Clean rooms and friendly staff.

It was a quiet clean stay. However if you book through a discount service it will cost you 15 dollars a person for their breakfast. We were not told until after we were eating that our room was not on her list. I was obviously not happy, but everything else was good.

Very bad rude staff bad experience.

The friendliest staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with — from the front desk receptionist, to the cleaning people. Truly, they are so accommodating, so sweet, and so hospitable! Thank you so much! This kind of service is very rare, and it’s sincerely appreciated!

Most important thing: this place is clean. Everything in our room was great and clean. This is a very basic Hilton. Very small indoor pool, very small bar area, very small lobby. If you want big and fancy, this isn't the place. I base my stays on cleanliness, so we would stay here again.

Front desk staff is horrible. Waited more than 10 minutes to check in. Wandered looking for any hotel staff to assist, called the hotel from my cell in the lobby-they just let it ring. Finally 3 employees came out at the same time, not an apology for the wait. Room was dirty, general areas in hotel were dirty with trash and dirty towels overflowing in pool area. I’m not talking for a little while-checked in Friday and still there Sunday morning. Tried to talk to front desk staff Saturday afternoon about the gutter falling off the roof and as I approached the desk they walked away (same employees from check in the day before). Hole in roof above room 502. Giant pot hole in the middle of the parking lot entrance. Pool light sitting on side of pool with cord running into pool-yes, seriously. Wi-Fi not working-tried to call front desk and you guessed it, no answer. No towels in the pool area for entire stay. On the plus side, the breakfast was good and the lady working the bar area/breakfast was very nice. There are comparably priced places nearby that include breakfast and surely have better staff… stay there!

We stayed here on Labor Day weekend. We booked two days in advance and were happy to see that they weren't price gouging as other hotels in the area were. Our late check-in went smoothly and we were upgraded to a room with a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom which we took advantage of. The room was spacious and clean. It was outfitted with a large screen TV, a king size bed and a mini fridge which we used. Importantly, since we'd had a late night, it also had blackout curtains. The bed had a 'dent' on one side, obviously from wear over the course of many other customer uses. The mattress needed to be replaced. One complaint: the housekeeper woke us up at 8:30 am loudly knocking on the door. I don't know any other hotel that has cleaners come through and try to clean a room before checkout time if its patrons haven't left. This disturbed our sleep. The foyer entrance area has complimentary coffee, but we opted for the buffet breakfast ($10.95 each) that included eggs, hash browns, toast, cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, waffles and much more. Our server Nora did a fantastic job and she was very friendly. Checkout went smoothly. This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel. They have some room for improvement, but overall our needs were met.

Nice hotel, especially for the price, in this area. Definitely an older hotel that has gotten a "face lift" to match the looks of the nicer-end Hilton hotels. No big complaints, thought sometimes smaller things in the room can have trouble working or might need maintenance — never anything big. Staff is generally very nice, and like all staff, sometimes there are a couple sour apples or moments where staff is off their game, but nothing worth docking. Overall a solid experience.

I enjoyed my stay. However, the vending machine for my floor was not working & the refrigerator in my room was barely cold. For the price of the rooms everything should be in top top shape…

Having booked the reservation in advance, I was not expecting to show up at the front desk and be told our room was not available. Apparently there was a problem with the room and it was uninhabitable, which happens and I completely understand. However going from a handicap accessible room with a roll in shower, to a standard room and given a shower bench, is more than just a minor issue. At the desk I asked why I wasn’t called in advance of my arrival, I was told they should have called, but I had no messages ir missed calls. I was given a discount on the room rate and given a free breakfast for my trouble. But when I had gotten to my room, I found the room was not quite up to the standards I was expecting, even as a standard room. I don’t like to complain, but I did asked to speak to the manager at checkout to just explain the importance of notifying A customer when there are issues, especially with an accessible room. I spoke to Sonia the general manager, she was incredibly professional, very empathetic, and sincerely understood the difficulties we face in having a standard room versus accessible. I went from not wanting to come back to the hotel, in my future travels, to absolutely putting them at the top of my list for my next stay in New Jersey. It has clean rooms and friendly service. The dinners served at the restaurant were tasty. However, the oatmeal at breakfast time was watery on the last day of my stay. Note that the hotel's satellite TV service failed during a snowstorm with an accumulation of 1".

Always a great place for our corporate meetings. They keep the temperature at a comfortable setting. Lunch was great. Food prepared was tasty and well prepared. Staff was helpful and respectful!

Went to the Hilton Garden Inn for a professional event. The lobby was inviting and comfortable. The lobby bar was hopping. A very nice place.

Very convenient location, very clean and the staff is super kind and friendly. Sunday night check in was friendly, Maritza and Enrique addressed requests with a smile. This is our second time back and like the fridge, microwave and kuerig in the room, so convenient. Staying towards the back it's a bit noisy but we have stayed in the front also and it is quieter. The noise is from the highway not the hotels fault will return again.

