I had a last minute stay here. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. They offered a nice breakfast with a waffle maker. Easy check in and check out.

For the price the room is exactly what you'd expect. It's a no frills room, but it includes everything you need. The beds are alright, the shower is a good size, and there's complimentary breakfast. The breakfast did seem a bit limited in scope, and there wasn't really any sort of protein options, just pastries, toast, bagels, waffles, or cereal.

Discounts for students. Great place for stay. Close to the University.

The staff was polite. The room was clean. For the cost it was a beautiful place. Could've used more pillows though. I had a suite. Perfect for a family visit and cheaper than getting 2 separate rooms.

The location for this hotel was great for my visit to the University of Delaware. The Baymont was sufficient for what I needed, no frills, since I wasn't spending too much time at the hotel anyway.

Location was perfect. Easy to get to and to get back out on 95. Plus there is a TGIFridays right next to it. Room was well laid out. No drawers though. And the last night there the heating and cooling became extremely noisy. Very unpleasant. Wi-Fi is really good.

Room was fine. The other guests were extremely inconsiderate. Kinda felt like an extended stay; kids running and playing in the hallway, arguing adults, rough and abusive parents yelling and hitting their kids, crying children, late night activities, etc. I got absolutely NO REST OR SLEEP. I don't blame the hotel. People are just rude and inconsiderate.

Checked in to the hotel and the first room that was given to me smelt like someone died in it. Second room I got wasn’t any better. It smelt like stale cigarettes and one of the beds bed sheets were crusted and matted to the mattress (got a room with two beds). The employees are polite and nice but I was definitely thinking about checking into the hotel next door.

Rooms are very clean and modern. They are spacious an the Suites have a separate living room area with a pull out sofa for convenience. The Staff is very polite and friendly and The hotel itself is pretty quiet. Would definitely recommend this to families and people traveling for business.

Kinda get what you pay for, and for $99.00 a night you are overpaying. Red Rood at $70.00 cleaner and better maintained. Location is good, people are okay, but the place is a 5/10.

Thin walls, pretty stout bed. Front desk staff really tries — Ushman is terrific. Housekeeping didn't change my sheets, crazy long-term tennant across the hall. Lots of issues.

The hotel is close to the campus and they serve "breakfast" On the plus side, the rooms were very clean.

They say they offer use of a computer, but it's been out of service for at least a year that I know of. Wi-Fi is extremely slow. They ran out of wash clothes when I requested one. The TV's are set on energy saver that can't be adjusted, so the picture is so dark you can hardly see it. The washer stopped in the middle of the wash cycle, so we had to take our wet clothes somewhere else to rewash and dry them. They do not refund your money. If your room is anywhere close to the laundry room and the machines happen to be working, the washer sounds like there's boulders in it. Bang bang bang. Woke me up numerous times. Never received the wakeup call I asked for 2 mornings in a row. On the better side, the waffles are good.

Room was simple and luxurious, bed was abut firm but very quiet sleeping and excellent sized TV for morning shows. I was able to hook up chromecast with a hotspot linked to my computer. Internet speed was about average for the area. Breakfast was healthy and staff were very kind and helpful.

My wife and I of 71 years old were given room just 12 feet across from the breakfast lounge. When checking in at 3 pm doors were closed on the breakfast lounge. When we returned from a family wedding at 11 pm the doors of that breakfast lounge were open and about 20 to 30 people were partying in there. Yelling and running up and down the hallway and in the lounge. I got to sleep about 3:30 or 4 am after they completed their party. The security lock on our door did not work as the lock hit the door frame and would not allow it to secure the door. The vent in the bathroom ceiling fan hummed and as I looked the fan blade was not turning and I could observe several inches of dust on the fan. A sure fire hazard. I did report it to the desk clerk when checking out. My wife and I stayed there many times over the years when visiting family but it has become risky and dangerous. I suggest if you have children to use caution and yourself as well. A fight broke out on the second floor as I was told by another family member staying there. There is no guidance by the management and desk employees for a safe stay for your family. People can do what ever they want there and are left to roam the hallways. Shame, it was a nice place at one time and now it is dangerous. Stay clear of this hotel.

The room is nice but dirty. The bathroom had hair in it and you could tell the bathroom floor hadn’t been mopped. The floor wasn’t vacuumed, plastic fork and spoon on the side of the bed. Overall nice design just need to be turned over better.

