about the dirty carpet and stains on the couch, she brushed it off as "the furniture is 13 years old". What a horrible response! At just under $165 per night, these things shouldn't be a question, or a problem. As a hotel that has only suites as rooms, my room was rather small compared to other locations I've stayed at with the same name!

Decent hotel, about 20 minutes outside of Center City Philadelphia. The breakfast is good, and during the week they have an afternoon snack/meal with free beer and wine. The pool is actually next door in the Hilton, and it's small and grungy. The fitness center is also in the Hilton. The hotel staff was friendly. The rooms need some attention. The thermostat didn't work in our room, so it was constantly freezing. One of the toilets had a leak and you could hear it fill every 20-30 minutes, which was enough to disrupt sleep because of how the rooms are setup. I brought this to the attention of the hotel, and they shrugged it off. Don't assume there will be dish soap in your room, and don't expect housekeeping to do any dishes (including loading/unloading the dishwasher).

My family and I enjoyed ourselves. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was delightful. All around great people. Next time I'm in Philly this is where I'm staying.

Stayed one night here. Wonderful front desk staff! We felt at home and since it was a Wed-Thur, they had a complimentary light dinner and a good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

Our go-to get away not far from home. Homewood Suites meets our special needs for both shared and slightly separated spaces. Two rooms allow us separate spaces, but my husband can get to me whenever he needs to. Wonderful, caring staff always eager to help. Amazing Delmonico's restaurant always excellent food and superb service.

Parking is horrible. If you don't want to pull your luggage up a steep incline, don't stay here. Also, every time you have to leave the parking lot you have to stop at the front desk and get the ticket validated and pay $8.00. Moreover, housekeeping did not clean our room on one of the nights we were there. When I called to the desk to inquire, the lady (young, black) was rude. Next time, we will stay at a Marriott brand.

There were a multitude of issues with this hotel. Unlike most hotels, they have you pay for parking and it isn't advertised anywhere on their site so it feels very backhanded to me. Be aware that the higher up you are, the less the internet will work. The breakfast that they serve might as well be rubber. And to top all of it off, the cleaning staff tried to enter the room without knocking or announcing themselves.

I’m stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years. But the last 3 times I have been there has been simply the worst. It was my fiancée birthday. He wanted to do something very simply. Stay in town take some trips to the city very low key. I should have know from the start this was not going to be a pleasant stay. 1st the room was not the best. There was holes in the carpet, the cabinets looked dirty (mind you there was a trash can under the sink that was not emptied so I had to leave it outside so it would not smell). There was holes in the curtains. The bathroom was not better, it looked like the walls were not wiped down. And to top it off there where dead bugs on the window and flying on the ceiling. To make matters worst the check out process so rude. My fiancée wanted to switch the cards from mine to his (he was told he can't because it was advanced purchase) which makes no sense to me if you are still getting the money. But the young lady (who name I didn't get because I was so mad but was not dressed professional to me with purple hair) took his card to pay for the parking. So if he could not switch the card for the room you quickly took it for the parking. Another couple came after us and the check them out & had us standing there looking crazy. So came back & stated something was on her bill incorrectly, and without verify anything took the charge off.

Nice place. Big rooms. Connected to the Hilton. Shared indoor pool. Hot breakfast buffet. Parking is available down the block in a lot for $8 a night or if you can find on street parking. Walking distance to many chain restaurants. Staff was very nice.

Late staff is great but housekeeping need to get there together… I had a housekeeper who talk on the her phone and didn't completely clean and the day staff got mad at me. I couldn't understand it. And call me and said I don't think you're happy here. I said how do know you don't no me to say that it became a big thing. And contacting the Gm wasn't good either. But other then I had a good stay…

Nice rooms. Easy lobby. You can find places to chat. HOWEVER the pool area had green mold/slime/algae on the walls and windows. That was really gross. For all the events & meetings being held there, I hoped it would have been more appointed.

Great place to stay… Jackie gives excellent service she works at night… Toni and Bree at the front during the day awesome… Marlon from the kitchen very very sweet and the cleaning staff awesome as well.

This one is tough. The staff were excellent and the only reason this review is two stars. BUT… Our first room was filthy, so we moved rooms. The second room was missing the mattress from the pull out sofa, so we moved rooms. The third room I found bed bugs, so we definitely moved rooms. The fourth room, now with four exhausted children in tow and almost 11pm seemed fine. Took the following morning, when I found bed bugs. Now we're decontaminating everything that we had in the room so we don't run risk of infesting our house. The staff refunded us our money, and we're very receptive to my criticism and accommodated us as they could. But I'm not staying there again.

