Rude staff, was given twin bed for a queen bed when I requested 2 double bed. When asked to change the room, I was told to call Expedia — Call who?, For what?. Do yourself a favor, book a better hotel somewhere else.

Good front service. Room cleaning leaves something to be desired. Nothing disgusting, but I did find used coffee in the maker.

Stayed one night & couldn't wait to check out. The non-smoking room smells like some just smoked a pack of cigarettes. Nice staff, but fell short on cleaning. Best part was checking out early the next morning.

Service was great. Everyone was very friendly. The room was, meh. Bed was clean and comfy but the room wasn't very clean. The headboard had fingerprints all over it and stuff sprayed. There was stuff all over the walls in the bathroom. It was mostly clean looking but you would find places that need a good scrub. And it looked like a bag of drug paraphernalia outside the window on the roof.

We stayed at this hotel while attending our son's graduation. The room was definitely not worth the inflated price of $90 per night because of the special event. I would even say it is not worth the $68 per night standard rate. The sheets were stained as were the bed covers, there was something dangling from the ceiling over one of the beds, some of the outlets didn't work, or were loose and coming out of the light fixtures, there was gum stuck to the carpeting, we found a used pair of socks and a lighter left in one of the dresser drawers on which the handle was broken, and the microwave did not work correctly. In the bathroom the tub was stained, the shower curtain was stained, the toilet paper dispenser was hanging out of the wall, the hair dryer was slimy and did not work, it had a burned out light bulb in the light fixture, and the lock on the bathroom door didn't work. Overall the place was very dirty, we would never recommend it to anyone.

Really poor experience. I stayed here because my flight was delayed at the airport and I couldn’t catch another one until morning. The room was dirty, visible dripping stains on the walls, dried crusty stuff on the lamp, and at least two kinds of mold on he bathtub shower curtain. The shuttle driver who took me the the airport in the morning was wonderful. The evening one took 50 minutes to arrive. I was apprised he was “on his way” when I called and it would be 10 minutes. When he arrived we had two vacant spaces in the van. He was advised by another guest that there were openings. A young man ran up asking if this was the Chester location for Days Inn and that he had been waiting over and hour and was told the van was full. It wasn’t full. The other lady said, “I have two spaces by me in the back. ” The driver replied, “I didn’t like his attitude. He can wait for the next shuttle. ” He also made a personal call while transporting us and told the caller he loved her at least twice. I was appalled. The room was dirty. No one was available for check out. Even when the shuttle driver called the front desk he could not reach her. I asked for a print out receipt when I checked in and was told to get it at check out in the morning. No one was around to check me out. Nor could I find anyone.

Go to check in… gave the gentleman my name, in doing so HE reiterated the room type to which I replied yes… he said he didn't have it, said wait a minute, then surprisingly he said he did… So I get to the room, it was NOT ready… Let's go over what would make it NOT ready… On the bright side, the beds were made and there were towels… NO soap (not even a single tiny hand soap), no shampoos, no basic toiletry items other than toilet paper but nothing to even wash my hands with… Had housekeeping done their job, perhaps the ice cream left in the dirty mini fridge and the onion rings that were left in the microwave might have been removed and both appliances made to look serviceable, I may have used them… We're not even going to get into the metal post sticking out under the bed where I banged my shin… The best part of this place was leaving to go anywhere else in the city… Not going to mention the newspaper delivery… because that didn't happen either.

We enjoyed the most peaceful, quiet night away from home in years at days inn Chester. It's a wonderful facility, bright, clean and beautifully decorated. The coffee is excellent, The complementary breakfast was delicious, I will definitely return. Thanks!

This is my go-to spot in Chester. Check-in is usually quick and easy, the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Rooms are nice big, clean and not cramped at all and I've always enjoyed a quiet stay. Great location with a good restaurant.

This is the worst place ever. The front desk staff was great, no complaints there. Every thing else was just terrible. I tried checking in after being up for 20hrs. I had to be moved to 3 different rooms because they all was dirty or had something wrong with them. Then one room I guess the TV stand wasn't leveled so someone folded two pieces of paper and put them on each end, very tacky. I asked for a non smoking room and the spread had cigarette burns in it. This was just the absolute worst place ever.

Excellent service at an unbeatable price… The staff was kind and courteous as well as generous and understanding. I cannot overstate how pleased I am with my stay. This Days Inn gave me a great week of rest. Thank you!

Scary however rated a 2 star because of the 5 star breakfast resteraunt attached.