We enjoyed our stay! My company hosted our holiday party here this year. Food was good, the hotel was clean and the room was affordable. I did find it a little crazy that the contintental breakfast was not free though.

Location to the NJ Convention Center can't be beat! The hotel has a small bar and restaurant, along with room service. It combines the best of a large hotel with the comfort and care of a small one.

Comfortable, convenient, clean and quite. A good centralized location to venture out. Only minutes away from NJ Turnpike (I-95), Garden State Parkway, I-287, U. S. 1, and Route 9.

Great place to land when you are in the area. Food and coffee is up there with the best hotels. As a traveler you can easily find this place inviting with a 5 star staff. I will return often and recommended the Hilton garden inn to everyone-especially my more discerning travelers. The staff and facilities will exceed their expectations.

Wonderful stay from the front door to check out. Clean modern very well designed and welcoming hotel. Room was immaculate, comfortable, and had all the required amenities for an excellent rate! Good lighting convenient sockets for recharging phones, very comfy bed. Free Wi-Fi and just a very positive vibe throughout the hotel. Did not eat there so no comment on food. Would highly recommend if you are in the area. Stayed in Westin Chicago Michigan Ave last weekend and it was cold and unfriendly and overpriced.

We had to wait 35 mins for our room. The room should have been ready by 1 pm when I called them. But I got the room by 3:35 pm. The manager and the staff did not care I had to wait this longer. The house keeping never came to clean up and the ice machine was broken on our floor. On top of that they charged me the wrong price and charged my 3 times. My family and I will never stay at Hilton.

Needed to stay the night in just their standard room. The room and staff were great and I had no issues whatsoever. If I was in the area, I would stay there again.

No ice box in the room, no glasses, ac issues, breakfast bad, even though we'd booked the room with breakfast we had to pay since they said it didn't reflect, connecting to Wi-Fi took nearly 30 minutes had to take the laptop to the front office where they too tried for some time and finally got connected. The only saving grace was the amazing weather during the entire weekend.

Attended a career fair at this hotel. The meeting room was clean and well organized. Management did a good job of directing all the attendees between the conference rooms.

Everything was great. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the room was very clean, and the bar felt friendly and able to engage with other guests and the bartender. The bed was stiff but I was so tired I fell asleep in a matter of seconds.

Pay less for other hotels get a pool a so on with them plus a free breakfast. Pay more for this one and what do we get a bag with two waters and a small bag of pretzels. Yes room was clean and staff nice. Just saying about other less expense hotels that are nice two.

Comfortable bed. Good shower. Breakfast is not free but it was good. Room has a musty smell that went away after we switched on the AC.

Attended a presentation by Federal Business Centers. Lunch spread was done well. Good amount of supplies. Sound and projection were very good. Acoustics in room were limited, so audience questions were not easy for everyone to hear. But overall, it was a good event.

Some of the staff was less than hospitable, even rude at times. We were at a women's conference and management was horrible. They did not honor the original contract and made several things an issue. We had women that traveled from various states that we were hosting and wanted to cater to them in excellence. It's impossible to do that when the venue lacks integrity and does not operate in excellence. Needless to say that as a Hilton honors member, I personally will never stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Edison, NJ again.

We were supposed to have checked in on Thursday however they were overbooked and informed us that we had to stay one night at the Marriott near by. Not really what you want to hear when it's 1am and you just want to go to bed. Otherwise, the service afterwards, was good.

Nice hotel. It might seem small, but they have no tea selection so if you want more than coffee bring your own.

The room was nice. Stayed over for a wedding at a venue nearby. Breakfast was good. Nice amount of food for a reasonable price.

The lobby is very pretty and they have a nice gym and pool area. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature and the space was clean. The night desk manager Tony was incredibly nice and helpful. The beds and pillows made our necks and backs hurt and we could hear everything going on in the hallway and we'll as the loud people in the room next to us so that interrupted our sleep. Room and bathroom was clean. Had trouble getting hot water from the shower.

I would give this hotel a lower rating except for the "up front" employees that make staying here a great experience; they are great. Here 6 months ago & the entire place seemed more polished. This time the shine is gone. This is most evident in the room. Not unclean but the little things give a poor impression.

Typical for the brand. Large clean room. Breakfast buffet not as good as in some others. Staff friendly and helpful. We often stay in Garden Inn when we travel and would definitely recommend. Good value for price.

Regular professional meetings here. Pretty standard hotel and I couldn't speak much to the accommodations. Good for organizations centrally located in NJ.

Went for a work conference in the morning, but did not stay overnight so I can't comment on the rooms or service. Very clean building and friendly staff. Good location, easy to get to. Parking seems a little limited, but not too bad. Overall one of the nicer hotels in the area.

The room we had was somewhat renovated. They had newer tiles in the bathroom but popcorn ceilings throughout and ugly carpeting. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean upon arrival. Pricing was reasonable.

Held our first ever live Inked Awards there and the staff, more specifically, Tiffany Lewis (Sales Manager) was amazing! Very accommodating and great to work with! The hotel rooms are very clean and big!
