It was very peac I really recommend this if you meantime is sit back think and get your thoughts together very very nice.

Customer service is the worst. They hardly clean the rooms, staff will yell at each other, I have never tasted a more disgusting breakfast. Will never stay at a Best Western in my life because of my experience here for the last week.

This was a great hotel. The room was large, the TV was high quality, and the wake up call was right on time. Breakfast was great!

For someone like me, who wanted to stay near the airport, I believe I have made the right choice staying in this hotel. The parking area is not necessarily by the front entrance, but is not far either. The hotel is nice, clean and has a very friendly staff. The rooms are good and have all amenities. The free breakfast is very good, and the staff will go out of their way to make sure you are well served. There are nearby restaurants, and the hotel is easily accessible from route 95.

Overall great hotel… Nothing spectacular but it's in Chester so mostly they make their money from Widener University going student's parents who wanna stay here for a night or two. Stayed here for a night, the breakfast was good. They have shuttle service to airport and to Widener University.

Very comfortable bed, I slept really well. The room is a bit out date, but it's clean and I was only there to sleep so whatever. The breakfast was more impressive than I expected! Eggs and a waffle machine + fresh fruit.

Got stuck in Philly due to a cancelled flight, they put us up here, the shuttle driver was great and helpful (Mo) and the young lady working the desk was awesome, even let a guest in front of us use her phone charger overnight! (Shaina? ) I think, I cant remember but it was on 7/17/18 early morning, 3am! I manage a hotel and we received very courteous and fast service!

My experience was amazing. The hotel was nice. The employees were very professional and had such positive attitudes. The only thing I would change is the location because it’s not much to do in the area. Other than that, no complaints at all.

Looked like the best option to stay in the Chester area to watch a match at the Union's stadium. 7/11 and decent pub right next to the hotel. Wasn't disappointed.

Nothing special about the rooms but nothing terrible. It's the staff that make this place great! Really welcoming and helpful. Definitely stay here just for the staff interactions.

Older but nice hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Within walking distance of the University and a restaurant across the street. Free shuttle pick up to and from the airport. Small workout room.

All staff was great. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom and a drinking straw on the floor. The hallway got smokey at night, I don't know why. It smelled funny though.

No stars given. They abuse employees. The shuttle driver who is the only redeeming person there does everything for them and yet he is paid as a shuttle driver. My door lock was broken every night. I was there for business. So after working a 12 hour day I would have to wait for the very kind and capable shuttle driver to fix it — which took hours each night. And I was told no other rooms were available. The whole staff except Kenneth are out to lunch. It's the worse experience I have had in a very long time at a hotel.

Great hotel for the weekend stay in Philly. Reasonably priced and close to the city attractions. 20 minutes or so away from the city. Also If you're coming out to Philly for an Eagles or 76ers game go with this place. We've passed Lincoln financial field a few times as it's nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff, The Rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy. Very satisfied with my stay.

Arrived late in the evening for an early visit at Widener the next morning. Easy check in. Rooms were nice and a good value for the price. We needed more towels in the morning and the help at the front desk was wonderful. Everyone was friendly. Breakfast was good, especially since it was free. Would definitely stay again.

Staff was fantastic, room was comfy. However, the wall around Jacuzzi tub was really disgusting. Probably just hard to see unless you are in tub. Otherwise great place.

Well accessible by car, friendly staff, but from 6 am quite noisy and not really clean. There is room for improvement.

The best part about this hotel is the staff. They always had a smile on, ready to answer questions. The rooms were pretty nice. We had a non-smoking room but it smelled faintly of smoke. We were there for 3 nights and the housekeeping added extra cups, toiletries, and towels, but didn't change the sheets and no sign of vacuuming. The distance from the parking lot to the front desk is no fun in January.

My family and I were on vacation in the Poconos but were staying 1 night in Philadelphia before heading home to NY. I booked this room blind, took a chance because it was close to sightseeing we planned on. When we got here we were pleasantly surprised! Hotel is clean, room is spacious, staff are extremely professional courteous and friendly. Our stay included buffet breakfast. Didnt know what to expect but there was Belgian waffles, eggs, sausage, variety of pastries and bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, cold cereals and granola. Very reasonably priced and a great stay. We will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is nice, even though it is in the hood. There's an Uno restaurant right across the street nd a 7-11 right next door, which was really convenient. Although it's winter, the floors outside of the rooms and in the elevator were always sticky with something worse than the sleet, but there was always a wet floor sign, even though it appeared the floors were never mopped. The breakfast was decent — waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, cereal, the usual. I just loved the little old lady that worked there on Christmas Eve. The hotel is across the street from a college. Although the surrounding neighborhood was not very visually appealing, I felt safe and there were no incidents. It's about 20 min from Philly, worth the price.