Its a quiet atmosphere if you just looking to get away! The tub wasnt properly cleaned out. Upon entering my room the room was cold and took almost 2 hours to heat up! Even tho the web site says Free continental breakfast they DO NOT HAVE FREE BREAKFAST! There is however a dinner on the side of the restaurant!

Remodeled Hotel. Rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful and nice. Van is always on time and go out of way to help you. There is a restaurant attached to restaurant and a 7 eleven a short walk from hotel. Prices are always perfect. I’ve stayed here multiple times and have never seen any bed bugs. I always check my rooms before I do anything. Recommend to any crew members.

Worst hotel I've ever been to. This place has bed bugs and they have them bad. I stayed there and was bitten so bad by bed bugs that I had to go to the emergency hospital. After I left the hospital I went to see the manager but, he "wasn't available" and still have yet to get a response from him (Paul). I have called and emailed the property manager but, still haven't gotten a call back or anything. I called Wyndham directly, but, because this property is a franchise they tell me they can't do anything. Now I have a hospital that I have to pay for which I shouldn't and now am extremely paranoid when I'm in ANY hotel because of this horrendous experience. If you are looking for a hotel PLEASE RUN FAR AWAY from this place. They do not value you as a customer. Worst hotel ever. Do not stay here!

Absolutely unacceptable. Booked a king room for non smoking. Paid for the room. However when I arrived they had sold all rooms and only had smoking available. Front desk clerk said there was nothing he could do and proceeded to cancel my reservation. Completely unacceptable. Ended up taking shuttle to airport and sleeping there.

The first room I had, on the sixth floor, had mice in it. I was moved to another room that didn't have mice, just a lingering fly. Breakfast is only cereal, fruit, toast, and maybe a bagel. The Front desk staff is kind enough, however; I wouldn't stay here again.

Nasty. Nasty. Broken down miserable hotel. Was sent there by airline when stranded in Philadelphia overnight. Dangerous driver in old smelly shuttle van shod been first clue. It got worse. Much worse. Should have stayed on a cot in the airport. It would have been cleaner and safer.

This was one of the better hotels during my trip. The room was clean. The location of the hotel is good. There's a 711 nearby. The breakfast was decent. Nothing to complain about.

Terrible experience… The room smelled even though my family and I got a non smoking room. The hotel TV fized in and out the whole time. The staff was extremely rude. Also do not expect that "Free" breakfast! I woke up very early and walked to the food hall at 6 AM. The front desk snapped at me saying I missed the breakfast. When I looked into the dining room there was no evidence that they even bothered setting anything up! They lied to us… I'm going to be honest, if you're not absolutely desperate for a place to stay pay the extra money and go somewhere else. I hope management fixes these problems immediately.

This hotel is fine but not in a good area. I did not feel safe in the least, not even to go inside and cancel my room. I called from my car to cancel and the woman who picked up (sounded like Yalda) was extremely friendly and kind about me not wanting to keep the reservation, so thank you for that. I STRONGLY do not recommend this area to women traveling alone.

I was told I could check in my room at 8 AM for my two night stay in a non-smoking room. I am a night shift nurse so I stay at hotels for the day time. When I arrived I was told it would be an hour wait. I ended up waiting two hours at which point I should have left. They told me my room was ready and after signing in they said it was a smoking room but they would give me a non-smoking room in the morning. I agreed and went to my room. It smelled terrible, which I expected. What I did not expect was food under the beds. Cereal, candy wrappers, and a few unidentifiable things. The room was dirty and disgusting. I did not see any bugs and decided I could stick it out for a few hours. When I left in the evening I reminded them about a non-smoking room in the morning. They told me I would not be able to check in until 12 if I want a new room. Even though I originally booked a non smoking room. I got a refund for the second night I paid for and got out of there. Only giving two stars because the staff was friendly. I will never stay here again and would not recommend it.

Feels more like a motel. When there the hotel was doing some sort of renovation didn't even know that the place was open for customers because there was nobody at the front desk and the rooms in the lobby were mainly under construction. Called the front desk ask if they had a pool they gladly replied we sure do. Went to a dank dark pissy basement only to discover that the pool door was blacked out and and under construction sign was hanging. Way to mislead exclamation point.

Days Inn Chester is a decent hotel in Chester PA. Not that far from the airport and offers a free shuttle to and from. The rooms are comfortable and cozy with refrigerator coffee maker and microwave. The have nice desk work areas and quaint clean bathrooms. If you are looking for a destination close to downtown Philadelphia this is not the hotel but for the price it definitely is worth the money.

