Such a lovely place to stay. The owners are very hospitable. Very clean.

This was one of the most memorable quick getaways I’ve ever had! Short drive from New York but like a different world! The beach right down the block was such a relaxing walk and welcomed sight this time of year! Looking forward to seeing it’s glory in the winter months! To come back to the original 1880’s stone fireplace and warm up with a cup of tea felt like heaven! Highly recommend this inn if needing a quick getaway and rejuvenation! They also have such romantic rooms with fireplaces and jetted tubs! The made to order breakfast…whatever you want! …just capped off the perfect weekend! I will be back to see the winter sea! Thanks Bill and Linda for making our stay absolutely perfect! 💫🥂🤗

Wonderful visits to The Inn at the Shore the past two weekends. Fun whether cold or hot weather. Enjoyed the Fireplace, cozy room, delicious breakfasts and lovely porch… Walkable to the lake and ocean. Very Welcoming ☀️🐚🌊

We stayed over the Valentine weekend and found the Inn to be exactly as advertised. Warm, engaging Innkeepers in Bill and Linda, fabulous breakfast and a warm and cozy room. We will be back! Bob and Ann Kelly.

Just came back two days ago. Everything was as always wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was gourmet. The host Linda and Bill go above and beyond to make your stay so memorable especially during these trying times with the pandemic. They took all precautions and we felt so safe and at ease at all times. Will be back again this summer.

This inn is in a great location and the hosts are fabulous. Felt very safe as the Inn was following strict CDC guidelines for COVID. Breakfast was wonderful. I would highly recommend the Inn at the Shore In Belmar.

Everything about this place was great. Quiet, homy, very relaxing. It actually felt like I was on a week vacation. Linda was so sweet and Bill is a magic man in the kitchen. The room was perfect. The presentation of the food was amazing and it was so delicious. It almost felt like we were having a second honeymoon. It is a memory we will always cherish and hold dear in our hearts. Great place! Innkeepers are so nice & hospitable. Huge breakfast with whatever your heart desires & nicely presented on China & real silverware! They definitely put the little touches on details! Bill and Linda are two of the most welcoming and warm people! The Inn is just beautiful. You feel immediately at home. Breakfast was amazing. Bill even made a vegan tofu scramble for me and Linda had avocado toast available. We will be back for sure!

This is the ideal location to enjoy a quiet and cozy getaway in scenic Belmar. My wife and I enjoyed a short honeymoon there and could not recommend it more highly. It is in a great location, has a well-furnished and inviting porch, and sports lovely communal living and dining rooms. The bedrooms are very warmly decorated but may seem small to some; we thought our room, The Courtney Rose, was exactly what we needed. There is a ton of history to this Inn if you are curious. Bill and Linda are extremely hospitable, friendly, and courteous. They are attentive to your needs or questions and they offer something we've never experienced at similar establishments across country: Bill is an accomplished chef and will make just about anything you'd like for breakfast. If you plan on staying anywhere in Belmar, do the smart thing and plan your stay at this Inn, not only for the great location but for its kind and inviting hosts. Pro-tip: Try Bill's Eggs Benedict, they are to die for.

Cute rooms, great service from the innkeepers. Easy beach access and the eggs benedict for breakfast were the best I've ever had. Such nice people, everything is very well thought out, I will have to find more reasons to visit New Jersey just to stay here again.

Breakfast was delicious and Linda is super sweet. Had a veggie loaded omlette. The inn is really close to the water and a feasible walking distance away from places to eat. We were visiting belmar for a wedding. Wish they had a full length mirror in the rooms. (maybe it was just our room that didn't have one) and a dresser. We were two girls that were having a hard time finding space to get ready and do our hair. Maybe the other rooms were different. The Maureen Grace was a smaller room with a small sink and chest. If we weren't getting ready for a wedding I wouldn't of minded the small space.

Great location 2 blocks from the beach. Lovely, helpful, welcoming inn keepers! Wonderful full cooked to order breakfast, superb spread of other breakfast foods. Free loan of seasonal beach badges… none of that discounted badge stuff and beach cruiser bicycles. Pool table in living room. Large porch to people watch and chat.

What a fantastic place to stay. Bill and Linda were the finest, most accommodating, friendly people we ever dealt with at a B&B. This charming, historical, comfortable Bed and Breakfast is so worth the trip. We will be back.

We come to Belmar for a surfing contest once a year and have struggled in the past to find a nice comfortable place to stay. We found Inn at The Shore on line and gave it a shot. Wow! This place is great. Bill and Linda are salt of the earth. Very accommodating and professional. We loved it here and when we come to Belmar NJ in the future we'll be sure to visit them again. A+!

As our first experience staying at a B&B, this is what we always dreamed it to be!
It is charming, very romantic, and so quaint! Our bedroom was lovely and we enjoyed a goodnights rest. We met another guest while drinking a cup of tea last night, we left the lovely dining room as friends. Love the Inn, as owners Bill & Linda are caring and gracious hostesses. We awoke to coffee, ordered our personized breakfast, which was so yummy, thanks to chef Bill! We love the Inn, as owners Bill & Linda are caring and gracious hostesses. Bill and Linda we're amazing! Me and my K-9 partner Bruce (Federal Dog Agent! ) ended up getting left high and dry by the Embassy Suites at EWR. Long story short, Linda and Bill went so far and beyond to accommodate both of us, it was just amazing. We arrived and we're greeted by both, Bill offered to help me with my bag as Bruce was greeted by a bowl of cold water and his very own bed. Just an amazing experience. Looking forward to breakfast!

The owners bent over backwards to make sure we had a great experience and we did. Very nice people. I really enjoyed the breakfast that the former chef/ owner cooked up for me this morning as well. Also, can't beat the fact that it's two blocks from the beach and reasonable. I would definitely come back.