My last stay was the worst I had ever experienced with this hotel chain. My room had a foul odor, bathroom and kitchen sinks were clogged, there were dirty linens hanging over my shower, my remote for TV had no batteries, breakfast had to be leftovers with how hard the French toast was and the sausages were dry and the pool is outdated. I wish I could give 5 stars for the hotel staff only, they made sure I was well taken care of too the best of their ability especially Elisha (girl with the purple hair). I hope this location starts to look like the one it's attached to (Hilton).

Very clean rooms, but what really made the stay at the suites was the front desk employees. Very Very helpful in every way made you feel like home. This is the place I will stay whenever I'm in Philadelphia.

This place was amazing! The staff were so sweet and made sure we always had a taxi. Stayed in a suite with a kingsized bed that comfortably housed three people. The kitchen had everything we needed. I will definitely be returning.

Had a great experience. Jackie at the front desk accommodated our needs and gave us good advice on the city. The rooms are spacious and clean. Monday-Thursday they serve free dinner with beer and wine, and breakfast in the mornings. Overall a great experience.

Staff was above and beyond… kind, friendly, and respectful (in town for family funeral). The hotel was clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was lacking, but edible. The parking lot was 1/2 block away. But it wasn't awful. Unless it snowed or rained, then it would have sucked.

I rate it 4 stars due to the fact that some minor housekeeping was overlooked but for the most part the room was clean. The only complaint is the walls are thin and you can heard everything ppl are doing in their rooms and Vice versa. Overall a pleasant stay and I would do again. Few recommendations. Please steam clean the curtains, carpet, couches, chair. The sheets need to be wash daily and thrown out after 90 days. Same with towels. The heating was an issue as well but eventually it got warm by the time I went to sleep. The beds are comfy and clean. I didn’t feel grossed out by the sheets. The bathroom was clean as well. I was impressed how clean the lobby was and saw the cleaning lady vacuuming and deodoriszinf the chairs in the am. So kudos to her. So 4 stars cause 5 would mean it’s perfect. Thank you to the city of Brotherly love for the good night rest. I’ll be back.

We celebrated the New Year 2018 in this hotel. We liked it, more pluses than minuses. The staff is friendly, comfortable location, modern interior. We liked the large spacious rooms, comfortable bed and pillows, but the linen did not look fresh. We took a room with a kitchen, very comfortable. Breakfast very early ends at 9.30. For those who like to sleep, such as me and my youngest son, they will not manage to get there. Therefore, I can not say anything about breakfast. From the hotel there is a paid parking. The site writes a price of $ 5 per night, but for some reason we paid $8 per night. In general, we liked the hotel. If on a regular day the price is lower, we would like to return again.

Staff very nice, friendly, helpful, go extra mile. Room is ok, not much cheaper than the regular Hilton next door's basic rooms. Your pick — nicer room vs kitchenette.

Rooms are kinda dirty… was eating breakfast and saw a roach on the floor and informed a lady that works there. She kinda freaked out and told another worker and she acted as if it was normal… the hotel feels like the bad stepchild of the Hilton next door…

Poor courtesy and approach ability of the front desk! Rooms dont have cutlery. Rooms are not as good as those in Residence Inn. My first time at Homewood but next time will look out for only residence inn.

I'm surprised this is even a Homewood Suites. Without going into a lot of detail I'll just say my room was so gross. Had a room facing the water so I guess that had to do with the bugs all over my window (that was left open when I checked in) but regardless, it was gross, and there were definitely some on the bed because of it. Random noises throughout the night… possibly the AC (which was not even that cold) … Room was set-up very odd and the hotel overall was very small. Staff was unfriendly… Clearly I have nothing good to say about my stay here, hence the 1 star. I'm a "diamond member" (which means absolutely nothing except that I travel a lot) and out of all of my stays, this one was definitely the worst.

The only good thing was the breakfast staff and the food they served. Don't even try and complain because they don't care. No Handicap parking. Many problems with the room. When we asked for at least one nights refund, they laughed in our face. Don't stay here.

Wasn't able to check into our room early. This would be fine because of the check in "policy" but I know of at least 2 different rooms that were given to people AFTER I had tried to check in. Was promised that if a room was available, I would get a call. No call came. Luckily we were able to get ready for the wedding we were going to in a friend's room. I will never be back to this establishment.

Typical Homewood Suites but staff comes across more business-like than hospitable. Workout room is shared with the Hilton. Only 3 treadmills total and one is broken. Breakfast area has very few outlets to plug into; hard to conduct meetings or get work done. Uber drivers have a very hard time finding this location as well. It is nice that you are in walking distance to restaurants, etc.