When we turned on the heat in the room at night a TERRIBLE smell came from the heating unit. We shut the heat off as quickly as possible, but the putrid odor lingered in the room for the rest of the night. It was disgusting. Front desk staff was professional about this and provided the contact info for the Assistant GM, but an email to the management has not been answered which is disappointing. I cannot recommend this hotel based on this experience. On the positive side, the front desk staff, especially Kelli, were very friendly and welcoming.

This is the best hotel to stay at for anyone with a graduating Airmen at Lackland Air Force Base. I swear the hotel its staff everything was put in place just for the graduation process. Everyone was so knowledgeable and so willing to share the information and tolerate a billion questions. Very professional staff very clean facilities very close to Lackland. This is the place to stay absolutely hands down. We had friends staying at a nearby Hotel there were also attending graduation and their hotel and its staff didn't even come close to comparing. Great Best Western.

I have never stayed at a hotel that everyone that I encountered was as pleasant, helpful and friendly who genuinely seemed to love what they were doing. Kelli who checked us in greeted us with a huge smile, Jerry the breakfast attendant who brought sunshine into the room with her kindness friendliness and was concerned if everybody had what they needed. She made you feel like you were a guest in her home. The rooms were very clean and the decor was also very nice. If we are ever in that area again I t would be the Hotel we would stay in.

My stay here was pleasant. Nice neighborhood, not far from interstate. Helpful front desk staff. Rearranged two separate bookings so that I wouldn't have to switch rooms. Room clean. Comfy bed. Shower needs an upgrade. Fruit at Breakfast along with other items. Breakfast area near front entrance automatic doors. Maybe the reason for noticeable flies at breakfast. There's a nice restaurant next door.

Kelly the front desk employee was the BEST! We appreciate her customer service and her overall professionalism. We had some issues but she listens and provided options to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was presented nicely and the food and drink met our needs. The employee that checked us out and the also the employee that managed the breakfast bar were also very sweet and professional. We had some small issues regarding the cleanliness of the room and a situation we didn't appreciate, this has been given in detail in the feedback requested by the hotel.

Very great experience and the staff was professional and kind. Breakfast was hot and the fresh fruit was good too. I will definitely return.

After reading some of these reviews I'm wondering if something is wrong with me because my 2 night stay (8/8-8/9) at this hotel was not enjoyable… On the way in the automatic entrance door wasn't working, my sister had to push it open. Our room, 447, had loose screws around the metallic panel and the closet was leaning off the tracks. Also the gym was not up to snuff: both exercise balls were grossly deflated, there were no trash cans, and no sanitary wipes or spray to wipe down equipment (there were gnats in the gym as well as in our room the 1st night). The Wi-Fi was beyond lagging, walls were paper thin (could hear everything people next door were saying). There was an apartment complex less than 30 feet away where people would stand outside the conjoined 7-11, conversing until 3 in the morning, don't understand why a hotel would be built so close to that. Also when we called prior to arriving, no one at the front desk could answer our questions, they always had to go ask someone else for answers, also it took more than 2 minutes for people to answer the phone. There was also a musty stench emanating into our room, could've been the a/c unit, it's unclear. Suffice it to say, this hotel needs to be updated and they need to get people who can answer the phone and questions in a timely fashion. Would've given this place a 0 if I could.

Hotel is VERY close to 7-11 and across street from Widener University. No frills is correct as there is no pool and work out room is small — I didn't use once large track team arrived and consumed hotel grounds. Parking is around the corner and through a dark pass through so NOT easy to unload. Track team overran hotel and were there remainder of stay. Three of us were there for teaching at Crozer Chester Hospital so was < one mile to travel, however if it wasn't 7-11 crowd being noisy, it was kids running up and down hallways, broke rail on stairs, put elevator out of service, and gave the ice machines such a work out noise woke me from sound sleep on last day of assignment as I was trying to play catch up on Rest! Staff did not handle well and when I reported a guest parking illegally in handicapped zone, nothing was done about it as Lexus was still there on our return from work. Price was a bargain for company but not for professionals trying to work and rest in downtime. Bed was comfortable and maid service was average or below. I tipped as we were there Tuesday — Sunday. Breakfast wasn't stellar but they did have waffle makers so I could stick to my Ideal Protein food plan. Fair for stays if you need a place to crash ONLY but if you have down time and want amenities, this is NOT for you.

