I wanted a room with a jacuzzi… so I found this place… but the jacuzzis have no jets. Let me start at the beginning. When I went to check in, there was no one at the desk. There is a sign that tells you to ring the doorbell, so I did, but it obviously didn't ring in a place that anyone I needed could hear it. So I walked around until I found a very kind housekeeper, who called a young man on her cell phone who then came and checked me in. I had an early check-in, but the room I was assigned to wasn't ready. He did find me a room, though. It had clearly JUST been finished because when I walked in, the floor, which is tiled everywhere in the room (weird) was soaking wet all the way to the door and I almost slipped (flip flops). The floor itself gave me a "this isn't very homey" vibe… then followed by the plastic-covered mattress (it crunched every time I moved) and the fact that it's very small. You could jump from the bed right into the jacuzzi. Also, the pillows were lumpy and there were strange stains on the sheets. They smelled clean, which is why I didn't complain, but for a hotel, it's really not acceptable. The bathroom area, however, is gorgeous. The lighting isn't great for applying make-up but the shower is beautiful, the area was very clean, the water pressure is fantastic, and there is a ton of counter space, which I appreciate for all my hair products and the like.