Great place to stay. Great price, outstanding service and clean rooms. I highly recommend this place.

Not quite up to expectations in a suite room. Rollaway bed was uncomfortable, no bedside lighting and not quite enough bedding, skimpy on coffee in the room (only 1 regular), wall unit air very loud. Printer in business office out of order. Breakfast unremarkable (although staff very nice). Unlikely to recommend.

Very clean… Great customer service… Affordable. Had a fridge in my room really didnt expect it but was very nice. The shower was amazing once I found out how to adjust the pressure and temperature. The breakfast had a variety. Not the biggest selection ever but a decent variety. Fruit options for those more health conscious… Was no eggs unfortunately. But options for waffles and toast and fruits and cereals etc. For how little I paid it was by far one of the nicest hotels I've had the pleasure of staying at for a one night stay. And I've stayed at many well known places I feel really wasn't even as nice as the room we got at Baymont. Was very very happy.

I'd put this 2 Star hotel in the top 30 percentile of hotels in the Newark/Christiana, DE. Nothing special but can expect a clean room with current modest amenities and a descent continental bfast.

I stayed there for 4 nights. It was not bad. The room was clean and seems freshly remodeled. Was missing shampoo and coffe tray in my room's coffe machine, but it was taken care of the next morning. Housekeeping was very good — my bed was fixed daily, towels replaced, trash taken out. Free simple breakfast, free parking, small gym. Right across the street from Delaware university.

The hotel had a very comfortable king bed. Room was clean and staff polite and helpful. Nothing fancy but it was the best hotel I have been in for this price range.

Omg! After a crazy, hectic and finally disappointing day trying to get a flight out to my destination, we stayed the night here. It was so nice and relaxing! The room was clean and fresh. The bed was sloop comfortable! I went to the fitness center the next morning and had enough room to do almost 2 hours of Zumba (relieving stress from my 3 crazy kids and husband who were with me. ) FREE breakfast saved us some money. Plus our military discount… nothing but love for the staff too, who were working there too! Super friendly. Just what I and we as a family needed. Getting back on the road feeling refreshed and ready to try again for our desired flight.

This place is very nice, the front desk agent Tanya went above and beyond for my stay and was awesome in checking me in. The beds are comfortable and the decor super modern. The only issue I had was no pool! But the place is so nice that it is still worth the stay! I will stay again!

Staff was very friendly, however the building is a bit dated. Rooms are a bit small but surprisingly comfortable considering the appearance of the rest of the hotel. To be fair to them it does appear they are in the process of a refresh or remodel, so all of the previous may become invalid I think the near future. They do include breakfast, however we did not take advantage because my daughter has a gluten allergy and Lal they had was waffles (which looked really good), breads/muffins, and cereal. Overall it's a decent place for the price in a good location and has potential if they really are working to freshen it up a bit.

Nice little hotel. Rooms could be kept cleaner, but it served our purposes of an overnight stay. Nice breakfast spread. Free Wi-Fi. Ample parking. Good overall place. Would recommend.

This place was lousy. It was dirty. The rug in the lobby was disgusting. There was only one person at the desk and she couldn't leave that post for any reason — not to get us a pillow, or to check on anything because the hotel is too cheap to have two workers there at any time. It was absurd. On top of all this, when I got home there was an extra $250 charge put on two days after we left. When I called to complain, they said a NIGHTSTAND was missing! Yeah, really. Just what I always wanted — a used nightstand from a dirty hotel. This hotel is a bit cheaper than the two right next door. Do yourself a favor, pay the extra few dollars and stay elsewhere.

It is a very nice hotel and the people working in the hotel are very nice.

This place needs to be landscaped badly. Some woman kept walking around the parking lot talking to her self and moving sticks and branches around. All through the night it was impossible to get any rest reason being loud music being played all-night long.

Great service, friendly staff. Not the newest hotel but the price was reasonable. The parking lot seemed a little shady. Could benefit from additional lighting on the back side of the parking lot.

Rooms were nice. Manager on pm duty was awesome. Customer service was very good.

I think that Newark Delaware is a pretty cool guy. Ti is reasonably priced and doesn't afraid of anybody.

Clean beds. Nice room. Nothing special. Good value.

The king size suite lacked bathtub.