Everything was lovely. The seniors did a wonderful job with the breakfast. The chicken, waffles, and everything was great. The staff was wonderful. When u walk in the desk clerk greeted you with a warm welcome. If u went out and came back later that night the night clerk greeted u also with a warm welcome. The housekeeping staff was wonderful. They were very polite. I would recommend this hotel to everyone that I know. The exercise room I also loved as well. A great place to stay. I will be back soon.

Our flight into Philadelphia arrived at 7:00 pm (EARLY! ). We called the hotel for shuttle pickup and NOBODY ANSWERED THE PHONE! We called the Corporate number, and the woman there, phoned the hotel. Our wait on that call was over 5 minutes. When she came back on the line, she said that they would send the shuttle, but they did not have a wheelchair available (which we needed). We waited for the shuttle. When it had not arrived by 8:00 pm, we called, and called and called. It was past 8:30 pm when the shuttle arrived, only to slow down and then pull to the curb further from us. When we arrived at the hotel, there was a new person at the front desk, who took no time telling us how she was new and how serious it would be if she made a "mistake". She finally gave us our room key. We had reserved a King Suite with a separate sitting area. When we opened the door to our room, we had two queen beds. Period. Not the suite we had reserved. When I called to say that we were not given the room we had reserved, we were told that that was all she had. NO! We had reserved — online — a King Suite with private sitting area! The front desk person finally said that we should return to the front desk and she could put us in another room… which turned out to be a "suite" for handicapped persons! I had purposely NOT reserved that kind of room! We stayed in the room… but the television in the sitting area DID NOT WORK! There was a HUGE stain on the ottoman that made using it quite repulsive.

Stayed in the King suite. It was nice. Separate living room and bedroom. Kitchen was smaller than similar rooms at other hotels I've stayed at and no tub, just a shower in the bathroom. I was just there for a quick night traveling through on business. The price was good. Even with the things I wished could have been better, I would and will stay here again. Easy access off of I95 and close to Philadelphia airport. If your visiting Widener University it's right there.

Awesome staff, everyone was very professional and so polite. Very rare these days, stayed for work this week. I travel ten+ months of the year. I will stay here next time I am in town.

There's visible poop stains wiped on to our "new" towel. Unfortunately, we didn't realized it until we wiped ourseleves with it. This hotel is the dirtiest place we've ever stayed at. In my whole life i've never ever experienced something so distgusting. I am beyond pissed. -USED WET tissue paper being stuck back in to the tissue box. -No extra toilet paper -Poop stained towel -Dirty bed sheets that haven't been washed -BED BUGS -HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE -NO EARLY CANCELLATION WHOEVER IS THE ATTENDANT HERE, YOU LAZY MOTHER F***. this is bull. I hope you get karma! I wish I didn't have to give any stars you a***hole! we were literally the nicest people ever, how did we ever deserve this treatment? do not stay here i repeat do not stay here pay a little extra to stay somewhere else please I beg of you guys so you guys don't have to experience what we experienced. ATTENDANT, I am reporting you to corporate or anybody who would take this seriously because this is NOT ok. Filthy!

I was very disappointed at the lack of professionalism showen by the staff, Laura in particular. The small event held at this facility today could have been a lot better if not for the lack of concern shown by the staff this Saturday afternoon the 18th. After all the miscommunication over the last 30 days along with the complaints from guests of disrespectful comments heard from your staff, I will never recommend your company to any of my colleges for any professional events. to all who read this — look elsewhere for your event neens…

It was a really rough night of sleep. 7-Eleven is right outside of the window and I was woken numerous times (2:30 a. M. For one) by constant chatter and laughing of hoodlums hanging out there, as well as the traffic (see photo). To compound matters the furnace unit sounds like its on the Blitz and was louder then a motor vehicle. The staff was nice and bed was comfy but that was overshadowed by poor sleep.

I've been a patron for a little over 2 years. And "Patron" is the one word that I really have a hard time using is this review. The Manager Chris, and the Customer Service Rep Cher, and Ms. Donna and her daughter Ms. Erica in Housekeeping, Oh! and I can't forget about my man Rodney Driving the Shuttle. Those guys really take care of me. I always speak about family on a first name bases. And those guys are like family to me. So there you have it! The Service is "Family". The People are "Caring, Friendly, and Professional". And The Facilities are "Second to None". I plan to sick around as long as you'll guys will have me. Thanks. You guys are awesome!. Place to Stay.

Rooms are decent, no bath tabs. Housekeeping leaves their hair all over. But shuttle is a total nightmare. Hotel is 11 min away according to Google. You will wait indefinitely. Driver will take his time, stop for personal reasons and regardless how many times you will call the hotel, you will hear generic excuses and nothing gets done. I waited anywhere from 40 min to 1.5 h for the shuttle. And no, he does not have to pick up 30 people. Its a tiny van.