Very friendly but no perks for Diamond members. Only had coffee cookies which I don't drink coffee. Their breakfasts and social hour are better than most Honewoods.

The dark chocolate, espresso candy bar was a welcome treat after traveling! Rooms could definitely use an upgrade but they were clean. The parking lot was a short walk and $5 per night. I wish they had mentioned that the lot was uncovered at some point during the booking process.

Housekeeping can do a much better job at keeping the place up. However, the front desk staff (management) is very friendly and proactive when addressing the needs of all visitors. They (management) made myself and my family feel at home while we were displaced due to a unfortunate situation.

My family and me came to visit for a week. I stayed in this hotel for the week. I took a few pictures. I should've taken more. I'm going to start that this hotel is affiliated with Hilton so I expected upscale customer service and the most cleanest, nicest rooms I've ever seen. It was connected to a Hilton hotel as well. A couple of other guest mentioned this but I stayed in a smoking room on the 3rd floor. I don't smoke but I didn't mind because it didn't smell like smoke when I walked in. There is peeling wallpaper. The carpet was so nasty my socks was dirty walking around the room, housekeeping just walked in without knocking while me and my boyfriend was asleep. Thank goodness I had the chain on the door. The front desk staff wasn't very friendly. Never said hi or anything as I was walking through the lobby. My mother and fathers room had a roach in it so they moved to another room. Breakfast wasn't very good. They kept making eggs with all these extra ingredients in it. I felt like that wasn't good just in case people don't eat all that, which we didn't. Nothing ever happened to my car but I hated parking in the lot down the street and having to have my ticket validated by front desk to be able to get out for free. Otherwise, it's $5 for parking for each exit. The pool was very cloudy. I don't know if it had a lot of chlorine in the pool but I found it to be a little disturbing I can't see the bottom.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I am not one to complain about much and I surely don't leave bad reviews, unless they are warranted. I had an extended stay at this hotel and had to switch rooms because of BEG BUGS! Now, if they 40+ bites on my arms, neck, back, and fingers weren't enough for you, the fact that I complained and pest control finally looked over my room and had to treat it for bed bugs… should be. They also washed my clothes and they were given back to me brown and purple. None of which were given to them in that condition. The GM… has done NOTHING except accuse me of lying about the condition of my clothing and implying that I brought the bugs with me. Rude, Offensive, and completely inaccurate. If you want to risk this kind of stay, be my guest. If not, I would most definitely look for something else.

We arrived very late on Friday, June 3rd after a somewhat hellish night that included having to relocate from a clearly unsafe no-tell motel we booked online. We found this place nearby and were so relieved to find a clean, safe place to stay with a very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was spacious and comfortable, the free breakfast had a lot of options, and the front desk staff continually impressed us by acting double as concierge when needed. I sincerely thank the front desk staff for all of their help.

Stayed here for a night and liked it for the most part. Room was clean, beds were comfy, and staff was friendly. The only problem? The walls are horribly thin! You can hear everything from the person in the next room taking a leak, to full-on conversations. At one point, my friend heard a guy belching in the room to the left of us. Sort of ruined the ambience. I don't need to feel like our neighbors are in the room with us.

I liked the hotel. Great location to Manayunk (favorite area in Philly) and SJU.

Recently remodeled rooms are good, but the service in the lobby bar is BAD, and it's been like that for years. Weak selection, slow service. I actually saw someone ask to close their tab, and the bartender told them HE COULDN'T FIND THEIR CREDIT CARD! He then asked them to give him another one to charge! And did I mention they're over-priced?

It's a dump, run by lazy employees. The carpets stink and are in dire need of deep steam cleaning, if not replaced all together. The surfaces in the elevators are sticky and unclean. The front desk people, all but one, have awful attitudes.

Great clean comfortable beds and room. Staff was super friendly and had personality. Very refreshing for sure. The complimentary Wi-Fi really sucked though. Probably the only complaint I have. They have other paid for options but I was cheap and chose not to spend the $4.95/day. The area seems safe too. We had heard horror stories about certain parts of Philadelphia and were glad this was safe. This Homewood suites is just a part of the same building as the Hilton so its easy for guests to get confused. It is about 15-20 minutes from downtown Philly where most of the tourist attractions are but the drive was pretty easy. Not a walking distance for sure. The business center was also easy and had couple printers too that we able to print a map and our boarding passes for free. The pool here is actually at the Hilton part of the building. Never used it so couldn't tell you anything about it. No hot tub though. Always have a good time at Homewood suites. Not the cheapest but worth the extra money.