The hotel staff is very nice. The hotel itself is very dated and the rooms are usually not super clean. They have a convenient airport shuttle. Fitness center is very small.

The hotel is in the midst of a remodel so this may change however it was in a state of disrepair. A combination of old falling plaster and new fresh paint. Despite the construction and mess the place was clean.

The rooms are in dire need of remodeling, there are huge tear out marks on walls. Front desk could use some work. Location wise, the only good thing is it's near the airport — diner not functioning and no breakfast.

My room was clean. I'm very satisfied with the hotel and would recommend it to a visitor.

Hotel has no breakfast and under repair. The fitness facility is very nice though and the rooms are in great shape.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. I was put here at the suggestion of AA when my flight was cancelled. There was pubic hair in my bed! The sheets had BLOOD on them. The sheets were yellow and stained! AND, the building caught fire while I was sleeping — — smoke everywhere in the hallways. This hotel should be SHUT DOWN.

I pay a cheap airline employee rate here occasionally just to lay my head down for a few hours before a work trip. All I ask for is clean sheets and pillowcases. Each time I've stayed here the pillowcases and sheets have obviously not been changed in days. Stains, including urine, dried up toothpaste and hair in the sink, coffee spills dried up on furniture. Never again.

This place is disgusting they have roaches, housekeeping is not doing a proper job cleaning. Im a housekeeper with another hotel n I clean this place better then alibaba does.

PLEASE READ! Run as fast as you can away from this hotel it's horrific we figured it would be out dated because it was 100 a night for two adults let me start with when we walked in so when we walked into the room we were welcomed by a giant stain on the floor and the smell of smog we should have walked away then but we're broke kids going to a hockey tournament for 2 days so thanks god I brought febreze a whole can and a half of that and a air purifier later we figured alright we will make it work were just staying for two days then we looked at the bed and were welcomed by stains from I don't even want to know what the mini coffee machine filter was used as a ash tray the cabinets have stains in them the outlets looked burned and my charger wouldn't fit in it the av unit looked like it was about to fall off the wall literally the floor looked like no one vacuumed in a month the windows and smudges on them the toilet had smudges also the shower head was cased in build up but then at 2 am I went to pee and walllaaahhh the cockroaches decided to have a tea party on the bathroom floor then I had a break down its 4am now I'm tired and wanted to paint a picture for every one who ever thought they would want to go to this hotel and sorry for the lack of proper punctuation I'm in the middle of a **** storm at 4am.

On Friday 9/4/2015 a couple of friends and I arrived at the hotel around 9pm. Around 2am we became itchy and got up to check the bed and realized there was a massive bed bug infestation. We quickly changed our cloths and put them in separate bags, packed out belongings and left. The hotel manager was reluctant to reimburse us for that night until he went to check the room himself. The manager was not remorseful or surprised really that he had found bed bugs but in the end did pay us back in full.

My husband and I stayed for one night… The room was horrible… The bathroom was filthy… the drains were slow running… there was a beyond filthy chair in the room… the carpet was disgusting… the room smelled terrible… We cut our trip short and ran home… VERY DISAPPOINTED…

Beyond awful. American airlines, shame on them, put me up here after a delay caused me to miss my connection. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in, from mould to filth to awful stains on the mattress. Avoid like the plague as you might catch the plague staying here. A/c didn't work so had to sleep with the window open, door card reader didn't work so reception had to let me back into my room each time. Area is shady as hell.

I have to write my horrifing experience on 3/14 to 3/15 in room 713. It starts with getting misquoted the room cost. We were told 69.00 and it wound up to 98 because we had 4 adults. And I get it. More towels and linen and coffee etc. But that was the horrifing problems. To begin with,, the carpet appeared that it wasn't vacuumed with crumbs and by the night stand, was a pair of filthy Philly Flyers work gloves on the floor. The bathroom was not properly cleaned. Soap scum in the sink and the bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned for quite sometime. Now, we had 4 adults and towels enough for two. Called the front office and was told it would be 30 minutes for the clerk to bring us the towels. Only one there and had no time to help. We got them ourselves. We had to clean up and get to bed. Now to the horrifing part, pulled down the sheets on one bed and discovered fresh SEMEN stain on the bottom sheets. Yes I said semen. I threw them out in the hall with the gloves and took pictures. Called the front desk again and said somebody has to deliver fresh sheets and remake the bed. Only to be told once again to come down and get the sheets and make the bed yourselves. Really! You can only afford two employees — the driver and a deskclerk? The coffee pot was visablly broken and exploded when we tryed to make it. The Cable TV reception was snowy.

This is the nasty of nastiest hotels ive ever had to endure after a canceled flight, and it was actually promoted by the airport. Carpets were nasty beyond belief. Blankets had so many holes in them it was hard to believe they stayed in one piece! Dusty, sticky furniture with the drawers ripped off. Lamps that didnt work. Chairs that were so dirty your scared to sit in for fear of catching something. Im quite sure this place has multiple code violations not to mention health violations. Please dont stay here! I would not stay here if it was a last resort for shelter.

This hotel shouldnt be standing let alone open. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH! Yes this may be the cheapest costing hotel in miles, but the drive is worth the wait. My family and I stayed her 10/18 — 10/21 for an emergency. As soon as we pulled up I could tell right away that our stay wasnt going to be good. We got there around 1pm after 2 flights from sa town. Walked in and mannn let me tell you, I was kicked in the face with a horrible smell. Smelt like a moldy piece of drywall soaked in water. I would rather be in a room with babies with stank diapers. Neways, after being asked for a credit card incase of damage. We started our way up to our rooms in this old elevator, that probally looked better then the entire hotel. Half of the fam made there way to the 7th floor, where we made our way to the 6th floor room 612. I was shocked and pissed when that door open and I got a quick picture of the room. Wow. Nasty old red carpet that just looked moldy and dusty caught our eye. It smelled sooo bad I had to get some disinfectants spray. As we walked in more we notice the huge leak on the wall running vertical and was shocked seeing that. Not only that, I noticed some ceiling tiles out of place which was creepy, felt like I was being watched but whatever watch all you want. Now lets talk about the bed omg! Looked like the drapes on the window, converted in to covers lol r u serious.

Not even worth one star it was absolutely disgusting. Hair in towels. Even holes in the shower wall. Like do not go here. Ever. And it smells like death. Holes in the blanket. Worst of the worst.

Nice staff all around. They have fridges and microwaves in every room which is a huge bonus compared to other stingy hotels. The hotel is prob one of the cheapest in price I have ever stayed at. Close to harrahs casino as well as 476 and i-95. Would definitely recommend, won't hurt your wallet and check in is at 11am and check out is 12pm whaaat? Who does that? They're awesome.

I've stayed at quite a few Days Inns and they were all excellent, until today. First and foremost it's in a terrible neighborhood. It doesn't take too long to figure that out. Then, when we first arrived two signs in the parking lot caught my eye. These signs were stating that the hotel was not responsible if your valuables get stolen, your car is broken into or vandalized. By this time I was getting a little uneasy, but proceeded to the check out desk. A man with an unbearable amount of cologne checked me into room 207 while I observed the incredibly dingy and rundown lobby. After the whole process was over, we headed up to our room. As soon as we opened the door this absolutely terrible odor just hit me right in the face. The room looked even worse than the hotel lobby, and everything just looked cruddy. However all of this is nothing compared to what I found when I pulled the sheets back. BEDBUGS! Living and dead ones. In the bed and even along the wall and on the floor. At this point I was beyond repulsed with this horrendous place. We quickly grabbed our things and headed to the front desk. Fortunately the man who checked us in gave us a refund without too much of a fuss. I will never ever return to that hotel, and it has made me rethink the confidence I had in Days Inns.

Dirty, scary place. My fight was cancelled, and I called a number provided by the airport to assign me to a hotel for the night (at my expense). Was quoted $55 but was charged $78. The lobby smelled and was just plain ugly and outdated. The room was disgusting: layers of grime on the remote, yellowing ceiling tiles, dirty comforter. I can go on. After a few hours, I talked to the clerk to tell him the place scared me, and he replied, "no refund. " Worst hotel ever. Shame on the airlines for having it linked to their hotel accommodation phone line.

For $99.99 plus tax I expected way more than what I got. No breakfast (unless you buy it from the restaurant — which doesn't look clean). Dirty interior. Unsafe and unsightly exterior. Wires being held together by cable ties because they're frayed. Sparks coming out of the sockets. I could go on, but I'll stop there. It's my fault for not being better prepared. I'll own it. But you can GUARANTEE I will NOT patronize this place again. You couldn't pay me the $99.99 plus tax to stay here again. Let me go to sleep — if I can — so I can get the heck out of here. Thank goodness for Lysol and my Higher Power. I'm going to need them both to get through this night. *Very unsatisfied guest*.
